Tia's Thread - Choices!!!
Announcement: Most of the readers of this blog seems to have lost interest in the show. So I will make this blog short and sweet from now on.
Hope you all have a great weekend ahead.
EPISODE: The episode starts with Bhaiya is sitting on the windowsill and thinking about people misbehaving with Ishwari in the past.
Ishwari is also standing by the window in her room and thinking. Mamaji consoles her.
Nikki is also thinking sitting on the bed. Lakshya brings her something to drink (?). She doesn't want it. But Lakshya puts a blanket on her and hugs her. Nikki lies down to sleep in Lakshya's arms.
Me: I am thinking. No, I really am. After seeing this live-in couple and comparing them to the married lead of ours, I think a lot of girls will decide to opt out of marriage. I mean if CVs wanted to make people think that marriage is romance killer, they have really succeeded. No wonder Nikki doesn't want to "The End" her love life by getting married.
But as someone who is in a romantic marriage, don't worry. Marriage is romantic with the right partner.
Asha is thinking in Bose house.
Me: Why? What is her problem?
Bhaiya is thinking in his house. And Sonakshi is looking at Bhaiya from the stairs in the garden.
Then Bhaiya is lying on the bed and Sonakshi is staring at him from the door.
Next morning, she is still standing at the door staring at Bhaiya.
Me: I don't get it. I am trying to understand why Sonakshi isn't doing what Lakshya is doing? I mean Bhaiya is on his pity party and she is the silent audience? WTH?
And by the way, who can stand all night at the door in the same position? Won't they get leg cramp, dizzy, tiredness etc?
Is she a robot or alien?
Jassi comes to Sonakshi and says that Asha came there.
Sonakshi is surprised. But she agrees to go down.
Jassi leaves.
Sonakshi comes in, puts the blanket on Bhaiya, caresses his hair and leaves.
Bhaiya is still sleeping.
Asha is telling Ishwari that she thought that Ishwari must have told them everything. But when she wasn't picking up the phone, Asha got worried.
Me: Seriously? So you thought that since she isn't picking up the phone, it's perfectly okay to drop in? Isn't it possible that they might not want to talk to you right now or just busy with something else?
Sonakshi comes there and asks Asha why is she here?
Asha says that she came to see Ishwari...
Sonakshi looks at Ishwari and Asha's face and comes to the right conclusion that Asha already knew about all this.
Asha nods. Ishwari says that she took inspiration from her to do something on her own. Asha helped her a lot. She helped her find a job, kept meeting her, encouraging her.
Ishwari says sorry to Asha for wasting her time because she can't go back to work again.
She offers to make them tea.
Sonakshi stops Ishwari and says that no one needs tea here.
She makes her sit and says: I know that you are disturbed with Dev's reaction. But I also know why he is reacting like that. You have got a chance to do something for yourself. You always did everything for your children and spent your life living for them. Don't lose this chance. We will convince Dev, naa. Like he has the right to take the decision for his life, you also have the right to take decision for your life. You have to fight for your life. Even if it's against Dev.
Ishwari looks at her sadly.
Me: Well, the concept is good, the dialogues are inappropriate.
First of all, Ishwari is Bhaiya's mother. How will he be able to stop her by sulking?
Secondly, Ishwari doesn't need to fight Bhaiya for her rights. She just has to stand firm in her decision and keep trying to convince Bhaiya. He can hardly sulk forever.
Thirdly, why no one utilises the stronger force here? Once Suhana tells Bhaiya how proud she is to see her grandmother working, Bhaiya will melt like cotton candy in a hot day.
Sonakshi excuses herself and goes upstairs.
She got coffee (tea?) for Bhaiya.
He wakes up. She greets him.
Bhaiya is still sulking that his wife didn't say that his mother is wrong and only he is right.
He says that she didn't need to bring it. She could have sent Jassi.
Sonakshi says that people say after a good sleep, anger goes down a bit, problem gets solved. But they must be wrong.
Bhaiya tries to say something when Sonakshi says that she didn't come there to talk about him and his mother. That's their problem. They should solve it themselves. She just came to check his mood because he doesn't look good angry.
Bhaiya again tries to speak.
Sonakshi interrupts him again and says that she made the tea today.
Bhaiya drinks the tea.
Sonakshi says: It's not good, no? But will you take the blame of this also on yourself?
Bhaiya asks: Means?
Sonakshi says: Means you are not responsible for all problems. Everyone is not suffering because of you. Everyone can solve their own problem, handle their own issues.
Then she comes closer, holds his hand and says: Dev, if you take so much burden on yourself, then how will you live? People with big heart often face the same situation. I know you love your family very much. You always take their problems on yourself. You fight for them. And there's no one else like this. Just you. That's why I think I am the luckiest wife in the world. In fact, you also taught me how to keep my family before myself. I am so proud of you.
Bhaiya says: You aren't angry with me?
Sonakshi says: I should be. But I didn't came to get angry with you. I came here to share your burden.
Bhaiya says: I don't know how you understand everything so fast. May be I need time to understand all this. You are very understanding.
Sonakshi says: Actually, there is a very simple formula for this. Put yourself in someone else's shoes. So I put myself in your shoes and everything got clear. No anger, no worry. So Dev, can you do this too?
Bhaiya keeps looking at Sonakshi with a pouty face.
Me: A few things I liked today.
1. Sonakshi didn't jump all over Bhaiya to go on Mission Ishwari. She said that he should handle his issues with his mother. She is just there to share his burden.
2. She also didn't go all preachy. But she pointed out that just like she put herself in his place, Bhaiya should do the same for Ishwari.
3. She also told him that he is not responsible for every family member's problems and just because they decided to be independent, it's not his failure as a provider.
I think this is where the problem lies.
Bhaiya comes down and overhears Ishwari telling Asha that it's not that she is regretting taking the decision she took or she is ashamed of it.
Asha says that she should not stop then.
Bhaiya doesn't like that.
Ishwari says that she is not stopping because of her, she is stopping because of Bhaiya. He hasn't seen her working for a lot of years. She always had fear that he won't be happy with her job. And if he isn't happy, then what's the point of her working. She can't do this.
Me: Now now, Ishwari. Bhaiya may not have seen you employed for a lot of years. But don't say that he hasn't seen you working. You had been doing what generally a 24/7 butler does. The only difference is that the butler gets paid and you didn't.
But you were still working from morning until late. Now that Radha has taken that work, you have the right to decide which work you'd rather do.
There were a lot of decision Bhaiya took that you weren't happy with. He took it saying that it was his life, his decision. So him sulking now because the table is turned is not fair.
Asha says that she should make Bhaiya understand.
Bhaiya doesn't like that.
Ishwari sees him and starts to say that today she is at home so if he'd like to have breakfast with her.
But Bhaiya as usual ignores her and storms off.
Me: I am kind of surprised just how much attitude Ishwari take from Bhaiya. If my husband behaved like that, my mother-in-law would have called his full name and tell him that he is still her son and she is still his mother. If he can't behave with her with all due respect, then he can get out of her home.
I mean Bhaiya expects people to listen to him but he refuses to listen to others. I am getting seriously mad at his attitude.
Not to mention, he didn't even greet Asha. He just ignored her and walked away.
Had Bijoy behaved like that, Asha would have schooled him on manners and rude attitude.
At NIL, Lakshya asks Raman to send him a presentation. Also, he asks Raman to check with Intern Aunty before sending the final copy.
Raman says that the presentation is in English, so...
Lakshya says something which I didn't get. But he tells Raman that he has to show it to Ishwari and she will understand.
Raman tells him that she hasn't come in yet.
Lakshya says that he should call and ask her when she'd come.
Raman walks away.
Nikki comes there.
Lakshya is pleasantly surprised. He asks what is she doing there? If she planned a surprise.
Nikki says that the surprise is to surprise him.
Lakshya says that there's no better surprise than her.
Nikki asks where is Intern Aunty.
Lakshya says that she hasn't come yet. But she should meet her. She will be really happy to meet her.
Me: Well, sweetie. That is kind of debatable.
But Ishwari bunked work on the right day.
Nikki says that it seems Intern Aunty did magic on everyone.
Lakshya says that she did magic on everyone in the office just like Nikki did on him. But her magic is different. She is their lucky charm.
Nikki says: Lucky charm?
Lakshya says: She is a bit old fashioned. Out office needed someone like her to fill the gap. It's just like how you came into my life and filled all the gaps. Nice knowing you, Intern Aunty.
Nikki giggles.
Me: Awww... Lakshya is so adorable. He is always sweet and cuddly to Nikki.
Sigh!!! And here the grown ups are busy sulking over petty stuff.
Seriously?
At Bose house, Bijoy and Saurabh is selecting pictures for Asha.
Saurabh likes one and Bijoy likes the other.
Bijoy wants Asha to look intelligent because she is a writer.
Saurabh says that he doesn't know PR.
Just then Asha comes home angry.
Me: Again, why the heck?
Saurabh asks for her opinion about the photo. Asha says that she doesn't want to answer any question, right now.
Bijoy asks why is she angry?
Asha says: I felt like scolding him so much...
Bijoy: Scold whom?
Asha says: I said naa Bijoy. No questions.
Then she notices Saurabh and Bijoy's expression and asks why were they fighting?
Bijoy says that Saurabh wanted to do PR for her book for some reason. So they were selecting picture for that.
Asha says: PR for my book is some reason?
Bijoy says: Asha, you are a writer. For that you have to have a good book. Book will be sold as it is. We are hardly selling oil. We are selling books. Okay. Now that you are here, make us a cup of tea. Until then we will look for a picture.
Asha snarls: Look, no one has to decide anything for me. I can do it on my own. I can do my own work. If I have to do PR for my book, I can do it too. Whether it is to sell my book or sell oil. And anyone who wants tea, they can make it on their own. I don't have time for that.
Then she turns to Saurabh: Whatever picture you have, you use them. And if you want more pictures, I will decide them on my own.
She storms off as Saurabh is babbling.
Bijoy shushes Saurabh and says that she got angry because of him. Saurabh says that he didn't do anything, he brought up the oil.
Bijoy says if that picture gets published in anger, there will be queue of romers outside.
Saurabh laughs and says that he might has to stand in the queue too.
Bijoy worries.
Me: Don't worry, Bijoy. No one will even think about taking Asha on. Who wants a woman who is forever preaching and never following the same?
However, jokes apart, Asha's attitude once again pissed me off.
Let me count them here.
1. So Bhaiya's selfish attitude made Asha mad and she felt like scolding him. Why didn't she then? She goes around claiming to be his friend, then why didn't she tell him that he is not listening to what his mother wants?
2. She came home mad where Bijoy and Saurabh were bickering. Bijoy put his point of view very politely.
Considering just two days ago she was hiding from press and didn't want any publicity, how would Bijoy know that now she wants it?
And even if she does, then when they stopped asking her questions and she was obviously in a shitty mood, why did she ask them what were they up to? She should have walked away like she keeps telling Bijoy he should do.
3. Bijoy asked for a cup of tea, she could have just said that they can make it on their own in a better tone. But she turned her anger on Bhaiya on Bijoy. Why? Because he is her punching bag.
I was thinking why I am unable to deal with Sonakshi after Bhaiya and her got together. Because she reminds me of Asha who downright insults and misbehaves with her husband and takes him for granted while lecturing about marriage and marital relationship.
Hypocrisy was never palatable for me.
Besides I fail to see why it's her problem whether Ishwari decides to work or Bhaiya gives in. Even Sonakshi refused to interfere. But her meddling is never ending.
In Season one, people blamed Bijoy for interfering. But he never interfered when Sonakshi was happy. He only interfered when she was not happy.
But Asha butts in even when Sonakshi is happy. Ishwari isn't her mother-in-law.
Anyhoo, Raman calls Ishwari and asks if she has the book for computer and papers. She got a computer book and a letter from IT. She says that she was going to tell him that she can't come in today.
Raman says that Lakshya said that they have a presentation which won't go without her approval.
Ishwari is happy: What? Really? Lakshyaji said so?
Raman says: Yes. So please do something or my work will get stuck.
Ishwari says that she will try.
Raman says: No worries, I will email you. And once you go through it, mail me the changes.
Ishwari says that she will try for sure.
Raman thanks her and says that she is the best.
Ishwari finds a laptop and tries to log in using the IT letter.
She got an email address.
So she is trying to figure out how to log in.
She reads her book and tries. But she gets disappointed when it doesn't work. She says that she knew that she won't be able to do it.
Then she tells her to calm down. She couldn't even use food processor on the first day, but now she uses it.
Then it starts. So Ishwari gets happy.
Sonakshi is watching Ishwari from the door.
Ishwari then mutters to herself where did the symbol for letter go.
Sonakshi smiles.
Then Ishwari finds it. Then she puts her email address there. Then she puts the "key" to the email which she chose "Devrath".
Sonakshi smiles huge and thinks: Mr. Obhodro, you don't even know how many beautiful moments you are missing out. I wish you could witness Maa's win too.
Me: Bhaiya and actually be in beautiful moments? No, he pencils in sulking during those times. Everything something good happens, he is no where to be found. Then he goes on a guilt trip after everything is over and whines about the moments lost.
He could have for once stayed back to ask her questions and prepare to hear the answers. But nope. Bhaiya is permanent runaway every time he doesn't get his way.
At night, Vicky comes home angry.
Radha asks what happened?
Vicky says that so much happened at this house and she didn't tell him about Ishwari's job.
Me: If you were around, you could have known yourself. You scoot, no loot.
Radha says that so what? It's a hobby of her. She will forget it soon. Even Dev is angry with her. She had told Ishwari not to work if Bhaiya doesn't want.
Vicky asks if that's what she said to Ishwari.
Radha says yes.
Vicky gets angry. He says that as it is they aren't getting opportunities. When they get it, she wastes them. If Ishwari goes out for work, who will control this house? Her. She should take advantage of this situation.
Radha takes out the keys and jingles them. She says what are these? Keys. So she already has control of this house. Sonakshi herself gave back those keys to her. Did she forget? Even she knows who is the queen of this house. And not only her, even Bhaiya knows. That's why he said sorry to her.
Vicky claps and says she is showing so much love on them just because they treated her well. When Ishwari goes out, she should take this house into her hands. And when it comes to the business, he will take that over.
Radha gets worried.
Me: I am just waiting until they rob Bhaiya and Sonakshi. I hope they do. Because they are the ones who kept giving them ropes. So it's only right that they will be hanging from it.
At Bose house, Asha gets chocolate ice cream for Saurabh.
Saurabh asks if she made it.
Asha says yes.
Saurabh says that ice cream takes time to make. Such a big surprise.
Asha says it's because she shouted at him. That's why.
Me: Hain? Shouted at him? You shouted at Bijoy. Asha, unless you turned looking London, talking Tokya, you most certainly shouted at Bijoy. But then for you, he is a nobody.
Asha says that if he doesn't want she can take it away. Saurabh laughs and says that he will eat it.
He eats it and praises the food. But he also says that she is so busy but still she made him this.
Asha says that just because she wrote a book, does it mean she will forget her kitchen? A mother is never busy for her kids. And a mother's memory is connected to her kitchen. So a mother can't stay away from there.
Me: I am sorry. I am getting regression overload here. I need a minute to clear the pollution.
Okay, Asha. Let's correct your language a bit.
Not ALL mothers love their kitchen. Cooking is a chore just like cleaning, dusting, vacuuming etc.
Just like any other chores, some people love it and some people don't.
That doesn't mean those who don't like cooking, can't be a mother.
For example, I have an excellent mother. Kitchen is not her domain, but that doesn't take away from her mothering qualities.
I, on the other hand, love the kitchen. I like open, airy, big kitchen to have all my gadgets and gizmos to cook and enjoy people's company while I make dinner.
My aunt on the hand likes enclosed kitchen which is her domain. She doesn't like people coming into her kitchen and grabbing things.
I, on the hand, don't mind people taking things from my kitchen as long as they go back where they came from or in the dishwasher.
Believe it or not, we are all capable of being a mother. So mother and kitchen lover aren't synonymous.
My father-in-law loves his kitchen. He loves to cook. In fact, my mother-in-law retired at 50 and she hasn't done any cooking since then. Now she is close to 70. My father-in-law does all the cooking and he does a great job every time.
Again, he is a great father, not a mother. He still can't stay away from his kitchen.
So speak for yourself because that might be exclusive to you, not all mothers worldwide.
Asha continues: But kids should also understand that a mother's life doesn't always revolve around the kids. The day kids understand that, they will get these kind of stuff to eat.
Saurabh says: You speak such intelligent talk, it all bounces off me.
Asha laughs.
Me: Intelligent talk? Seriously?
Asha, so let me get this straight.
If kids understand that a mother's life doesn't revolve around them, they will get treats.
So they shouldn't be understanding because it's the right thing to do. It's showing consideration to their mother as a human being with her own wishes, dreams and desire?
For that they will need treats?
Sorry, if that is intelligence, then I don't know what idiocy is.
At night, Sonakshi brings dinner to a sad Ishwari and consoles her. Just then Bhaiya comes.
Sonakshi calls after Bhaiya: Dev, we had been waiting for you... Dev?
Bhaiya storms off...
Sonakshi tells Ishwari: Maa, enough is enough. I am going to talk to him.
She comes upstairs where Bhaiya is sitting.
She says: What is this attitude, Dev? Maa had been waiting for you downstairs. And you just came upstairs? Didn't you want everything to be fine? Then why are you behaving like this?
Bhaiya says: Of course, I want everything to be fine. That's why I sent you to Maa. Go and tell her that she can do what she wants. No need to worry for me or wait for me.
Sonakshi: She waits for you because she likes it. And what does that got to do with her work?
Bhaiya: It has to do with her work. I saw her face today. How sad she was that she couldn't go to her office. If she wants to go to office, then she can go. Why is she waiting for me?
Sonakshi: Why are you behaving like a child? Don't you see that her happiness is with your happiness? She was sitting upset because she thought she hurt you.
Bhaiya: If she really cared about me then she won't have done this. She won't have broken her promise. But she broke her promise.
Me: Wait, I have to take a pause here.
Sonakshi, why are you shocked that Bhaiya is behaving like a kid throwing tantrums? When had he ever behaved like an adult in any situation? I am shocked that you are shocked to see him like this.
Bhaiya, why is her breaking a promise to you is such a big deal for you? How many promise have you kept? If I recall, not a single one. Then please, don't be a hypocrite.
Bhaiya sits down and whines: Why does she need to work? What do we not have in this home. But still, she wants to work naa. Then she can do it. She could have told me once. I could have opened an NGO for her and made her, her own supervisor. She'd have a work and keep busy. She is owner of Ishwari enterprise, mother of Dev Dixit. Why does she needs to work as a servant under someone else?
Me: Ah, ego. Bhaiya, I think you are forgetting that when Sonakshi came in your house, she was working for you. Would you call her a servant?
Would you be happy if she had opened a company and made you a CEO? Would you proudly say that you are Dev Dixit, a self made man?
Like Radha, you are also assuming that Ishwari wants to work because she needs a hobby.
But even if it's a hobby, even then, people who like photography, don't like someone else taking the picture on their behalf.
If people wants to enjoy their hobby on their own, then won't Ishwari want to enjoy her own success and achievement?
By assuming that Ishwari will be mistreated, you are assuming a. she will be a bad employee and b. she is too weak to walk away from a bad environment.
You are not showing her any respect by your attitude. That's for sure.
Sonakshi sits down beside her: Dev, you'd have done it for her. It won't have been her own. Because may be she won't feel as if she has achieved something in that way. May be Maa's self confidence won't have gone up. She won't have been as happy as she is now as an intern. Dev, she is not doing all these because she needs money or anything else. She wants to do something because she wants to do something on her own. You can't see all this?
Bhaiya is about to say something and he gets an email from Ishwari where she wrote "Dear Son, you angry? I sad. Sorry. Maa"
He is shocked to see his mother emailing him.
Me: That was so adorable. To think he could have help her learning about computers, instead he sulked all day.
I taught my mother and aunt how to use mouse multiple times until they learnt. Now they are in social media, posting pictures and commenting. I am happy to be part of their journey to modern era.
Sonakshi was there. But Bhaiya wasn't.
And Sonakshi, you are right. Ishwari wanted it to be her own achievement. She wanted a career, not a toy for her son to get her.
Sonakshi sees Bhaiya's shock. She takes the phone from him to check what is he looking at. She sees the email and gets surprised. She looks at Bhaiya and feels happy.
Bhaiya says that his mother has sent him an email. His mother...
He smiles.
Ishwari is sad in her room. Bhaiya comes there.
Ishwari says that he was angry and wasn't talking to her. So she sent an email.
He asks her to go to bed. It's late.
Then he leaves.
Ishwari calls after him. But he goes away.
She looks at their picture sadly and talks to his photo: I just wanted to talk to you, Dev. I wanted to tell you that I have learned how to mail. May be you didn't like it. May be I shouldn't have learned to email. If you aren't happy, then what will I do learning all this?
She sits on the bad. Just then the laptop makes a sound. She opens the laptop and sees that it's an email from Bhaiya. She opens it and it says, I love you, Maa.
Ishwari smiles through tears and says: I love you, son.
Me: Oh, that made me cry. It was such a brilliant scene with superb execution. I loved Supriyaji's acting. She portrayed the anxiety, confusion, joy and disappointment so beautifully.
PRECAP: Bhaiya is taking Sonakshi somewhere.
Sonakshi asks where are they going?
Bhaiya says: Maa's office.
They come to the office and look around.
Just then Sonakshi sees the signboard and says: NIL?
Bhaiya says: I know you can read.
Sonakshi says worriedly: That's Lakshya's start up company, Dev...
Bhaiya is shocked: The company Maa is interning for, Lakshya owns it?
Me: Bhaiya and Sonakshi, you better start coughing up the secret before Ishwari comes to know it. Nikki is also getting desperate to meet magical Intern Aunty. You want the theory to get done before practical demonstration. Not the other way around.
NO RULES!!! YAY!!!
Hope you all have a great weekend ahead.

NO RULES!!! YAY!!!
Food for thought. Did they lose interest in show or did they lose interest in blog???
ReplyDeleteWell, you certainly did not lose interest to come, read and take the time to comment. As for the blog itself, the no. of views speaks for itself. Food for thought for you. Do you have guts to reveal yourself or are you on your daily trolling behind anonymity?
DeleteIt's the show. It doesn't make sense anymore. The major conflicts of the show were pushed under the rug (Ishwari's acceptance of Sonakshi was what the show was supposed to be about, that acceptance came about magically over a few hours with no real explanation after so so so much nonsensical drama).
DeleteIf you visit the IF forum it is also dead. The only thing that keeps the forum in the #2 spot is the thread(s) speculating that Erica and Shaheer are dating.
What is the show about now? Why is it Sonakshi's responsibility to get the family back together, shouldn't it be Ishwari's job to get her girls back?
Some like me still watching for sharica. But there is no head or tale to story. So there is nothing to analyse about it. The major issue has been white washed unimaginably and unrealistically. So ppl stopped analysing as it's not worth discussing anymore.
Deletehonestly the way the characters had U turn, can we have any possibility of discussing it.
DeleteAs you said Pramila, it is bcoz of the leads, I still watch it, along with some side character whose story seems more interesting to cope with the other ridiculou tracks coming in.
Thanks guys. :)
DeleteI accept your dare. I am revealing myself. Does that make any specific difference to what i told. A person who daily makes fun of makers gets offended by my food for though. Interesting. The show has not lost any viewers and has only increased TRPs recently.
DeleteI wish the makers and writers of the show spent less time trolling the viewers and more time on the story.
ReplyDeleteI wish it too. They have to stop trying to please everyone. The story line is paying for their desire to please everyone.
Deletebacking up the anonymous's comments, it does seem as though you've been receiving lesser comments and views lately while the views for the show and the love for it remains to be the same as can be seen from the views and comments on youtube as well as it having one of the highest trps on sony tv
ReplyDeleteActually, I haven't been receiving lesser views. I had been receiving lesser response because of people's busy lives. But I guess if you look up and down from your comments, you will see that's not the case either.
Deletethank you for the reply and i apologize for the ill judgement but it seems you've completely ignored the second part of my comment knowing you cant argue with the facts about the show's still continued success
DeleteThanks for the generous comments guys!!! You defo make up for the lost ones.
ReplyDeleteAs for the interest, the show has come to a point of no return in terms of logical reasoning, sensibility and story. For viewers are loyal for the leads and there are some characters which interest us. So we keep watching...the less comments is bcoz the leads are moving in rounds and rounds, doing the same things...how much can anyone keep commenting or analysing such stupidity.
Again, this is not a place to dump personal grievances...Stay out if you dont like it.
And I still come read and comment, bcoz I still watch the show and need this bit of sanity to get the feel of what is real and what is not...Tia's analysis gives that. So, yes I read it daily. And she does a great job of it. Kudos to her!!
DeleteThanks Gauri. I appreciate it. :)
DeleteIts definitely not the blog as i come daily to read it even when i skip watching few episodes.
ReplyDeleteThere are multiple mood killers in the show.. i really dont like makers trolling the viewers.. especially with sonakshis wardrobe and giving stylish costumes to others. Nevernending devs guilt trips, sonakshi preachy and turned to fixit all, no or lost chemistry between devakshi..emotion less sonakshi..
The only thing i like now is ishwari and her progressive track.
You are doing great tia . Pls keep going. Beyhadh track is getting interesting now a days.. totally going gone girl way...
Also developed a bit of liking towards yeh moh moh ke dhaage.. love the mukhiji
Thanks Lavanya. How is your baby? I hope you are doing well. We missed you around here. Do you think I should check out Beyhad and Moh Moh Ke Dhaage? I saw a few scenes of Beyhad here and there. But I felt that Maya is the only smart person in the show.
DeleteBaby and I are doing good tia. Thank you.
DeleteYes maya is the smart one and rest are dumb. It was boring before but now the current track is interesting.
I am liking yeh moh moh.. it has some typical villans but i like the leads - the guy has values and respects women and the girl is bubly and not doormat types or atleast mahan mata... i may start following it now that i have some extra time ;) - maternity vacation lol
I'd hold off on getting addicted to yeh moh moh. It started out great with a strong characterization of ML and FL, but this week's episodes have been well awful. The ML has become really clueless and the FL is now handling things pretty immaturely in the name of jealousy (she handled worse situations with far more maturity). Watch the earlier episodes for some happy funny light moments, but watch this weeks with a bit of caution.
DeleteOooh. Now I got two different reviews. May be I will wait on that. Considering the pace, I don't know how long this show will run. I will decide at that point which one to go for. But if Lavanya says Beyhad is interesting now, I will give it a shot.
DeleteWe do read, thing is we are running out of things to say. They are all been said 10000times, no point discussing what we already did multiple times in past. As for fans and trp, they are stable and I see more sharica buzz than devakshi. It speaks for itself that why people are sticking by the show.
ReplyDeleteThanks Avenger. I agree. It's hard to analyze the show if there's nothing there to analyze.
DeleteThanks guys. I just wanted to know if the people I write this blog for are still reading it or not. Honestly, the views or comments don't matter to me. I will write what I want to write. But if no one wants to read written update, then I can just write my opinion. :)
ReplyDeleteUpdate done. :)
ReplyDeleteSoumya here
ReplyDeleteNice write up Tia as always....I think most of us have lost interest in the show and not your blog!
As for me, I was on a week long vacation with family and friends :D...nice and refreshing...
I liked todays episode in bits and pieces...I never thought I would say this but i am liking Ishwari's character more than Sona...absolute delight was the email scene...Supriya ji is the Best!!
Enjoy your vacation, Soumya. I agree. I am enjoying Ishwari's scenes more than Sonakshi and Bhaiya's scenes. I never thought one day I will say this.
DeleteI would say, its both loss of interest in the show and people being busy. However, I like many other fellows still don't miss visiting your blog everyday. I hate preachy people when they themselves fail to act on it. So ya not liking Sonakshi. Liked Lakshya-Nikki and Ishwari scenes. Even Radha n Vicky duo have very few scenes with almost no strong motive.
ReplyDeleteThanks hun. I understand why people are not being able to relate to the leads anymore. I was just wondering if the written update was worth it.
Delete
ReplyDeleteYou know what? Your written updates has helped so many people in Indonesia. Dev & Sona stopped airing, so we have to watch via online and of course we helped by your written update
Really thanks Tia for u effort, God bless u
Oh thanks hun. I didn't know Indonesian people are reading my updates. I was actually wondering if anyone is reading my written updates or should I just stick to my reviews. No wonder I had so much views. I was confused that how I was getting so many views a day when no one is around.
DeleteHonestly there is nothing to comment on with the show.
ReplyDeleteIt now has a format:
- 1 out of place nok-jok scene between Dev and Sonakshi
- 1 scene involving golu-soha/side characters
- 1 scene where asha belittles bijoy/bijoy belittle saurab
- 1 scene with Ishwari (what is with this career track, why is this even a track?), she now as a bichari cry face instead of a constipated face
- 1 scene where dev cries or sulks or gets angry about something nonsensical or silly
I wonder if Shaheer gets headaches from all the crying.
Among which the only thing worth watching (at least for me), Ishwari and her work dynamics. The rest is utter bore.
DeleteEven eshwari's career oriented also I feel utter crap. It really does not make me sense. To engage herself she could have opted other options. Also more screen space to her makes me irritated.
DeleteI am afraid the way they are portraying dev and sona...ppl start disliking their pair. Why always been mahan, why cannot they show them lil selfish and think about themself.
Main leads and not be Mahaan atma? How is it even possible? They will forever be interested in everything except each other.
DeleteLove your blog but not watching this serial now. I visit this blog but can't comment as I am not watching...
ReplyDeleteHi Tia. It's hard for me to reveal myself. I'm a software engineer and a guy. I stay here in the US. I'm being honest here. If my friends get to know that I follow a daily soap then people would laugh at me and call me a fool. Following indian shows for some reason is considered uncool/not techie kind of thing. So I would prefer to stay anonymous. I'm just a silent reader and don't bother to post in comments section. But I felt that I should do that today looking at your post which said people aren't interested. I can't speak for others, but I simply love your writing. The days you don't write saying you are on vacation etc., I simply get bored. As such I can get written updates from anywhere, but it's the "ME" comments that attract me to this blog bcoz they are simply spot on. I would say, please keep doing the good work that you're doing.
ReplyDeleteIf you feel that I should not remain a silent reader and post here, I would not mind doing that.
Best luck and take care!
I can relate to u. Even I am in such circumstance where my family members are too professional and even I am working. Considering my profession, if my family and friend circle comes to know about my craze, they really laugh at me. Includng my husband, they don't know my craziness. My husbsnd knows I watch show but he does not know I am into these blog's. Cheers man..i found some one like me :)
DeleteNo worries. You can remain unanimous here. That's why I kept that option because I do have some men (and women) who read my posts but would rather remain anonymous. Because I was getting so much views, but barely any activities, I was wondering if anyone wanted to read about this show. But thanks for letting me know that you are reading them. I will continue to write as usual. :)
DeleteTia I have seriously lost interest in the show as its become so meaning less and boring. That's why I skip the episodes in between. But I don't miss reading ur blog even for a day. It's like the first thing I read in the morning with my cup of coffee. It's more entertaining and addictive than reading newspaper. Please dont stop writing. Even though I don't comment often I read ur blogs religiously. In fact as many ppl already said there is not much to comment these days as things are going in repetitive mode. IF ppl are only interested in gossips abt the lead pair. Dont know why their posts are not banned. Talk of hypocrisy.
ReplyDeleteTia u rock. Ur writing and only the comments on the ppl on ur blogs make me continue watching this show. Not even the leads interest me any more.
Thanks Anku for letting me know. I will continue as usual. :)
DeleteHi Tia! I am a silent reader of all your posts. I visit your blog everyday but I have never left any comment. More than the show its your "ME" comments which I look forward to. Some of them are really hilarious and I find myself agreeing with most of your views.
ReplyDeleteAs for the show, I have lost interest long back and I rely only on your blog to follow the storyline. I think it is nearing its end, so you won't have to put up with it much longer.
But I would love it if you continue to write even after the show ends.
Thanks for letting me know. I will continue to write. :)
DeleteHi Tia, I visit your blog everyday but I have never left any comment. I cannot thank you enough for what you have been doing. I enjoyed watching the serial during the initial 150 episodes, yet continued watching hoping for sensible redemption/closure. The only thing that kept me going was the par excellence acting skills of the leads and a few other characters. I thoroughly enjoy your ME comments which are bang on. Thanks Tia for entertaining me much more than the show. I also would love it if you continue to write even after the show ends.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for letting me know. I will continue writing. :)

ReplyDeleteGood perspective. Check it out.
Hi Tia,
ReplyDeleteYour blog is awesome for a show like krpkab. The concept of the show is awesome but it's treatment is very average or sometimes extremely clichéd. There are lot of things in the show which are not of this generation, like a bahu like sona who completely forgets her family, or a hero like Dev who is a selfish, egoistic ass hole. I get the fact that he is flawed but right now, I can't see why sonakshi ever fell in love with him. This is the show which promised a progressive story line but getting away with regressive screenplay. Also the partial treatment of characters in the show irks me a lot. So trust me as of now I think krpkab is just a farce wrapped in a colorful wrapper of progression.
Thanks Mily. Yes, I don't see how Bhaiya's immature behaviour and tendency to run away from situation he doesn't want to face is attractive trait in a life partner. But then I always prefer equality in marriage. But no matter how much Sonakshi claims that she wants a life partner who will stand by her and be there for her, she always tends to handle everything on her own. So at the end of the day, what she wanted was Bijoy part two who will always stand behind and cheer for her while she preaches and saves the day because she has Asha's personality. Bhaiya is happy to cheer from the background like Bijoy but the difference between Bijoy and him is that Bijoy doesn't run away if he doesn't get his way. Bhaiya behaves like a toddler throwing tantrums. But then Sonakshi made her bed three times. So she has no other option than lying on it.
DeleteThe show is heavily rigged Tia. It's all abt Ish. This supposedly independence track is all to grab eyeballs but will scrapped off soon.
ReplyDeleteReally? I hope not. I am loving Ishwari's venture in the modern world more than Asha's regressive nonsense disguised as modern ideas and Bhaiya and Sonakshi's lukewarm chemistry.

ReplyDeleteHi Tia :)
Glad to read your post !! Deb is behaving the way he usually he does so not surprising most of the time his judgements are clouded by his emotions though he has his reasons but still he needs to look beyond that !! And also because of his emotions he is adored by all .
The moment when ishwati was trying to learn email was just so cute and Dev & sonakshi's surprised faces were as heartwarming !! Dev's love you Maa was cherry on top !!
I agree. Bhaiya is not going to change. But Ishwari's change and step into modern world is absolutely adorable. I loved her learning to email and emailing her son. That brought tears to my eyes. I am glad that Sonakshi witnessed this huge step but didn't spoon feed her. Ishwari learned on her own.
DeleteAlso, Bhaiya's delight in learning that his mother learned a new thing and embraced change were good to see. I am glad I don't have to watch him sulking about episode. More than sulking, his running away from adverse situation bothers me.
Got to see Dev aka Shaheer's new haircut...the cut looks like its meant for teenager..somehow I find it weirdly similar to Eri's long bob.
ReplyDeleteNew spoiler...abt which I'm quite happy--> Dev goin bankrupt *clap* much needed for someone who is taking his work so lightly and trusting Vicky-RR too much...he needs tht for saying Sorry to RR
Bhaiya going bankrupt? Really? Great. That's exactly what he needs for giving so much rope to snakes like Vicky and Radha.
