Tia's Thread - Unravelling!!!
There is a saying that "There is no point closing the door after the horse has escaped".
What Dev and Sonakshi are doing, is exactly that.
First they jumped into confession without sorting their past and bitter feelings associated with it and now they are going backwards where they were both hurt and may be did something they aren't proud of.
Truth and knowledge are powerful. Together they empower people gaining confidence, trust and build stronger people and relationships.
That's why relationships whose foundation are laid with honesty and truth are seldom rocked by outside forces.
However, you can't build a relationship on a weak foundation and then add in truth as a repair system to hold it together like a duct tape.
Two things can happen in that scenario.
Either the truth will act like cement and make the foundation stronger. That is if the truth is not unforgivable.
Or the truth will act like water and damage whatever flimsy land you had built your relationship and make it crumble into pieces.
That's why, it's always good to build a relationship from the ground up and not top down.
As truth comes out and past starts to unravel, it might not only impact something you didn't think you have to face and now you can't pretend it away either. It may also be something which you may not able to forget and forgive.
What do you do then?
What do you do when you have involved two families and everyone associated with those people in your impulse scheme?
This is what I had been warning about when Bhaiya and Sonakshi decided to play games with each other and jump into a relationship because Ishwari said so.
So Bhaiya and Sonakshi better hope that the past is manageable. If it's not, they might just wake up a sleeping dragon to burn down their newly formed fragile compromise.
EPISODE: The episode starts with Bhaiya is at home.
Ishwari comes there. She thinks he is working which he never does.
Bhaiya lies that he was working.
Ishwari says: You do your work. I just came to give you this.
She is about to leave when Bhaiya calls her back: Maa, what is this?
Ishwari: Why are you making your face like that? Haven't you ever seen a wedding gift envelope before?
Bhaiya: Wedding gift?
At Bose house, Asha hands over Ishwari's wedding gift to Sonakshi.
She must have asked the same question.
Asha answers: Yes, wedding gift. Ishwari ji gave it for you.
Sonakshi: Maa, I am very happy but I didn't expect all this.
Bijoy is giddy with joy: Beta, even we didn't expect her to come so soon. But I am happy for you. I can't even believe now.
Me: Bijoy, you had been waiting for this day since Sonakshi first told you that she has fallen in love, didn't you? You wanted her in-laws to come and take your princess away like a cherished member of their family. Now it has finally happened.
Ronita also congratulated her. Saurabh offers to have a group hug.
But Sonakshi is not happy.
Asha notices Sonakshi's hesitance. She asks: What happened?
Bijoy is also surprised: Beta, you should have gone crazy with happiness.
Saurabh also asks: Do you know what this means?
It switches back to Dixit house where Ishwari must have asked the same question to Dev seeing his hesitation.
Bhaiya answers: Yes, I know what it means.
Ishwari laughs: If you know, why do you have such hang dog expression? Be happy. You also wanted this, no?
Mamaji comes there: I think you have told him everything. Look, I can't wait any more for this. Bridegroom is ready too, no?
Scene switches to Bose house.
Sonakshi says: I am not ready for marriage. I love Dev, but I am not ready for marriage.
Everyone is shocked.
At Dixit house, Bhaiya must have said the same thing.
Ishwari is shocked: What do you mean you are not ready? Bhaiya see, what is he saying? You also wanted this, no? You wanted Sonakshi back in your life again. Now she is back, then now the marriage will happen, no?
Again, Bose house.
Sonakshi: Marriage will happen. But not so soon. It just been two days since we accepted each other back. What's your hurry?
At Dixit house, Ishwari says: I am in a hurry. I want my daughter-in-law back in my home.
Bhaiya: And that will happen, Maa. We had married before. If you want we will marry again. But...
Bose house.
Dida says: But what Sona? I want to see you again in wedding alter with Dev. I want to see you in wedding attire.
Dixit house.
Bhaiya: But I can't do this marriage. Maa, I am not saying no. but not right now. When the wedding talk starts, both family will get involved in this. Then we won't be able to talk what's in our hearts, everyone will talk about what's in their heart. And right now, I just want to concentrate on Sonakshi.
Mamaji understands and nods.
At Bose house, Bijoy says: But we said yes to Ishwari ji. And if she came here that means Dev also said yes. Now we can't say no to her. She came here with lot of expectations. But if you don't want to say yes, you talk to Dev once.
Asha makes constipated face.
Sonakshi thinks.
Me: OMG... Where have you been? We missed you so much. Maturity aunty, you have been only occasionally peeking through random characters but you didn't grace the main leads with your presence. Finally you arrived.
Jokes apart, this was a very matured decision taken by Dev and Sonakshi. They know that twice they rushed into a relationship and the third time, they decided to take their time and build the strong foundation before dumping both family's burden of expectations on their relationship.
Bijoy was absolutely right. It's not their job to say no. Sonakshi should talk to Dev and only they should decide what they want to do.
Asha is always useless giving sensible and workable solution specially if people don't do what she says.
Sonakshi is frustrated. She says: Dev, why didn't you talk to me before? Now I...
Just then her phone rings.
She picks up the phone and it's Bhaiya.
Bhaiya: Sonakshi, what do you want?
Sonakshi: What do you want?
Bhaiya: I will do what you say.
Sonakshi: I will also do what you say.
Bhaiya: But I wanted to talk something to you before.
Sonakshi: I also wanted to talk to you. But you say it first.
Bhaiya: No you say it first.
Sonakshi: Dev, you can't take all decisions. I sent you the mails, no? Now say it.
Me: You gotta be kidding me. Seriously, maturity aunty? Itna chota guest appearance? (Such a short guest appearance). I blinked and missed you in next scene.
Okay folks, let's see here. This ain't playground where both of you are trying to make the other pick between two equally undesirable options.
First rule of a strong relationship is to be able to say to the other person what you want without hesitation.
It's not about I don't wanna, but I will do what you want.
It's about, I want this. Tell me what you want so that we can figure out if we want the same thing and if not, then if we can come to a mid-point where we each gets what he/she wants and gives up a little.
Bhaiya says: Okay fine. I was thinking that if we postpone this idea of this marriage? I mean for a little while? If you think it's alright.
Sonakshi is pleasantly surprised: Then you don't want to get married na?
Bhaiya stammers: I mean this is just my opinion. If you don't think the same, I am ready for marriage.
Sonakshi: Wait a minute. There's some confusion. Maa, came here with wedding gift. I thought that she must have talked to you and that's why...
Bhaiya: No actually I didn't know anything about this. Maa, just came to me with wedding gift envelope.
Me: Nothing new there. When does Ishwari ever tells Bhaiya before doing anything? That hasn't changed.
Sonakshi: Then you don't want to get married.
Bhaiya stammers some more: No, I mean if you don't think it's okay then... Please don't get angry. If you want we can still get married now.
Sonakshi smiles: Thank God, you also want this. I also said exactly this to Maa and Baba.
Bhaiya smiles: I thought you will get angry. But you also want the same thing.
Sonakshi: I thought you will get angry.
Bhaiya: I was wondering if you don't want to get married now, or ever?
Sonakshi: I don't want to get married now.
Bhaiya smiles: Thank you.
Sonakshi also says thank you.
They hang up the phone together.
Me: It's like watching two teenagers venturing into dating scene for the first time. They are literally walking on egg shells. What they need right now is to build comfort level with each other. Which will only happen if they spend time with each other, go on dates and not jump into anything serious. They have started this process. Let's see how long they can hold out in the face of family pressure.
Bhaiya sits down in the bed with the laptop and goes through Sonakshi's emails.
He finds the one she wrote when she came back to Delhi recently.
She writes about her memories with Delhi and how it got tainted because of her bad memories. She wishes she never come in front of Dev. She never wanted to even face Dev Dixit.
Bhaiya breaks down. He says: What have I done, Sonakshi? I never wanted to hurt you so much. What I have done?
He goes to the next email which is when Sonakshi was pregnant. She wrote about the flaw in her which he lied to hide, may be because of what they got separated, no longer exists. But they are incomplete because they are not together.
Flashback is shown Sonakshi writing the letter. She wrote that he refused to accept her back, but she wanted to tell him about the baby. She wanted to discuss names with someone, she wanted to argue with someone over possible genders. She wanted to be angry, but at that moment she was missing him.
Bhaiya is crying: Forgive me, Sonakshi. Forgive me. I am sorry I was not there with you at that time. When you needed me the most, I was not there with you.
Me: Bhaiya, your re-visiting Sonakshi's past is admirable. But you already know what she used to feel for you in the past 7 years. Now going through those emails are only going to hurt you. What you should do right now instead is to ask Sonakshi what she has gone through. Now that she is past the bitter feelings, she can tell you in factual manner how she survived and what she did until you met her again.
But what you are doing is basically masochism. I had been telling you to ask Sonakshi about her past. You want the facts, not the self-flogging you had decided to indulge in.
Had you written a diary, I'd tell Sonakshi to also skip reading it and just ask you.
But when do you two ever talk?
Sonakshi thinks about what Bhaiya said about his past. She says: I know, Dev. You are hiding something from me. And this is important for me to know what happened to you in 7 years. You are right. Until we get over these 7 years of separation, we won't be able to come closer.
Me: That's true. But are you sure Sonakshi that you will be able to handle anything that comes your way? Will you be able to be completely oblivious to his past which until now you pretended away? Once this Pandora's box opens, there is no going back. Not everyone is equipped to handle the truth.
Ishwari is tinkering in the kitchen.
Mamaji says: Your problem won't be solved by banging utensils. Will it?
Ishwari says: Problem? I have no problem?
Mamaji says: Really? You mean you are banging utensils to include the neighbours in your happiness? Tell me what it is.
Ishwari says: It's nothing as such. But I am not getting Dev and Sonakshi. I mean they love each other so much. They want to be together. They also have a 7 years old child together. But still they don't want to get married?
Mamaji laughs: Okay. So that's your problem?
Ishwari: It's not a problem. But I am not getting it at all. Are we so different from this generation that I am not understanding them at all? Or these two are different or I am thinking wrong? Am I wrong to want my family to be complete?
Mamaji: Look Ishwari. You yourself said that they have grown up. They know their own good. Whatever they are doing, they must have thought it through.
Ishwari: But what are they thinking...
Mamaji stops her: Ishwari, we have thought that they have decided to be together so they must get married. When they didn't do that, we got upset. But that's not it. They didn't say no for marriage. They will get married. They just need a little time to each other. And the best thing is that they are on the same track. They are not fighting each other. You should be happy about it and make a cup of tea for me.
Ishwari is pouting. But agrees to make a cup of tea.
Me: I can understand your confusion, Ishwari. In your generation, everything was preset. You get to a certain age, you get married. After a certain time has passed, you get pregnant. If you want more kids, then periodically repeat that process. Then devote yourself forgetting that you used to be an individual raising said children. Then kids grow up and get married/move out and you retire and basically spend your time playing with grandkids/at religious places/cribbing about in-laws until you die.
But in our generation, we want to set our own timeline and rules of our own life.
We want to get married, if we want, when we want, to whom we want.
We want to be parents, also if we want, when we want, whether on our own or with a partner.
We want to be ourselves and give ourselves attention along with raising kids. We didn't cease to exist the day we became parents.
And when we retire, we want to re-discover ourselves and spend the time until death making memories.
But Mamaji, I am glad that you are showing your sensibilities. Frankly, I thought Asha will be the first person to come up with this explanation since she seems to be most people's idea of sense and sensibility. But since she was sulking like Ishwari, it's safe to say now that Asha only speaks sense but never follows it through specially when she doesn't get her own way.
Thanks CVs for proving her main aim once again which is to get Sonakshi married, pronto as if her expiration date is coming closer.
Sonakshi is trying to reach Dev but she is not being able to reach him. She keeps trying but she gets messages in Bengali.
Finally, Bhaiya picks up the phone. Sonakshi says: Hello, can you hear me? Why is your phone not reachable? And why am I getting messages in Bengali? Is your phone out of service?
Bhaiya says: Sonakshi, I am in Kolkata.
Sonakshi is shocked.
Me: Sorry to interrupt. But Bhaiya is into checks these days. I swear someone is supplying checks fabrics by truck load. However, today's checks are not eyeball twisting. At least it's dark fabric with very faint checks.
Sonakshi asks: Kolkata? What are you doing there? And why didn't you tell me?
Bhaiya says: I am in that hospital where you used to come for your check ups during pregnancy.
Sonakshi asks: But what are you doing there?
Bhaiya: Sonakshi, I can't miss the past 7 years of your life. You lived those 7 years alone. The pain you felt, I want to feel that too. You read love stories, no? You tell me, if someone tears off some pages from the middle, how will you feel? Our love story is just like that. Until I find those missing pages, it won't become complete.
Sonakshi asks: When are you coming back?
Bhaiya says: I will return today.
Sonakshi: You went to find my past 7 years alone. Why didn't you tell me? I also wanted to share my past 7 years with you. I also wanted to feel my pain with you. And what you want to complete you can't complete alone.
Me: Welcome to Sadism and Masochism convention. Sonakshi, you are right and wrong. You should have been with Bhaiya. Not to relive the pain (Honestly, who the eff does that?), but to share the happier times and remember the moments with baby Suhana like how much she weighed at birth, her first smile, her first attempt to walk, her first word, your first success, your first achievement etc.
Instead Bhaiya is roaming in Kolkata exercising masochism and you are sad that you didn't get to exercise yours. You two are honestly strange.
Bhaiya: No Sonakshi. Your past 7 years and my past 7 years are very different. You had Suhana, your light, your sun. You had hope, but I had no hope. I was surrounded by dark. I had no reason to live. If you peek into the darkness, you will see nothing. So don't look into my past.
Me: Bhaiya, it sounds very sad and painful. But that's a good excuse to keep Sonakshi from finding out what you had cooked up in the past. Methinks that you did something wrong and now scared shit that Sonakshi will find out and leave you. But don't worry. Sonakshi has no way out now.
Sonakshi says: Please come back soon.
Bhaiya agrees.
Sonakshi hangs up the phone and says: Darkness can happen due to absence of light or unwillingness to open one's eyes. What do you think, Dev? You are protecting me by not talking about your past? But I want to know about the past 7 years. If you are with me, then even darkness can't scare me. And if you don't want to tell me anything, then I will find out from Maa.
Me: And the interfering queen is back, again going behind people's back. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU BUILD RELATIONSHIP. Talking and sharing are so overrated in TV land. I swear, no one wants to do the most obvious things here.
Bhaiya comes to the room where Suhana was born. He touches the cradle where she must have been put after birth and sits down on the bed Sonakshi gave birth to.
He is sad.
Then he comes to the ob-gyn's office. He says: She had brought my Suhana here.
He imagines the scene when Sonakshi came there for check up.
He imagines that the ob-gyn must have asked about him and Sonakshi must have told her that they are not together and felt sad about him not being there. She must have even paid the bills herself.
He cries: I wish I was there with you then when you needed me the most. I wish I was there with you then, Sonakshi.
Me: Okay, we get it. You are sad. Boo hoo. But how is this helping you learning about her past? You are just creating the most sad scene in your head and self-flogging yourself. Won't it be better for you to have the facts from the horse's mouth as in Sonakshi vs. imagining the saddest scenes in your head? I mean what the eff, Bhaiya. Pehle galti karke bhi guilty feel karte nehin the, aur ab akele hi guilt trip mein nikal liye.
(Before you didn't even feel guilty after committing mistakes, now you left on your guilt trip alone)
Soha comes to Sonakshi. It seems that Sonakshi is in Dixit house.
Soha says: Mamma, I just watched a dream about Papa.
Sonakshi says: About Papa? But Papa is with you now.
Soha: Yes, but this dream is different. I was not a big girl here.
Sonakshi: Then?
Soha: I was a small baby. Like the one you hold in lap. Papa was smiling at me and talking to me. Then he tickled me and I started smiling.
Sonakshi is shocked.
Soha asks: What happened, Mamma? You are not believing me, no?
Sonakshi slowly shakes her head.
Soha says: When I was a child, did Papa come to meet me?
Me: Bhaiya, only four things can explain this.
1. There is another child you got who no one knows about (more likely), which Suhana thinks is her.
2. The child is Golu (also possible).
3. You came to Kolkata and knew about Sonakshi's pregnancy all these times. But then, it doesn't make sense why you got so overwhelmed to find out about Suhana and kept blaming Sonakshi for not bringing her to you.
OR,
4. It's just a dream of Soha
But why do I feel that you have something to hide?
Sonakshi sits down to Suhana's level and says: No, he didn't. But he was never separated from us. He was close to us.
Soha says: But Kolkata and Delhi are 1,447 km apart naa.
Sona says: Yes, if you count kms, then it's very far. But the people we love, we don't count their distance by kms, we count them by heart.
Soha: Means?
Sona: Means that we were always close to Papa's heart. And shall I tell you a secret? Papa always knew that when the right time comes, he will be with us and see, this is the right time. We are all together.
Soha says: But if Papa never came to meet me, why did I have this dream?
Sona: Because God wants that you always remember that you were never alone. Papa was always with us. We might have been away, but he always had his eyes on us. He loves us very much.
Soha smiles. Sonakshi hugs her.
Sonakshi then comes to Ishwari's room. Ishwari sees her and asks her to sit down.
Sonakshi smiles and sits on the bed.
Ishwari is folding clothes. Sonakshi starts helping her.
Ishwari tells her to let it be.
Sonakshi says: I know you can do everything. But if I don't help you, I won't feel good.
Ishwari smiles.
Sonakshi says: I am sorry.
Ishwari asks: But why?
Sonakshi says: The decision Dev and I took about marriage... Actually we didn't want to hurt you. Are you upset with me?
Ishwari says: Am I looking upset to you? No, Sonakshi. I am not sad. I just eager to have this daughter with me forever.
Sonakshi says: Whatever rituals has to be done, we will complete soon. But we want to do them with our total attention. We just need some time.
Ishwari: I don't want to put pressure on you. I just want to change what hurts me. In past 7 years this house has lost a lot.
Sonakshi: I also missed this house a lot. But now, I have returned to this house, to you. Now I won't go anywhere. Actually I wanted to ask you about the past 7 years to you. But before I... But now, I can ask naa?
Ishwari: You call me Maa. Yet you have to think so much to ask me anything? You can ask me whatever you want.
Sonakshi: I want to ask you about Neha, Nikki and Riya. Since I came here, I haven't seen them nor I have seen talking to them. Where are they?
Ishwari feels sad.
Me: The funniest thing is that Ishwari is more desperate for Sonakshi's company and vice versa, than Bhaiya and Sonakshi. They are awkward, walking on eggshells, exploring each other's past on their own.
And here Ishwari and Sonakshi are comfortable, have honest conversation and openness between them.
In season one, I watched Bhaiya and Ishwari's love story, and in season two, we are watching Ishwari and Sonakshi's love story. Bhaiya aur Sonakshi ka number kab aayega?
(When will Bhaiya and Sonakshi's number come?)
PRECAP: Sonakshi tells Ishwari: If you don't want to talk about this, then it's alright.
Ishwari says: No, Sonakshi. If I don't tell you, then whom will I say? Whom will I say that I have missed my daughters' love?
Sonakshi says: You can't talk to Dev?
Ishwari says: How can I talk to Dev when he is responsible for this pain of mine?
Sonakshi is shocked.
Me: Bhaiya, what did you do? I am sure, Ishwari is not completely blameless. But between the two of you (as in the previous versions) are enough to wreck havoc in pretty much anywhere.
But wait a minute. Didn't I see in the beginning of season two Ishwari talking to Neha on the phone and Radha complaining that she wanted to talk to Neha as well?
NO RULES!!! YAY!!!

NO RULES!!! YAY!!!
I m glad they chose to show the letter and devs grief for not being there for her. Now his side of story too coming. Not to sound pessimistic but why I feel this is gonna be justification for his sleeping around /no no nothing happened it was just hotel room no sex.
ReplyDeleteNever thought this day would come that I would take ish/mamaji scene over Bose house. They have made them (minus bijoy) that irritating. Even dida. Like for old people marriage is last, tel lene Gaya healing and wooing and dating and trying to understand each other eh? Gosh.
True. Only bijoy makes sense. The others hav the most ridiculous dialogues. One big shaadi express they are.
DeleteI know, right? I never thought either that I will find Bose house annoying except Bijoy Bose. They sound like they all have smoked regress ever after drug and on permanent high. Annoying as eff.
DeletePoor Bijoy must be suffocating there.
So based on the pre-cap, Ishwari blames Dev for separating the girls from their beloved mother. Ishwari was a horrible human yet she is never to blame for the mess she alone created it's always someone else's fault. It's frustrating that Ishwari is never made to face the consequences of all/any of her wrong doings especially a lot of her issues were just her over exaggerating the situation and only thinking about herself. Everyone is quick to forgive her or tell her it was never her fault, like really?
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling. This will make sona more guilty of leaving Dev and will try to sort out their issues. Wonder why don't cvs show the struggles bose house faced coz of Dev. It's not easy being homeless and penniless. They are too perky, sunny and fawning over dev without any mention of what they must hav gone through. Did I mention Asha is irritating as he'll nowadays.
DeleteWhy not? Ishwari is always Goddess. She is never at fault. If she is absolved completely in Sonakshi's case, then why not she be completely absolved in Bhaiya's case? I said it before, Ishwari is the only of the show. Bhaiya is the eternal moron and Sonakshi is his handler.
DeleteHmm...cvs are going to just touch sona's past and move on.. is sona's struggle was limited to her missing dev during pregnancy? Cvs...and their story😪
ReplyDeleteNow it's going to be all dev's struggle..i don't deny even man suffer staying away from wife..but I feel they are going to show big suffering from dev.. and sona going to cry her heart out hearing that😂
What happened to asha's writing? Cvs are just flipping story...
Yeah true what abt jobless having to support bose family, building that empire. But hey we hav lot of Dixit drama lined up
DeleteAsha has no time to write. She is busy meddling.
DeleteSonakshi's past should have come out with Sonakshi. But instead Bhaiya went on a guilt trip, literally.
Then it will be Sonakshi's turn to go on her guilt trip.
It's so frustrating. These two keep going on trips on their own despite saying that they'd rather concentrate on each other. Well then spend time together and talk instead of coochie cooing and flirting, you morons.
Did not get why dev went alone to colcatta..when he sat on the bed..i felt come on..how many pregnant woman must have slept on that bed...what feeling he wants...wasn't feeling guilty reading thru emails. What feeling he will get visiting hospital alone. If he wanted to know that much..both could go together feel everything together..it will be beautiful feeling.
DeleteComing to dev...in case if he had physical relation with some one...for Sonakshi what is the big deal to forgive him when she can forgive him for their eviction, father's humility...
But I hope they won't take pati patni aur woh track..
Yeah this show is throwing out some really bad lessons. So now Dixit sisters are gonna be back, blaming sona of breaking Dev's heart. So now sona is gonna be all guilty and gonna listen to their baseless accusations. Coz hey she decided to listen to her self respect and took a sabbatical from her miss Dixit role. Lot of torture lined up guys
DeleteFrankly, I understand why Bhaiya wants to explore the past 7 years. What I don't understand is why he wants to do it on his own. Isn't part of bonding/understanding process is spending time together and going on a journey together? Sometimes Dev Dixit and Sonakshi Bose are beyond my straight forward understanding.
Deletewow tia awesome writing
ReplyDeletebest--Either the truth will act like cement and make the foundation stronger. That is if the truth is not unforgivable.
Or the truth will act like water and damage whatever flimsy land you had built your relationship and make it crumble into pieces.
i skipped whole last week but this week seems the story going backward i don't know what writers are up to this time i some how think yet again dev gona break sona heart for sure the guilt will over power the love i feel .
guilt, love and ego these 3 weakness in a man .
i laugh at the change dev now because the time he needs to redempt he never did but now time to let go past he wants to go backwards seems god forgot to instal brain properly .
no offense ...
lets see this drama too tia story ko raita bana di jo plate me fale gaya lol
Thanks Shailu. The story is going forward but the characters are going backwards. It's like they have decided to finally whine about the past. Why the eff didn't they do it instead of Sonakshi forcing Bhaiya for marriage and Bhaiya playing games with Nisha?
DeleteIt would have saved heartbreak of innocent people.
I know, right? Aisa ulta to sirf Bhaiya hi chal sakte hain.
wahi tho how many ppl got hurt in this process the first match of sona, ritwick, jatin ,struthi, natasha and now nisha
Deleteas u know struti said once if some one comes in between get mad and it 's true bijoy /ishwari are good example ..
these 2 are kids who need babysitter golu and soha are more matured ..
when will dev grow up and when will sona be normal not mahaan atma...
3 sisters of dev story coming up looks like forced one .
2 sister left because of sona hajmola effect and neha- ranveer lol ishwari realized they could have patched up
arey tia seems 7 yrs was piece of joke after 7 yrs realization (bees saal baad types)lol🤣
Exactly. It's like Bhaiya is like Mr. Eff it and Sonakshi is Miss Fix It. Give it a rest. We don't need another super woman Bahu types on screen.
DeleteDev Bhaiyya and Sona are such a mismatch. And I don't think CVs are gonna show any mature conversation between the two. They will whitewash Dev into a Mahaan...and that's it Sona will go crawling back to Dixit house.
ReplyDeleteSona has already gone back crawling to Dixit house. Actually the competition is between who can be more Mahaan. Good Lord.
DeleteHi Tia :D
ReplyDeleteI was happy with yday's epi since DevD was crying for Sona's pain. I had so long wished for these scenes where he gets to understand what kind of a jerk he was for not contacting her during all those times...I'm happy happy.
Coming to Boses, they hav turned soooo sweet tht its giving me diabetes...LOL. Except Bijoy, I dont bother to like any other.
Loved your take as usual. And agree they shud spend time each other.
Oh yes, I'm so vry glad they both didnt jump into the marriage asap....LOL
So, overall I was happy with the episode.
Thanks Gauri. Oh I don't have problem Bhaiya crying from Sona's pain. My issue is how he is doing it alone using his imagination. Instead, I'd rather him feeling the emotions with Sonakshi as she leads him through her past. And that's how I wanted Sonakshi to explore his past, him holding her hands and navigating through it.
DeleteBecause what Bhaiya is doing now is relying on his imagination which might be true but not the only truth. May be Bijoy, Asha, Saurabh or Jatin came with her. She might head been missing him as is normal but might also had company and a shoulder to cry on.
Instead Bhaiya is coming up with the most pitiful situation to blame himself. By all means, blame himself for his faults, but make sure he is going on the right guilt trip.
That was my problem.
As for Bose family, except Bijoy everyone looks OTT to me these days.
I got you Tia.
DeleteI have so low expectations from the show with regards to Dev's character that his crying made me so happy. Call me a sadist but I actually was happy to see him in pain, crying for not being there for her. His realisation that what it wud have meant for her, for that any pregnant woman, to go to visit docs alone. If she is his love, only love, I cant imagine a guy doing what he did to his lady love...so yes, his tears made me happy.
During my pregnancy, two ppl were thr always besides me , my mom and my husband. My husband took outmost care, pampered him, understood my tantrums....I always thank him for those times and we remember those good memories during child birth together.
So, I held it against Dev always that how come he never bothered to know about her , particularly after claiming to love her so much? Aise love ka kya karun, achhar dalun? Practically this kind of love is no love. Being THE DEV DIXIT, how is it he was never even curious after the Shimla night. Till today, I hadnt forgiven Dev for his callousness in this matter.
Yday epi made me feel just better.
I totally get you. I actually liked the fact that Bhaiya is willingly exploring Sonakshi's past for a change instead of whining about his. He needs to understand her struggle to truly appreciate her achievements. Just like Sonakshi needed to know Bhaiya's childhood struggles to appreciate his achievements.
DeleteBhaiya talked about himself way too much for way too long. It's time for him to ask the right question and listen. But I wish he had done it instead of using his imaginations.
You are right. When a woman is expecting, she needs her husband the most. Because a baby is part of both of them. Sonakshi missed that and had to do everything on her own.
Dev left Sonakshi, not knowing then she had Soha. Sonakshi left Dev knowing he had his beloved mother. She had no inkling he had severed his affection for his mother and had no reason to live. Dev had every knowledge that the Boses are jobless, homeless and in a new city.
DeleteConsidering the above scenario, Dev with his money and power and Sona on the streets(literally), facing all struggles alone, who wud anyone blame for not reconciling?
The difference here is Dev had all the resources but not the will to find her or even know about her. Sonakshi had nothing but fear that with money, power, she wont be able to feed her child.
If I come to think of it, I want to see Dev crying some more....LOL
Atleast Ishwari had 4 kids not infants and she had a job. Consider this, Bijoy retired, Sourabh jobless, Sonakshi pregnant and divorced. I cant even imagine what she must hav gone thru. Sonakshi held her ground, we can say her family helped her, but during pregnancy, without husband's emotional support to think how to sustain your family financially is way too much for any woman. This is one reason why I like Sonakshi Bose more than Dev Dixit. Her resilient nature and strength to fight all odds.
I find her more strong than Ishwari.
Dev-Sonakshi ka number aayega...when Soha will decide to marry.
ReplyDeleteOnly then they'll have their actual love story...LOL
So, enjoy Season-2 Ish-Sona lovestory..can we give them a name?
Like Sonaswari, Ishakshi, Sonwari? LOL
Yes, we have to wait for season3! ;) Buddha Dev and Buddhi Sonakshi will have heart to heart talk! LOL
DeleteFrankly I don't even know if their turn will come in this life. I swear they love going on their own behind each other's back more than they like fixing/handling/experiencing things together. Each wants to be a superhero for the other on their own and not a team. I don't understand what's the point of being together then?
DeleteI understand Tia, but I loved how Dev was reliving those moments, places where Sona had gone thru so much pain. I soooo wanted Dev to realize what it is to thru maternity without husband not being by her side. A part of me was satisfied when Dev was in tears and felt sorry that he could not be with Sona at such a crucial juncture. If Dev had talked with Sona, she would have smoothed the rough edges, I wanted Dev to experience the rough edges and smoothen it for Sona. Sona did not get any pampering during her pregnancy from Dev, let him make up for that!
ReplyDeleteMy wish for Dev pampering Sona might be short lived! :D The precap I think again will bring forth the eternal helper/solver/saviour, Sona to iron out differences between Dev and his sisters!
It is apparently as per the new spoiler the sisters now blame sona for distancing dev from them.
DeleteOh great, so they will be mini versions of Ishwari! :(
DeleteOh me too. Except I wanted Bhaiya to do it with Sonakshi and not alone. This is what I wrote in another reply.
DeleteOh I don't have problem Bhaiya crying from Sona's pain. My issue is how he is doing it alone using his imagination. Instead, I'd rather him feeling the emotions with Sonakshi as she leads him through her past. And that's how I wanted Sonakshi to explore his past, him holding her hands and navigating through it.
Because what Bhaiya is doing now is relying on his imagination which might be true but not the only truth. May be Bijoy, Asha, Saurabh or Jatin came with her. She might head been missing him as is normal but might also had company and a shoulder to cry on.
Instead Bhaiya is coming up with the most pitiful situation to blame himself. By all means, blame yourself for your faults, but make sure you are going on the right guilt trip.
That was my problem.
@Mily, Jas, Seriously? Honestly these people never ceases to amaze me on how they conveniently forget the contributions of their own family members and pass on the blame to others. It sounds like Dixits have horse blinders when it comes to family.
Dev lies, blame Sonakshi. Neha dumped Ranveer for money, blame Sonakshi. Sonakshi could not take mental torture and left and brother became douche, blame Sonakshi for not limiting brother's douchy attitude to herself. Bhai wah!!! Kya logic hain.
Worst thing is sona accepts it. Never tries to correct them
DeleteSonakshi and defend herself? Ghanta. If Bhaiya has a permanant ticket booked for guilt trip, Sonakshi owns the touring company.
DeleteI've tweeted MamtaYPatnaik asking whether Dixit sisters now blame sona for global warming as well.
ReplyDeleteGood one mily.
DeleteGood for you. In fact, also ask her if we should also blame Sonakshi for Trump administration. After all she is the favourite scapegoat for everything these days.
DeleteYeah. I tweeted her and shaheer saying mogambo is the favourite character of krpkab. I can't do a lot. They might feel irritated.
DeleteLet me pitch in...if it matters.
DeleteLast time, I was giving advice to Erica on Bengali pronunciation....haha
Tia, or any Bongs here
ReplyDeletedid you observe the name of the hospital
"CHATARJI"...ROFLing...this PH is defo ruining bengali lang.
I expected Patnaik's being Oriya wud have known better.
Delete
