Cancun 2017

This post is dedicated to Ashi and Rose as my thanks for opening the thread in my absence in March, 2017. Here's some pictures from our family trip to Cancun, Mexico.
All pictures have been taken by my very talented husband with a point and shoot camera (which was supposed to be the camera I was going to use, but I ended up with just my cell phone camera) since he broke his expensive Nikon DSLR the very next day we reached Cancun. But fortunately we managed to get it fixed for free. So hopefully we will have better picture to share from our upcoming trips.

This was just a tiny portion of the dessert counter that was served every day. And everything was free. You can guess how much dessert I ate with every meal...

    1. It is very beautiful. I love going to resorts. Although that's not something my husband prefers. However, definitely worth going at least once. 😊

  4. Hope you had a good time there. Looks like a good place to visit indeed.

More than the place, I am in awe with your husband's photography skills. I mean the angles, light, focus are all perfectly balanced in the photographs and these photographs have enhanced the beauty of the place.

  5. Such a beautiful place, I used to watch some mexican telenovelas so I know about the beauty of Mexico and Cancun is one of their most beautiful touristic cities, they also have wonderful nature in the countryside. It's on my destinations list. I hope you enjoyed your stay there

    1. We enjoyed the resort and family time. But my husband prefers more local experience which we didn't have much of being in a resort. But there are a lot of touristy stuff to do. If you don't have kids with you, then there are even more options available to do. If you like all inclusive resort, the one we went to was amazing. http://www.sandos.com/hotel-cancun-in-cancun.htm The food was great as well and the stuff were never pushy about tips or anything. Highly recommended.

    2. Ya it looks really beautiful. I also like along with relaxation and activities to have a local experience, their culture is very rich, so I'd like to discover more about it

    3. There is a bus that runs every 2 minutes every day through the resort strip of Cancun. It costs $1 (or 11 pesos) for tickets. The local market and experience (not the touristy stuff) is about 30-40 mins bus ride out of the resort strip. If you go there, do check out Mercado 28 for local handmade products. We bought a beautiful original handmade show piece there. These are one of a kind art, not mass produced stuff. Enjoy.
