Tia's Thread - Deal!!!

Since everyone is making deals these days, let's make a deal of our own.

So Bhaiya and Sonakshi, since you two decided to latch on to each other again, this deal is for you.

Bhaiya, you don't be a chauvinist douche, and I won't call you douchebag.

Sonakshi, you retain your personality and I won't call you a pathetic doormat.

Deal?

Granted, Bhaiya has zero motivation to improve since he got everything he wanted without improving an ounce and Sonakshi tends to lose her personality when she thinks she is in lau, but it was worth a try.

EPISODE: The episode starts with Sona walking to her home and thinking of their recent confession.

And Bhaiya is walking into his home thinking about Sona's proposal and says: This is not a dream. This is real. The reality of my life. This house will lit up just like before and become like it should have been. Again "Tumi tumi" will echo in this house and everyone will go on a diet.

Sona thinks: Mr. Obhodro, you went away from my life and everything changed. Now you came back in my life and everything changed again. I am so happy. I am only yours from now on.

Bhaiya sits down happy: Sonakshi will come back in this home again.

Me: Now, this was much better executed scenes. It had everything - emotions, sincere longings, expressions of love minus OTT.

I wish they had executed last week's scene like this one. I can identify the characters with this scene and this is much more relatable.

Anyhoo, Ishwari, Elena, Golu and Mamaji are watching Bhaiya so happy.

He says: Not only me, this house missed you a lot too, Miss Bose.

Then he thinks a bit and smiles: Welcome back, Mrs. Dixit.

Ishwari has tears in her eyes: Dev is looking so happy, no? Dev came back home. No. Dev really returned home.

Mamaji says: Dev not only got Sonakshi back but also got himself back. Did you see? This is your Dev. Whom we waited so long to see. And this is all because of that child.

Ishwari nods tearfully.

Golu says: Badi Dadi, BigCha used to be like this?

Ishwari and Elena nod.

Golu says: How long we will hide like this? I also want to go and be happy with BigCha.

Ishwari says: Yes, go.

Golu runs shouting: BigCha...

Bhaiya picks him up: Goluuuu....

And bends him and kisses him in happiness.

Ishwari is watching him so happy with tear-filled eyes.

Golu asks: BigCha, are you very happy?

Dev says: Yes, I am very happy.

Golu: Now ex BigChi will become BigChi naa?

Bhaiya says: Yes.

Ishwari says: Dev.

Bhaiya says: Maa.

He touches her feet.

Ishwari hugs him: Stay happy. Always stay happy. I am very happy. You have made me very happy.

Bhaiya: If you are happy, then why do you have tears in your eyes? Mamaji, make your little sister stop crying, scold her.

Mamaji: If I scold her, she will cry more. She cries when she is sad. But she also cries when she is happy.

He also wipes his tears.

Bhaiya: Mamaji, I asked you to make her stop crying, you are crying too.

Mamaji: Arre Bhai, I had no plan to cry. Because of this kachori...

Bhaiya: Arre Golu, our entire family are crybabies. Everyone is crying.

Golu nods.

Elena says: What can I say Bhai? My sister is coming back in this house after so many years. So I am not being able to control.

Bhaiya jokes: Oh. So sister is returning so you are so happy. No happiness for Bhai?

Elena: Of course I am...

Radha and Vicky are watching from upstairs like I have seen vultures watching baby cows.

Bhaiya says: Maa, now you will never cry. No one will be unhappy in this house. Everything will be just like before.

Ishwari: Not like before, Dev. Everything will be better than before.

Bhaiya says: Junior.

Golu salutes: Yes sir.

Bhaiya: Now you are in charge. You will take care of all my favourite ladies.

Golu says: Ok sir.

Bhaiya says: Mamaji, today celebration is must.

Mamaji agrees.

Me: Well done, CVs. This reminded me of first 150 episodes. - simple, relatable conversations and honest emotions. No tricks, no faking and zero OTT drama.

Just one question though. Bhaiya, if Golu is in charge of your favourite ladies, then what will you do? You know that he is only 8 years old, right? You gotta stop delegating tasks to kids. You are the adult, not them.

P.S. Golu is as usual adorable.

Anyhoo, Sonakshi comes in her home. Everything is dark.

Suddenly everyone screams: Surprise.

There is Welcome, Mrs. Dixit written on the wall.

Sonakshi sees the writing and smiles big: What is all this?

Saurabh laughs and says: Sona, you must be hungry, no?

Asha says: She must be hungry. After talking for so long, she must have empty stomach, no?

Sonakshi feels shy.

Ronita says: I will go get something to eat for Sona didi.

Saurabh runs to the kitchen.

Bijoy says: Maa, go fast. Otherwise they will eat everything.

Dida runs after Ronita and Saurabh leave.

Asha comes to Sona and hugs her. She says: So, what should I call you Miss Bose or...

Sonakshi excitedly says: Mrs. Dixit.

Bijoy is happy seeing Sonakshi so happy.

Asha: We knew that. But wanted to hear from you. Did you say what you wanted to say?

Sona says: I said everything. Whatever is in my heart, I said it all. And did you know, when I saying them, I realised that all these years, I had built walls around me which I broke today. I realised that along with Dev, I also wanted to hear myself. I realised one more thing. All these years I had so much pressure and baggage on me. But when I hugged him, all my baggage disappeared in a minute.

Asha smiles.

Sona says: But...

Asha and Bijoy say: But, what?

Sona says: But I am also scared. If what I did was right or wrong. I made myself strong in the past years. Am I making myself weak again?

Me: This is exactly what I had been saying. The reason Sonakshi is still confused because she didn't choose Dev out of her free will. Lies and manipulation got her here.

Had it been gradual realisation, she'd have time to come to term with the change and accept her feelings. This was too sudden.

Asha says: Love is not weakness. It's strength. Whatever you did, was absolutely right. You did nothing wrong.

She looks at Bijoy.

Me: Wrong. Love can be both strength and weakness. It all depends on what kind of love you are in. When love makes you do something against your nature, or against your morality, or against your will and you do it, it's a weakness.

But when love makes you strong, confident in yourself and your relationship and makes you a better person, it's strength.

So it's up to Sonakshi to make her love her strength and not her weakness.

Loving someone doesn't mean losing oneself. Loving someone means re-discovering your own various shades. That's the difference between a weakness and strength.

Bijoy says: Sona beta, I truly didn't know you love Dev so much. Today I see you and wonder, had you ever been so happy?

Bijoy looks at Asha: Dev Dixit has a lot of faults.

Asha rolls her eyes.

Bijoy smiles at Sona: But, he did what we couldn't do in eight years.

Sonakshi smiles.

Me: And this is how a great father is like. Bijoy is literally the father goal for all women. All he every asked for, all he ever wanted was his daughter to be happy. It doesn't matter who made her happy. But whoever brought smile to her face, treated her right, respected her, he loved that person.

He loved Dev when he saw that he treated his daughter well, hated him when he didn't.

Whatever his daughter said, he believed her. And even though he was still not convinced that Dev Dixit is the right man for her (Me: Me neither. Jury is still out on that), he is willing to give him another chance just to see his daughter happy.

This is who Bijoy Bose is. What an amazing father.

Ishwari is getting rid of things in the kitchen.

Radha asks: What are you doing? Why are you taking out all containers.

Ishwari says: You know how strict Sonakshi is about food. If she finds out that I eat all this, then she will sure start extracting bitter gourd juice for me. You know, naa? How she makes me diet? And you too start controlling yourself. Otherwise, she won't spare your taste buds either.

Radha mutters: The moment I say her name, my taste buds get ruined.

Ishwari asks: What did you say?

Radha says: You are concerned about bitter gourd juice and I am tensed for Dev. I keep thinking about Dev?

Ishwari asks: What happened to Dev?

Radha: Nothing happened yet, but what if it did? Last time how she took away Dev from us. Then Dev had become of Sonakshi's, not yours.

Ishwari says: Bhabhi, take this.

She extends a container.

Radha pulls but Ishwari doesn't let go.

Radha says: If you don't let go, how will I get it? Let it go.

Ishwari nods: That's it, Bhabhi. I understood that what do we have to do with the container? Because we don't need the container, we need what is within the container.

She hands over cookie (or whatever was in the jar) to Radha.

Ishwari: We can open the container and share what is within it. I understood, Bhabhi. The way I had clutched Dev so tight that he could neither belong to Sonakshi, nor he could belong to me. We both love him very much. But he also loves us both a lot. I won't repeat this mistake again. I won't try to win over Sonakshi, I won't try to change her and nor I will try to get Dev. I just don't want Dev, or Suhana. I want my family. And Sonakshi completes my family.

Radha is angry that Ishwari got enlightened. She says: Okay. But I won't let anyone throw the container of ghee (clarified butter).

She leaves. Ishwari smiles a little.

Me: Wow!!! Ishwari finally understood what I had been saying in season one. You don't play tug of war with a person. You stay within the boundary of your relationship and amicably share that person's spare time. A mother and wife should never try to take each other's place. Mother and wife perform separate functions in a person's life. The moment relationships start to cross their boundaries, is when problem starts to happen.

Ishwari is the true redemption story. I might not be sure of Bhaiya. But I am 100% sure of Ishwari being a great mother-in-law.

However, Ishwari, just a suggestion. You don't have to completely turn your life upside down. Sonakshi is not coming back as nutrition. But when she comes, if she wants to change something, be open minded about it and discuss if it's possible. That's all.

No woman wants to come to a house and wants to turn it upside down. All she wants is to be included in the discussion and feel comfortable enough to try to make her space. You don't need to piss off rest of the family by making them feel as if drill sergeant is on the way. Just make her feel welcome and part of the family. That's all.

Vicky comes to Radha room and slams the door. He starts to throw things.

Radha gets scared. She tries to calm Vicky. She is scared that someone will hear him and they they will get into trouble.

Vicky says that trouble is already here because of the Bangalan. Now she will dance on their head. And Dev keep on running after her 24/7.

Radha tries to shush him.

Vicky fumes. He says that Dev will give away everything on Sonakshi's name. Whatever they have, Dev will take away everything and give to Sonakshi.

Radha tries to calm him down and says whatever is done, is done. They should do something together.

Vicky says that they had played enough little games together. Now he will do a blast. Just keep watching. These two love birds are flying so high. The higher they fly, the harder they will fall. Before they take away everything from me, I will take away everything from them.

Radha is scared.

Me: That's why people say that don't raise snake as a pet. One day, it will bite the hand that enhanced its toxins. Radha, Vicky is now out of control and you will reap the results. I am really not at all sorry for you. Everyone pays for their crime.

But wait. May be here the plans are different. Everyone got a whitewash, so does it mean Radha and Vicky will also get away scot-free? Even Khatri was spared. It's only fair, right?

Bhaiya is trying to call Sonakshi and Sonakshi is trying to call Bhaiya. So both are getting busy signals.

Bhaiya tries once more, then says: She will call back.

Sonakshi also tries once more and says: He will call again.

Bhaiya just then calls again. She was about to call when the phone rings.

They both speak together: Were you busy?

Then they both speak again: Who were you talking to?

Then again both laugh and say: What is going on?

Then Sonakshi says: Okay. Now I will speak and you will listen.

Bhaiya says: I can listen to you all night.

Sonakshi says: Okay. Tomorrow morning we will have to do an important task.

Bhaiya: What?

Sonakshi tells him her plan and then says: Okay?

Bhaiya: You know, I was missing this. It will be fun. You are very good at all these.

Sonakshi: Okay okay. Don't praise too much.

Bhaiya: Why? Can't you digest?

Sonakshi: Come on time tomorrow, okay?

Bhaiya: If you say, I can come now.

Sonakshi: Shut up. See you tomorrow.

Bhaiya: Sonakshi?

Sonakshi: Dev, I love you.

Bhaiya: I love you too.

They say bye to each other and hang up the phone.

Bhaiya smiles.

Me: Interesting... What plan have they cook up?

Next day, Bhaiya and Sonakshi are in Nisha's house. Nisha's parents are glaring at them.

Sonakshi says: I want to say sorry to you. We have hurt you a lot. As parents, we know that this is a big deal for parents. That's why we are saying sorry.

Me: Bhaiya is in another gamcha print which is literally making my eyes cross. Who the eff is the fashion designer?

First they make Sonakshi wear '70s brocade curtain and now Bhaiya is in optical illusion.

Good Lord, my poor eyes. I paid a lot of money to get them fixed.

Bhaiya says: I am also very sorry. I am very ashamed of what I did. I never wanted to hurt Nisha. Actually, we ummm...

Nisha's mother says: Your sorry won't fix our reputation which got defamed because of you.

Nisha's father says: You have hurt our innocent daughter. If you wanted to get together, then...

Just then, Nisha stops her father: Papa...
Sonakshi and Dev stand up.

Nisha comes to Sona and say: People say, everything is fair in love and war. Sonakshi, you did right by going back to Dev. Actually, you two should be together. And I have no hard feelings for you two in my heart.

Me: Hell, no. CVs, stop sending wrong message to your audience. It's one thing to make Nisha forgive them. That's fine. But everything is NOT fair in love or war.

You don't stab in the back in war, you don't cut enemy's throat when they have already surrendered their weapons, you don't mistreat prisoners of the war if they are cooperating.

Just like that, you don't use other people to get love, you don't force your opinion or will or wish on the person you claim to love, and you definitely don't push them to take a decision they are not prepared to take or want to take in the name of love.

DECENCY and HONOUR must be applicable in all situations!!!

Sonakshi smiles: Thank you so much. If you were not there, then I would have never realised what was in my heart. Between us, you got...

Nisha feels awkward.

Actually, I want to tell you sorry and also thank you. Because for you, my family is complete. If I can ever do anything for you, please call me.

Nisha: It's okay. That's fine. I wish you both to be happy with your daughter.

Sonakshi thanks her again and hugs her.

Bhaiya smiles.

Me: I initially was happy that Sonakshi brought Bhaiya to say sorry to Nisha's parents.

But, this scene changed my mind.

Nisha showed grace today and Sona crass. Seriously? You thanked her for being a scapegoat in your lau story? How would you have felt Sonakshi if Dev had moved on after using your feelings and his new love came to you and thanked you for making her realise how much she loves Dev? You have become just like Bhaiya. You use people as if they are born to be your pawn.

Are you kidding me?

Why won't Bhaiya smile? Sona said sorry and took all the blame. He didn't have to say much. And he got absolved. LIKE ALWAYS. What's not be happy about? No one pointed out how he was using Nisha as a prop. So it was win win all around for him.

Asha is harassing Bijoy and whining in his ears: What is your problem in calling Dev? You have said yourself took your swear from Sona, naa. Then what is your problem?

Bijoy says: Arre I took away my swear from Sona. I had hardly swore that I will call Dev. You call him.

Asha continues her nagging: You call him, naa. What is your problem?

Bijoy: I have no problem. You call him.

Asha: If you have no problem, then pick up the phone and call him.

Bijoy: When do I ever call him? I mean have I ever called him before? You keep calling him. Am I stopping him from coming here? You call him fast or it will be late.

Asha: Look, he has returned in Sona's life. I want you to maintain a nice relationship with Dev. How long will you keep running?

Bijoy: Asha, where am I running? I am sitting right in front of you. When Dev comes, I will talk to him. There's hardly any issue there.

Asha: Bijoy, if you call him, will you become small? Please, this ego doesn't help anyone. Look, after so many years, everything is going well. Isn't it? Forget the past, naa. If you take one step towards Dev, I am sure he will take ten steps towards you. And I believe you two will very much enjoy each other's company.

Me: First of all, I had never seen more irritating wives than Asha.

Asha, did Bijoy force you to hate Dev when he hated him? Then why you are forcing him to love him?

You want to call, call. Stop forcing him to love Dev. He has done NOTHING to win his respect or love.

Sonakshi won Ishwari over because she had done a lot for her and Ishwari reciprocated. Had Sonakshi treated Ishwari like Dev treats Bijoy, I doubt anyone will blame Ishwari if she didn't like Sonakshi.

Secondly, you don't give a damn about the past and want to live in la la land, fine. Bijoy doesn't want to be all over Dev and he wants to see if he has indeed cleaned up his act before giving him the benefit of his doubt, that's fine too.

Everyone used to say that Bijoy imposes his decisions on others. But Asha, you are the one who forces your decision on every single person of your family. The difference is that Bijoy does everything straight and in your face and you are the velvet wrapped hammer.

Thirdly, no one can force someone to like each other. Nor they can force someone to hate each other. So the more you force, the fake things will become. But then you are the kind of woman who'd rather live in fake pleasantries than honest feelings.

Bijoy: Everyone enjoys my company.

Asha makes deadpan face: Yes, I enjoy it very much.

Bijoy glares at her.

Asha: If you remain so stuck up in relationship, then you won't have fun. If you try to get to know Dev, and try to understand him, then you will see his goodness too. This is the time for Dev and Sona to come closer. Please Bijoy, don't separate them.

Bijoy is upset.

Me: What the eff? Bijoy is not separating anyone. He gave Sonakshi a choice, she took it. He agreed to be polite to Dev. Now what? He is not going to fawn at his feet like you Asha. So shut the eff up. Let him have his own fun in his own way and you lick Dev's feet for taking your daughter off your hands. She is the worse wife I had ever seen in my life. In fact, both Radha and her have the same attitude towards their husbands. The only difference is that Radha tries to harm others and Asha thinks that whatever she does is always right.

And Asha, if you don't even enjoy Bijoy's company and the only time I had seen you showing any love for him is when he does what you tell him to do, why are you acting at your marriage?

Stop playing at marriage so that Bijoy can live peacefully with someone who truly wants to be with him and loves him for who he is and not when he does their bidding.

Mamaji is sitting at the dining table and Ishwari is doing something in the kitchen with JC.

Mamaji is wondering what is going on in the kitchen.

Radha asks that he always knows everything about Ishwari. So he must also know why Ishwari made them sit there.

Mamaji says that he doesn't know that. But he knows that her English is sick. So please let it go. Spare them.

Me: Yes, please. Spare us too. Do you know how difficult it is to translate your sick English to comprehensible English?

Ishwari brings food and asks Asha to try it.

Radha wonders what is all the food?

Ishawai says: This is soup. And that is watermelon and feta cheese salad. I made it.

Radha: What?

Mamaji: You are so happy to have your daughter-in-law home that you should feed us Radgulla and Jalebi. But you have put us on diet.

Ishwari: No, no. Bhaiya. How can I start you on a diet? But Sonakshi is coming naa. So I thought to make what she likes. That's why I tried this.

Mamaji: But will you tell me who taught you to make this salad?

Ishwari: Suhana did, Bhaiya. She found recipe on the internet and told me and I made exotic avocado soup. Strange names. You try this naa if this is alright.

Radha makes faces.

Mamaji: Hummm... I have understood. So you are experimenting on us, no?

Radha: Jiji, you can starve me all day. But I can't eat this.

Mamaji: I can't stay away either. I will eat and when Sonakshi comes, I will tell her to make this kind of salad for me.

Mamaji digs in. Radha glares at him. Ishwari smiles.

Me: Didn't I say Radha and Asha give same expression to their husbands for not doing what they want them to do? Hence proved.

But Ishwari, cool down lady. Like I said, there is no need to make everyone think that drill sergeant is on the way before Sonakshi even came in. Relax and wait. Your trick worked. Now enjoy the fruit of your labour. But your thoughtfulness is appreciated.

At least you are doing something. Your son doesn't do anything.

Bhaiya and Sona are in a car.

Bhaiya wants to hold Sonakshi's hand so touching gear, emergency brake except her hand.

Sonakshi notices his fidgeting.

She looks down and holds his hand which is on emergency brake.

She says: I propose and do this too?

Me: Yes. Now you will have to do everything. You have adopted an overgrown toddler, remember?

Bhaiya: There was a time when I didn't have to think before holding your hand, but today...

Sonakshi: What's the difference between then and now?

Bhaiya: I don't know. I am feeling like English movie's teenager.

Sonakshi smiles.

Me: No, Bhaiya. Teenagers of English films are way more matured than you.

But jokes apart, this awkwardness is because just like in season one, Sonakshi didn't know if Bhaiya would have come to her without Ishwari's approval, now Bhaiya doesn't know if Sonakshi would have chosen him without lies and manipulation.

Then Sonakshi wasn't confident about their relationship. Now Bhaiya isn't confident about their relationship.

This is why I had been saying that confidence comes from strong relationship and strong relationships are built on honesty.

Bhaiya: I don't know why I feel like I am meeting you for the first time. There was a time when I had right on you.

Sonakshi says: That right you got back again Dev. Because you have right on me and I have right on you.

Bhaiya smiles: Sonakshi, I was always yours, am yours and forever will remain yours.

Sonakshi smiles.

Me: So Bhaiya, should we assume that you had only whined and complained about your ex to the numerous girlfriend you had in the past 8 years and played board games in hotel rooms? Public wants to know.

However, when did you ever wait to have rights before exercising your rights? No really, how many times did you manhandle her in season two despite you having no right on her? Then how come suddenly you started to care about rights? What new drama is this?

Sonakshi asks: What happened? What are you thinking?

Bhaiya: It's so strange, no? I am sitting with you and thinking about you. In fact I am thinking about us.

Sonakshi: What?

Bhaiya: I am thinking that we have wasted so many years staying away from each other. The farther we had been away, the closer I want to come to you.

Sonakshi looks at him.

He holds her hand and brings it to his lips and looks at Sonakshi.

Sonakshi says: And I won't stop you.

Bhaiya: Never?

Sonakshi smiles and shakes her head.

Bhaiya kisses her hand.

They look at each other.

Me: Okay. So he is trying to be a gentleman. Chalo, diya brownie points. (So I'll give you brownie points). Use it wisely and don't misuse it.

PRECAP: Ishwari is sitting at Bose house.

She says: I have come to say something to you two.

Asha wonders: Is everything all right?

Ishwari holds Ronita's hand: You had said naa, Bhai saab, your Ronita is just like your daughter?

Bijoy smiles and nods.

Ishwari: I also want to take my daughter home. Please give my daughter back.

Bijoy looks angry.

Me: But he is joking, I know. This is exactly what he wanted to hear from Ishwari. He wanted Ishwari to call Sonakshi daughter which is what he even asked in their marriage. At that time Dadi bua and Radha taunted him and Ishwari stayed silent. Today he knows that he has nothing to worry from Ishwari. She has accepted and realised Sonakshi's value and called her daughter, not daughter-in-law.

If I understand Bijoy Bose, he will say yes.

NO RULES!!! YAY!!!

  1. Hey Tia...missed your posts in forum then I get to know about your blog..

Asusual amazing post.. Ishwari's change is getting better day by day... Hope Dev also take stand for Sonakshi and support her throughout the thick and thins unlike last time
I loved the car scene especially Dev's hesitance in holding Sona's hand this symbolises that he is still scared that he will hurt sona until and unless he has this fear he will try to be a man of his woman.. I wish this happens coz I don't want to see the same cycle of dev taking sona granted

    1. Hey Gowri, welcome to my blog. I am also glad that he is being careful this time and giving Sonakshi space to come to him on her own. Sonakshi needs to feel comfortable after all the manipulations she had gone through.

I don't know if Bhaiya will stand by Sonakshi. But at least Ishwari will and as we all know whatever his mother does, he leans on the same direction. Sonakshi just has to make sure to keep Ishwari on her side. When you choose a puppet, you have to keep the puppet master happy.

  2. Bijoy Bose is one of the best onscreen fathers ever....Adha is crap. Sona and Dev were rather ok today....no ott drama like last week...what's with devds voice......as if he's reeling from hangover

    1. Agreed. Bijoy is father goals. Asha gets on my nerves. I liked the slow transformation without unnecessary OTT drama like last week. I was literally gritting my teeth last week. Shaheer looks and sounds exhausted. Even his words are slurring. He needs rest.

  3. Hi Tia....today I thot krpkab had a re-birth literally. I'm too trying to forget...LOL...tryin to have a re-incarnation as a krpkab audience

Epi was ok. Dont know if Shaheer was tired or what, but Dev appeared not so happy...something amiss.
Thank you and Sorry to Nisha was ok till Sonakshi gushed about their love etc etc. Ideally Dev shud hav said Sorry.

As u rightly say Dev gets everything without even trying. So when Sona says that she is still afraid of her decision..I agree here. Not sure why Men never have to do a thing in the show and only show off their looks...or possessive/aggressive behavior.

BIjoy is clearly father goals for any woman. Ishwari is turning out to be quite good as well.

I can only hope Sonakshi retains her strength and sticks to her job, instead of meddling in unnecessary family OTT. But I guess thats not gonna happen...so ATB to me.

    1. Gauri, I am in the same boat. Since these two are together, might as well start clean. Although if they give me ropes, I am definitely going to hang them when it.

I agree with you. Dev was more at fault than Sona. He was the one leading Nisha on. But Sonakshi as usual became an idiot in love and said sorry for something she didn't do. She did not force Dev to agree for marriage, she did not ask Dev to lead Nisha on and hurry on for engagement, she didn't tell Dev to lie to Nisha.

But as usual, when Sonakshi is angry with Bhaiya, all faults are his. When she is in Lau, he has zero fault. Just like Asha. When Bijoy does what she says, he is the best husband and father. When he doesn't do what she says, he is devil re-incarnate whom she is tolerating.

Anyhoo, in Nisha's case, the sorry should have come from Dev. However, I don't expect him to ever admit his mistakes since he doesn't have to. Where's the motivation? Everyone else apologizes on his behalf. Nisha's mother was right. They got insulted and Bhaiya did drama by storming out on engagement night.

I doubt Sonakshi will stop her meddling though. She just can't help herself.

    2. Yep, Nikki Ria r coming soon. Sonakshi is going to meddle. Its ok if the outcome is we get Nikki Ria back.
So, it means more ppl in IN means drama shifts to Dixit household.

I'm only getting dreams of Vicky throwing Dev-Sona-Ish-Soha out of IN and makes him bankrupt. They end up with the Boses and stay there...we can have some really good scenes...but then again, it'll be in my dreams....LOL

    3. Ooohhh yes. I want that as well. I want Vicky to chuck out everyone so that they can move in with the Boses.

I'm so happy to read your post as it cane across most sensible :)

Finally the essence of KRPKAB is back !! And ishwari gradual change and her accepting her faults is a nice thing to see :)

I totally loved bijoy he has always been real and true to himself .. But Asha phew !!

The car scene was really subtle and the way they showed Dev's hesitation its good That he is realising where he needs to improve :)

    1. Thanks Neeraja. Yep, Asha is annoying as hell. I just can't tolerate this woman anymore. One time she was my favourite character.

But Bijoy is my most favourite character of all time. I don't mind his cribbing because he is not malicious or dishonest. He is honest at all times and everything he does is to protect his family. But his family always take him for granted.

I was absolutely pissed off at Asha for pushing Bijoy.

The car scene was what I wanted to see before manipulation and lies. I wanted the realizations to come slow and in a more comfortable scale. Oh well, I guess they will do everything backwards.

  5. Ok. Let me get this out of system. Bhai is a fav of Mata, golu, Soha and Sona. All these people dote on him. And I am willing to wager, can do anything to keep his highness happy. But peeps this is fiction. In real life you do get love, but not with out hard work. Bhai ki tarah free mein kuch nai milta.

    1. Precisely. But in TV Land, Bhaiya always gets away scot free. Not only that even his victims (Nisha) wish him best of luck for using her and her family as pawns. Great!!!

  6. Overall I liked the episode. Bijoy is awesome. I am glad he remained firm that Dev has his faults and while He would not choose him for Sonakshi, he will still love him if his daughter is happy because of him

    1. I had always said that Bijoy is all about Sonakshi's happiness which every parents' should be. He was under the impression, thanks to Sonakshi's lies that she has no feelings for Bhaiya and so he wanted Bhaiya to move on so that Sonakshi can also move on. But when he realized that his daughter's weakness is Bhaiya, he gave in. That's why I said, there are weak love and strong love. What Bhaiya has for Sonakshi is strong love because Sonakshi makes him a better person. What Sonakshi has for Bhaiya is weak love because Bhaiya makes her weak.

  7. Me: So Bhaiya, should we assume that you had only whined and complained about your ex to the numerous girlfriend you had in the past 8 years and played board games in hotel rooms? Public wants to know.

    --> I want to know...ROFLing

If Bhaiya is not angry on Sonakshi, he is a true blue checkered gentleman...whoa!!!
Otherwise, he is a Roadside Romeo, sorry Hotelside Romeo.

    Dual personality...LOL

I actually liked the hesitation scene. One of the beauty of krpkab. Confession done. But now it'll be slowly they'll get back in the groove...its never a one day thingy.

    1. Lol. Me too. I liked the hesitation too. Bhaiya should take it slow because the confession was rushed in before Sonakshi was ready. If he again rushes into marriage, they will end up making the same mistake as they did in season one. Better to find out before again tying the knot if the had grown any compatibility in the past 8 years.

  8. Beautiful post Tia and a sensible episode after last weeks' OTT episodes! I just loved your Me part about Love. "When love makes you do something against your nature, or against your morality, or against your will and you do it, it's a weakness. But when love makes you strong, confident in yourself and your relationship and makes you a better person, it's strength." This is absolute truth.

Sonakshi's love makes Dev a better person. She made Dev say half-hearted sorry to Nisha! ;) I am waiting to see how Dev's love makes Sona wiser and stronger! I am also kinda Bijoy(:D), till I see some proof that Dev has done really something substantial for Sona, then I'll believe in Dev's goodness. Bijoy remains the doting and protective father to Sona. It requires strength of character to admit what he admitted that Dev could do what her parents could not do in last 7 years. Kudos to Bijoy.

Car scene was nice. I am glad that Dev is not taking Sona granted.

    1. Thanks. I agree, Sonakshi's love makes Dev strong and until now Dev's love just made Sonakshi weak. I have not yet seen when Dev's love had been her strength. Mainly because he has never stood by her the way Sonakshi stood by him in every problem.

Honestly Jas, Bijoy is THE father goal for me. What an exemplary man. I also wish Bhaiya had won him over. But considering Bhaiya had to do literally nothing to get anything he wants, who pays the cow after drinking the milk? I don't think Bhaiya will do anything to win over Bijoy specifically. However, he is the kind of man whom you can win over by making his family happy and treating them right. So all he has to do is to make Sonakshi happy.

And yes, only a real man with pure heart can admit so honestly achievement of even someone he does not like and give credits where they are due. That is the difference of a real man and a boy.

  9. Oh.. with this Dev s tryst with random women...is shoved under the carpet. How I wish someone would show up and tell..is bache Ka baap Dev hai. DNA test ke liye ready ho jao Dev Dixit. Kya karenge prem ke panchi... he has been philandering and roughed up Sona till she didn't acknowledge him...jerk

    1. I definitely want that point clarified. I want that claim to happen so that he can either worry that the other claim might be true or totally refute the claim saying that that's not possible because he never slept with anyone. Either way, I don't want CVs to turn a blind eye just because he is a man.
