Tia's Thread - Unhealthy!!!

Today, I'd like to share something about my life.

I come from a very liberal and multi-cultural family. We have one woman who married a non-Bengali guy, one man married a non-Indian woman and two woman who married non-Indian men - one of which was me.

So my cousin who married an American and I married a Canadian, got married around the same time. 

Both our husbands came to India also around the same time and met our families.

Every time we have a family gathering of any sort (which we have many), every one keeps praising my husband. He is so friendly, he is so caring, he is so helpful, my cousins reach out to him more than me, he helped my cousin go study in USA etc etc etc.

It won't be a stretch of imagination to say that my husband is their favourite son-in-law of all times who exceeded their expectations beating the previous popular one who was my grandfather (This is my grandmother's side of the family).

They never talk about the other non-Indian guy. Why? Well, he didn't show much interest in embracing the culture, the people, the family or tried to get to know the family at all.

What made the difference? Was it all the other guy's fault? No. Not completely.

It's our attitude that made a difference. The cousin who married this guy doesn't much care about her Indian heritage, she doesn't mix with the family much (although she is polite to them) and she never insisted that the family is important to her.

I, on the other hand, was very clear that I will treat my husband's family the way he treats mine. So I expect him to be the son my mother never had, just like I became the daughter of his parents they never had. 

I expect him to care for my family, the way I care about his. They are as important to me as his family is to him. 

And if I embrace his family as mine, he has to do the same.

If I embrace his heritage as mine, he has to embrace mine.

If I try to understand him by respecting his culture, he has to respect mine.

So before I had my big fat wedding in India, I insisted for him and I to go travelling across India from coast to coast crossing more than 20,000 kms. 

Because you can't really know a person without knowing their origin, where they came from, what made them who they are. Just as I can't know him without knowing Canada, he can't know me without knowing India.

Had I told him that I have no respect for my culture, then he won't bother learning about it.

Had I told him that I don't care about my family, he won't have bothered trying to be a part of them.

Had I not made it clear that I am not going to tolerate him insulting my family, he won't have given them the respect he gives them now.

So yes. Being an Indian, I introduced him to Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, Subhash Chandra Bose, Abdul Kalam, Bhagat Singh, Aryabhatt etc as being a Canadian he introduced me to Canada's history including migration history, values and culture. 

It was never an one way street or one-sided relationship where everything flowed one way. Because no relationship can sustain that way. At least, not a healthy and positive way.


That's why, I believe that the reason Bhaiya never respected Behena's family as his own wasn't entirely his fault. It was her fault.

The reason she still gives utmost respect to his family even after divorce is because Bhaiya won't tolerate her disrespecting them.

When Bhaiya insulted her family, she still went back to him over and over again. For her, her lau was more important than her family's honour. The lau which left her over and over.

When Behena even remotely talked loudly to Ishwari, Bhaiya threw her out without a second glance and never looked back to see if she was alive or dead.

That's why Ishwari has no fault despite everything and Bijoy is blamed for everything.

But why blame others, when your own betrays you? 

Bijoy is surrounded by a family who don't give a damn about him while he constantly tries to make them happy. That's why his family treats him, the way Bhaiya treats Behena.


Ishwari said one sentence absolutely on point. People earn their own respect and lose them on their own too.

Love is beautiful and we all should love. 

But every relationship has its dignity - be it parents, be it spouse, friends, siblings, cousins or offspring. 

But when love loses its dignity, it becomes an object of pity, ridicule and contempt. In short, it becomes unhealthy.

Then it becomes a weakness and a burden you are carrying because you can't get out of this unhealthy obsession. It no longer remains a strength and a power beyond imagination which is healthy and positive. 

It's up to us to recognise the difference between unhealthy obsession and true love. Because true love will never expect you to break so that you can come crawling back. True love will build your trust, your confidence in self and your dignity and hope you will come to them with your head held high and with full confidence and trust.

Dev's love always wanted to break Sonakshi to get her. True love makes you, not breaks you. Because true love understands that when you get someone after breaking them, you may never find all of the pieces of them.

But when you build someone up, that's the only time you will get every piece of them. You will get the complete person and not a portion of them.



EPISODE: The episode starts with Bhaiya telling Sonakshi to come back the next day to meet the new girl.

Ishwari and Sonakshi are shocked.

Bhaiya says: What? Why are you looking like that? You must have selected more girls. Let's meet one of them. There were so many photos. You two decide whom I should meet. I will meet her tomorrow.

Bhaiya leaves. 

Radha is happy. Mamaji is worried. 

Sonakshi is silent.

Me: I don't know why they keep getting shocked at obvious things. I mean Bhaiya was a casanova until recently. Didn't Sonakshi know that? She may not know Bhaiya's plan. But she herself said that Bhaiya is the chauvinist kind and that she didn't expect him to go without a woman for 8 years. Well, then why is she surprised that after a prolonged dry spell since finding out about Suhana, he won't be eager to get married?

And I am shocked that Ishwari still believes that Bhaiya laus Sonakshi. Or may be because she finally found a girl whom she actually likes, she doesn't want to go through the same with a new girl. I am not sure what makes her still think that there is any scope for any girl to ever consider a man who is jumping to get married to anyone. I mean it doesn't matter who. Just has to be one of female variety. He is not picky. They are all the same in the dark.


Bhaiya comes to a room and sees Soha dancing in joy. He smiles.

Soha stops the music seeing Bhaiya and hugs him: I love you, Papa.

Bhaiya smiles: What happened? Why did you stop the music?

Soha: If I hadn't stopped the music, how would have hugged you?

Bhaiya: Soha is no longer upset with her Papa?

Soha: No Papa. I know that you are not marrying the new girl.

Bhaiya: If you were so hurt by this, why didn't you tell me? Why did you say that you had no problem with this? 

Soha: I have problem, Papa.

Bhaiya: Then you don't want that you get a Choti Mummy?

Soha: I only have one Mamma and I won't call Mamma anyone else. I was hurt when I heard that you are getting married. 

Bhaiya smiles.

Soha: I am sad and you are smiling?

Bhaiya: Then what else should I do? Suhana can't keep secret from me and nor Suhana's Papa can keep secrets from her.

Soha: But I told you. You must have some secrets too, no?

Bhaiya: Yes. I am doing this so that I can get your Mummy back into my life.

Soha smiles big: You are doing all this because of this reason?

Bhaiya: Yes, Suhana. I am sure your Mummy will realise one day how much she loves me. I will see how she introduces me to Choti Mummy.

Soha: Then Mamma will again become your wife, Papa?

Bhaiya smiles.

Soha: You are not sure. 

Bhaiya: If I was not sure, then why would I have done such a big drama?

Soha hugs her dad.

Me: Let's see Bhaiya what lessons you taught your daughter.

1. It's perfectly fine to play games so that someone you like, likes you back.

If Soha falls in love with someone who is getting engaged to someone else, I am sure with this training, she will make game plans to break his engagement so that she can get him.

2. It doesn't matter who wants what, if you want someone to fall in line, force their hands.

There are women who drug men or trick men and pretend to have relationship with them or pretend to be pregnant to force their hands. I am sure, they also follow this same thought process.

3. All it matters is the end goal and to get what you want. How you go achieving that or how many people you hurt in the process, doesn't matter.

The only thing that matters is what you want.

So if Soha falls in love with someone and he doesn't want to marry her, I am sure she can figure out how to ruin the people he loves until he gives in.

A broken person, makes a better pet.

4. Hurting someone intentionally so that they realise that they love you (I don't know how that is even possible) is the sign of true lau.

I am sure if a boy keeps hurting Soha, she will think that the boy laus her like her dad lau-ed her mother. 

I am sure such valuable life lessons will be much useful to Suhana in her future. 

I must say, you are as great father as you had been a husband - The kind I don't wish even on my enemy. 



Next day, the girl is in Dixit house with family. Ishwari is sitting upset. Sona is feeling awkward. The only one smiling big is Radha.

Bhaiya is preparing tea and snacks probably. He is not around. 

Mamaji very cheerfully asked them to eat.

The girls' parents praise Ishwari's Kachori.

Radha says that whatever Ishwari makes are very tasty. Besides now your daughter will handle everything when she comes here. After all she needs to let Ishwari relax.

Me: I am a little confused if they came here to get a groom or hire a maid? Doesn't that sound like a maid's interview?

Our previous maid was really good in cooking. But now she needs to retire. So we hope the new maid will handle everything. 

And what is this? Bhaiya didn't make the food? Usually sometimes people lie that the girl made everything even if the maid did. The least they could have said is that Bhaiya made all those with his own delicate hands. After all he made effort for Payal by taking one hour for each orchid. 

I am really disappointed with his performance. It's not up to the mark with our Nisha.


Mamaji says that first let her meet Dev. She is already pushing her into the kitchen considering she doesn't see the kitchen much.

Me: See? Even Mamaji noticed it.

Soha and Golu laugh.

Radha says that Mamaji always has to cut in. Even if she had got married to a monster, it would have been better.

Mamaji laughs: Are you mad? You can't get married in blood relations.

Nisha's parents hide their laughter. 

Radha says: Let him be. He is used to joking. But we want to know about your daughter. She can cook no?

Me: Didn't I say that it sounds like they are hiring a cook? 

Nisha's parents: You don't worry. Our daughter can cook very well. How did you son decided to marry again?

Radha says: We are just happy that our Dev agreed to remarry. This is all the result of Jiji and Sonakshi's joint venture. 

Nisha looks at Sonakshi and feels awkward.

Radha says: Besides Jiji wanted our Dev to get married again. And Sonakshi was the one who convinced him that people should move on in their lives. So when Dev decided, I called you to come over.

Nisha's parents seem satisfied with this response. 

Nisha asks: Sonakshi ji, you are Dev's...

Sonakshi says: I am his ex-wife.

Nisha is shocked and so are Nisha's parents.

Nisha: What? I mean this is very surprising that you are his ex-wife and you convinced him to get married again...

Me: Yep. I am glad you said it. No one else seems to find it odd. 

Sonakshi smiles: It's weird and strange. I know. It's possible that you have never seen this before. But Dev and I have left our past and our differences behind and now we are just good friends.

Nisha's mother says: These days the world moves so fast anyway. For that matter, where is Dev?

Me: May be doing his make up. When you only have one thing to show, you might as well prep it well.

Sonakshi barges in Dev's half open room as if it's a public garden: Dev, everyone is...

Of course Bhaiya is standing by the bathroom door half naked in tighty whitey banyan.

Behena, the woman who didn't bat an eye when she was tying dhoti on Bhaiya in exact state, suddenly starts inspecting the goods she is handing over to new owner. 

Kind of like when we sell our used stuff on a website and we know that a new owner is coming to pick it up, how we inspect and see if we are going to regret giving it up? Yep, like that.


Bhaiya walks to Behena and asks: Did you say something?

Behena still shamelessly ogling while his prospective bride is sitting downstairs: I...

Bhaiya pretends innocence: Did you say something? 

Behena: Everybody is shirting for you and you still haven't wore your wait.

Me: God, could she be more of an idiot?

Bhaiya smirks: You will help me wear it, then I will wear naa...

Then he closes the door.

Behena: What? Why are you closing the door?

Bhaiya: It's good that you came. What if someone else had come? The one I am going to meet, what if she had come upstairs? The poor thing would have felt shy, no?

Me: Thank God, someone remembers the girl who is waiting downstairs. Because looking at Behena, it seems that she doesn't care who gets hurt while she is staring at Bhaiya. 

Behena: You mean I am shameless?

Me: If the shoe fits. Why don't you answer that Behena? You were the one who was staring.

Bhaiya: Sonakshi, I know. You don't care. It's not a big deal for you to see me like this. But for many woman it's a big deal. Their breathing stops. But you don't care, no? Buddy?

Bhaiya punches Behena lightly and she falls like a feather. 

Me: Seriously? Behena, either get laid or get your shit together. Pathetic creature.

Me: Wow, real class. A man who tells you how his ex-girlfriends admired his body. Now where do you get such classy guys like this? 

Behena, I must say, your taste in men is... ummm... sorry. Help me get the proper adjective here. I am kinda loss for words here.


But Bhaiya catches her: Are you okay? You didn't get hurt, did you?

Behena nods her head in yes motion: No.

Behena says: You didn't get ready yet?

Bhaiya: I am ready. I will go like this.

Behena: Huh?

Bhaiya: Obviously not. I can't decide what to wear. 

Bhaiya tries on shirts and Behena is still ogling... 

Me: No really. This is too much mental torture. Behena, this is a guy who is going to check out that girl downstairs for marriage. And you are ogling him. Are you kidding me? Do you have any sense of decency or what?


Bhaiya: Instead of staring at me, you can help me decide what to wear.

Behena: What do I know what you want to wear? You decide yourself.

Bhaiya: At least finish something in your life. My whole life is in your hands. Whatever you want, I do it. Now you also select shirt for me. I am sure both will suit me - your chosen girl and your chosen outfit.

Sonakshi picks a shirt: Wear it and come down.

She is about to leave when Bhaiya grabs her: Your work is not done yet. Who will put tie on me?

Behena: You...

Bhaiya: Come on Sonakshi. You can do at least this much for me. I am wearing shirt. You can tie the tie on me. 

Behena is back to ogling.

Me: Wait. Behena, are you a moron? Next time he will ask you to go for shopping to buy lingerie for his fiance saying that you can at least do this much for him, would you do it? 

You know that he knows how to tie a tie. Yet you are standing their like a moronic butler waiting for next command. Honestly, that's why girls like you suffer. 

Bhaiya comes to Behena. She ties a tie on him.

Bhaiya moves her hair from her face. She tries to shake him off. 

Bhaiya: I am moving your hair from your face. 

Me: That's exactly all perverts say before coping a feel. 

Bhaiya is now using his body to make Behena realise her lau. You know single asset and all. You use what you got. Real effective!!! Do you remember those '90s movies where heroines deliberately used to drop pallu so that the hero would ogle and realise how much they lau them? 

Oh wait. May be those were vamps. But who cares? That's the scene I thought off watching this. 

Bhaiya, did you expect she will say, OMG, you are so hottt... Please marry me? 

No really? That was your brilliant plan?

Well, why not. Since that is working as much as Raveena's dance on Tip tip barsa paani worked on Akshay Kumar. 

Where else will you get a shit complex like a man who doesn't give eff about a girl is suddenly seduced by wet chiffon?

Oh wait. Right here.

Then what happens after the orgasm? That's right. Remorse for a lifetime.

Behena, have an one night stand. Years of celibacy is turning you into a fool.



Soha and Golu come running.

Soha says: Papa, new Mamma is waiting. Come fast.

Behena: What?

Soha says: You don't know anything. When Papa gets married, she will be my new Mamma, no?

Bhaiya is happy to have Soha inflict some more pain on Behena: Yes. 

Soha says: I will call you old Mamma and her new Mamma.

Behena looks away in anger.

Soha winks at Bhaiya. He smiles. 

Me: Bhaiya, do you need some needles to stick on Sona's nerve endings? No, I thought it will intensify the pain for her. After all how else could you two have hurt a woman who thought she was infertile and faced ridicules and massive hurt from the people she trusted and then got a miracle baby for whom she dedicated her life? 


Golu: Just like I call her ex-Bigchi and will call the new one new Bigchi. 

Sonakshi says: Whatever you want to call her, you can call. But right now we should go down. We should not keep her waiting for long. Let's go. 

She takes the kids downstairs.

Me: Wow, now you remembered she exists? You didn't think so while ogling her future husband. 


Bhaiya says: Exactly Miss Bose. One shouldn't make one wait for so long.

Me: Awww... Poor baby. She didn't start crawling at your command yet? But don't worry. She will crawl and beg soon. We have CVs naa. They will make sure Sonakshi is inflicted sufficient pain to make it worthy of TRP. We all know that in TV land, the more a woman suffers, the more we get TRP.

Strange no? The moment a man suffers, we start to get uncomfortable and want to end the pain. But we just can't get enough of a woman's suffering. 

What does it say about some people's mentality I wonder?


In the garden,

Bhaiya and Nisha are sitting in a bench...

T-A-L-K-I-N-G...

First comes fake emotions...

Then comes fake marriage...

Then comes Nisha with a baby courage...

Me: Because Bhaiya has needs.

He is a man so he did the deed.

But don't worry, he was drunk or mad or jealous or sad...

Because otherwise he is as innocent as new born weed.


Nisha asks: If you don't mind, can I ask something? You and Sonakshi had got married. I mean I don't know how to say this.

Bhaiya: It's okay. The thing is that we could not manage manage some things. Even today if Sonakshi and I are friends, it's because of our daughter Suhana. There is no other reason. 

Nisha: Sonakshi had said that you two are very good friends. 

Bhaiya: Sonakshi is a very good mother. She is very strong. If you meet Suhana, you will know. She has raised Suhana for 7 years alone. She thinks that everyone is in their right place. Nisha says: You said that she doesn't want to live with you. Do you...

Bhaiya laughs: If that was the case, I won't have been sitting here with you.

Me: I am a little confused. If I didn't know any better, I'd think Bhaiya is telling people what they want to hear while carrying on his agenda to get married to anyone without any one blaming him for this.

Think about it. If you were a person who wanted to get married, but your ex have done many favours on you and also won over your family, then first you will try to convince that ex to marry you stating that you are lonely and need a life partner.

Then you will make sure your family knows it. They will then convince the ex that they should talk to you.

You will agree soon enough after initial denial. 

Then you will go head on searching for a life partner while keeping your ex as an option.

Oh and you will also convince your child that you are doing it to get their other parent back.

So if that parent stops your marriage, well, good for you. You still get married to your first option.

If they don't then you still get married. Except now your child will blame the other parent for not stopping you and will never blame you.

So three birds in one shot while it's a win-win situation for you all around.


Nisha laughs: I am sorry. Actually after most marriages break up, people usually don't even want to see each other's face. And you two... The reason I am saying all this is because this is not only the matter of you and me. It's also about our family. And I don't want to hurt them for any reason.

Bhaiya: It's good that you cleared everything. (Then he looks at Behena who is still eavesdropping) Because if some things stay inside your hurt, then it hurts later. 

Nisha looks at him and follows his gaze: Sonakshi...

Behena finally realises what kind of impression Nisha is getting from her.

Behena says: Actually everyone was asking about you two, so...

Me: So she was eavesdropping. Are you here to compare notes if Bhaiya was a bigger ass to her as compared to you?

Nisha: Yes. We were just about to come in. But before coming in, I wanted to ask you two something. I hope you don't mind. 

Behena says: Go ahead.

Nisha: This is a big decision of my life and I don't want to take any risk. Are you two sure you don't want to get back together?

Behena and Bhaiya look at each other. Bhaiya is looking at Behena like see the last chance. Going, going...

Behena looks straight at Bhaiya and says: I am sure.

Bhaiya (Sold): I am also sure.

Nisha smiles: Then I think everything is clear. I am ready to move on ahead.

Me: Great!!! Now they have another victim to play with. Amazing. I hope Nisha holds them onto their statement and refuse to back down. It will serve them right. It will also teach Suhana a valuable lesson not to play with fire. What a bunch of jackasses. 

Two minutes ago they were this close to have sex and now lying to this girl.


Ishwari and Nisha's mother come there. Ishwari offer them food. 

Nisha says: I am fine. Maa, it's a yes from me.

Bhaiya looks at Sonakshi who is looking away: It's a yes from me too.

Ishwari is again shocked.

Nisha's mother tells Radha to bring sweets because they both said yes.

Radha is very happy.

Dev says: Once again, thank you Miss Bose. Everything happened because of you today. Now let's fix the engagement soon as well. Right buddy?

Sonakshi nods.

Me: Wait a minute. Bhaiya, does she own your tongue? Because I distincly recall you telling Nisha that there is nothing between you. You don't want her back. You are ready to move on. You are even friends only because of Suhana. And now you said yes for marriage. 

So please, don't be so modest. It's not all her. It's all you. She just gave you enough ropes. You could have built a bridge with it. But instead you decided to hang yourself. Now don't go blaming her for supplying the ropes. 


Bhaiya says: You didn't congratulate me.

Behena looks at Nisha and smiles: Congrats.

Nisha smiles: Thank you.


Radha calls them inside for sweets. Ishwari is sad: This thing is escalating and they are not saying anything. Sonakshi may not say anything. But why is Dev is saying yes?

Bhaiya comes to Behena after everyone leaves: Thank you Miss Bose. Everything happened because of you. Now fix the engagement date soon as well. You didn't congratulate me, by the way.

Behena says: Oh yes, congratulations.

Bhaiya: Are you congratulating me or taunting me?

Behena: Why should I taunt you? I am sure Nisha is a very nice girl and Maa will like her too.

Me: Awww... Now I get the reason of Behena's dilemma. She wants the mother-in-law, not the husband. Ishwari's market value is so high.


Bhaiya: She will like her as much as your Baba liked me. 

Behena: Baba? If he get one chance, he will sit with his eyes closed. So that he doesn't have to see you.

Me: True. Because Bhaiya has made so much effort to make his face worthwhile to look at.


Bhaiya: Now it's your turn.

Behena: My turn?

Bhaiya: You worked so hard for me. Now it's my turn to do all these for you. I want to find a guy for you.

Behena: I don't want to get married.

Bhaiya: What do you mean you don't want to get married. That's what we decided. You will get me married and after that I will get you married. You took such a big decision about my life, then I also should get the right to take that decision. Besides you know. Once I decide something, I do it.


Me: Wait a minute. Bhaiya, when did that got decided? I seem to recall that Behena was saying that she never wants to get married since the very beginning and she never said that she needs a life partner. 

But should she decide on a life partner, then there is one pre-approved by Bose family. Why not convince her to marry Jatin with your smokey voice? In fact, why not save money by getting married at the same time - you and Nisha and Behena and Jatin?

No wait. Jatin deserves better. Okay scratch that. Find some asshole like you. I am sure Behena will like him. She prefers men who treats her like a bus.



Behena: Keep your manners to yourself.

Bhaiya: Then what are you planning to do? Are you planning to romance someone in secret? Will you go to some handsome guy's house as a nutrition and feed his mother bitter gourd juice?

Behena: Are you calling yourself handsome?

Bhaiya: No, but may be I am providing you with someone to feed bitter gourd juice?

Behena: I never fed her bitter gourd juice.

Bhaiya raises his eye brows.

Behena: Okay fine. Twice. But she wasn't listening to me and she was shouting at me. So I wanted to take healthy revenge. So...

I can't believe that they are discussing your marriage inside and you are here making fun of me.

Bhaiya: The thing is that I know whatever they are saying inside is boring.

Behena: Then are you having fun fighting with me here?

Bhaiya: With you? Everything is fun.

Behena stares some more.

Me: Behena, you recognise flirting, no? This is by the way is a soon to be engaged guy with whom you are flirting here. 

You know, in real life, when a guy flirts with a girl while planning marriage with another, what we call him? DOUCHE BAG!!!

And you know what we call the girls who flirts with a guy knowing that he is planning his marriage with someone else? Yep. That applies to you.

You know, when the same thing is done by a villain or a vamp, we call them names. But everything is romantic when hero and heroine does it - like playing with a girl's emotions and life. All in the name of lau.


Nisha and her family leave. Radha says that they seem decent people.

Nisha comes back. She said that she left her purse there.

Bhaiya picks up the bag and looks at Sonakshi to hand it over.

Me: Bhaiya can't make an effort to cross the room to hand over the purse. He needs a minion.

Behena points that he should give it to her.

Bhaiya gets the point that he has to make the effort. Nisha feels awkward.

Bhaiya goes by Behena and whispers on the way: Thank you buddy.

Suddenly Nisha is about to fall. So Bhaiya catches her. Then Nisha and Bhaiya eyelock.

Ishwari feels awkward. Radha and Vicky are happy. Sonakshi is gritting her teeth.

Elena goes there and says: Aww so sweet. I have to admit that first Dev Bhai grabbed your bag and then grabbed you.

Me: Well, Bhaiya always had grabby hands. What can you do there?

But Behena, come on. Time to beg so that he can spare you some crumbs of attention. After all, if you don't behave like groupies, then how will jerks like Bhaiya will get their ego stroked? I mean without your kind, their kind will become extinct, no?


Suhana is smiling. Golu says: Suhana, what is going on? I don't like it. I will finish all this program right now.

Suhana: Golu, chill. Papa is there naa. He will handle everything. 

Golu: Right now he is handling that aunty. What will he handle?

Suhana: He will handle. You just watch.

Golu thinks there is a secret. Suhana refuses to tell but Golu insists.

Me: The thing is Suhana, Golu knows your father better than you. He has witnessed him handling many aunties over his short life span. You are only watching him in action right now. 

But it's okay. You are so impressed with your dad, that you don't mind watching your mother in pain. You can sense your dad's pain without him being even around you. But you can't see your mother's pain who raised you for 7 years. What a great daughter you are. In fact, you are as great daughter to your mother as your mother is to your grandfather. 

As I said, if CVs wanted to prove that all girls/women are ungrateful and disloyal lot who ditches the person who loves them, they are doing a fantastic job to portray it on screen.



Radha says that they are looking like Raj Kapoor and Nargis pair. 

Nisha feels awkward: No no aunty. I forgot my purse by mistake. Sorry. I am leaving.

Bhaiya is still making innocent face as if the last 7 years he was in a monastery.

Me: No comment. Hypocrisy bothers me.


Sonakshi is standing in Bhaiya's room and thinking about - How to live one's life with dignity and self-respect.

Just kidding. She is not wasting her time thinking useless stuff like that.

She is obviously thinking about Bhaiya and Nisha.

Me: I have a question. Tu ghar kab jayegi bey? Yeh kya dharamshala hain?

Soha comes there. 

She asks Sona: Are you angry with me?

Sona says: Yes, I am. You called me old Mamma and called that aunty new Mamma.

Soha: Then what can I call her? Now that's what I will have to call her, no? I really like her.

Sona says: Yes, you must like her. She is new. Everyone likes new. You don't call me old Mamma. Find someone to call Mamma. Okay?

Soha feels sad.

Sona feels bad for her: I am sorry. But I am your old Mamma, new Mamma, all Mamma. How would you like it if I call your best friend my new daughter?

Soha shakes her head.

Sona says: You won't like it, right? Then?

Soha says: Then our problem is solved. I won't call someone else my Mamma because you don't like it and you won't call someone else your daughter because I don't like it. But if Papa calls someone else his wife, will we like it?

Sonakshi thinks.

1. You and your mother had been mother and daughter since you were born and nothing can change that fact. Your Papa hasn't called your Mamma his wife in 8 years. 

2. But when you get married and you call your mother-in-law Mamma, your mother won't feel bad. Because then you will be making new relationships with new family. 

Because there is a difference between marital relationships and blood relationships.

Marital relationship is the choice of two people. Blood relationships are not a choice.


PRECAP: Bhaiya says that he doesn't want to wait any longer. Behena should set the date of his engagement as soon as possible.

Behena excitedly says: That's very good. 

Bhaiya: I am sure you are very happy, Miss Bose.
