I am not sure why Ashi didn't post today. I am sure she has a reason. However, I am on my way home. I will try to post today when I get home. But it will be short. Sorry for the delay.

EPISODE: The episode starts with Dev taking Sona her home in his bike She notices his distracted mood. She asks him to stop the bike.

When he stops the bike, she asks why is he distracted?

He asks if she can read all of her friends' minds like this.

Sonakshi holds his hands and asks him again.

Dev asks if she solves all her friends' problem like this.

Sona let's go off his hands hurriedly.

Dev asks that she was giving lessons on friendship just now. If she let's go off all of her friends' hands like this.


Me: Bhaiya, what do you want? No really. Why don't you come clean? You want her to say that you are a special friend in her life? Well, that ain't happening while you plan your second marriage. So why don't you concentrate on that?

Dev says that what she did for his mother...

Sonakshi says that if he keeps thanking her again she will get angry. She did it for him just like he would have done for her.

Bhaiya puts finger on her mouth and says shhh...

Dev says what she has done for him, he can't insult her by saying thank you. His mother is the most important person in his life and Sona did so much for her specially when Ishwari and her never had a good equation.

He says that Ishwari didn't take medicine from her. But she took the medicine.

She tells Dev that she doesn't blame her. Now that she is a mother, she can understand. She was just protecting her child. Sona has never blamed her. She blamed themselves. Their relationship broke because their relationship was not strong.

Me: You are wrong, Sona. Your father is protecting you because you got hurt twice by the same people. Ishwari never tried to protect her child. What would she protect him from? His happiness? Until you left him 8 years ago, you had never hurt him. It was him and Ishwari who hurt you. So you may try to understand her, but you never will understand her.

Dev reveals that Ishwari took the medicine right after Sonakshi left.

Sonakshi says that it must be because her being too friendly with Ishwari and that must had been awkward for her because they are no longer related. She thinks that Ishwari took the medicine because the doctor said so.

Dev says that his mother took the medicine on her own.


Sonakshi said that it's okay. Her father can't accept their friendship either. They can hope that they will understand her but they can't force them. She asks to go home.


She is about to leave when her skirt gets stuck in Bhaiya's bike. He bents down to get it out. Sona bents down too and eyelock.

Then they go home.

Me: I am very pleasantly surprised to see Bhaiya that your eyes finally opened up to your mother's reality. It's not just Sonakshi. Your mother will make life hell for any woman in your life.

So before you agree to take responsibility for another woman's happiness, think very carefully if you will be able to do justice to her. Not all women are like Sonakshi to keep killing her happiness for her love. Here you are not even offering your love.

Anyhoo, Dev and Sona reach Bose house.

Sona asks him if he wants to come in.

He says no first.

Sona says okay and she is about to go inside when he stops her.

He says that he will get a cup of tea and he can also get her father angry in 30 seconds.

Sona looks at him: Tumi ekdom impossible.

Dev says it's okay. Now that he is father of a daughter, he understands. Bijoy and him are similar type of person. That's why they will never get along.

They come in. Bijoy is reading newspaper.

Asha comes seeing them and greets them.

Sona asks for tea. Asha offers to make them and asks about Ishwari.

Dev says that she is fine and she is getting discharged from hospital today.

Me: God dammit. Yehi mauka tha Ishwari ki khopdi mein chauka maarne ka. Wapas stadium mein bhej diya googly maarke.

(This was your chance to whack a four on Ishwari's head. But you sent her back to stadium like a googly)

He greets Bijoy: Hi, Mr. Bose.

Bijoy says why did he need to bring Sona. She could have come on her own. No need to stay there too long. He can go back to his mother in hospital.

Then he leaves.

Dev tells Sona that it took less than 30 seconds to piss him off.

Sona and Asha laugh with Bhaiya.

Me: Yes, Bhaiya. Bijoy Bose is not unpredictable. You keep your side of the bargain and you are in his good books. You make his family happy and you are accepted. He doesn't play games like your mother.

Now how much you are willing to bet on your mother's intention?

That's not a bet even a serious gambler will take since your mother is as two-faced as two-headed snake.

Anyhoo, Sonakshi goes to get fresh and asks Dev to do the same.

Dev goes to the kitchen where Asha is making tea. He offers to make the tea.

Asha is taken aback. But let's him make tea.

She asks what's the matter.

Bhaiya tries to distract her by flirting.

She pretends to get mock angry but does not budge from her question.

Me: Sigh, Asha!!! I wish you could read your husband's heart just as easily. As mother-in-law, you are probably the best out there. But as wife or mother, epic failure.


Dev says that nothing has changed between his mother and Sonakshi. Sonakshi did so much for her, but she still didn't thank her properly.

Asha says that it's okay. She is sick and she is in the hospital. It may not have occurred to her. Besides she is sure that Sona didn't help her hoping for thanks.

Dev says that he knows that. He also understood that way Ishwari used to feel about Sona, she still feels the same. Nothing has changed and may be never will. And that's may be because of me. Whatever we have now is because of Soha. But why does not she understand that Sona and him are taking care of each others' family for Soha's sake?

Asha smiles at him.

Dev says that he is talking about serious stuff and she is laughing at him.

Asha says that she is not laughing at him. She is seeing how much he has changed. 

Dev: Thank you. For listening to my ramblings.

Asha says he is welcome. But since all the water has evaporated, she will make tea now.

Dev says that he will go get Sonakshi.

Me: I wonder if Asha is really listening to Dev. Asha, you had once claimed to Bijoy that Ishwari must have changed over 8 years period because you wanted to convince him that Sonakshi will be fine if she is pushed back in Dixit house. Are you prepared to apologize to Bijoy for your rude behaviour over his accurate perception of Dixits now?

Do you realize, Asha that Dev will never be able to live separately from his mother? And his mother won't let any woman be happy with Dev. So that kind of makes Dev the most ineligible eligible bachelor in the world. It's a catch 22 situation with no solution. At least until Ishwari dies.

Yet you think Bijoy is mad to worry. He can't see reality in front of his ego. The truth is Asha, that Bijoy sees everything clearly and you deliberately have turned yourself into Gandhi's monkeys to deny reality because of your own ego.

So listen carefully to Dev and Bijoy and next time, don't try to use your brain. 


So Bhaiya goes upstairs to call Sonakshi who is drying her hair after taking a shower and Bhaiya goes into his favourite past time - staring at Behena.

Bhaiya: Years has gone by, time has changed, we have also changed. But when I see you, it feels that nothing has changed. Time stands still and it seems as if my heart has stopped beating. For some times, even my brain doesn't work. Why, why Miss Bose? Why do you confuse me so. Who told you to be so perfect? 

Suddenly, Asha calls Behena. Bhaiya quickly hides.

Sona responds to her: Aaschi (CVs, for God's sake. Not aaschish, aaschi is the correct word)

She again turns to the mirror and Bhaiya again turns into staring. 

Me: Bhaiya, what were​ you saying two minutes ago? You are taking care of each other's family for Soha? To idhar behena ko tadke Soha ke liye kaun sa jhanda gad rahe ho? (What big favour are you doing to Soha by staring at her Mummy)?


Anyhoo, Bhaiya brings Maiya home with Radha. Mamaji is sitting in the living room with Maalti and Kajal.

Maalti tells Ishwari that Dev has done a lot for them. He gave Kajal job in his office. Kajal calls Dev Bhaiya and thanks him for the job. Dev says that she got it on merit.

Me: One mystery solved. Chalo bach gayee ladki. (At least she got saved.)

Ishwari shows some more irritating humility.

Me: I wish she had shown some of it when she was being a jerk to Sona.

Anyhoo, Dev asks Vicky to drop Maalti and Kajol home. Vicky thinks that he got demoted to driver.

Me: Der saber, har koi apni aukat pe aahi jaata hain.

(Sooner or later, everyone comes to their true place)

Ishwari comes to her room and sees her room is decorated with baloons. Soha and Golu did all the decoration.

Ishwari becomes happy. She tells Soha to never go anywhere.

Me: My alarm bells are ringing real loud right now.

Soha and Golu want to stay her room that night.

Radha says no. But Ishwari says that she wants them to stay, so she relents.

Me: Surprisingly, Ishwari never showed so much love to Golu when he used to roam aimlessly there. All the action is just for Soha's benefit.

Funny how Soha is no longer uncomfortable in a strange bed, nor she has problems sleeping or staying without her parents. Bilkul apne Dadi pe gayee hain. (Takes after her grandmother).

Dev sends kids to do their homework if they want to stay with Ishwari.

Soha and Golu run.

Bhaiya tells Maata that he wants to do something for them.

Ishwari eagerly says that sure. He has already given job to Kajal, he can also do whatever he can for them.

Bhaiya says that he didn't mean Maalti and Kajal, he meant Sonakshi.

Ishwari and Radha's face turn from plump grape to raisin.


Ishwari still gets her fake smile and tries to show her generosity: Tell me what do you want to do? Tell me what Sonakshi likes. We will get it for her.

Me: Oye hello, doosro ke paison se ameer, Sonakshi aapko ek bazaar se kharid ke, doosri bazaar mein bech sakti hain. Uske paas ab itna paisa hain. To apna aukat sambhal ke rakhho. 

(Oye, hello. Rich person with someone else's money, Sonakshi can buy you from one market and sell you on another. She has that much money now. So keep your standard to yourself.)

Radha chirps in that she knows a jeweller who makes great silver stuff with gold colouring. No one can recognize that it's not pure gold. He can gift Sonakshi that.

Ishwari looks tensed.

Me: Maata, don't pretend. Your biggest worry isn't that Radha is being insulting. We all know that if Dev had agreed to give that insulting gift, you would have been the happiest person alive. I know you from inside out. So go pretend in front of someone else who doesn't want to see your true face despite knowing the truth like your son.

Dev just looks at Radha.

Then he says that Ishwari knows that they don't lack anything. So he can't insult them by giving a gift. He wants to show them that he is really grateful to them.

Me: Bhaiya, the point is not who lacks what. The point is treating people, any people from any walks of life, with respect. Ishwari kept showing you her mistreatment by people from upper class (at least upper class from her at that time), yet she feels no quilm to disrespect other people who are not from higher social strata from her. I have no doubt that had she not stole from Maalti, she would have treated her badly too.


Ishwari asks him to say what he wants.

Bhaiya says that he wants to invite the whole Bose family for dinner. 

Ishwari on the verge of real heart attack. 

Me: Bhaiya, apne kya kahan tha ki behena ke saamne aate hi aapka dimaag kaam karna bandh kar deta hain? Actually sach to hain ki aapka dimaag baki samay bandh rehta hain aur sirf behena ke aate hi uska Sree Ganesh hota hain. Duniya ka sab se jyada stupid idea tha yeh. Kisiko thank you ke saath mental stress gift nehin kiya jaata aur aapki Maa mental stress ki definition hain. Uparwale mein ittu sa bhi dimaag nehin diya kya?

(Bhaiya, you said that your brain doesn't work in front of Behena. But the truth is that your brain only works around behena. Rest of the time it doesn't work. This was the worst idea of the world. One should not gift mental stress as thank you gift and your mother is the very definition of mental stress. Didn't God gave you even this much brain?)


Radha chirps in again and says that Bijoy always create problems when he comes.

Bhaiya asks his Mother if he is right?

Ishwari asks if he was waiting for her yes.

Bhaiya says that if she agrees, then he can invite them.

Ishwari says okay. He can call them.

Bhaiya excitedly​ takes out his phone and then stops.

Maata asks what is he thinking? Tell her.

Bhaiya says that if Ishwari calls then they won't be able to find any excuse to refuse.

Maata is even more shocked. But gives her fake smile and agrees.

Bhaiya excitedly dials the phone and puts it on speaker.

Me: I swear if I didn't know better, I'd have thought that Bhaiya wants Maiya to get another heart attack and die or he is taking slow revenge. Par jo bhi ho, mere ko to bahut mazaa aaya (But whatever, I am loving it)... 


At Bose house, Sona and Asha are talking in living room. Bijoy picks up the phone.

Ishwari gets a little scared.

Me: Isn't it funny how much Bijoy scares people whose intention are fake? Love that guy. Best.father.ever.

Ishwari gathers courage and says that she is Ishwari.

Bijoy politely asks how is she doing.

Ishwari says that she is fine and she has come home.

Bijoy says that it's good.

Ishwari asks to speak to Sona.

Bijoy tells her to hold, he will call her.

Bijoy calls Sona and tells her it's Ishwari asking for her.

Sona takes the phone.

Me: See, this is why I love Bijoy. He is not a jerk like Ishwari. When no one bothers his family or he doesn't perceive any threat to them, he is a funny, joyful guy. But when he thinks that someone is going to hurt his family, he is ferociously protective as a father should be. Even Dev understands that because he is equally protective of his daughter. He won't behave any differently should another Dev comes in Soha's life. He knows it very well.

Anyhoo, Sonakshi takes the phone and asks her about her health. 

Ishwari says she is fine and then invites the entire Bose family for dinner.

Sonakshi tries to make excuses that Ishwari just came from the hospital and that she should rest now. But Ishwari cuts through the excuses.

So Sonakshi agrees.

Me: Sona, there is a term called emotional fool. I am sure your picture is beside the term in dictionary. You are responsible for all problem that arises in your family. To know very well that Bijoy does not like Dixits. Yet instead of telling Ishwari that you have plans that night or you are busy or whatever, you agreed to take your entire family in your ex-husband's home where they only have bad memory. You very well know Radha and Vicky's insulting nature and you know your father's self-respect even though you, your mother and your brother have none. How do you expect to manage this situation without ruining the fragile truce? 

And Bhaiya, next time, discuss with Sona before cooking up your harebrained schemes. It seems you deep fried a few brain cells staring at Behena.


PRECAP: Behena and Bhaiya are talking. Probably video chat. 

Bhaiya is saying that all day she has done so much work. But when she only has one hour left to come to his house, she is wondering what to wear. 

Behena wonders why he is so happy.

Bhaiya says that the whole Bose family is coming. That's why he is happy. Besides she is killing his excitement. She can wear whatever she wants. She has to come to dinner, it's not their wedding.

Behena is taken aback.


Me: Sureeeee... Bhaiya, have you heard Freaudian slip. It is an unintentional error of speech to be considered to reveal innermost subconscious feelings. Considering how many times your tongue slips on marriage and Sona, more kids and Sona, you and Sona in various situations and positions, I have sincere concern for the woman you will agree to marry. You very well know that between your mother and you, you will screw up her life. So as I see it, you only have two ways - remain a bachelor until your mother dies (which could take forever, but this self inflicted pain is your choice) or dump your mother in Radha's care (she claims that she laus your mother, so give her the nurse's job) and sit on Bijoy's door until he lets you in.

At this point, you are in a limbo and you will forever be in a limbo if you decide to marry again.
