Tia's Thread - Twisted!!!
Today
I have an announcement and a request.
My husband and I have planned a couple of vacations and we will be away those days. So I need you guys to open the thread for the others.
Don't worry. I don't expect any of you to write identical posts to mine. You all have an opinion. Just write whatever you write on the comments and let people have a healthy discussion. I will give you author's access as soon as you tell me who are willing to open the thread.
One person doesn't need to do them all either. You all can pick which days you can open the thread.
If I don't get anyone to open the thread, then you will either have to discuss your opinion on previous threads or just have to have the discussion somewhere else because there will be no thread.
I may or may not have access to Internet while travelling except when I am back in the hotel.
The days we will be away are listed below,
1. Kelowna Trip Family Visit:
Thursday, Aug 3rd - Monday, Aug 7th
Total - 3 days (Thursday, Friday and Monday)
2. UK trip to Scotland and London:
Wednesday, Aug 23rd - Saturday, Sep 9th
Total - 13 days (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of the first week and then two more weeks of total 10 days)
Please put your name in the comment section and the dates you are available so that everyone knows who will open the thread on which days. Then PM me in our FB page your email address to get author's access here.
If I don't get anyone to open the thread, I will open a blank thread and you guys can continue your discussion on that blank thread for the duration I am away.
Thank you.

EPISODE: The episode starts with Asha pacing on the street because Sonakshi is late.
Bijoy tells her to relax. He says: This is not the first time Sona is late. She will come back from work.
Asha says: You very well know that today is not a normal day. It's different.
Bijoy: I know today is different. Because today Dev Dixit called me and I, very nicely, told him to go meet Sona at work. Do you know, why?
Asha: Because you don't have a heart. You have a stone there.
Me: Wait a minute. I hate to butt in here. But Asha, weren't that you who were smiling when Elena was describing how much Sona was hurt? So should I assume that you have a black hole where a heart is supposed to be? At least Bijoy has a stone.
Bijoy: Wrong. I have dreams of my daughter's golden future in my heart which I will definitely fulfil. She was not able to move on. She was tied. Now that Dev took this decision, she can also move on.
Asha: The way you want your daughter to go, she will only get pain in that road.
Me: Well, Asha. You had a chance to give your daughter correct advice when you advised her to get married to Dev in spite of his lack of any personal effort. We all know how it turned out. So safe to say that you gave bad advice which ruined your daughter's life. Now why not keep your opinion to yourself? When someone only helped ruin her daughter's life, all this righteousness doesn't suit them.
Bijoy: She has already suffered too much because of Dixits.
Asha: And she will suffer even more in the future, because of you.
Bijoy: I understand Asha. When people with wrong intention doesn't get their way, they get hurt. Admit that you have lost.
Asha: Wrong intention? My intentions are wrong? Bijoy, you go. I don't want to talk to you.
Bijoy: I also don't want to talk to you.
He starts to walk away.
Asha calls him: Where are you going?
Bijoy: Now who talked?
Then he walks away.
Asha gets exasperated: I don't understand who should I talk to. Whatever I did until now, everything turned sideways. God, what do you want? Whom should I talk to? Ishwariji. I will have to talk to Ishwariji.
She leaves.
Me: Asha, the thing is that you are very eager to tell Bijoy where he is wrong. But you can't hear where you are wrong. Had Bijoy started to make you compare the no. of advice you gave vs. their success rate with the no. of prediction he made vs. their consequences, you will have to keep your mouth shut for the rest of your life.
You know very well that you were playing games. Your intention was to get your daughter married anyway, anyhow. That's the wrong intention.
Any mother's intention would have been to make her daughter happy. Sonakshi has made it clear that she doesn't want to get married. Yet, you are forcing her into a relationship because Ishwari and Dev decided that Bhaiya needs a wifey.
That doesn't stop you from joining in manipulation and enjoying your daughter being hurt.
What kind of intention would you call it? I won't certainly call that a good intention.
At Dixit house, Radha is instructing people to prepare for engagement party. Asha comes there.
Radha asks why is she there today? Dev's engagement is tomorrow. May be she came to help them.
Asha says that she came to meet Ishwari.
Radha wonders why she wants to meet Ishwari one day before Dev's engagement?
Asha requests to meet Ishwari again.
Vicky comes taunting that he feels bad to see her coming there over and over because of Suhana and Sonakshi. But she won't have any trouble from tomorrow. It's Dev's engagement. So everything will change after tomorrow.
Radha taunts her to keep coming back. The door of their house is open for just anybody.
Radha insists on feeding her sweets.
Asha refuses sweets. But Radha keeps forcing.
Then Ishwari comes there.
She says that if she doesn't want to have sweets, then she should not force Asha.
Vicky says that his mother was sharing their happiness. But Asha didn't like their happiness.
Ishwari says that she came to meet her. She will take care of her.
Then she takes Asha to her room.
Radha wonders what is going on that they can't do it in front of them.
Vicky tells her to chill. It's only for a day.
Me: I am disappointed. I wish Radha and Vicky increased their taunting game some more. I am sorry. I am a stickler for justice. I need the scale balanced at all times. People who are jerks to others, I need them to be jerked around. Otherwise it makes me mad.
In Ishwari's room, she begs for forgiveness from Asha. She says that it's all her fault. She started all this. She didn't know that it will go this far. She should have talked to the kids directly. Now what will happen to their kids?
Me: Yep. I am glad you learned your lesson. Straight talk is always the only way to sort our misunderstandings and heartache. But oops. Too late. You should have paid attention to my advice before running with this.
Asha says that it's not her fault at all. She just wanted good for them. There is a difference in people's planning and God's decision.
Me: No, Asha. This is not her fault for manipulating or your fault for aiding in the plan or Sona's fault for jumping into the plan or Bhaiya's fault for turning the plan in a different direction.
It's all Bijoy's fault. Because someone gotta be blamed. Since he is a convenient scapegoat, then why not him? You all want him to drop dead anyway.
Asha: May be Bijoy is right. They are not made for each other.
Ishwari: No no. Don't say this. I still have hope. How is Sonakshi?
Asha: She is very upset. She is not talking to us. She is keeping herself busy. When she wants to avoid something, this is what she does.
Ishwari: You mean she is hurting by seeing all this, right? Then why is she not saying anything? And why is Dev making this idiocy? Why did he got ready to marry someone else?
Just then Soha comes and says: Papa is not getting married again, Dadi.
Golu is with her.
Ishwari says: Suhana, I am sorry.
Soha says: Don't cry, Dadi. I know, Papa is doing all this deliberately.
Ishwari and Asha are surprised.
Ishwari: What?
Golu says: Yes, Badi Dadi. Suhana is telling the truth.
Soha: Papa told me not to say it to anyone. But I am telling you this secret because I can't see you two cry.
Golu: Me neither.
Ishwari: What? What are you two saying?
Golu: Yes. BigCha was acting.
Soha: So that Mamma realise that she loves Papa.
Asha smiles: Shotti?
Soha: Papa said it to me. That's why he is doing all this.
Ishwari and Asha are happy.
Me: Asha, remember what Bijoy spoke about wrong intention? Yes, this is the proof.
Let's see here.
You came to know that your soon-to-be son-in-law is playing with another girl and her family's feelings and reputation so that he can get your daughter. And you are happy.
That's what Bijoy meant.
I wonder what kind of heart you got Asha if you are happy to watch the man you want to entrust your daughter with, doesn't think twice before playing with a family and their happiness?
What does it make you and Ishwari?
Soha and Golu are children. They don't understand.
But you and Ishwari? Don't you have daughters? What if someone had lead them on only to get back to their ex, breaking their hearts? How would you feel?
Shame on you both for pretending to be mothers. Mothers can't be this unfeeling and conniving. Now if Nisha gets her heart broken, you two will also be responsible for that.
If TV land had Karma, your children can never be happy together after ruining someone's happiness for their own.
When Dev agreed to marry Natasha, he wasn't in love.
When Sona agreed to marry Ritwik, she had full intention to go through this marriage. Also, she very openly told him about her feelings for Dev. Ritwik at all times was aware of Sonakshi's feelings.
But now Dev is using a girl to get Sona and did not even bother thinking twice before leading her on. Shame on him and you.
And if Sona goes back to him walking over someone's broken heart, then shame on her.
Bhaiya is staring at Sonakshi working at her office.
He gets mad: I am getting engaged tomorrow and she is working here. Sonakshi, this is not time to work. This is time to realise that you also love me.
But then it's not time to talk to oneself either. It's time to make her realise.
So he calls Sonakshi.
Sonakshi doesn't pick up the phone.
He says: Sonakshi, this is not the time to look around. Pick up the phone.
Sonakshi picks up the phone: What happened?
Bhaiya says: Hello, did I disturb you?
Sonakshi: Do you know what to do except disturbing me? Why did you call? I was sleeping and you woke me up.
Bhaiya: I just wanted to make sure that you are coming tomorrow.
Sonakshi: I told you that I have work tomorrow.
Bhaiya: Then work now. What's the need to sleep?
Sonakshi: Are you mad? First you wake me up and then tell me what's the need to sleep. Stop disturbing me.
She hangs up the phone.
Sonakshi was about to throw the phone in anger when she sees Bijoy.
He asks: Sona, why are you taking your anger on your phone? Do you have too much workload in office?
Sonakshi says: No.
Bhaiya gets mad: Why did that oldie come here? Is this the time to come to office?
Me: Wow, Sonakshi. What a prime specimen you have found. He doesn't mind playing with a woman and her family and gets pissed off seeing your father. But it's okay. What are some collateral damages in the way of LAU.
Sonakshi: Why are you here?
Bijoy says: Can't I come to your office?
Sonakshi: It's not that. You can come but...
Bijoy: Sona beta, I know. I force my decisions on you.
Sonakshi says: If this is about Dev, then I don't want to talk.
Bijoy: No beta. I want to talk. Beta, everyone thinks at home that I don't understand your feelings. I try to control your life. But it's not that. I understand your feelings.
Bhaiya is staring and listening. Nothing unusual there.
Bijoy: You might think that I have some personal problem with Dev. But I don't have any enmity with Dev.
Sonakshi: I am sorry. I got mad and said that...
Bijoy: It's okay, beta. I want you two to be happy. That's why I am happy to hear about his decision to get married.
Bhaiya is frustrated at Bijoy giving Sonakshi sensible advice based on HER decision.
Bijoy: I know beta that this is difficult. For some time, you will feel sad and hurt. But later everything will get better. This little pain is better than lifetime of pain.
Me: Bijoy is giving the exact advice someone gives to an addict.
I know it's difficult to give up addiction. You will feel restless and will go through withdrawal. But everything will be better in the end. This little suffering is better than lifetime of suffering, no?
I was totally on the ball yesterday.
Sonakshi looks convinced.
Bhaiya beats his head: Mr. Bose always comes at the wrong time and gives his daughter wrong advice. What is this? He got used to be the bone on the throw by eating too much fish. First let Sonakshi and I get married, then I will see you.
Me: I understand your frustration Bhaiya. When any father teaches their daughter to have self-respect and value their worth, men like you always the first to complain. After all, then bridal market gets into shortage problem, no?
Just imagine if every Indian father turned into a Feminist, then? Guys like Jatin would get a confident and independent life partner. But guys like you will die single.
Bijoy: I am not forcing you. It's my responsibility to make you understand. So that's all I am doing. You can't spend your whole life on one emotion. The rest is up to you.
Sonakshi makes faces.
Me: I know. How irritating is it to be a pathetic person and someone shows you your true face? It's very difficult.
Bijoy: That's all I wanted to say. When you are coming home?
Sonakshi: After I finish my work.
Bijoy: Okay.
Something squeaks.
He looks around: I think something is here.
He looks at the window and Bhaiya moves in the nick of time.
Bijoy: I think there is someone there.
Bijoy goes to investigate.
Sonakshi: Baba, there is no one there except us.
Bijoy: I heard some noise. Must be a rat.
Me: Bijoy, as usual, your wisdom is beyond imagination. Aapke charan kahan hain?
Sonakshi: What I are you doing, Baba? There is no one there.
Bijoy: No, must be some rat there. He probably ran away. (He laughs). Okay. You come home later. I am going home.
Sonakshi shakes her head.
Me: Sonakshi, if only you had enough brain cells to know the infinite wisdom your father has. But you know the story. What's the use of a diamond necklace to a donkey? The same way, a gem of a father like Bijoy is wasted on a daughter like you.
Bhaiya comes back in his position. He is fuming mad.
He says: He doesn't rest even in the middle of the night. He wants to kill a rat in midnight. Oldie!!!
Me: I know, right? When someone's daughter has such pathetic choice of men, how can a father rest? Poor thing is still trying to protect his daughter from a loser like you.
Sonakshi fell asleep on her chair. Bhaiya is staring at her sitting on the table.
Bhaiya: Did you know, since you came back to Delhi, I wanted to tell you something. But never got a chance. But today I can say. You didn't do right by cutting your hair short. You looked so good with long hair. But the truth is that even this short hair suits you. And the stupid glasses you wear to hide your beautiful eyes, even that looks good on you. Do you know?
The thing is, whatever you do, everything looks good on you. But this fear on your face doesn't suit you. And the deeper your fear, the hurt I gave you must be just as deep when I left you. I took a really selfish decision. I didn't think about you. But you never thought about yourself either. You had Suhana. So you probably didn't have time to think about yourself. But Sonakshi, now you have a chance to think about yourself, but you are scared. You are scared to admit that you still love me like before.
He folds his hands: Sonakshi, tomorrow I am getting engaged. Please stop me.
Then he gets up to go. But turns around.
Bhaiya: What I came to say, I didn't say. I wanted to say that Miss Sonakshi Bose, I still love you like I used to love you when I fell in love with you. Nothing has changed even today.
Bhaiya goes away. Sonakshi keeps sleeping.
Me: Okay, bhaiya. A few things to think about here.
1. The first part of your speech was great. You should have said it when you were both conscience. As in you being sober and Sonakshi being awake.
My husband also sometimes likes to watch me sleeping in the morning. But you know what? He doesn't make even a single sound when I am sleeping. But when my eyes open and I see him looking at me, the first thing he says I love you. Nothing brings an instant smile on someone's face than that.
But with you, everything is backwards. The only reason anyone thinks that you love her is because of what you say behind her back. Because your behaviour in her presence, leaves a lot to be desired.
2. Your second part of the statement, if you ask me, is exactly what is wrong with you and the reason I can't respect you. So you are playing with a girl's emotions and you hope Sonakshi will humiliate her and her family in public for you by stopping her engagement. Do you feel even a little shame for planning this?
How would you feel if Soha or any of your sisters were standing where Nisha is standing and the groom has planned all this to get his ex back? What will you do to that groom and his family? Yet, you feel no remorse using another girl, simply because you don't have the courage to win over the obstacles. Instead you want everything to fall on your lap because you want it to happen.
Bhaiya comes home. Ishwari comes to his room.
She asks: You had gone to meet Sonakshi, naa?
Bhaiya denies: No. Why would I go to meet her?
Ishwari says: Just know that both of our destination are the same - Sonakshi. I had asked you to get married because...
Bhaiya: And I let this continue because...
Ishwari: In the hope that Sonakshi will realise that she still loves you.
Bhaiya: No, Maa. I know she loves me a lot. I was doing this so that she realises that she wants to come back in this house.
Ishwari: But when will she realise that? You can't break someone's heart to fulfil your heart's desire. We can't ruin someone else's happiness for our happiness. What is the fault of that girl or her family? If this happens, then someone's heart will break.
Bhaiya puppy face: When I started, I didn't know that this thing will reach this far. Besides, I have understood this. Sonakshi is not agreeing.
Me: Please tell me he is kidding. Because I am this close to slapping him. What does he mean he didn't know? When he was lying to that girl he didn't know? When he was flirting with that girl, leading her on, he didn't know? When he was eager to get engaged he didn't know? What didn't he know?
Just because Sonakshi is not falling in line, he is using Nisha for his own gain?
As I said, once an user, always an user.
Nisha said clearly what she expects. She asked the same question multiple times in various ways. She also said that she doesn't want her family hurt. Yet Bhaiya didn't know what he was doing? It's like a terrorist tells the court that he didn't know what was going to happen when he was setting off the bomb or a cheating husband says that he didn't know what is going to happen when he went to a hotel room with another woman.
Are you frigging kidding me?
If Sonakshi stops this engagement after this and breaks Nisha's heart, I will personally crucify her.
People who uses other people's emotions for their gain, they can never be happy. Because their road is paved with someone's tears and heart break.
People are not collateral damages that you can brush over and create your life over their misery.
Ishwari: Why? Why is she not ready? Asha said that she is upset and she is bothered by this. Then why isn't she saying anything?
Bhaiya: May be because she was alone for all these years, that's why? May be because her heart broke, that's why? May be because of you.
Ishwari looks up: Me? Because of me? But I told her that I was wrong. I asked for forgiveness.
Bhaiya: But Maa, did you tell her that you still consider her as your daughter-in-law?
Ishwari is shocked.
Bhaiya: Sonakshi is very smart. She always tells me that I play games with her. I use my family members like pawns in the game of chess. We are also doing exactly that with her, no?
Ishwari feels guilty: If this engagement happens, and later you and Sona... Then a heart will break.
Bhaiya: Not one heart, Maa. Three hearts will break. That girl, Sonakshi and I...
Ishwari: Suhana's, Ashaji's and mine too.
Bhaiya stares at her.
Me: I am trying to understand something here. Bhaiya knows that someway or other at least one heart will break in any situation. Yet, he is not putting a stop to all this. In fact, he wants not only Nisha to get heart broken, but her whole family's reputation to suffer so that he can get his ego stroked by Sonakshi.
He knows everything. Just like always. Yet he is doing nothing. Also like always.
Hence I kept saying, his so-called heart is as fake as fool's gold. A solid gold heart, not only understands someone's pain, but also never takes risks of hurting them.
Here Bhaiya is willingly hurting two women. One he claims to love, the other he claims to use for the said love.
Why? Because although he knows Sonakshi loves him and he also knows that Sonakshi doesn't want to get married again. But he wants Sonakshi to stay at Dixit house forever and the only thing that matters is what he wants.
So he is manipulating one girl's emotions to get another. How does he know that Nisha didn't fell in love with him? Some people claim that Bhaiya is very lovable. Everyone falls in love with him.
Still he is leading her on. I hope Nisha refuses to let him step back from his words. She should force him to marry her and then take half of his property and dump him. That's what he deserves.
And as of Sonakshi, she deserves all the ugly names Nisha and her family can call her.
As a woman, it's unbearable for me to watch a so-called heroine of a story is behaving like a vamp to another innocent woman over a man. SHAME!!!
Bijoy: You are my Maa. Whatever you tell me to do, I will do it. But what about Sonakshi? Why should she listen to you? Who is she to you? 8 years ago, I chose her. Now you also like her. But today it's not her fault.
Do you remember, you came in this house as nutritionist and then she left as a daughter-in-law. Then she never came back. She wanted to win our hearts. She wanted to win our love. But we made her lose.
Ishwari: Oh God. Tell me Dev. Make me understand how to make her understand that I am on her side?
Bhaiya: I don't know, Maa. But I just know that I don't want to put any pressure on her this time. Whatever decision she has to take, she has to take. And she has to take before it's too late.
Me: You know the funny thing, Bhaiya? You honestly surprise the heck out of me. Not because you sometimes show that you have a few brain cells, but what you do right after.
First you say that you do whatever your mother says. Yet you blame Bijoy for giving sensible advice to Sonakshi.
Secondly, you claim that you completely understand Sonakshi and your speech certainly indicates that, yet you expect her to humiliate a girl and her family in her engagement when she has first hand experience what a girl and her family goes through when her engagement breaks publicly.
Thirdly, you claim that you don't want to put pressure on Sonakshi. Yet you are getting engaged to a girl tomorrow to force her hand.
Strange isn't it how you sound perfectly bipolar?
Next day, Radha and Vicky are decorating the house for Dev's engagement. Radha says that she got everything ready.
Vicky asks her to keep an eye on Ishwari. Radha promises that she won't let anything go wrong.
Radha comes to Ishwari and tells her that she is shining in happiness.
Ishwari isn't looking at all happy.
Radha tells that she has got everything ready. She consoles Ishwari that she doesn't want this. But she knows that whatever man proposes, God disposes? May be God thinks this is good. Now what can we do? And why are you forgetting that this is what Dev wants.
Ishwari remembers what Soha said.
Me: Ishwari, you had said that you didn't want anyone to get hurt here when you started this planning. But when your son is involved, how can anyone not get hurt? He has done Phd in hurting people because of his shitty planning.

PRECAP: Ishwari goes to Sonakshi and says: Whatever Dev is doing, he is doing for you. He wants when you come back this time, the choice and free will must be yours.
Sonakshi cries but says: You are getting late for engagement. You should go.
Ishwari is upset.
Me: What did you expect, Maiya? No really? Do you really think that the world revolves around your son?
He first gets engaged super fast and then says that Sonakshi must come with her free will without thinking who he is hurting.
If Sonakshi had gone running to him, I'd have called her an ass.
Dev and her together convinced Nisha that they don't want to get back together. We all know how much Dev values his words. But by now, you should already know that Sonakshi values her words.
How can she go to the engagement and insult Nisha and her family by stopping the ceremony without being a grade A jerk?
And how can Bhaiya continue to use that innocent girl who is dreaming of a future for his own personal gain?
Who would want to be with a person like that? Not a smart woman. That's for sure.
NO RULES!!! YAY!!!
Today i am very thankful to mr.Dev Dixit he really has solved a very big problem for me. Actually as a result of stuffing cold drink and junk food during my later school days and collage i have damaged my liver for lifetime and now i only eat prescribed food. Since last year my headcook in my office who has clear instructions how to cook has been frequently on leave because he has to accompany his young daughter who has been diagonosed with blood cancer so cannot really stop him. It was a real headache ordering food as most of the time i would get a new chef to whom i have to instruct the entire process and our home cook only comes in evening as me and my wife live alone so no use during the daytime. But today i learnt a much better way I just have to grab a lick smacking and unhealthy food from the canteen and stare it and automatically healthy food will come to me without making any effort( all this is based on applying Dev's logic these days).
ReplyDeleteThis was the first comment....and I'm still ROFLing. The best example of the current scenario in krpkab.
DeleteI know, right? His logic literally is the biggest hogwash I have ever heard. It's like when a guy says, I want my girlfriend to sleep with me out of her free will. I just told her that if she doesn't sleep with me, I will sleep with someone else. But I don't want to force her. WTF?
DeleteThe Patnaik's are ruining yet another show.
ReplyDeleteI guess they don't care. It's their show.
DeleteI am not watching the show anymore so I have a doubt . Is Dev doing these tricks with Nisha and Payal's consent ? I mean are both of them involved with Dev in this ??
ReplyDeleteBcoz, if they aren't involved with Dev or unaware that Dev is just playing around, then this is undoubtedly the most stupid thing to show. I mean using a human being to get your motives.. What a message..
If these girls are aware of Dev's plan and are with him, I wonder how Dev convinced them to do the task.. I mean how does he know them ?? and what do they get by supporting Dev ?? Why would they waste their time in helping Dev ?? They have never showed him being friends with them...Ohh, I am trying to find logic in the show.. What a stupid thing to do !
He is using them. They don't know.
DeleteBut apparently he is innocent because he didn't know that when he was flirting and leading them on, things would get this serious.
Yeah, such a 'Dev' thing to say.
Considering what he said, he isn't much big into taking consent. But I am sure CVs will trunk Nisha into a villain to justify Bhaiya so that he doesn't seem like a monster who play with innocent lives. One thing for sure. If Bhaiya even commits murder, somehow CVs will find something to justify it.
DeleteWow cvs what an excellent character u ve introduced us to in the form of Mr Dev Dixit? He is calling Bejoy budhau and khadus and wants to prevent him from giving advice to his daughter. And all throughout he was tight lipped when Ishwari was ruining his and Sona's life. Ishwari ko sau khoon bhi maaf hai par Bejoy can't give a decent advice also to his daughter.
ReplyDeleteAlso the great Mr Dev Dixit showed us how mahaan he is. He said that he can still do anything for his mother(whether right or wrong) but they can't expect Sonakshi to listen to Ishwari. Wow I m so impressed with his thoughts. Also Sonakshi shudnt listen to her father's advice though Mr Dev is still and always will be his mother's puppet and will always do things according to her wishes.
And u know what he doesn't want to force any decision on Sonakshi. Doing this engagement drama is not forcing in any way.
Yep. You are exactly right. Had Sonakshi ever spoke to or about Ishwari the way he speaks about Bijoy, she'd have been out of his life instantly. But then Bhaiya is loyal to his family and Sonakshi is not loyal to hers. That's why Sonakshi's family suffered and his didn't.
DeleteHe still says that whatever his mother says he will do it. That means he agreed for marriage because she said so. He was just pretending in front of Sonakshi so that he can manipulate her. But when Sonakshi listens to Bijoy he gets pissed. What a jerk.
Not watching crazy shit.... sounds scary
ReplyDeleteGood for you. It's not scary. It's irritating to watch.
Deletegood tia have a nice vacation dear so cool even i won't be around visiting india for 3 weeks from aug so i won't miss anything ..
ReplyDeletefun part what if serials itself wind up ..by then
i skipped 2 episode for work but saw todays lol i feel like laughing seeing 360 degree change in dev seriously are u kidding me i am dam sure this too is a drama fakeness is visible ..
calling bijoy buddhoo my respect for dev has gone hell down ..
bijoy what a man i salute him when he said one emotion won't make u happy rest of ur life how perfect words he used ..
asha was hungry to get insult so straight to dixits ..
ur right tia see soha joined the group she only cared for ish tears not asha's dev part 2...
well i dont know sona brain is thinking but dev brain has rotten completely .instead of talking to sona directly he preferred to say to sleeping sona and ish and did u see he blamed ish for his fall out ..
now also he doesn't realize what he did was wrong he was the soul reason for the fall out ..
dixits lol knows to blame each other ..
"sad buddhi de sona ko ye ishwar "hope to see sona use her brain instead of stupid heart ..break dev overconfidence on sona follow bijoy for once till dev does something constructive to win her back
I know, right? Sonakshi and use her brain? I think she puts it in the locker before meeting Ishwari and Dev because she behaves like a brainless bimbo in their presence. I doubt she will exercise her brain.
DeleteBut I really hoped she would.
lol tia u rock tia with humorous comments ---
ReplyDeleteMe: Sonakshi, if only you had enough brain cells to know the infinite wisdom your father has. But you know the story. What's the use of a diamond necklace to a donkey? The same way, a gem of a father like Bijoy is wasted on a daughter like you.
awesome writing tia i wonder tia how sick can asha why couldn't she try to unite back then it took 7 yrs to realize
Me: Asha, remember what Bijoy spoke about wrong intention? Yes, this is the proof.
Let's see here.
You came to know that your soon-to-be son-in-law is playing with another girl and her family's feelings and reputation so that he can get your daughter. And you are happy.
bang on right how can dev be so sick hurting others -ow would you feel if Soha or any of your sisters were standing where Nisha is standing and the groom has planned all this to get his ex back? What will you do to that groom and his family? Yet, you feel no remorse using another girl, simply because you don't have the courage to win over the obstacles. Instead you want everything to fall on your lap because you want it to happen.
as usual awesome analysis i hate to say this i hated the episode but reading ur analysis is much fun
Ha ha. Thank you.
DeleteAnd you know what was worse? Asha was not only enjoying Sonakshi being hurt, but she is happy to attend an engagement party hoping her daughter strikes a blow to another girl and her family which she and her family have went through. What kind of woman is she? No wonder Sonakshi turned into a selfish shithead.
I have been reading your comments - rather stories since you opened the blog - though I stopped watching the show just after s2 started. I think for everything which happens to girls as wives is due to females only. I always say there is no problem (leaving exceptions) between FIL and DIL if FIL is a widower, some problem between MIL and DIL if MIL is not widow but its hell for a DIL if MIL is a widow. In any case DIL and FIL have no problems.
ReplyDeleteComing to Dev - such people can never grow up and I know people but if the guy is hot one - there are girls who are ready to spread for such guys. I wonder why its only the females who are ready to become the woh - for a married guy ? Any idea when a guy is ready to marry a woman forcing her to take divorce.
I really fail to understand female perspective. Being a male I find it disgusting to see girls drooling for married man.
Thiis show was disgusting for me since S1 after the breakup when a mamas boy without even talking to his mom broke the relationship. I was on the forum and on your blog to understand how people react to the characters in such a passionate way.
The CVs are just a bunch of brain dead people who are just after money and can only create characters which are just their replica's
I understand your frustration. But allow me to answer your questions. It's not just the females who agree to be the other woman, but also men who agree to be the other man. But the number is less.
DeleteThe reason is lack of self-worth, self-confidence and self-esteem. You see, this is not a problem just in India but across the globe. Media highlights two men's bromance while they highlight too women's differences. Even if two girls are best friends, media spreads rumours of jealousy, petty fights, stealing opportunity from each other. In short, they always sic two women in competition with each other - sometimes over a job, sometimes over a man, sometimes over something as frivolous as a wedding dress. I can cite numerous examples of that. The recent one being Deepika and Priyanka who are always compared to each other.
Secondly, society undermines a woman's confidence and self-esteem in so many ways by telling her that her self-respect is arrogance and ego while a man's self-respect is necessary to him.
Mind you, not all women fall for that. But only the least confident, insecured, woman with low self-esteem do. Because a confident woman who has her pride and self-respect understands her worth and she won't get into petty competition. She is the prize, not the competitor.
I personally don't think anything - be it man, career, whatever is worth hurting another human being, let alone a fellow woman. Not even for George Clooney will I hurt a woman. But then I think I deserve a man who is at all times only devoted to me and won't sic another woman against me to keep me on a leash. The moment anyone does that, I will walk away.
Needless to say, Sonakshi is not me.
U know what tia I some how was sad at the end of the episode not for dev not for not for ishwari but for situations which led sona go out of dixits house how her stand of mind would have been then losing her love having one more life in her womb and mountain like responsibility and useless brother whom she only should support .
ReplyDeleteJust thinking how her emotions might have been flowing her happiness in having a baby sadness of losing her love and tensions to set her family lives back on track how much strength she must have had I really get amazed with ladies like sona ( in bahubali devasena character is one more strength strong example)
Why things are not like fairy tale why life is so complicated
Why do ppl hurt ? Why selfishness over power there love ??
All these pop in .
I became sad listening about dev saying sona being all alone suddenly old episodes flashed the day she left the house .
It's just a serial so happy ending is must but reality is harsh right
.
About the new girl I feel pity her dreams will crash why can't dixits think about others beyond there selfishness
I don't know when will this creepe dev get it stamping on others dream he can never achieve his goal
He needs to walk down the thorns to go in right path
I felt sad for Sonakshi on that scene too. It's not easy to be alone and raising a child while coping with a broken heart and destitution. But one should not forget the people who stood by them in tough times and those who wasn't around. Bijoy was by her in every tough times, Bhaiya wasn't. That's why when I see her turning against Bijoy, mocking him, insulting him - it seems extremely ungrateful act.
DeleteIf she absolves Ishwari and Dev, that's fine. Her choice. But she has no right to blame Bijoy for her pathetic nature.
Off to date night to watch Wonder Woman. Responses on the weekend. Have a great one. :)
ReplyDeleteenjoy tia!!!
DeleteThanks. Amazing movie. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
DeleteI hope no one get lover or husband like dev dixit in real life.Frankly speaking people like dev dixit who treat girls father like shit are the reason why girls family is not being respected .This show and it's patrichial regressive outlook . Anyway Tia if you have free time you should watch naamkaran after leap show on star plus ,I have recently started watching heard it's getting good reviewsI don't know how long they will continue to do this.but I am enjoying this different approach. just because male character respect female lead choices ,wishes, and most important giving her "SPACE" where in this stupid show we have so called lover who is indirectly forcing and manupulating her to confess her feeling to him No honesty or sincerity.Hope young girls don't find that its cool to use another person emotions for their own benefit.Love is not game.
ReplyDeleteMay be after I finish this show, I will binge watch the one you recommended. Thanks for the recommendation.
DeleteHilarious Tia and agree with all your points.
ReplyDeleteBhaiya's dialogues make me utterly butterly confused.
I dont understand what he means when he says Sonakshi has to take a decision. Hasnt she already? Its a big NO. They r hurting her purposefully and forcing her hands by petty tricks to change her decision.
I had no doubt she didnt love him. But she had come to listen to the sensible logic of her brains. Love for DD is vry dangerous.
Bijoy says the truth.
Cant believe Ishwari is saying things which I like to hear....like heartbreak consideration for Nisha.
One thing I noted: Dev knows everything. His dialogues says so. He knows his mistakes. He knows everyone's mistakes. But his actions never ever reflect his thoughts. The most dishonest character of the show.
The new spoiler speaks of a kiss-- Dev forcefully kisses Sona after a argument when she was found crying in a coffee shop during the engagement. Whoa!!! Bas yehi dekhna baaki reh gaya hai...public display of affection...PDA by Devakshi...not exactly my cup of tea. Looks straight out of YashRaj movies.
Are you serious? Does he get engaged and then kisses Sonakshi by force? If he did, then I hope Sonakshi slaps him hard. What kind of ass is he? Then how is he different from Ayan who was deceiving Riya with that girl? What kind of person does that?
DeleteHowever, engaged or not engaged - forced kiss is a no go area. What is with asshole heroes on tv screen? Is consent a difficult concept to understand?
I don't live in India but I hear about the brutal rape cases there and always wondered why this was. There are many reason but one of them that contributes to this issue is that tv shows glorify this forceful love/manhandling, fan girls drool over the hero (not because of the act mainly, but because he is hot), regular boys think this is acceptable and do so in reality.
DeleteI'm not saying this is the main reason (because it's not, laws and enforcement are bigger/major) for rape cases but Indian TV seems to glorify these forceful acts with forcing kisses and manhandleing and I feel people don't realize the difference between reel and real.
NOTE: I realize that this is a sensitive subject and mean no offense.
So they are using a kiss to once again cover for a shitty story/plot line? They do this when the fans on twitter express major disappointment with the story/show.
Delete- flopped infertility track = sex and half naked Dev with Sonakshi propped up against him
- flopped Khatri and Ishwari redemption tracks = kiss in the rain
I know the actors get paid and have to do as the PH, writer, and director ask, but I hope they don't do the kiss, especially with the craziness that is sharica shipping.
PH, writer and director, please improve your story and be creative instead of resorting to these cheap tactics.
Guys, are you surprised? This is not the first time they used sex to cover up holes in the plot. Remember Shimla night?? Finallyhi was asking all the rights questions, bam... Sex happens. Suddenly she wants to thank Ishwari.
DeleteTia, if no on volunteers, default my name. I can open the thread all the days given no one else is around.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your holidays!!
Scotland and London...ahaha...I wish we could meet, if I stay in London till then.
@BashingHater: Sorry to see your name getting dragged into controversy bcoz of a typo, I cud have helped you out in IF,I still have an active ID...I guess I'm late. I read some of ur Sharica posts and I saw all of you were having fun, no serious stuff. I believe ur friends will understand you. ATB.
Perfect. Done. PM me your email address.
DeleteI wish we could meet too. I will be in London 6th - 9th September. If you are there at that time, shoot me an email. May be we can meet for coffee. You can then meet my husband too. :)
DeleteI am sick of some fans. There, I said it.
ReplyDeleteSorry.. not sorry.
They are all like-- Dev called Bejoy a nickname in good jest. Although thankfully some people don't accept it that way either...
But if they think it was humorous, they are being delusional. It would have been humorous if it actually was a witty name. Budhau is a taunt. And Dev meant it that way only.
Secondly, people only take those parts of the scene which they want to in order to love DevAkshi. Like the office scene.
They don't pay attention to his actions vs words to see what a bipolar person he is.
Again, excluding some people who are worried about the games he is playing with Nisha, rest are all looking forward to the 'forced' kiss and confession.
Today, Bejoy somewhat accepted his mistake and like an 'understanding' father advised what he thought. Instead of taking his points in consideration or even respecting his POV... some feel the need to kick him.
What is the difference between them and Dev in that scene.
And hardly anyone is even ready to ACCEPT that he is manipulating Sona. They overlook all his tricks cuz apparently he is trapped himself. He is afraid to lose her.. yada yada.
And most importantly, one question I still unanswered and overlooked--- Why is Dev not acting like a 'man' in love and wooing Sona instead of expecting her to overcome her fear by jealousy???
He is right that she needs to overcome fear and pain to ACCEPT him. But Dear Dev, that is your task. Your kasauti. Your redemption. Make her fear go away by being the man she fell in love with. Not by showing her how much she will miss your body and touches.
Haha, if Sona calls Ishwari, 'Budiya' in good jest, how will Dev react?? I can already hear a 'Get Out'! :D
DeleteDev should learn this saying "do unto others as you would have them do unto you"
DeleteI totally on your boat. I am not looking forward to forced kiss. And if he gets engaged and does it, then even more douchy act. You are right. This should be his redemption, instead he is racking up more negative points.
DeleteAnd his attitude towards Bijoy is disgusting because how he expects people to treat his mother. If he was fine with people mocking his mother, then sure, mock someone else's parents. But if you expect respect, you better be prepared to give respect. But thanks to Sonakshi's attitude to her family's respect, he will never learn.
The thing is my friend, dev and the fan girls think that dev has always been in love with Sonakshi all these years and his being in love with her itself is more than enough for Sonakshi to come crawling back on her knees to him. Anyways they think his trying to make her jealous for which he has to work so much for that should be enough for her.
DeleteEvery one of us knows he is a douchebag, so he won't do anything. Only a gentleman tries to win his lady and earn someone's trust and love.
Anyway from the way Sonakshi is behaving, everyone would think she's the culprit behind the whole breakup.
DeleteI agree Tia and Jasw. The least he can do is give her and her family equal treatment. But even that is too much to ask.
Dev and equal treatment for Sona's family --> north pole and south pole.
DeleteDev hates feminism.
Dev taunts on being independent and strong.
Dev admits he is selfish yet he does nothing to prove he wants to do some pashchataap.
Dev is DEV. He is not a HERO, for sure. He is a normal human who is very weak and is the weakness of Sonakshi Bose. He is literally the black sheep in krpkab. Vicky looks at times better than him.
I'm going soft on him because these days he is on a spree to accept and acknowledge his mistakes. He is saying all that I always wanted him to...but to us, the viewers. And his words are not converting to actions....my anger over this.
I will never understand why a guy will follow this way to win his love back when he realises how selfish he has been all this time, also that he has hurt her way too much. He is beyond me.
Happy holidays, Tia. Do you think the serial will last till August? :D Anyways I don't think I can be of help as I log in very late, when almost all the analysis done! :)
ReplyDeleteToday the dialogues were good except for Budhao! Dev is a big hypocrite, one one hand he worships his mother ..Ma tu jo kahegi mai woh karunga and on the other hand he is cursing Bijoy for his advice to Sona! These kind of people can never give respect to their in-laws. And whenever a clash between his side and his in-laws side would happen we know which side Dev will be!:) Anyways glad that inadvertently Bijoy called Dev a Rat, which he is! :D
The more they show that Dev understands the situation perfectly the more I get pissed off by this stupid juvenile way of manaoing Sona. He knows Sona is in love with him but does not want to take a risk of coming back to Dixit household. He also knows Bijoy likes him as a person but not as son in law because he had hurt his daughter. I really don't understand how getting engaged to a girl will counter the above two problems. Rain and kiss is not a solution but taking GKB and Vicky to task, defending Sona in front of his entire family (he had few opportunities recently), making a bridge between Sona and Ishwari, genuinely caring for Sona and giving respect to Bijoy would have been few things he could have tried for.
Instead he was concentrating on how to tie a gajra and movie date with the new girl when he has no serious intentions with her!
Tell me what is the difference between Vicky and Dev?
You know what? You are absolutely right. The show may not last until Aug. But just in case it does, I got Gauri now. There is no difference between Bhaiya and Vicky or Ayan for that matter. They were both using women. As I said before, once an user, always an user.
DeleteThe man who didn't care about anyone's family before taking their livelihood for his own gain (Ranveer, Sonakshi), treating innocent people as collateral damage, how can we expect him not to use another innocent victim? He said it right. He plays game and uses people like pawns. But they are not lifeless chess pieces. They are human being who gets hurt, who cries, laughs just like any other. But Bhaiya never cared about anyone else when he wanted something. That's his nature.
Vicky stood by his wife, even against his mother.
DeleteBreaking News: Nisha apparently stops the engagement seeing Bhaiya doing LLTT. Let me first applaud Nisha for being smart enough to ditch Bhaiya. Next, may I ask what was the need of this drama if Sonakshi (smartly) didn't stop the engagement and Bhaiya would have gone through it if Nisha didn't save his sorry ass? I mean why would anyone want such an useless guy? In I had my way, I will write the story like Nisha dumps Bhaiya for Sonakshi and she doesn't want him either.
ReplyDeleteSeeti bajao koi Nisha ke liye. I don't know varna main khud hi bajati.
DeleteMujhe bhi nehin aati. Lekin virtual seeti baja di soch lo.
