Tia's Thread - Finding Loopholes!!!

Before I discuss today's episode, I'd like to share an email that made me very happy and just made my day. I am hiding the name of the sender because I don't have her permission to share her information. But I am copy pasting the email here. 

Dear Interesting Lady from Canada.

Yes very guilty of having stalked you. I am ****, from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.  And i enjoy all your post. Am a bored old lady who shamelessly watches nonsense and spend hours reading nonsense too. And then I shake my head wisely , and tell my very tolerant husband how i worry for all the young girls who sound so very naive that i tremble for them. And as i tell him , i always name a few saving Graces, whose brilliance in response and attitude make me want to jump with glee. Ofcos i cant do that , Have weak knees , the serious kind , not the kind that goes weak for the likes of SRK and now Prabahas, {Yes my hearts still thumps faster when I see them} Talking about Saving Graces ,my dear, you top my list.Tell your husband that I think he is a lucky man.

You have stop writing ? but why ? your post is the only good thing about this show.!! Have not seen the show for the past 6 months , but have diligently read your thread.  I miss them . hence this long note.

When I started to write my posts, I was just rambling on my own. I didn’t realize that I had anything worthwhile to say that can make another person happy, inspired, encouraged or just plain entertained.

But as time continued on, I kept receiving letters filled with personal incidents, life stories, thank you notes etc. I started to realise that what you do, what you say, no matter how insignificant it may sound, makes a huge difference. Like little ripples in the water that touches other ripples and create a giant wave, each of us has something to give to the world, something to share with people, somehow make a difference, no matter how trivial it may sound.

I had said before that little things go long way. This is why I share my own personal experiences. Not in hope that someone might mimic my life and follow my way. No, not at all. I don't preach my way is the best way nor want to create a homogeneous path. I love diversity and I think that's what makes human race so incredible.

Every life, every person, every way is unique. I share my life stories in hope, that the people who read my rambling can understand that I am a person just like them, filled with quirks, flaws, annoying habits and all. But every day, I try hard to be the kind of person I can be proud of, that I can one day look back and not regret the decisions I took, that may be I may not know but someone somewhere laughed at my quirks or just got entertained because of me. 

If I could make even one person smile, one person re-evaluate their priorities, one person to get solace in their personal pain - I think I am more successful beyond my imagination and I have paid my dues for having been born in this beautiful world as a human being. 


Anyhoo, moving on to the topic of my choice today. 

I place a lot of value on words. Because I believe that when you give your words, you stake your reputation on it. So if you don't keep them, then your reputation suffers.

I guess you can say that I am one of those old fashioned person who never break her words. My husband is the same. He also keeps his words. But then, I hold him to it.

But that doesn't mean he doesn't sometimes try to find loopholes to get out of them. He doesn't get away from it because I don't let him bullshit out of them. But if he could, he would. 

What I find annoying is when people expect to be believed after they break their words. I don't understand that how that is even a valid expectations? If every words and promises are meant to be broken, then I will listen to what you say and assume you won't do it. That is a more likely outcome than believing otherwise. For example, if someone is always late, would you assume that they will be on time ever? Even you will start to add extra leeway because you know that they won't be showing up on the time they agreed on.

Dev never keeps his promises. Sonakshi just broke one. She broke the promise where she said that she won't leave him even if he leaves him which was a stupid promise if you ask me. Because that's the promise a stalker might make. Even if you don't want me to, I will still cling to you like a clingwrap. 

But Dev broke every one of his promises with one excuse or another. I mean not every promises can have an emergency attached to it. So that makes me wonder, what is the guaranty that even if he says all the right thing today and does all the right stuff, he still will not turn the moment he can? 

And if the trust is missing, what is left to build a life on?

So while some people pat their back on finding loopholes, we need to pause and think. If always outsmarting people and trying to apply loopholes is worth the reputation and trust we are losing? Will those same people believe us when we really need their help or want them to believe in us? 

EPISODE: The episode starts with Dev saying that he said too much, no?

Sona says: Yes. It's okay. That's what always happens. You do something and then say sorry with a puppy face.

Dev: So what? It was a mistake so I am saying sorry, no?

Sona: We are back where we started, no? It seems like my life is running on repeat mode. Thank God that Baba came and he asked us to come back or I don't know who else you would have gone on to convince that we are together.

Me: Haila!!! Bashing hater caught them right. So to clarify yesterday's last 10 minutes confusion, Sona thinks that Dev is going around convincing people that they are together. That's why she is fretting that other people are fretting. 

Ookay, that being said, Sona, my dear. It just now occurred to you that your life is on repeat mode? Have you been in coma until now? Darling, your mistakes and idiocy are also on repeat mode with the same person and in the same situation. So obviously your life will be on repeat since you learned nothing from your past experiences.

Bijoy is not your jailer who reminded you that the parole is up. If you had any sense, you would have stuck to your own schedule.

Sona: Can I say something? I hope you are not convincing the kids, specially Soha that we are together. If it happens, then your murder is guaranteed in my hand. 

Dev: Yes, one murder you have already done.

Sona: What?

Dev: Of your common sense. On top of it, you input your girl logic in everything.

Me: I agree with Bhaiya on this. Behena ka koi common sense nehin hain. Ek taraf Bhaiya ke liye apni family ko taang deti phirti hain aur doosri taraf kehti hain ki aise ideas usko kahan se aata hain? Abey aap se aata hain. Aur kisse aata hain?

(Behena has no common sense. On one side, she keeps shortchanging her family for Bro, and on other hand she wonders where does Bhaiya gets those ideas. It comes from you. Who else?)


Sona: Someone who made the same mistake twice, Dev Dixit, is raising his finger on female common sense. Nice.

Dev: Sonakshi?

Sona: Dev, out...

Dev is about to go, but then stopped: I won't go. This is my home.

Sona: Really? I will show you.

She pushes him out despite Bhaiya's protest and shuts the door.

Me: Nah, I don't get it. You know Behena, you have succeeded where CVs failed. You made me feel sorry for Bhaiya thanks to your hot and cold treatment. 

First, you go out of your way to save Maiya behind Bhaiya's back.

Then when Bhaiya thinks that you must feel something for him, you tell him that you don't and let's never talk about that.

Then you decide to extend your stay to make Maiya happy when everyone knows that she is not your best friend in the whole wide world and you are fine with that decision until your father has to forcefully remind you the arrangement you started.

Bhaiya thinks that you didn't want to go and you only decided on it to please your dad. So he gives you a helping hand by sharing a gossip on how everyone thinks you guys are together so you might as well be.

Then you again remind him of the first commitment he made after you saved Maata but before you tried to butter up Maata. 

See? I am getting confused. So obviously, Bhaiya can't figure out which promises are serious and which ones are bendable as per will. 

As it is keeping his words isn't his forte... So stop confusing everyone and take a road and stick to it. Stop flipping every other way any time it takes your fancy. Some of us got peace of mind to maintain. 


Anyhoo, at Bose house, Ronita questions Saurabh about his attitude.

Saurabh says that if she has come to give him lecture, then don't bother. This is between him and his dad.

Ronita says that if he was just talking to him, then she won't have said anything. But you were not talking, you were shouting. You have no right to talk rudely with him.

Saurabh: You weren't there. You don't know, Baba is how much...

Ronita: Concerned. He is just concerned for his children. May be his ways are different, but you will have to understand the motive behind it is to protect Sona di. If you have any problem with his point of view, then talk to him calmly and at the same time, try to understand his point of view.

Saurabh: Fine. I will try to understand his point of view. But if he behaves like Hitler next time, I will...

Ronita: Shut it. Tumi and Baba ekdom saman (You and Dad are totally identical).

Saurabh smiles: Yes.

Me: This totally reminded me of my husband and my argument. My husband and his Dad have kind of similar equation. His dad adores me like Bijoy adores Ronita but he is always on battleground with my husband. They both respect each other but they both are stubborn and loves to argue for no reason whatsoever, even though they each praise each other behind their back.

One time they argued solid one hour on who buys the best Toilet Paper. Nope, I am not making this shit up. That's my life. 

Dad argued about value vs. size as in the bigger the package, the more value it has and my husband being the engineer argued on multiplying the length and width to find total area and divide by the price to get the price per square inch while his nephew was playing hockey. You can imagine my expression while listening to them argue and trying to concentrate on the game at the same time.

I tried to tell them that it doesn't matter who buys the best toilet paper since they each buy them for their own home. So they each buy the best toilet paper suited to their needs. But my husband turned to me and said: When my dad and I argue, don't try to mediate. 

Then I looked at Mom (my husband's mother) incredulously, she asked me if I'd like to sit elsewhere with her? So we scooted to another corner and let them continue their argument. 

But Ronita has a point. My husband and his dad argue about everything. But never scream at each other. 

There is a difference between talking and shouting.

Unlike Ishwari whom Sona gave no cause for concern to think that she will ever hurt Dev (every time Dev and her hurt Sona, not the other way around), Bijoy had to watch Sona get hurt every time by Ishwari and Dev. So his concern is valid. 

How conveniently Saurabh forgot that when Radha tried to break his marriage by lying to Ronita's family, this same Hitler like Bijoy Bose went to the same house to fight for him. At that time, he didn't think he was Hitler for trying to interfere in his life.

Thank God for women like Ronita. Such an incredible person. Saurabh got way better end of the deal in this case.


At Dixit house, Soha comes from dance class. She hugs her dad.

Dev asks how was her dance class. She says that it was good. She learned a new dance. Dev praises her.

Golu comes there and Suhana asks why Golu didn't come. The teacher was asking about him.

Golu says to tell the teacher that he was dancing at home. 

Soha says that it's because you can't dance.

Golu complaints that she is laughing at me.

Dev tells Suhana that one should do what they want to do.

Suhana asks him how Golu will get points for summer class?

Dev: Soha, you don't know Golu Baba. He will have solution for this too.

Me: Yes, Soha. Don't worry about Golu. Aapke papa hain naa Golu ko nikamma banane ke liye. Aap khud kabil bano. Kyunki iss nikamme cousin ko aapko hi paalna hain. Bechare ki Mummy Daddy ko iski yaad to kabhi aati nehin. 

(Your dad is there naa to make Golu useless. You become successful because in future you will have to take care of useless Golu that your dad created. After all, his parents also don't give a damn about him)


Anyhoo, Sona comes there and asks Soha to pack her bags. Soha asks why.
Sona says that her grandfather came to take them, so they are going.

Soha says that Sona said that they can stay.

Sona says that yes she said it. But her grandfather is missing her. So they have to go.

Bhaiya is making sulking faces.

Soha says that she has promised Dadi that she will stay here with her.

Sona says that Dadi knows it. She has said that Soha will go fast and come fast (preferably without her mother not being too fast).

Golu says that it's already is the middle of the week. 

Sona says should she tell Dadu that she doesn't want to come? 

Soha says no. She is also missing him. But why can't they stay in one house? Then I will have time with everyone.

Bhaiya hugs Suhana in joy: Very good idea, Suhana. What say, Sonakshi?

Sona grits her teeth: That's why it's necessary to murder you.

Bhaiya moves away from his enthusiastic support to save himself from the mom glare women perfect the day they become mothers.

Me: That is what I was saying yesterday. If they all live under one roof, first of all either Bijoy will murder Ishwari or torture her with non-veg until she kills herself. Then Bhaiya will kill Bijoy.

Radha and Vicky will immediately grab Dev's property and scoot for greener pasture. Elena will scoot with them.

Then Suhana will again live with the same combination of family member that she was living with minus Bijoy whom no one cares about. 

So she might as well just pack her bags and stop listening to her dad's bakwas (stupid) ideas.

Soha goes to pack.

Sona also leaves.

Golu comes to the point. He wants Dev to sign on a Medical Leave letter so that he doesn't have to attend dance class.

Dev is super impressed: Golu Baba, your thinking is amazing. You think so smart.

Golu smugly mimics of blessing Dev.

Me: Aaj kal har koi bhaiya ko impress kar raha hain. Pehle Sonakshi apni common sense se aur ab Golu apne tricks se.

(These days everyone is impressing Bhaiya. First Sonakshi with her common sense and now Golu with his tricks)

At Bose house, Bijoy sits down. Asha tries to pacify him.

Bijoy: Enough Asha, I know what my children think about me. That I am controlling their life. But you tell me Asha, do you think I like doing this? I trust my children. No child is perfect, I know that. Shouldn't parent worry about their children? Isn't it a parents's duty to try to protect their children?You know how long it took for Saurabh to make his business successful. Our Sona's marriage broke up. As a single mother, she faced so many problem. Shouldn't I be scared as a father?

Asha: Bijoy, you are right at your place. But our children have grown up.

Bijoy: Asha, when children grow up, do parents lose their right to guide them? Who said that adults don't make mistakes? Didn't we make mistakes? Whatever Saurabh may say, but I won't let Sona go back to Dev. Even if that means she will be a single woman forever. She is my daughter and I have the right to protect her.

Asha cries silently.

Me: Today, my heart again broke for Bijoy. He gave Sona two chances already to prove that she and Dev can live together happily. That's one more than most parents give their children. How can Bijoy let Sona make the same mistake thrice?

Both times his daughter's heart broke because of the same man. How many of us can say that our parents will be fine with us being with a person who broke our heart and kicked us out of their life twice? 

The first choice was Sonakshi's. Bijoy happily accepted that.

The second choice was Sonakshi's which Asha wholeheartedly endorsed. Bijoy wasn't convinced but still let her be happy.

The third choice if Sonakshi wants to take again, of course she will have to choose between her father or her repeated mistakes. 

No father will allow this to happen on his watch. At least no loving father would. 

Asha may not like the idea of a single daughter, but she won't like a daughter going in circles of single, married, divorce in repetition either.  


Next morning Soha is ready. Sonakshi asks her to go and ask her dad if he is coming with them or on his own.

Soha goes to his room and sees her dad lying listlessly.

She asks what happened?

Dev says: Nothing.

Soha touches his forehead: You have fever. I will go call Mamma.

Dev tries to stop her. But Mamaji sees her and stops her. He asks why she is looking for Mamma.

Soha says that she doesn't need her Mamma, her father does. He has fever.

Mamaji checks and sees that Bhaiya has fever. 

While Mamaji is fretting over Bhaiya, Soha brings worry Maiyaa.

She comes with the expression we usually reserve for news of limb amputation.

Sonakshi is also there. 

Soha says that Papa has fever.

Ishwari asks what happened.

Bhaiya says that he doesn't know. He was fine until last night. But this morning he is not being able to move and he got fever.

Sonakshi giving him look as if saying are you frigging kidding me.

Me: And I am giving the same look. So Bhaiya, here's my take on this.

Golu says for you to fake medical reason for him to not attend dance class.

The way your face lit up, I knew there was some black dal going in there. 

And today, voila!!! You got fever.

Methinks thanks to the age old onion trick. 

And obviously Sonakshi thinks the same.


Soha announces that they will go nowhere. They will stay here and take care of her Papa.

Golu says that she was going to go to her Dadu. She can go. They will take care of BigCha.

Soha refuses to go anywhere.

Bhaiya smiles (looks more like Bingo look to me).

Mamaji agrees that Soha can't go. But Golu makes faces. 

Ishwari says that Soha's father is her pet. She won't let him go anywhere.

Sonakshi wants to call a doctor.

Bhaiya says that there is no need. Now Mummy is here. She will fix him up with her home remedies. Doctor will just give antibiotics. 

Sona says that he need not take medicine from the doctor. But the doctor should still check.

Ishwari agrees with her and asks her to call the doctor. 

Ishwari runs to make her Kada which supposedly had killed him the last time. But this time it must work wonders.

Soha asks Sona if they can stay here until Papa gets better?

Bhaiya gives Sonakshi smug look.

Sonakshi is looking at him in disbelief.

Me: Yep. Thank God, Bijoy ki hawa lagte hi dimaag ki ghanti to baji. Bhaiya ki nautanki kam se kam dikhai to de rahee hain. Kaun sa tez bukhar wala patient aise lucid conversation carry on karta hain? Last time to ek ice cream ne knock out kar diya tha.

(Thank God, because of Bijoy's presence your brain is working again. At least you can see through Bhaiya's drama. Which patient with high fever carries on lucid conversation? Last time, he got knocked out by one ice cream.


Soha says that she will talk to her Dadu and tell him that they can't come because her dad is sick. 

Sonakshi says that she is calling the doctor and he will check him.

She calls the doctor. 

Soha looks at Dev and they smile at each other. And Golu pouts.

Me: Nope. Still think this is drama. That smile is too smug and gotcha kind.


In the kitchen, Ishwari is fretting as if Dev is bleeding out and if the Kada doesn't reach him on time, he will die in minutes. 

Sonakshi thinks that Dev has drama to stay back and because of that her new girl crush is fretting.

So she goes to Ishwari and asks if she can help. Ishwari first starts to give the Kada cup. Then asks her to bring ice water.

Sonakshi feels bad for her new girl crush.

Me: No comment on Sona's stupidity. Moving on.


At Dev's room, everyone is standing by his bed.

The doctor examines Dev and says that he got fever due to stress. Otherwise, there doesn't seem to be any other reason. He says that it's good that she has kept the ice water there. He just needs rest.

Ishwari is not happy. that the Kada she didn't let Sonakshi bring didn't prove to be the miracle cure. But the doctor praised Sonakshi who brought the ice water. 

Me: I was kind of wondering why Ishwari first asked Sonakshi to bring Kada and then changed her mind and asked her to bring ice water. What difference does it make who brings what? Now the look Ishwari gave Sonakshi when he praised her for arranging ice water made it clear. She wanted to bring the cure that makes Bhaiya healthy. She thought it was Kada. Now turns out it was the ice water. Good God, such pettiness.

Anyhoo, so Bhaiya got fever due to stress. Achcha excuse hain. Aur kuch prove nehin hua, to stress pe blame daal do. Jab Sonakshi se break up hua, tab stress se bukhar nehin hua. Jab Mummy ki chori pata chali thi, tab stress se bukhar nehin aaya. Jab Khatri jail se bhaga, tab stress se bukhar nehin hua.

Lekin jaise hi Bose house jaane ki baat aayi, stress se bukhar aa gaya. 

Bechare stress pe kitna stress. 

Jab onion se bukhar aata hain, tab bhi yeh excuse badi kaam ki hain.

(That's a good excuse. When nothing can be proved, then stress it is. When he broke up with Sonakshi, he didn't get fever from stress. When he found out that his mother is a thief, he didn't get fever from stress. When Khatri ran away from jail, he didn't get fever from stress. 

Now when it's time to go back to Bijoy's house, he got fever from stress.

So much stress on stress.

When you get fever from onion under your arm, stress is a good excuse to use)

Anyhoo, the doctor asks him to not take stress. Ishwari and everyone leave with doctor except Sona and Soha.

Soha goes to get fresh ice water.

Dev tells Sona: Do you want to call another doctor? You thought I was lying. There is no need to make such sad face. Actually you were thinking in the right direction. My plan was to pretend to be sick so that I can stay here with my Mummy. And I also wanted you and Soha stay here too. But I really got sick. That proves that God is real. He listened to me and got me sick for real. 

He smiles.

Sona: That's not funny.

Dev: Yes, I know this is not funny. I want you and Soha to stay here. And we also have to solve Khatri's problem.

Sona: Had I been at my home, I could still solve Khatri's problem. I don't live in a separate planet. 

Dev: It's not a separate planet, but you have aliens there.

Sona gets angry: Dev?

Dev backtracks: Ok. I am joking. I know we can solve the problem being in different places too. I mean you can solve this problem elsewhere. But problem is not just Khatri. The problem is also me. You know that I get angry just hearing Khatri's name, then I react, then we have misunderstanding between us. So you will stay here so that there is no misunderstanding or fight. 

Sona: Why?

Dev: Because only you can take care of me...

Me: Awww... Cho chweet. Bhaiya hooked a baby sitter. Did you tell Mummy Bhaiya that you have appointed a baby sitter to keep an eye on you so that you don't go off the tangent?  

I am sorry. I am not finding this me, me, me song remotely romantic. 

Let's see here, so as per Bhaiya's logic, he wants them to stay in Ishwari mansion so that he can stay with his Mummy and Sonakshi can baby sit him so that he doesn't become someone else's problem.

Because if Sonakshi stays away, then while everything in her life can run normally, he still needs a keeper. 

Never mind the fact that Sonakshi might also want to be with her family. But that's not important because a. she doesn't give a damn about them and b. what anyone else wants doesn't count. Only Bhaiya's wish matters. 

Great.

And by the way, Bhaiya. I still think you are faking. Kya karen? Aap ka reputation hi aisa hain. (What to do, your reputation precedes you)


Sona is about to leave when Bhaiya says: You are here, naa? (Puppy face with added glow. Reminded me of Puss and Boots from Shrek right before he attacks)

She stammers that Soha has gone to get ice cubes. I will go check on her.

Bhaiya watches her going and smiles.


Downstairs, Soha and Golu are fighting over ice water. As in who gets to provide the miracle cure. Soha and Golu both wants to provide that. 

Golu says that her 7 days are over, why is she still here?

Soha says that she will stay where her parents are, stupid.

Sona comes there and asks why are they fighting.

Golu says that he got the ice cubes out of the fridge. Soha says that he got it out because she said so.

They start fighting again.

Sona tells them to take turns.

Now they both want to go first.

Sona gives them another solution that she will be referee so that there is no cheating.

But Golu wonders if Sona will support Soha's cheating (Me: Oh you mean, like Bigcha does for you? No honey, Soha and Sona don't cheat).

Sona sees Ishwari approaching. She appoints Ishwari as the referee.

Soha and Golu runs to her and asks her if she will be their referee.

Ishwari agrees. 

Sona smiles at her with expression: See? I did you another favour. Do you like me now?

Ishwari's expression: Do me another favour and eff off!!! 

Then she hurries away.

Me: I don't know why this girl is hellbent on reducing her respect to dust? I really don't. 


Sona gets a call from Jatin: Thank God, you called Jatin. I was waiting for your call.

Jatin: Thank you for asking me about my well being. After all I just broke into someone's home for you and stole some stuff. And here I am sending you a picture.

Sona: What? What did you get?

Jatin: Thank you so much for asking about my well being. 

Sona: I am sorry. You are okay naa?

Jatin: It's okay. I am fine. And you will be fine too after seeing the pictures.

Sona: I can't put you on speaker phone so can I check the pictures first?

Jatin: It's okay. You check the pictures. I am holding the call.

Sona checks the pictures. One of the pictures have Khatri and Ishwari with a family. There is a studio stamp on the corner.

She asks him to look for these people thinking this might be the family Ishwari used to work for.

Jatin says that it won't be easy.

Sona asks him to look into the studio where this picture was developed.

Jatin praises her that if she wasn't a nutritionist, she would have been a great detective.

She thinks of Dev saying the same to her.

Sona says thanks.

Jatin says that he will look into it.

Me: Tell me one thing. Who takes picture with their maids? No really. Enlighten me. They might take picture of the maid and their workers on their own. But have you ever seen any family standing in a family portrait with their maid and workers? Kuch bhi, haan CVs? Poora logic ki Dev-Ishwari kar di...

(Anything for drama, eh CVs? You did Dev-Ishwari to any logic)


Sonakshi sees Golu sulking. She asks where is he going? 

Golu said: Suhana cheated. When Ishwari went to get food, Suhana didn't let me do my turn. She did it all. When I said it to BigCha. He said that let her do it because she never did it before.

Sonakshi says sorry and she says that she will go scold Suhana.

Golu says that he doesn't want to do it anymore. So no need. Suhana was not there for so long, why is it his fault? This was his chance, no?

Sonakshi tries to say: But Golu....

Golu refuses to listen. He says that Suhana is bad girl and runs away.

Sonakshi comes in and sees Suhana taking care of Dev.

Sona: Soha, why did you take away Golu's chance?

Soha: But Papa said that he had been doing this for very long.

Sona: No Soha, that's wrong. Go tell sorry to Golu.

Soha: But Mamma...

Sona insists. So Soha leaves to say sorry.

Sona closes the door.

Dev: I know why you sent Soha out. Because you want to do it too.

Sona: Very funny. Your jokes have fever just like you. 

She sits down: I wanted to give you an update. Jatin found a picture from Khatri's home which had this family. (She shows him the family).

Dev asks how will that help? 

Sona tells him that the studio which developed the picture is in the outskirt of Delhi. She is going to find out if they know anything.

Dev says: Yes, let's go.

Sona: Where are you going? The doctor told you to rest.

Dev: No, I am fine. 

But he falls down.

Sona says that Jatin and her will handle this. He should rest.

Just then, Ishwari and Radha comes there and follow Dixit family's tradition of eavesdropping.

Dev says that nothing has happened to him. He was acting so that Sona and Soha don't go anywhere from here.

Ishwari is shocked.

Sona says that he is acting now. So just rest.

Here Radha tells Ishwari that did she hear that her Dev is again lying for that girl. He is still after her. He can't see that his mother is going up and down for him. He doesn't care about his mother.

2. If she doesn't, she can then prove to Dev that Sona is never coming back in his life and he should give up on Sonakshi. That way, either Dev will give up on Sona and she will be relieved without having to allow another woman or Dev will give up on Sona and agree for re-marriage and then she can allow a woman he doesn't really want hence, she still gets her son exclusively.
