Tia's Thread - Doggy Tail
You must be wondering why I titled today's post as Doggy Tail. Well I thought I will write about Maata today since she returned after such a long time.
You see, when I was watching the episode from yesterday, I just kept thinking back on the days when she used to do elaborate pujas while she was playing kitchen politics to ruin her son's marriage and trying to keep him away from his wife.
The same way, she thinks that Sonakshi coming back into her son's life is due to her past karma. But she is completely overlooking the fact that Sonakshi leaving her son's life which broke him into tiny pieces and kept him away from his daughter for 7 years was all because of her kitchen politics.
Now when I see her praying to God to keep "That Woman" from her son because of whom, she has a granddaughter, her son has a genuine smile on his face after a very long time and their house that looked like graveyard, actually looks like a home.
So you see, some people can go for religious tour and visit every Temple, Mosque, Church, Gurudwara in every corner of the world, but when their heart is full of malice and hate, God doesn't look at them kindly.
Because at the end of the day, the true divinity reside in a kind and loving heart.
Dev excuses himself and goes with Sonakshi.
Ishwari looks at them with kinda psycho expression if you ask me.
Radha tells Soha to go to PK and get ice cream for her grandmother.
Mamaji offers to get ice cream for everyone.
The moment Mamaji leaves with Soha, Radha starts her instigating. Not that Ishwari needs much to go against Sona. But why not do her part.
Radha says that Sona didn't do her any favour by staying back. But she used her cunning nature to stay back in this house. She never wants to leave from here.
Ishwari is still sitting with her constipated face swallowing pearls of gem falling from Radha's mouth.
Me: Sure, Mamiji. This house is so peaceful and the family is so supportive, who will want to leave from here? Look how often Dev stepped foot in this house in last 7 years.
Sona, behena. You know there is a saying in Bengali. It's called apatre daan which means donating to the undeserving.
They neither do any good to anyone, on top of it, the person who is donating gets a bad name. This is the proverbial thankless task.
At Dev's room, Dev thanks Sona for her decision to stay back one more week. He thinks his mother must be very happy.
Me: *SNORT*
Sona asks if he saw Soha's face. She is also very happy. They didn't have time together. So she decided to stay for another week. By then they will also solve Khatri's issue.
Dev: The issue will get solved when we find out about the family. You are wasting your time with him. I can deal with people like him. Just give me 10 minutes with Khatri. He will start talking about secrets from his past life in 11th minute onwards.
Sona: Shut up, Dev. What are you saying?
Me: Bhaiya is saying that he will go, do Khatri dhulai, then chakki pissai in jail.
(Bhaiya is saying that he will beat up Khatri and then spend his life in jail)
Ishwari is walking towards Dev's room.
Me: I have never seen bad time physically approaching in anyone's life........... Until now. Bada darawna dikhti hain. (Looks very scary).
Sona gets up to Dev and asks if he trusts her.
Dev says yes.
She says that then he shouldn't do anything. Whatever needs to be done, she will do. He should just support her. She asks if he will support her.
Ishwari passes from there just then and of course if two people are talking about anything, how can a Dikshit resist?
So she shamelessly eavesdrops.
Sona says that they will end this issue once and for all. Everything will be like before. She is with him.
Sonakshi holds Dev's hands.
Ishwari's face looks like someone told her that Dev is writing off his entire property in Sona's name and dumping his entire family on the street or she just found out that Soha is not immaculate conception.
Me: Sorry, isse jyada devastating kuch Ishwari ke liye soch nehin paa rahee hoon.
(Sorry, I am not being able to think of anything more devastating than this for Ishwari).
In bollywood movies, she'd have gone, Nehiiiiinnnnnn.... Yeh sunne se pehle main marr kyun nehin gayee.
(Noooooo... Why didn't I die before hearing this?)
Anyhoo, Ishwari leaves.
Me: Chalo. Bala tali.
(The black shadow is gone)
Sonakshi gets a phone call. It's Prakash, the hot inspector.
Dev asks what did he say.
Sonakshi says that he arranged for another meeting.
Dev offers to go. But Sona says that it's only for her to meet Khatri.
Me: Bhaiya, aise kartoot karoge, to naa dost dost rahega, aur naa pyaar pyaar rahegi. Samajh lo abhi bhi. Kisi ko bhi aap pe ittu saa bhi bharosa nehin hain.
(Bhaiya, if you pull this kind of stunts, then neither you will be left with friends nor with love. Understand while there is still time. No one trusts you even a little to behave like a matured person).
Dev says that she can't go alone to meet Khatri. This is about his Mummy.
Sona says that if he goes and Khatri says something, he will get angry and then he doesn't listen to anyone, not even her.
Bhaiya threatens some more: Look Sonakshi, if that man again speaks against my mummy....
Sonakshi: See? You got angry again, naa? This is why I want to go alone. You just said that you trust me. Then what happened to that?
Me: What trust? Behena, itne dino ke baad bhi aapko akal nehin aayee? Bhaiya ki baaton pe wapas depend kar liya? Aap hi ne to kahan tha, ki jab baat unki Mummy ki aati hain to kaun Sona aur kaheka trust. Khud hi bhool gayee yeh pearl of wisdom?
(What trust? You haven't learned your lesson even now? You are again relying on his words? Didn't you say that when it comes to his Mummy, then who Sona and what trust? You forgot your own pearl of wisdom?)
Anyhoo, Sona insists to go alone and asks to trust her. Bhaiya relents.
On the other hand, Maataji aayi Elena ke paas.
She says that she prayed to Elena too.
Me: Sure you did. You probably prayed for the Goddess to keep Elena dumb as always to never realise that her only value begins and ends with how she can be used by you all. Look, there you are again to use her again.
Ishwari says that she prayed for Elena, Vicky and Golu to always be together and gives her bribe. I mean prasad.
Elena thanks her. She also gives prasad for Vicky and Golu. But Elena asks her to give them herself along with her blessings.
Ishwari starts her lecture: This is the difference between men and women. Men think that the home is run by them, but actually it's women who manage home. Because we let them believe it. The truth is women keep the family together, takes care of the entire family, lives peacefully with the whole family - like you. I left my home in your care.
Elena is all smiles. Dumbhead.
Me: Aa gayee regressive queen ek aur dumb ladki ko path padane.
(There is the regressive queen to brainwash another dumb girl)
Actually Maata, men and women's brains are wired the same way when it comes to soft skills i.e. skills that you need to live harmoniously and maintain relationships. No one has to teach a man how to be a team player in a working environment or how to respect his peers. However, some women like you who wants to feel good about themselves claim that men who are capable of maintaining great relationships with friends and colleagues, can't do the same in their own family.
And there are dumb head like Elena who believes that considering she is a failed wife and a mother, your buttering her up is actually her praise and not indirect taunts to your nemesis, who by the way, managed to be successful and manage her very supportive and not generally jerkish family just fine. So the failure was actually on your family's part who doesn't deserve anyone's loyalty.
Ishwari says that even if a gardener is away from her garden, she doesn't stop worrying about the shrubs and trees. She too went away from her house for a while, but her worry didn't went.
Elena says that she knows.
Me: And we know too Maata, your obsessiveness. This is what you did in Temple? Think about what your son and her ex was up to? And you think you will get blessings from the almighty with that rotten heart and mind?
She asks her to remove a worry from her mind. She asks if anything happened behind her back that she doesn't know and she should know? She is only asking because she knows that Elena won't let anything wrong happen in the house.
Me: Depends on your definition of wrong. According to you everything related to Sonakshi is wrong. Didn't I say, it was a waste to do any favour to this chudail (witch)?
Elena says that nothing happened.
Ishwari asks if everything is the same between Dev and Sonakshi. When she is seeing them, she is sensing difference from before.
Elena says that there is nothing different between Dev and Sona. They are doing what is right for Soha.
Ishwari gives her tight lipped smile (a little more generous now): If you are saying it, then I believe you.
She leaves and Elena looks worried.
Me: First of all, let me just say, anyone who says that this is a fine example of mother must be nuts. Because no loving mother gets worried to see her son and his ex behaving cordially. She is behaving as if she saw them making out. When Dev was insulting and humiliating Sona, that was she preferred because she was getting vicarious thrill through Dev's treatment.
This is the kind of shit person she is.
And Elena, you should have stayed out of this. But because you interfered with Asha, now Ishwari will target you as well. So lady, you danced a lot on someone else's time. Now it's time to pay the piper.
She says that if Dev comes there and he can't control his temper, there will be problem again.
Prakash readily agrees with her. But he says that he won't be able to arrange this meeting again. So everything needs to get done today.
Sona comes in. Khatri as usual taunts her saying that what husband could not get done, the wife came to do except she is not his wife.
Sonakshi says that she came to ask him for help.
Khatri says why will he help her?
Sona says that he won't help her. But he will help himself, right?
Khatri is intrigued.
Sona tells him that she overheard that Dev and Prakash have arranged to get him killed. He says that he will make it into an accident case and close it.
Khatri looks scared.
Sona says that she doesn't want an elderly person to die. So she wants him to tell the truth to Dev. She doesn't want Dev to do something wrong and go to jail and Khatri doesn't want to die.
Khatri says how can he do it?
Sona says that if someone has money and power in this city, they can do anything.
Khatri says that if they find out the address, they can still kill him.
Sona says that he has to leave the city. She will give him money and will withdraw the case since she made this case.
Khatri agrees to give the address and take the money.
Sona writes a cheque and Khatri writes the address.
Me: I don't know why, but Khatri's fear looked fake to me. His fear never reached his eye. His eyes looked calm. Either this guy is a bad actor, or he is a very good actor and Khatri has some other plan in mind.
Dev, on the other hand, is pacing one end of the room to another and is constantly calling her.
Ishwari is sitting in her room with same constipated expression. Soha comes to Ishwari and asks her to play video games with her. Ishwari doesn't listen to her because she is thinking about Dev and Sona's lau scenes.
Me: I bet even Asha doesn't think about Dev and Sona's romantic moments as much as she does. Yep, uber creepy.
Ishwari says that she doesn't know how to play this. Soha asks which game she can play?
Me: Oh many games. Just ask your mother.
Ishwari says Snakes and Ladders.
Me: As in your mother is the ladder and she is the snake. And your father is the pawn. Every time your mother tries to drag your father out of the cesspool, this snakes drags him back in there.
Soha says that it's good that her father has come back before she came back.
Ishwari asks where did her father go?
Soha says that her father got sad and went away for two days and her mother promised to bring him back. Her mother never breaks her promise and she brought her dad back. Mamma is so cool, naa?
She runs to get the game.
Me: I don't think your grandmother thinks that your mother is cool from any angle. But innocent soul. So hold onto your innocence while you can.
Sona comes out of the police station and sees numerous missed calls from Bhaiya. She calls back Dev.
Before she can say anything, Bhaiya starts screaming: Why didn't you pick up the phone? Why Prakash didn't pick up the phone? She was with Khatri. Didn't she think he will get worried. Why didn't she call him.
Sonakshi shuts him up and tells him to listen to her. She tells him that she got the address of the family.
Dev: Are you serious? How did you do it?
Sona: I controlled my anger and made a deal with him. I gave him his freedom in exchange of the address.
Dev thanks her. He says that if his mother knew, she would have said the same thing.
Me: Nope, she won't. She will only say thank you if Sonakshi obliges her by dying in any preferable means giving Soha's entire custody to her.
Bhaiya turns around and Bijli khadi (the naked wire standing) behind him.
Maata asks Dev what he is hiding.
Bhaiya refuses to say anything.
Maata gives lecture. She asks him to say what he wants.
Bhaiya says that he knows that he can say anything to her.
Me: Nope you can't.
Bhaiya says that years ago he had made a mistake. He is trying to rectify it. But now everything is fine. Now there will only be happiness in their home. Now everything will be like before.
Me: Not while le chudail is residing, nope no chance. Jaise ki aapne bola kuch, aur Maata interpret kuch aur karegi. Guaranteed. Bolo lagi shart?
Bhaiya: Mummy, aa gale lag jaa. I lau you.
Ishwari is surprised, and not at all happy. She is shocked.
Me: Excuse me, let me get my puking bucket. I can't take her constipated face and evil mind anymore. Kitni kameeni hain. Sau kameene mare honge to yeh paida hui hoyegi.
(She is such a evil person. 100 evil person must have died for her to be born).
Khatri comes out and tells Sona that she is stupid. But she is not cunning. Rich people like her are stupid. He fooled her by giving her wrong address. But he got out anyway.
Sonakshi looked worried.
Me: Hain? CVs ne Sona ko murga banaya? Aisa kaise ho sakta hain? She is heroine no?
Dev comes there and Sona with a sad face gives him the news of Khatri making her into a fool.
Dev gets angry.
Sona tries to say something.
Dev says that she asked him to trust him but what happened? He should have come with her. Now they have nothing. Neither Khatri nor the address of the home. And all this happened because of her.
Me: Sure, Bhaiya. Everything happened because of her. Because of her you found out that your mother was a thief and because of the said theft, she ruined a family. She was also being blackmailed for so many years and by Khatri. You also found out that because this idiot wanted to do charity for ungrateful lot like you and your family.
Sahi kehte hain log. Bhalai karo, lekin har koi bhalai ke layak nehin hota. Aur Bhaiya aur unke Maiya to iske layak hain hi nehin.
(People are right when they say that do good, but only to those who deserves it. And Bhaiya and his Maiyaa don't deserve it).
He says that because of her, now that man is free. He didn't just defeated him, but he also hurt his mother's self-respect. Thanks to Sonakshi for helping him so much (said in a sarcastic tone).
Sonakshi keeps looking at him.
Me: Lo bolo. Chorni ka bhi aaj kal self-respect hota hain. Chori karte hue apna respect nehin khoya, lekin Khatri ke baaton se udd gaya. Ghor Kalyug.
(Listen to him. Even a thief has self-respect. She didn't lose her respect when stealing, but Khatri's taunt made her respect fly away.)
Aur Bhaiya ki to poocho hi mat. Dictionary mein ehsaan faramosh ka definition dhoondoge naa, to unka photo chipka hua milega.
(And don't even ask about Bhaiya. If you look for ungrateful ass in dictionary, his picture is right beside the word).
Sonakshi tries to say something else. But Bhaiya doesn't let her speak. He says that she said to trust her. What happened now?
He goes away.
Sonakshi is still standing.
Me: As I mentioned earlier, what trust? The trust that breaks in seconds, what value does it hold? Bhaiya's trust is like his promises, neither of them are worth anything.
Khatri is going somewhere and he thinks he is being followed and it's Jatin Bhaiya.
Me: Aa gaye Jatin Bhaiya... Yay!!! Aankhen taras gayee thi aap ke liye bhaiya. Why worry, when Bhaiya is here to make Khatri sorry. Asli hero enters.
(Our eyes got restless waiting for you. Why worry, when Bhaiya is here to make Khatri sorry. The real hero enters.)...
PRECAP: Sona and Jatin is talking on the phone. He informs her that he found out Khatri's home. Sona says that she needed to know his home.
Jatin asks how did she know that he will be lying?
Sona says that because he has cheated before and she can't trust on someone like him. She asks Jatin to keep an eye on Khatri.
Bhaiya overhears their talk from outside the door.
Me: Jo bharose ke layek hote hain, unpe hi bharosa kiya jaata hain. Aur Bhaiya aap bharose ke layak nehin ho.
Aap chahe kitna bhi Fried Chicken bano, lekin jab insaan ko kisi pe depend karna hota hain, to ghar ka healthy and tasty khana hi yaad aata hain.
Aur Jatin Bhaiya woh ghar ka khana hain jo naa mile, to insaan taras jaata hain.
(People who are worthy of trust, only they are trusted with important secrets. Bhaiya is may be Fried Chicken. But when you want to depend on nourishment, then you remember your healthy and tasty home cooking.
And Jatin is that home cooking, which if not available, people miss it like crazy)
No Rules!!! Yay!!!

No Rules!!! Yay!!!
waiting for todays update:)
ReplyDeleteUpdating... :D
DeleteUpdate done. :D
DeleteWow Tia good to see ur post. That other forum seems to be heavily based. I din see anything wrong in ur previous post.
Deletebang on tia ur title is apt and what u said was right pilgrimage jane se santh atma nahi banta when heart is filled with poison it won't even reach the almighty .
ReplyDeletedev tail won't become one too again he has trust issues .
i watched today's episode to see his real face today he is back as mamma boy forever snapped at sona yet again and jatin became her shadow yet again in precap dev is eave dropping sona shambles creator i want asha to see this and elena too
Thank you. Shailu. Yep. When in need, Bhaiya to don't need. Call the person who can complete the deed. As in Jatin Bhaiya. :D
DeleteOh god!!ish and her expressions i feel like vomiting everytime i see her:( its looks as if i am paying for my sins watching her ..oh god pls save us, have mercy on us.
ReplyDeleteI know, right? I felt like giving her a slap. Honestly, so many people die in the mountain, she couldn't have slipped there? But then, may be Devi Maata doesn't want this liability either.
Deleteomg tia awesome writing ya i couldn't stop laughing reading this bit--Actually Maata, men and women's brains are wired the same way when it comes to soft skills i.e. skills that you need to live harmoniously and maintain relationships. No one has to teach a man how to be a team player in a working environment or how to respect his peers. However, some women like you who wants to feel good about themselves claim that men who are capable of maintaining great relationships with friends and colleagues, can't do the same in their own family.
ReplyDeleteAnd there are dumb head like Elena who believes that considering she is a failed wife and a mother, your buttering her up is actually her praise and not indirect taunts to your nemesis, who by the way, managed to be successful and manage her very supportive and not generally jerkish family just fine. So the failure was actually on your family's part who doesn't deserve anyone's loyalty.
Thank you. :)
Deletetia i too think why sona is wasting her time for these losers a snake like ishwari can never change and doggy tailed dev never can be seedha never ever when will sona learn to mind her own business
ReplyDeleteYep. Ungrateful losers will always be the same. Dikshits are like vending machine. As long as you pay, they are very nice to you. The moment payment stops, they turn against you. Why bother with people like these?
DeleteHaha nice title.
ReplyDeleteIshwari was having that constipated Expression which conveyed how insecured she felt cause beta giving bhao to ex bahu. Gosh probably the first mil /who don't want her son to be with wifey. And her those poetic words Mali paudha bagicha WTF....Grr. Lady should touch Sonas feet when this khatri thing come out o mean that's the only thing that makes sense and then they can all b one big happy family and no ho ho ho. Yayyy.
Golu Mia but who cares.
Thank you. I know, right? But I doubt she will even be grateful to her. Instead, she might blame Sona for letting her son know her deed and make her look bad in his eyes. Ishwari always hated Sona's goodness. Don't expect anything different from her now.
DeleteOmg didn't think like that...Yeah who knows what way psycho amaas dimag khiskela Hai😑😑😑😑😑
DeleteYep. Maata ko reason thodi chahiye Behena ko gaali dene ke liye?
DeleteOh another thing..Sona made a huge mistake regarding khatri like she was going great, but shouldn't have bailed him out. Devs reaction (or overreaction) actually makes sense since they have nothing now.
ReplyDeleteMay be. But even if she did make a mistake, how long it takes for Dev to hire a PI to find Khatri and get him in with some bs case again? If I have to guess, not even 24 hours. However, even if Sona was made into a fool by Khatri, even then, it was not Sona's fault. If he had handled his turn with maturity, then Sona wouldn't have to step in. But he created a bigger issue due to his hot head. But turns out, it was Sona's plan all along. So again humble pie on Bhaiya's face. :D
DeleteBeg to differ...:) he thinks he trusts Sona. She had to beg him to trust her and then he rants about I trusted you and see what happened!
DeleteSo --- yes, no character growth and complete "stupidity" and immaturity as always in Dev.
Yep. You got a point. Apparently Bhaiya's thinking also lies to him. 🤣
DeleteArey tia see the tommy never fail to amaze us when did thief had self respect lol what nonsense script and dialogues to justify ishwari
ReplyDeleteYep. Chorni and self-respect. Aur bhi kuch sunna baaki reh gaya hain kya?
DeleteThis justification of character is what is going wrong with the show. Instead of justifying the characters and their mistakes of the makers had shown proper realisation and redemption through words and gestures i believe this show would have become a sort of cult classic. Like say the Pakistani show humsafar or zindagi gulzaar hai. The script has lost its consistency and tight nature. Lot has been compromised. This show could have been a landmark show but season two has turned into chaos.
DeleteHain naa? Yeh to wohi baat ho gayee ki sau chuhe khake billi haj ko chali. Uparwala aise logon ko maaf thodi karega?
DeleteAnd what i fear now is that the makers will make it look like Ishwari truly has misunderstood Sona all this time. That she thought Sona wanted to oust her from her son's life . That her intentions were not bad , she only wanted to protect her son. Its just that she went about it in the wrong way and ended up hurting him instead. I wouldnt be surprised if they show something like this . But it would truly be a first for Indian TV if they show her going into therapy.
DeleteTitle fits perfectly - maa beta dono kutte kee tail hai
ReplyDeleteYep. Aur kabhi nehin sudhrenge. Dono ki muh mein mithas, aur andar se khatas...
DeleteYes true that. I was really disappointed when dev told sona that his mothers self respect was going to suffer. It's like saying vijay mallaya is darling of India or something
DeleteHa ha... So true Kavi. I was laughing so hard that I had to take a pause to breathe. :D
Deleteexactly i was too laughing soo hard .that chorni and her self respect hahahhahahaa:D
DeleteHHahH Vijay malya darling of India 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
DeleteHa ha. My funny people are out of leash now. So bring them on. Ek aur hain, Donald Trump, darling of United States.
Delete"Come into my parlor" said the spider to the fly....
DeleteDev was asking for another chance?! Seriously --- SONA stay away. Theres sweetness out there in the form of Jatin!
Sona stay away? How? Then how will she attain her life goal to be super bahu. She might not want to be a wife. But she definitely wants to be a super bahu.
DeleteTrue, how can we forget, Sona is no one to Dev but is a bahu and all the relations and people of Dixit house are hers too...
DeleteAs usual a wonderful introduction and an excellent review. The only thing I am missing here is a like button. Some of the comments too are hilarious.
ReplyDeleteComing to the episode I remember a time when my kid was just 3 years old. He is my only child and i am single parent. My family kind of over compensated and spoiled him rotten. I realised this when I tried giving his old toy to a kid who had come to play with him from out neighbor hood. My son who had not touched that particular toy for a long time refused to let the other kid even touch it. I was embarrassed by his tantrum but I forced him to give it up. But that night I found that toy broken! My son had broken it. It was a selfish childish reaction. Even if I don't use it I won't let anyone use it too. He was prepared to break a thing he liked than allow anyone else to enjoy it. I took charge and stopped the tantrum throwing and spoiling bit and he eventually grew out of that phase.
Now why is this relevant here ishwari is behaving like my son she prefers to see dev broken unhappy but refuses to share him with sona who genuinely makes him into a happier person.
That's a very good example, Kavi. Yes, children are innocent. They don't understand the consequences of their action. But the same action when an adult does, they know why they are doing it and also the consequences of their action, so that same act becomes malicious. Ishwari is that kind of malicious person. She can't ever be happy because she only knows how to take away happiness. Thanks for the compliment. :)
DeleteWhat Ishwari has become is also a fault of Dev. For far too long he had been giving in to Ishwari's demands right of wrong doesn't matter. She can't tolerate anybody else becoming important in Dev's life not even her own daughters, then Sona is still an outsider by indian standards...akhir bahu to baharwali hoti hai na, sirf pota ya poti aapney hotey hain.
DeleteI agree. Ishwari's insecurity and her attitude largely lies with Dev. I had said it many times before that how a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law's relationship will pan out, largely depends on how the son behaves. Because both women love the man and want him to be happy and remain in their life. If the son makes it clear that he won't allow disrespect to any one of them by the other, then neither of them will risk losing the man they love by behaving improperly. I am speaking from my own experience. My husband made it clear that he won't allow either me or his mother to be disrespected. Now my mother-in-law is amazing so none of us had any issues. But even if she had been like Ishwari, my husband won't have stood silently and watch me being disrespected. He loves his mother, but he isn't his mother's puppet (as known as Mamma's boy).
DeleteI agree on that Tia, the husband is the common link between the two, while it's important for him to show how much he loves both of them, he should also be strict with both of them, and not keep oscillating between the two!
DeleteSuch kind of relationships with over attachement and over possessiveness are suffocating!
But you know I kind of understand Dev even if I don't condone his deeds, it's easy to play with his guilt and emotionally blackmail him when it comes to his mom, it's easy for us to say this is how you should have behaved, but what do we know about his emotional turmoil, it's something rooted deep down in his mind since childhood, something which was emphasised on for two decades, he needs help, professional help : a psychatrist!!!. I know he found in Sona a person who loved him a lot, and she was all what he wanted in life for himself, yet because of his past and his problem he lost her more than once, he took her for granted yes because he expected unconditional love from her forgetting that each person has a limit to what they can stand and it's not like he didn't want her to be happy, he really did but he couldn't make her happy, his weakness towards his mother always came in between! Basically he is a walking talking tragedy, something one of my friends told me about, when you are the reason for your own sadness because of something you can't deal with within you!! (A tragedy is a work where the main character is brought to ruin or suffers extreme sorrow, especially as a consequence of a tragic flaw, moral weakness)
Can we qualify his weakness (prone to guilt) with regards to his mother as a moral weakness, a tragic flaw?!!
JN
I agree with you about Dev to a certain extent. But no one expcected Dev to change overnight. Chalo season - 1 mein jo hua so hua. Its not easy to break out of the conditioning that you have had for years. 3 months ke marriage mein bechara kya ukhaad leta .. ( except for infertility - basic humanity bhi nahi dika paaye Dev aur Ishwari) . But even after 7years he has trouble accepting the fact that it was his bending over backwards to fulfil every wish of his mother that has destroyed his marriage. Dev has realized now that he has somehow failed to keep Sonakshi happy but where and how did that realization come about ? Is it only because he thinks he failed to stop her when she walked out ? Or is he able to identify and acknowledge the real issues ? Is he ready to acknowledge the part that his mother played in wrecking his married life ? The makers have failed in executing this. Except for a few scenes where he has blabbered about him being a failure we have got nothing. And even those scenes failed to make any impact because soon after one such scene he is back to blaming and bullying Sonakshi. Thats why I find it very hard to sympathize with Dev.
DeleteYes he really needs to know where things really went wrong. He needs to play back the various incidents that happened and put himself in Sona's place to really understand what she went through and where he failed her! He needs to stop taking things at face value and only think about his pain and try to think about her pain as well, what she really felt, only then there might be some progress in their relationship
DeleteJN
While I sometimes feel pity for Dev, but what I think his biggest weakness is his guilt. He just can't get over the fact that he is a human and hence he is subjected to human emotions and failures. He can't be everything to everyone all the time. He has to prioritize based on people's needs.
DeleteHis mother constantly uses his guilt to control him.
He uses the same guilt to justify his mother's actions.
If his family is unhappy, he blames himself despite them having access to everything that can make anyone extremely happy.
They just can't let go of the past and the moment he tries, Maata brings out the past and his guilt associated with it to whip him back in shape.
So does he deserve pity? Yes. However, he can't continue to be insensitive to everyone else and use his guilt as a weapon on others just like his mother uses it on him.
When he was a victim, I felt bad for him. But when he became the weapon his mother used against his wife, that's when I lost my pity.
Because a victim is only worthy of consideration as long as they are victim. By when they make others into a victim, they become accessory to a crime.
One more comment I loved kathris swag the way he said bye to sona. This man is a wonderful actor. And what is jatin part time driver part time jassoos and full time friend.
ReplyDeleteI know, right. I was thinking that he must be a bad actor to do such a bad acting of fear. But it turned out to be his trick. So he did a great job. Aur Jatin bhaiya ki to poocho hi mat. Bechare ko ghar ka kutta bana ke rakhha hain Sona ne. Apna ex to useless hain, is liye Jatin ko kisi ke bhi upar chod deti hain. Abey agar Bhaiya ki liability lene ka itna hi shaukh hain, to lo naa. Lekin Jatin Bhaiya ko koi khinchte ho in mein?
DeleteSona got fooled or was she playing some other trick with Katiri? Tired of her meddling.
ReplyDeleteFrom precap it seems that she has played a trick with Khatri. However, I don't know why she is still trying to do favour for Dev. Ok, he found out. Now let him handle or get ruined in the process. Who cares? But Sona wants to get junior Goddess position. Kya hua? Ulta gaali khani padi. Idiot ladki. Insaan dekh ke bhalai karni chahiye.
DeleteYAYY JATIN IS BACK i missed him soo much will watch only last few mins for him
ReplyDeleteJatin Bhaiya is back with a bang. :D
Deletei just want sonakshi to now tell bhayia to handle khatri himself as she doesnot want to get involved in his and matajis problems :)
ReplyDeletehe can happily go and do his maa bhajan all the time :
Yep. That's what any sane person would do. But does Sona appear sane to you?
Deletei dont know why but i am unable to hate sonakshi she was the only character who attracted me to this show and till now i am watching only for her
ReplyDeleteeven if she is being mahaan and stupid i cant help but see the fact that she is such a selfless person :(i dont know why people call devdikshit selfless what has he done to deserve her love .when ever i think of sonakshi and her life it makes me cry she was such a lively no nonsense carefree and chirpy girl and now what has dikshits done to her
I am on the same boat. The reason we can't hate her is because she is stupid, but not ungrateful and malicious. She is truly selfless. That's why. She never can look at her own good. That's why she gets hurt every time.
Deleteyup thats exactly what she is. she is not selfish or self centered like the dikshits :(
DeleteSo even after seven years there is no character growth? I hate that they ruined a good story and acting talent to cater to the new generation of trp aunties ... The twitter fan girls who fawn over "flawed but great human being" Dev.
ReplyDeleteYep. He says he trusts Sona. But his actions speaks otherwise.
DeleteNo character growth and really a sad waste of a great story --- of a more mature and responsible love that could have played out.
DeleteYep. Such a disappointing waste of such major talents.
DeleteBy the way your post is truly hilarious and a stress buster in these whole exam days :)you are bang on ..i really get to learn soo many things from u and the discussions going on here :)
ReplyDeleteOh how sweet of you. Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed my writing. :)
DeleteHI tia .this is tinker fairy :D
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for update .
LOL bhayya trust is like 2rs jo 2 din bhi nahi tikta, kahe ka "lou"
call me crazy Currently my fav character is issuewory only, just to see her weird creepy reverse oedipus complex XD. baki characters toh dull hain.
Iss show ne Ma bete ki relationship ki dhajiyya uda di .
I know, right? Kitna flimsy trust hain. Aur maze ki baat dekho. Bhaiya ne Sona ki trust baar baar toda, lekin phir bhi Behena ki trust ki ant nehin (except when it comes to his Mummy darling where Bhaiya becomes ghajini without any valid cause). Aur idhar Sona ne favour ki lines laga di aur phir bhi bhaiya ka trust unke promises ke tarah khokla.
DeleteJatin??? What when where didn't see him...But then I missed last 5 mins. What he was doing, let dev not start another ohhhhh don't line Maro on my (ex) wife natak. Now Mataji back I m expecting him to go full time psycho once again
ReplyDeleteArre, tab to tum ne asli hero miss kar diya. Sona ka saara plan tha jis mein usne Khatri ko phasaya. Aur jab kaam ki baat nikli, to trustworthy banda kaun? Jatin bhaiya aur kaun?
DeleteI missed him too, so many regrets! Lekin Chalo asli hero toh aa gaya na!
DeleteOk peeps. I am off to a movie date with my husband. Watching Guardian of the Galaxy 2 tonight. Will respond when I return. Until then enjoy.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I feel the show is heading towards the cliched glorification of the female lead, showing her as mahan, practical, sensible while the male lead is the hot headed impulsive, senseless, judgemental man who waits for the female lead to save him and his family and keeps repeating sorry/thank u without even doing anything to deserve it or deserve the title of hero.
ReplyDeleteI mean we know he used to get whatever he wanted when he really thought about it in a calm sensible way, he used private investigators many times to get information, he used his power even if in a wrong way to get Sona work for him, to create hurdles for Ritwick, I kind of liked the way he handled Rhea's fiancé, in this world you can't always use the straight way, there are people who should be handled with a certain degree of shrewdness, I even liked Dev's proactive approach in the beginning of the painful infertility track, though I know he should have told the truth to Sona, but I appreciated the fact that he wanted to spare her the pain and bear everything himslef even if he was going to make her go through treatment without her knowledge, it still made me appreciate his efforts but once his mom came into picture again, he stopped feeling his wife's pain, I mean what's more painful a woman who can never be a mother or one who can't be a grandmother!!!
Anyways I know I'm digressing here, I just wanted to say that whenever he really wanted, he was able to be proactive and get his work done, so yeh khatri kya cheez hai, but again to create drama they are again making him a bystander and maybe to please trp aunties, they show the female lead to the rescue. I like Sona's character, I know she is different from many tv heroines, her sensible approach to things (minus few times) is really nice but in a love story people need to relate to the male lead too!! I mean without redemption, without fruitful restrospection where the male lead really tries to ponder over things deeply instead of just his pain but where he did go wrong and why and him gathering the necessary strength and willigness to really change things, how can people relate to him?!, no matter how much he says sorry, or says he made mistakes it would be of no use!.
Flaws are ok, every human being has them, but people do learn from their mistakes, especially when they learn and experience the agony of losing what they most loved and Dev experienced all this, yet they still show him impulsive, judgemental and having trust issues! how can he ever win back his lady love! While we understand his love for his mother and appreciate it too, he needs to show some empathy towards Sona!! Indeed many times apart from his business skills I feel he really lacks experience in other fields of life, especially in relationships, he behaves like a baby!! from the days he said he doesn't know what love is! he is very shortsighted when it comes to trying to understand others, he mainly focuses on what he feels and takes things at face value!!!
I'm really trying to understand his character, while Sona is compeletely justified in whatever stance she has taken, I feel he is behaving like a child, a frustrated child! that's the only way I can explain his hurtful illogical words, I feel whatver he said during that separation night 7years ago he meant none of it, he doesn't believe a single word of what he said but since as usual he expected her to understand him, forgive him and stay by his side despite everything and she didn't do it this time, he had to blast out of frustration all kind of stupid unbelievable things to hide his hurt and pain!!
How much difficult it must be to deal with an emotionally immature person!! while he loves her deeply to the point of being able to go into self destruction for her, he doesn't take a stand for her when she really needs him! sad but true!!
Sorry for blabbering this much, I know my thoughts might have seemed scattered and all over the place but I'm really trying to explore whether there will be any growth in characters especially Dev's or not! while we can look at the show and characters from a psychological point of view and just try to analyse characters and their behaviors according to the experiences they had, we still want to see whether we will have a beautiful love story or not, I can bear with creatives if the story requires what they show but if they just do bakrafication of the male lead while the female lead is almost perfect for the sake of trps then that's sad especially giving the fact that the show was kind of realistic for a certain period of time! I mean when you love someone this much and know the pain of losing them, how come you do nothing to show them how much you love them, and don't want to lose them, I mean the least you can do is respect them, trust them, support them, but here Dev is ekdom boka and impossible !!
DeleteJN
No need to apologize for speaking your mind here, hun. This is an open platform. Yes, I think you are right. Dev had very coolly handled all his past problems. There is no need to show him to be an utter hot-headed moron. Another thing I am finding annoying is glorification of wrong deeds. Interfering in someone's business (as done by pretty much everyone) is not right, stealing is a crime, insults of anyone is a crime. Yet everything is being justified here. And who is Sonakshi to announce that she is staying one more week? She should have asked permission to stay from Dev or Ishwari. Whose does she think she is standing in?
Deleteyes seems interference is a common trait of most of characters on indian tv (lol) especially female leads given the fact that tellyland is dominated by women as opposite to bollywood land which is dominated by men!! While it's ok if Sona helps from time to time but I don't want her to turn into the typical super bahu, the episodes post shaadi were boring with all the saas bahu drama and Sona trying to become the perfect bahu, she could have spared herself a lot of pain had she listened to her husband back then and kept herself away from all the drama, but then she is Sona, and she is a tv heroine too she needs to help. Now she doesn't need to! and yes she doesn't need to be so good especially when misunderstood, but I understand she wants to help her daughter's dad, and despite everything she still loves him, so she is dil se majboor!!! I'm at least happy she is not a pativrata patni!!!
DeleteBy the way please ignore typos in my previous posts (it's "given" instead of "giving", the one I spotted in my second post lol)
And thank you for giving us this nice peaceful platform, I was a silent reader of your thread in IF, I watched the first 250+ episodes of the show at one go last month, so didn't feel annoyed much since I had the episodes and didn't have to wait for the happenings, I had a kind of global view of the good and bad things characters did since I watched in a short period of time so things were fresh in my memory, I used to think everytime I open your thread, once again a lot of bashing coming Dev's way LOOL( and yes he deserved a lot of it, on few things I had a different opinion), but still couldn't resist reading your posts LOOL but yes time is up for him to do something valuable for his love if creatives are meherban!! otherwise it will be another unbalanced love story where only one side is proving love!!!
Have a nice date, Enjoy!
JN
Thank you 😁. And you know what's the funniest thing? Sona wants to be a super bahu but she doesn't want to be a wife. How's that even a valid wish? 😂
DeleteIf she has focused more on being a wife instead of a super bahu, she could have maybe saved her marriage. She herself tells Dev that he only sees white and black, but the way she dealt with things during her shaadi was also white and black. She understood the motives of people around her (at least I'd like to think so, since she is the perceptive in the relationship) yet she forced things too much in her quest of winning the best bahu title, I know she wanted desperately to win Ishwari because we all know the fears she had after the first break up, but the problem is she didn't know how to do it (I know Ishwari too is such a drama queen and didn't make things easier either) Ishwari wanted to feel that there is some territory that is hers only hers but Sona wanted to learn everything know everything which made Ishwari's fears escalate (not that they were at a low level anyways). Sometimes when you can't change people around you and you really care for the relationship you need to find ways to make things run smoothly, that could have been an intelligent thing to do just the way it would have been if Dev also could fathom the root of the problem and was successful in finding a way to balance between his wife and his mother. But again in both cases (Dev's ya Sona's) that needs perceptiveness to know where lies the problem, intelligence to learn how to handle things and achieve the balance and more importantely willigness, afterall it's a choice whether you really want to make the necessary efforts even if things get really difficult at times to achieve that balance!
DeleteJN
I agree with you on that. But human nature is like that. We run trying to please the people who don't give a damn about us and forget to cherish the people who does.
DeleteI couldn't agree more with you guys. But this is what happens to every other TV show. They start with fresh story ideas and fresh characterizations that one could actually relate to . But once the show gets settled , they go back to the clichéd story line where the guy becomes a jerk and the girl takes it upon herself to reform him. And when shes not busy reforming him, she pokes her bloody nose into everybody 's issues. Sona, in a way is still a lot better than her counterparts on other shows. But she is slowly getting there .
DeleteSee I disagree that the responsibility for saving their pretty shitty marriage somehow falls on sona having to be a better wife. she wasnt great but she was better than her partner. and for men like dev being a good bahu is as important if not more than being a wife. even now, it was not sona's caring nature and being a solid mother to his child that made dev warm up to her but her nosy super bahu bs. you cant blame her for being a super bahu when that was always the expectation of the relationship. but unfortunately she only managed to fulfill one aspect of super bahu- getting ott involved in everybody's issues but could not silently tolerate receiving disrespect.
DeleteI never said the responsibility of saving the marriage was only hers, I just said that she could have handled things differently once she understood Ishwari's real insecurities if she did (since Sona is more perceptive usually) but seems Sona couldn't fathom the level of Ishwari's insecurities and she instead was trying to do everything she could to be the perfect bahu, Sona had all the good intentions in the world, she really wanted to succeed as a bahu and as a wife, she wanted to be part of this family, to see love and harmony uniting it, but alas, that's a dysfunctional family with some really serious issues, and yes one hand can't clap, Dev was responsible obviously for what happened, he had no bad intentions either but he couldn't live up to his promises, and many times when she needed his support he failed her unfortunately! So unless he really understands where he really went wrong, starts to think about what Sona really feels, what she went through and gets into action to make up fo it to her, there can never be any progress in their relationship!
DeleteJN
I agree with both of you. No relationship is one person's responsibility. However, Sonakshi needs to stop molly coddling Dev and demand him to take his share of responsibility. Dev has been never held accountable for his actions. And that was Sonakshi's fault. Where is his motive to carry his share of the burden? Sonakshi's quest to be the super bahu 7 years back I could understand. But why didn't she demand that in exchange for her taking care of his family, he needs to take care of hers. Sorry. Sending Diwali gifts doesn't count. It was Dev's responsibility establish Sonakshi's respect in his family. He didn't do it. That was his fault. Sonakshi put up with it. That was her fault. I would have not only hold him accountable for my respect but tell him that I won't tolerate it next time and strip down the respect of everyone who insults me next time. And it will be all his fault for not standing up for me. Rights are not free. You have to demand them.
DeleteExactly Tia, he is an adult, the owner of a very big company, just the way he is serious and accountable when it comes to his business, he should also be in his personal life, why does she always need to protect him. He needs to take his share of responsibility and I believe had she given ultimatums to him, and explained things in a firm strict way other than her lenient forgiving way, he would have felt the seriousness of situations! I mean everyone can emotionally blackmail him without any valid reason, at least if she does it will be for a fair and logical reason, and it won't even be emotional blackmail because when you are right it just means that you are defending yourself and your self respect. Her love made her so forgiving, she should have taken a stand for herself and by doing so she would have done Dev a favor as he would have also realised that he can't take her for granted. But yes sometimes I feel that no matter how much she explains Dev just don't get it, hence her needing to be extremely firm with him.
DeleteActually the other way also can work if she really bares her soul in front of him, if he can see the extent of the damage he caused her, how much she is broken and shattered too, if he really loves her then he is bound to do something, afterall isn't this way that Ishwari always succeeded in making him do what she wants woh bhi when she is just doing natak and not really being honest rather sometimes fake, at least here Sona would be genuine and honest!!
To be continued
(cont) So for me the only way that confession spoiler (sona's confession) can work is if she really makes him understand how much she suffered, the agony he made her go through by being oblivious of her pain and not supportive when she needed him most. We know at least about the original Dev, whenever he felt he was really wrong, he made it a point to fix it, all the incidents in the beginning of the show (Asha's birthday cake, Sona's broken rishta, her phone...) So here he really needs to fix things but for that he needs to understand fully what he did, in his confession the problem wasn't that he didn't say I love you as many times as he should or that he fought with her (a fight if it contributes to solve things is good actually) or that he didn't stop her when she left, the problem is he still didn't get the root of the problem, even if he stopped her from leaving if the problem isn't solved she would have gone through the same pain again, but yes I agree with one of his reasons but does he fully understand the incidents, he said that whenever I should have looked at you I turned my back to you getting upset with you instead, here yes he was so engrossed in trying to pacify his mom that he ignored his wife's pain to the point of being unfair to her! but does he get it!!! this is my question, sometimes I fully he really doesn't understand, he knows her hurted her, maybe he counted the eviction and telling her to get out and the harsh words he said but did he understand that him taking his mom"s side blindly without taking into consideration Sona's feelings, her family's feelings, Sona as a daughter too, Sona as the one who has the infertility problem and not his mom, did he ponder over these things!! I know he felt for her a lot in the beginning of the inferitlity problem, he didnt want her to get hurt but when his mom came nto picture again his focus got divided and at some point he started thinking only about his mom!
DeleteThe problem with Dev is he that he thinks as long as his intentions were good and he didn"t mean to hurt the other person especially Sona, they should forgive him, but he should also think of the impact of what he did even if unintentionally to others, the pain they feel, why does he think that only his mother's pain is big, what about others?!, just because he didnt live with them and see their struggle the way he saw his mom's doesn't mean they dont feel pain or they didn't face situations as much difficult as his mom's!!!
At times it becomes hard for me to understand him, while he is usually very prone to guilt with any person, even with this family who suffered because of his mother, I can't understand why he doesn't show enough remorse and try to mend things when it comes to Sona!!!
JN
JN wonderful analysis! This thread resonated with a lot of things that I have recently felt about Dev's character. At the beginning of S2, they showed some growth in his character in the sense that he recognised his mother for what she is...a flawed human being. But then after learning Soha's truth he somehow returned to square one? And now with this Khatri track she is somehow returning to Goddess status? I agree with you and Tia on the fact that Dev's character is regressing on multiple levels. Like you I also was hoping that after learning Khatri's truth...we would get to see the return of the grey Dev Dixit but somehow instead we see a new Baby blue Dixit.
DeleteSee I would never want Dev to disrespect his mother, I understand, we all love our mothers it's hard when it comes to them to become impartial, but all I wanted as you said is that he gets to understand her manipulations and faults too, her flaws as a human being, that won't change his love but he will deal with her in a different way, knowing very well who she is and what she is able of!
DeleteAll we wanted is Dev to be fair and stand by what is right. It would be fair enough for me if he stands by what is right even if that right is against his mother or his wife, that will make me respect him actually!
But as someone in this thread said (Bashinghater) Dev is maybe an emotionally abused child, so his guilt is heightened, he needs professional help seems just the way Ishwari too needs help!!
It becomes much easier to watch when you see them as flawed characters with psychological issues, while I miss the heroism I still can bear with CVs as long as the progress in story is naural and not forced (as in glorification of some charaters and bakrafication of some!)
JN
Tia ...As usual , well written ! I cudn help it but laugh by reading u'r " never saw bad time approaching someone physically " ha ha haaa
ReplyDeleteAarcha
Thank you, Aarcha. :)
DeleteTia, thank you for making the post. I missed it. Wait we all missed it :)).
ReplyDeleteKuch bhi kaho, maiyya ke aane se story mein dum aa gaya hai nahin. Sab ko hila ke rakh diya. Center of attraction back again. You guessed it right, Khatri was indeed planning something when he gave the address and he is infact a good actor.
Jatin wapas aa gaya...yay!! feel like dancing :).
Thanks hun. I know, right? Didn't I say that maiya aayegi to sab ka rang bahaar aayega? Lo aa gaya. Lol.
DeleteHi congrats on new blog and New world with no rules:).
ReplyDeleteWhen I was watching the episode, I felt like it should be titled Kuch constipated expressions of ishwari aise bhi. She always gives me creepy feeling with innocent face. A smiling villian kind of person. But there are so many real life ishwaris in world. How they evolve from sona to ishwari in the course of a lifetime never ceases to amaze me.
Its same kind of feeling watching a kind, hardworking employee become a megalomaniac boss once he or she gets power. After a game of chess, both queen and pawn goes back to same box so it is in life. So whats point of holding grudges or trying to prove on self important or powerful. Its only Maya:).
Maharathikarna
I know right !! I feel also its so wicked and real and that is the sad part.
DeleteCV land mein to sab Maya hain. I just hope that Maya was Beyhadh's Maaya. No one deserves a Bahu like Maaya than constipated Maata. Saari complaints bahar nikal jayegi. Lol...
DeleteCongrats on the new location ! Nice to see new faces
ReplyDeleteSo here's my own take on this post and the episode
You know when you are in trouble -- whom do you call ? The person you trust the most !! In this instance --- sona called jatin. Why?
1. She trusts him
2. He won't create drama and had she asked dev to follow --- he'd have messed it up. Discretion is not his forte
I feel sona at first started telling dev she had planned for both eventualities --- but it was also a test for Him after the confession ... which he FAILED
He didn't let her get a word in
Accused her for compromising his mom reputation ?? Really
What struck me was the sadness in her face --- she stood there and took it. The precap tells me she will give him the address, resolve this and say now you know why we can't be together
I think Devakshi is over ... where's there is no trust or respect -- how can there be love ?
If the guy can't be relied upon even for his own mom ka issue --- he's not worth it
Loved JAtIN !!!!
Anyafan
Precisely. That's what I was saying. Neither of them have any trust on each other. Kehne ko to bol lete hain ki sab se jyada trust hain. But when in need, they look for someone else to do the deed. To kahe ka trust? At least Sona ke paas valid reason hain due to Bhaiya's track record of screw ups. But what excuse Bhaiya has not to trust her over and over again?
DeleteIt is so strange --- I reviewed that precap - her face, that sadness was so palpable. And he --- I think is gonna realize he screwed up! Or so one hopes.
DeleteI just know what's the point in Bhaiya realising his screw ups. Because if he had learned from them, then there were some purpose served. But he never learns from his screw ups because he never had to work for his forgiveness. 99% of the time even sorry is not required. Then whether he realises his screw ups or not is kind of moot point, isn't it?
DeleteIf the future episodes unfold as you say "Sonakshi pointing out the lack of trust from dev time and again," it would be really commendable if the CVs went for unconventional way and choose not to reunite these 2, bcoz from where they are standing now, seeing them as a couple again is totally indigestible.
DeleteI am really hoping for an unconventional ending for this show. I don't want the show to end with Dev and Sona coming together because I don't think they can make a relationship work. So even if CVs end on a traditional happy ending, I will think that they will again break up in future.
DeleteCongratulations on your new blog, Tia!
ReplyDeleteBest part of today's episode was Elena being titled as a perfect bahu! like sure...some one who doesn't even take care of her own child has been bestowed with the prestigious title and praised for keeping the family together!! and of course, Ishwari's multiple times shocked expressions like she saw a ghost LOL... my poti my poti all the talks gone...and I was silly enough to think that she would give Dev some breathing space after she got her waris....
-Meghal( mellifluous in IF)
Wohi tho. She is ideal Bahu because she has adjusted to be an outsider and someone to be used at Dickshit's whim. Sona didn't. So she is not an ideal Bahu.
DeleteThe waris was initially meant to distract Sonas attention from Dev ... So ishwari could have Dev to herself. She only flips out about the waris when the kid is calling herself a Bose or is at the Bose house. When she is at ishwari Nivas, the waris loses her importance. Dev is never going to get respite from Ishwaris smothering unless he runs away himself.
DeleteBTW, didn't Dev also behaved like Mata. Initially he was like I want my daughter Soha, I can't stay away from her even for a minute and the moment she was at his house he is all out roaming and tracking Sona. Just like Mata, she was sad that Soha would leave and go back, but when she came to know of another week stay, she is in her own sad wala lala land. Soha who is she now attitude. She too has focused completely on Sona. If you see both mata and son have single obsession Sona, one wants to keep it, other wants to keep it away. Tug of war.
DeleteBhaiya is very much like his mother. Just observe their pattern of love.
DeleteJust learned how to add emojis. If you are using an Android device (tablet/phone) then the emoji option in your keyboard will work like it did for me. 😊

Yay tia...as promised visiting ur blog.. congratulations on your own space.
ReplyDeleteliked : khatri's acting skills. He seems like a veteran, slayed yesterday with his swag.
Disliked: do i even have to name it. Felt like giving someone a taste of his own medicine by punching him in his face.😈
Thank you. Welcome. Sorry, don't know who you are. But welcome.
DeleteYes, Khatri really surprised me today. However, I was not mad at Bhaiya today though. Even Sonakshi knows that when it comes to his mother, you can't trust him and he can't trust anybody. Thinking he will ever change is futility on Sona's part.
He is who he is no matter what he says. He will always be irrational when it comes to his Mummy.
Tjis is havima.. tia. Yet to get a hang of this space.
DeleteOh Havima. Welcome. :)
DeleteYou know another weird thought hit me as I read these posts: Love can be selfish, they say. But then can it be love?
ReplyDeleteThat confession --- you are so beautiful that I wanna keep looking at you; I love that you still surprise me, I am still a broken man - please put Humpty Dumpty back together again, I have all these regrets about ... a, b,c and d; I should have never let you go; I didn't come after you; I wanted you to feel as hurt as I did; I haven't recovered so come back to me and the all famous " BE MINE"....
See a pattern? And yet : "I love you --- as a man loves a woman" (and we swooned) and his "Be Mine" (so romantic) ---- and yet I ask
Is this really love?
The thing is that when someone uses I, ME, MY, MINE too much, that person only has one love - himself. Someone who truly loves, they say YOU, YOURS, FOR YOU...
DeleteTake any dialogue Bhaiya says and count the words I mentioned and you will realize how everything he says revolves around him and his wish.
A person who loves asks what is their lover's wish, they ask their experience, they want to be part of their pain, their struggle. They don't keep talking about themselves. Only narcissists do that like Ishwari who never thinks about anyone else's happiness but her own and Bhaiya who also puts his happiness on top of everyone else's.
So to answer your question, no. I don't believe that's true love. Because when you truly love someone, you think and talk about them, not about you.
Hi Tia ji.. First of all congratulations for your blog and thanks for the invite. I do not know what exactly happened with you in the forum, but sorry to hear that. Forum can sometimes be a tricky place to be in when you want to say something criticizing about the leads. So, those instances I just stay away. Hope nobody would mind here if I want to say something a little harsh on the characters sometimes.
ReplyDeleteAs for your update, the most funny part for me was "the bad time physically entering."
As for the episode, crap. What's the CVs plan?? Make Sonakshi save the mahaan ishwari dixit and then ishwari forgiving Sonakshi for snatching her lover, I'm sorry her son from her and accepting the doormat Sonakshi back in her life. Seriously?? It really pisses me high time when I see Sonakshi being so desperate to prove to dev and his mom she's still the same aagyakari bahu, serious bullshit. Trust me on Monday's episode dev will say sorry to Sonakshi for misunderstanding her and this stupid Sonakshi will definitely say "I would have reacted the same way, so no worries."
As for ishwari and dev, they both never miss a chance to stoop as low as possible in every single opportunity, both are made for each other. If ethically possible, I would just say get these 2 married and let Sonakshi be the other woman who was thrown out of their lives, end of show. Bcoz as rightly pointed out in your title these are 2 dog tails that can never be straightened.
Sorry for all venting out all my frustration here, but thanks for the platform.
Thank you and welcome to the thread. I was feeling very suffocated by funnily moral policing (which is against the rules actually) in the forum. When people start to value fictional characters over real people, then you know that you are in an unhealthy place. So I created this blog where anyone can say anything for any fictional character provided they are up for a healthy discussion.
DeleteI think your prediction for Monday will come true. Sonakshi is the idiot who is her own worse enemy. Even an idiot learns from their past hurt, but not her. She herself said that Bhaiya is and always will be irrational when it comes to his mother. If she could not tolerate that before, how will she tolerate that in the long run?
In real life, people with mother's like Ishwari either marry a docile and submissive woman, or never marry in their life or end up divorced. Because women like Ishwari wants to occupy 120% space in their son's life. Theirs is such an exclusive relationship that there is no room for anyone else, not even Dev's sisters. Then where would his wife fit in?
If you ask me, Dev should remain a bachelor until Ishwari dies. Because she won't let any woman live in peace.
Actually If you observe Ishwari, it does feel like Sona is the other women who has snatched or is trying to snatch her husband away. The way she calls Dev 100 times a day, expects a grown up son to tell her of each and everything happening in his life and her expressions clearly indicate the same. Ishwari ka ye baat baat pe ruthana aur phir Dev ka usey manana, totally weird and apparently this is a psychological problem and some have duly pointed it out in the past.
DeleteActually some people will fight tooth and nail to justify a fictional character, but they don't even realize that they are hurting so many real life people. The funny part is they are the first people to give you lectures on our moral codes. I think a blog like this was long overdue. Talk healthy, just let your frustration out if you don't like something about the show. Nice...
DeleteAs for characters like dev, I think it would be better if they don't marry at all even if no mother like ishwari, at least the current dev dixit types. These kinds of people need justification for everything, you have to prove your love to them in every single difficult situation. For me, marriage needs 2 people who can hold each other when one stumbles. It's just not fair that only has to always be strong, while the other gets away with the situation in the name of weakness. My main issue with these 2 has always been this, even before marriage and after marriage. Sonakshi has always needed to be the stronger one in their relationship, while dev always had the leeway claiming to be the weak one.
You wanna know something really funny? When I was watching yesterday's post, I was thinking that Ishwari wants to take the place of Dev's wife and Sonakshi wants to take the place of Dev's mother. Kuch Rang Eff-ed Up Relationships Ke Aise Bhi!!! Lol...
DeleteLOL....
DeleteCongrats Tia for your blog and invite. Really did not understand what was objectionable in your post. Your posts are always witty, sensible and logical. Even the analogies and personal experiences are relevant to the plot of the serial. As Sona is harassed by MIL in Dixit family despite being truthful, honest and sincere, such is your case Tia. You can treat IF as sasural and M as MIL and make forays! :D Haven't seen the episode yet but your update is superb! Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much, Jas. Welcome to the thread. :)
DeleteSaw the episode. So glad that Sona depended on Jatin. The dependable guy. He may not be fancy but Sona can trust him always unlike Dev. Ma-Beta deserves each other and Sona should just let them be. I really was having a laugh seeing Ishwari's constipated face when Dev was saying ILU to her! ;) She misunderstood the "happy days"! LOL
DeleteI know, right? So behena might say that she trusts Bhaiya. But no one trusts him when it comes to Maiya. Not even he himself trusts him. That's why it was so easy for Vicky to convince him that he threw Boses on the street because of his mother.
DeleteHi Tia
ReplyDeleteSo good to see you back with this post. Hilarious as usual.
Tinker wrote a rant on ML and FL. I agree with some points.
My guess is they are trying to show Dev has imbibed Sona's emotions and Sona has imbibed Dev's characteristics. They have changed personalities now. So, I kind of stopped expecting anything from Dev. He is sorry and knows the truth and so he is a changed man. He is kind of living the Sona he lost by his mistakes. This Sonakshi is new for him. We also see him saying to her she is just like old Dev.
Dev himself hates his older self, loved the older Sona and hence the change in personality. So much so that he is behaving totally like a child. He just wants Sona to take care of him and be pampered by her. Its his craving, like a 8yr old wants a lollipop and then is happy. If Sona comes back in his life, he will be the old Dev Dixit. Till, then got to bear with this man-child.
I was so happy to see the clean-shaved Jatin*blushing* The precap is long-awaited. The kind of trust and belief Jatin-Sona share makes me wonder if Dev-Sona ever can have it. Its something which you need more than love in a marriage. If only Sona was not in love with this man-child*sigh*.
Ishwari ka kya kehna. I stopped commenting on her character long back. I've seen so many Ishwaris around that its not worth commenting on her. She irritates the hell out of me. I dont like it at all when Dev or Sona is good to her. I dont find her deserving of anything. Sorry. Every mother,in her capacity, takes outmost care of her kids. Add to it the survival instinct of a human, Ishwari had no option other than fight it out herself. Now,imagine if she had 4 daughters, would she have fought the way she did. Nope. She fought bcoz she saw her son as a golden-egg-laying goose. I got no respect for such people, neither real nor reel. Dev-Sona can make her God and sing praises but I dont see anything extraordinary in her.
More than ppl like Mamiji, I feel angry on ppl like Ishwari who let help sustain the negativity of such people. The Elina-Ishwari scene was puke-worthy. So, Elina has no guts to do shipping infront of Ishwari and here she was praising her infront of Sona. Terrible girl.
Lastly Bhaiya ji ka trust is dependent on the outcome of what u r doing. U lose, he doesnt trust u, u win, he trusts you forever. His trust, love and promises are all conditional. I dont know how he is the hero.
I agree with all of your points, Gauri. I honestly don't see how love alone (if you ask me it seems more like obsession than true love) can make a relationship work without trust and respect.
DeleteNo one can continue to perform at their top level all the time. Human beings make mistakes. Had Bhaiya didn't eff up his opportunity and came crying to Behena to save him from his own moronic acts, then Behena won't have to jump in again.
But he did. He also promised to trust Behena. But of course when does he ever keep his promises?
Anyhoo, let's see on Monday what was Behena's plan. But one thing is clear by now that no matter what Ishwari does, she will always remain a Goddess and no matter what Sona does, it will never be enough for Bhaiya.
Who wants to be in such a toxic relationship and do such a thankless job for her whole life?
Hi, hope you won't mind if I commented something to you?? This is not an argument, just an opinion friend...
DeleteYou said they had exchanged characters. As far as Sonakshi, this may be right to an extent. As far as dev being like Sonakshi, she was never like the present dev, she was never impulsive nor doubtful. Even 7 years ago, she analyzed every situation, don't you think?? As for dev being a manchild, though he is a successful business-wise, he always needed someone to direct him in life, first his mother and then his wife. So I guess he was always a manchild.
Humm... You got a point. Yes, Sonakshi is somewhat like old Dev. But she is not impulsive decision taker or hot headed.
DeleteBhayya nahi sudrega....
ReplyDeleteJust imagine,. He was a bit toned down only because sonakshi did not give him that right by agreeing to get back together... if she had, this would be the scene where he would have said another "get out".
Just want sona to get that address and throw it in the face of mom- son and walk out if IN with soha..
They dont deserve her. Forget everyone else dev doesnt deserve her at all...
He can take care of his mother and her self respect and fake gyan ... botton line is she is a thief and dev is a gunda..
Loved the bottom line! :D
DeleteI totally agree, Lavanya. People don't change and these two can never change. They can just gloss over their personality with fake emotions and lofty Gyan for a while. That's all.
DeleteGlad to see 'no rules' Lol. Congo Tia. And I am glad that Jatin is back now... loved your analysis of precap (the only part I am concerned about.) Hehe
ReplyDeleteWill comment in detail later.
Ananya
Welcome, Ananya. Hey, guess what? I put no rules but I didn't have to teach people how to be respectful. That just proves that when you trust people to be rational and respectful, they are. You don't need to moral police and choke out their creativity and freedom of speech to make people behave decently.
DeleteThat's because we all are birds of the same feather. You always gave the good discussion vibe. Even here. That's why people, whether DevAkshi lovers or haters always came for a peaceful discussion.
DeleteLaughter is the best medicine and I got my dose for the day , all thanks to your review Tia . So Maiyya is back and her delusions have gone to a level which I didnt think was possible. And I have only Bhaiyya to blame for this . His silence and supposed emotional detachment has done nothing to change her thought process. She still considers herself to be the biggest victin in all this. Dev ki zindagi abaad ho ya barbaad , victime toh ek hi hai , Ishwari. And thats why I think you couldnt have picked a more apt title for the post.
ReplyDeleteMaiyya ka expression sach mein bada creepy tha, when Sonakshi called Dev inside. I literally ROFLd at your "never seen bad time phsyically approaching in anyone's life" comment . I must say Supriya's acting was ACE !
And forget about 'immaculate conception' , Ishwari thinks Soha was dropped from the sky with 'Dixit' family name branded on her. Sona ka toh uske saath duur duur ka connection nahi hai. If you have noticed the way Ishwari looks at Sonakshi , you would understand. Its like , when you are in the midst of a heated family discussion and your neighbour aunty suddenly pops in to borrow a cup sugar , you would be like ' what ? What is she doing here'. Bilkul aise hi dekthi hai woh Sona ko.
And its amazing how she buttered up Elena . Literally greased her palms with that 'prashad' , extracted information , praised her a bit so that she would be forthcoming with such information in future as well. Bhai wah !! kamaal ki aurat hai maiyya !
Mission Khatri ke baare mein toh , the less said , the better. Aakhir kab seekhegi Sonakshi ? Aree Ishwari ko bachane ke chakker mein woh jaan bhi dede , Maiyya will still run to a dhongi baba to exocise her bura saaya from Dev bhaiyya's life.
Thank you. Yes, Maiya and Bhaiya ki leela apram paar. I said it before that even if Ishwari just smile at Sona, Bhaiya starts singing Maiya's praises of her generosity. But even if Sonakshi kills herself for his family, it will never be enough. Nothing Sonakshi can do is ever enough because as always, Bhaiya takes her for granted as if she is obligated to do favours on his family. But that's not his fault. You have to keep your own dignity. If Sonakshi keeps getting kicked in the teeth and goes crawling to Bhaiya for more, what else can she expect? If she once and for all says to hell with him and his family and wash off her hands forever, Bhaiya won't dare ever take her for granted. That's why I said that do favours to those who deserve.
DeleteAnd one more thing , Bhaiyya cant tolerate Khatri calling his mothet a thief and wants to bash his face in. So by that logic , whose eye should Sona blacken for calling her father a thief?
ReplyDeleteSonaskhi should have atleast told him ' Choti si baat hai Dev'
Now that would be real Karma.
That's what I was saying. Bhaiya always had double standard when it comes to his family and others. And for him, Sonakshi has always been an outsider. Sonakshi should have punched Ishwari and Radha too or at least calmly say that if just speaking against his mother deserves thrashing, then what should she do to Ishwari, Radha and him for insulting her family? But the reason Sonakshi keeps getting insulted and ridiculed is because she doesn't keep her own respect or her family's respect. As far as she knows Dev threw her family on the street, but she is behaving as if that never happened. Then why would anyone respect her and her family? They have zero loyalty to each other except Bijoy and Dida.
DeleteAs long as Sonakshi will bend over backwards to fulfill all his wishes and his mother's, this ma-beta duo will always act the most righteous people in the universe and everyone on planet earth their slaves. As far as respect towards Sonakshi and her family, that's an enigma to them. She herself dint even bother to think about her own father's feelings when she extended her stay, then what respect would she or her family get from these people.
DeleteAgree completely Tia.
DeleteI sorely miss the 'Like' button. So many interesting comments here.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I am missing the like button too. :)
Deletetia i wish we had like button and did u read a new spoiler sona getting drunk and love expression to dev now if thats happening i will again quit watching
ReplyDeleteAaarrgghh... What? Oh spare me. 😖
DeleteYuck why do people have to loose their sense to confess something. Indian television the same since its inception. No scratch that dd gave us some real good shows. It's zee and star plus which has reduced it to this level
DeleteKavi, DD made a lot of progressive shows for its time. Remember Shanti, Swabhiman and even comedy like Dekh Bhai Dekh? They were awesome and such progressive shows even in the '90s.
DeleteHey Tia, I tried to find your post and couldn't find it last night. I knew you would be starting your own blog and wanted to find the link. Thank you for the PM.
ReplyDeleteSo I guess no coming back to the forum. A person should be true to himself and only change if he thinks it will help in developing his personality. So kudos to you for not staying in a place which wanted to change you for something so petty.
As for you write up, as always funny and stupendous. Sarcasm queen is back with a bang!!
Me: As in your mother is the ladder and she is the snake. And your father is the pawn. Every time your mother tries to drag your father out of the cesspool, this snakes drags him back in there.
This line perfectly sums up the narcissistic abuse Ishwari has been able to achieve all these years. This is why I blame Ishwari more than Dev. God, you are too good with words.
For Dev to get out of this abuse, he needs to share his past with Sonakshi which is the driving force for his guilt coz he needs a psychiatrist and Sonakshi can become one for the mother-son duo.
Thank you. I have never compromised on my integrity and self-respect and never bent in front of petty bullying. So I left. And then they had no power on my freedom of speech anymore.
DeleteNow I still have everyone for whom I wanted to talk to when I used to go to the forum except no muzzle on our thoughts. Lol. Win win I say.
You have nailed the analysis on Ishwari's narcissistic nature. Every single thing she makes about herself. It's always me, me, me.
If you don't mind me asking, have you studied psychology? Because I had noticed the psychological hold Ishwari had on Dev a long time ago but that's because human psychology is interesting to me and I read a lot of books on them. But usually those books are academic books which people don't read for pleasure.
Tia, good for you. Never compromise your morals and I have always admired your strong personality.
DeleteYes Tia, I have studied psychology as a minor in my bachelor's degree and I don't mind you asking it. I am not an expert but the psychology that I've studied can be applied on the show.
As for the abuse, it has reduced after Sonakshi's well deserved departure but not eliminated. You see emotionally abused children always blame themselves for their narcissistic parent's deeds. What did u see Dev doing on knowing about Ishwari's theft? To get rid of it completely, he needs to get rid of his guilt.
Lol, I also read such books for pleasure.
If you have time, please check this link.
http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4843142&TPN=3
I believe you should know about this.
mistakenly wrote well-deserved. I meant to say much needed
DeleteYes, I thought you might have such background. Your writing is very well-written with proper clinical terms. I agree. Dev's biggest weakness which is also the biggest hold Ishwari has on him is his guilt. She used it like shackles on his feet. And unfortunately he can't get out of it. The day he breaks out from this guilt complex, he will be able to become his own person.
DeleteLol. Even if I am not around, people are still arguing about me? Well, at least the conversation started and the biases are noticed. However, I don't give a damn. The mod and the people who used me for target practice became powerless the moment I stood up against them and went on my own. Now they can continue to rule their little Kingdom. I have formed my own democracy.
Did you read the mod's reply to this post? The funny thing was that she was referring herself to DT, the name I suggested. :P
DeleteThe mod did not say anything when you were targeted by someone (don't remember the name) and now they come in defense of Dev Dickshit. Double standards indeed.
I prefer this democracy than the so called democracy of the forum.
BTW, can I take the credit for suggesting you to write blogs. Please :'(.
Sure. Go ahead. Here we give credits where they are due. Lol. 😊
DeleteCredit taken then.
DeleteHi Tia
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your own blogspace and uncensored free thoughts.
Son's ki buddhi bhi doggy tail ki tarah hain. What is the desperation to be a typical interfering(Iam miss.goody two shoes) bahu. Stupid character graph by the CVs really.
This Device is the same guy who sarcastically insulted her saying"wonder what all you did to become successful in your business". Today he's talking about his Chor mata's self respect.
Is Sona mahaan or is she dumb?
Thanks for the update Tia :D LOLOL Sonakshi is the biggest idiot I have seen in Television since quite a long time :) Other shows heroes whole-heartedly apologize, prove their words in their actions for at least 3/4 times before breaking it again. But here :D She is in her own lala-land where Dev is the perfect human being on earth LOLOLOL. No wonder she calls trouble for herself.
ReplyDeleteThanks Guddi. Why would Dev apologize? He is forgiven even before he can reach S of sorry. There is no motive for Dev or Ishwari to modify their behaviour when everyone of their actions - good or bad get praised and/or forgiven. Where is the motive for self-improvement?
DeleteYou know guys, yesterday or day before yesterday I saw a news in Kolkata about a tortured bride - who wasn't allowed to meet her parents often, was undergoing immense mental torture for 6/7 months of her wedding and finally committed suicide.
ReplyDeleteAnd more surprising was the comments that people are blaming the parents of the girl more than the estranged husband from an arranged marriage. Rightfully so if you ask me. Because we have ignorant parents like that or Asha from this show who care more about Society's comments than the actually well-being of the girl, we have such incidents happening so often.
Bijoy Bose is the best take-away from this show for me. The more kick-ass parent like Baba we have around us, the less chances of DIL-tortured-at-in-laws incidents would happen ! :(
You are right... and indeed, in most cases, even if there is no "extreme" situation, how many parents don't even encourage their daughters to be brave enough to resist.
DeleteEven when the women are financially independent - theres not a lot of support from the parents saying it ok for you to stand up for yourself. Usually - its called "adjusting" and thats terrible. we as a culture don't teach and tell the guys to "adjust" -- do we?
Anyafan
I agree. If every daughter had a father like Bijoy, no one will dare mistreat women. But the women also have to learn to respect themselves and not bend over backwards every damn time.
DeleteAnya :D Hi great to see ya here man :D Yes... I totally agree, even for financially independent woman the world is not as cheesy as people make out to be.... In fact for them it's an added pressure to not give a chance to society to question your responsibilities and behaviour/attitude at home..... One way or the other, this constantly 'proving' oneself to be the best fitted DIL has always been a harsh reality for women..... And I strongly ask WHY ? Out of all relationships, why 'Daughter-In-Law' induces so much of pressure/tension around us ? Why cannot it be a normal relationship ? Like today we equate the word 'Politics' with 'Corruption' when it shouldn't be, similarly when we hear the word 'DIL', it comes with a loadshit of emotional pressure and struggle. Why ?
DeleteGirls are considered as more mature than boys. I am not going into this argument whether it's true or not. But if it's true, and despite having more maturity if a girl tells her parents about some problem at her in-laws place, why not understanding the gravity and seriousness of that situation ? The moment girls talk about their struggle, they become 'immature' and are asked to adjust better. Double standard at its best !
Sorry to barge in . But isn't that the norm in our socitey ? Strong people are always punished for being strong. Instead of encouraging the weakones to take inspiration from the strong ones , the strong ones are made to carry the burden of the weak ones.
Delete" You are strong , I know you will survive"
"You are so mature, I know you will be able to adjust " Uurrgh ! These statements irk me no end . And in our country women are put on a pedestal and celebrated for their patient and forgiving nature . Roughly translated ,compromise , adjust and forgive even if it kills you in the process.
You both made good points. What we have in our society is convenient modification of a twisted truth. I will give you an example.
DeleteWhen a man sheds tears, people tell them to "Be a man" as in be strong and tough. But when the same man after years of suppressed emotions, one day explodes, the same society call him a brute.
When they want a woman to conform, they tell a woman to behave "like a woman". But when the same woman wants to give up everything and just wants to escape, the same people say that she should be strong and endure.
My point is that ultimately, the only one who knows our own good is ourselves. So in my opinion, we are better off looking after our own good than someone else determining what is good for us because no one knows us better than ourselves.
Its a Saturday AM and I am having "KRPKAB withdrawal" symptoms... so here are the spoilers I see, the contradictions are hilarious:
ReplyDeletea) Video where Dev mimics Sona and gets caught of course -- looks kinda fun
b) Something re Ish being a block etc ---- nothing new. We could have told you that from her expressions
c) Dev gets upset that Sona asked Jatin to help
d) Sona gets drunk and fesses up
What I think will happen. They will argue --- and he will lose the argument leading to some childish behavior (a); ofcourse mata oh my mata will get upset; in the meantime our hero will find the family and maybe they will resolve the fight about it. And I am hoping to see Sona back in Bose territory soon. Poor woman!
Why do you call her Poor Woman ? I mean Sona ? From which angle ? When an educated, confident and no-nonsense girl like Sonakshi chooses to believe her own fairy tale prince in Dev rather than realizing the hard fact that he is NOT, why should we consider her poor ? I say she brought it up all by herself and she deserves all the tortures she is or will be going through.. This is what happens when one ignores a father like Baba and his wisdom over her stupid heart which leads nothing but heartbreak time and again.
DeleteAaarrrggghhh... Same situation on repeat. But then Sonakshi is the moron who escaped all this and yet wants a re-run of the same old Bahu torture session. There is no cure for stupidity.
Delete👍🏻 because there is no like button
DeleteAh I See ... :) I said poor woman because she has a few more days at DEV-il-ISH mansion to go pre Bose Nivas. :)
DeleteAnya :D Mark my words she aint gonna go back to Bose house ever. :P You wanna bet ? We can have some fun at the cost of Sona's stupidity :P What say :D
DeleteWhat making fun of Sona the queen? Who cares? Go ahead. Lol. Fictional characters are fair game. 😁
DeleteHey peeps, Just in case you are looking for Thursday's ramblings, I have updated Ulti Chaal in my blog. Check it out.
ReplyDeletehttps://tia0.blogspot.ca/2017/05/tias-thread-strategy.html?m=1
tia ur been missed in the forum by ur fans and some hater groups made a topic asking were are u ....suvika is talking against u ....hum ne uski band bajae hai ...i think she is the one who reported ur post because she is one who is jumping the most (my guess work )
ReplyDeleteLol, Shailu. She really is insignificant to me now if she is the one who was trigger happy with the report button. I remember she was one of the bunch to butter up Meenakshi. Funny how her posts are always written on a mocking tone. Yet her posts are never closed down or edited. But anyways, they can play their own games in their little world.
DeleteI have my own democracy now. So free thoughts, free speech and free ideas can flourish. 😁
wahi tho
Deletetia congrats to u ur blog is as hit than forum 151 comments can u believe it
ReplyDeletelage raho tia ...more power to u girl
Saw that. And posted this in the forum -
DeleteAnyways, the whole issue of Tia's cravings for Fried Chicken = bashing and calling Dev a Fried Chicken reminds me of all the lawyers in the world who, in order to rescue/save a criminal resorts to ignoring the actual meaning and go by the dictionary meaning blindly JUST to satisfy their agenda :) This is called intentional misinterpretation which have no cure .....
Let it go, ladies. It's not worth your time and effort to go against closed, biased minds. In fact, It's time for us to celebrate. Do you know in just two days we have 3045 views and 158 comments on this post alone plus 52 in my other posts.
DeleteThe reason I used to go to the forum was to talk to you guys and share my thoughts. I am still doing it and I am doing it without restraints now.
I have lost absolutely nothing and just gained more respect in my own eyes for not compromising my self-respect and integrity. I didn't let myself be silenced and I didn't take unfair treatment silently. It's our win ladies and gentlemen. And it's your win because now you also can breathe without looking over your shoulder.
Thank you everyone for supporting me and thank you for standing up for me. However, if you ask me, let it go.
ReplyDeleteBelieve me, I lost absolutely nothing.
The people I loved in the forum are still with me. The people who were interested in discussing anything and everything are still here.
Here, no one will tell you which show or movie or documentary or news you can or cannot share. No one will tell you to shut up for sharing your personal experiences. No one will disrespect you or tell you to muzzle your ideas.
All and every thoughts are open for discussion and conversation including what I write.
We will respect each other and support each other. And never ever bring each other down.
Let's make this a place which once Tagore dreamed for our country.
Where the mind is without fear and head is held high,
Where knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls
Where words come out from the depth of truth
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way
Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit
Where the mind is lead forward by thee
Into ever-widening thought and action
Into that heaven of freedom, my father, let my country awake.
So celebrate my dear friends. Now you can breathe, speak and enjoy your free thoughts unrestricted.
One of my favourite poem, Tia. Thanks.💖
Deletesaach kadwi hoti hai par rasta seedha---more power to u tia
ReplyDeleteThanks Shailu. You are right. You are either with truth or you aren't. I went to the forum to respond to a few PMs. And I saw that someone shared an article about a woman's plight with her mother-in-law and the post was closed because apparently it's not related to the show. What is then related to the show? Accolades on Bhaiya? Anyhoo. Let that go.
DeleteBy the way, I didn't mention, but feel free to invite anyone you like here if you want to. We like to discuss everything so all thoughts are welcome. 😀
Apparently, the article insinuated towards Ishwari's narcissism and manipulation which DT(Mnx referred herself this too) could not handle as her inner bhakt can not listen/read/hear/see/sense/smell/taste anything which the Goddess does not like.
DeleteSnort. It seems now nothing is relatable about this show is allowed unless one sings Ishwari and Bhaiya Bhajan. But cursing Radha, Vicky, Bijoy and Jatin are all acceptable. 🤣
Deletearey tia i need not mention ur blog already ur haters published it in the forum i bet they missed u more even mods do trust me thats why a newbie created a topic named "were is tia"they are stalking u already
DeleteLol. Ok. Everyone is welcome here. I don't keep grudges. This time I have the control and unlike some, I am never unfair even to those who disagree with me. 😊
Deletee lo mods gave some nonsense coverup saying the product name kf was used tia tu to famous huwa re kf se tume letter na ajaye
ReplyDeleteLol. I am sure KFC is happy for the free publicity since their market share is being swallowed by Popeye's chicken. 😂
Deletelol tia
Deletemods ka bang bajaya hum ne rote rote mods ne justification de dalli tia u read it to have a last laugh for the dam forum one last time
ReplyDeleteLol... I read it. So as per her, I should let her bully me in private and not expose her reality? She is the victim because I exposed her reality which even made other mod laugh along with a bunch of others?
DeleteWell, whatever. Now she can be victim of her own bullying then. I never wanted to be a victim of anyone.
wahi tho :))we won u made u won ...we might be out of that dam forum but u along with u we too became famous
Deletecongrats tia..see the comments reached 177

And now that you have a separate blog they are also giving you credit
ReplyDeleteThanks Kavi for taking your time to look out for me. I really appreciate it. 🤗
Deletetia lol ur fav mod ne .....rules chipkaya forum me fir se seems she got hurt with our accusation now whitewashing happening she is ishwari of that forum lollll
ReplyDeleteLet her control whoever is left. But dictatorship does not last forever. When opinions are muzzled, one day creativity become silenced. Then what is left to enjoy? She can impose rules there. But can't impose anything here. She tried to crush me under her power, I made her powerless in her own domain. Now she is locked there with her limited grandeur of power and I am free as a bird with the world as my stage. My grandmother who was a feminist, she used to say that bullies are never bigger than our fear. Once we conquer our fear, they lose their hold on us.
DeleteSo true ur are free bird with wide wings spread ur thread reached 199 comments that's a great achievement
DeleteThank you, Shailu. :)
Deletefandw- I am trying to post a comment here since the inception of this blog, for some reason it's not letting me do it. Hopefully it works this time. can anyone help me? Congratulations Tia on this endeavour.
ReplyDeleteIt worked. Welcome. :)
DeleteAnyone else unhappy with Jatin being given only Watson's role?
ReplyDeleteAnd LOL Tia.. Tumhe khojne ke liye toh wahan pe post bhi ban gaya!
Heck no. Jatin Bhaiya deserves better than being used as convenient police dog. Lol. So I heard.
