Tia's Thread - Impasse!!!

Human beings are very fond of stereotypes. We love those who fit a mould and hence are easier to figure out. We particularly like to assign labels based on gender.

However, the problem comes when people are constantly brainwashed to associate nature with gender and not to their personal selves.

The result is that men and women, both get assigned a role that they continue to play without checking if that role really matches their own personalities. 

Take an example of Bhaiya and Sonakshi.

Bhaiya needs a lot of emotional support, nurturing and assurance. But he is assigned the role of a protector and provider. He had been living that life forever. However, if you ask me, I think he'd prefer to let Sonakshi handle every aspect of his life. In fact, he wants to be pampered by Sonakshi the way he pampers her and Ishwari used to pamper him.

He isn't everyone's cup of tea. He certainly isn't mine as a life partner. I prefer equal partnership hence I married a man who matches my idea of a life partner.

Now Sonakshi needs her independence and her option to deal with all problems. She also likes to be self-sufficient on her own and manage everything in her own way without anyone's help.

Had Bhaiya been a woman and Sonakshi a man, the society's stereotypes would fit them perfectly because we perceive woman to be emotionally needy and men to be unemotional and unsentimental.

But they aren't the opposite gender. 

If you recall my examples of three kinds of couples, then Bhaiya is the one who needs taken care of and Sonakshi is the one who likes to manage everything. So, in theory, they should be perfect together, right?

But wait a minute. Sonakshi also has zero compassion for anything she perceives as weakness, whether that's in herself, her husband or her daughter. 

In fact, if you ask me, what she really wants is to be a part of a power couple. Both working together to achieve success and also managing the family together shoulder to shoulder.

But how will that be possible with Bhaiya? 

He will always need her more than she will need him. 

He will always be emotionally vulnerable which she considers a weakness to deal with and move on. 

He will always be unpredictable and irrational which she can't understand and/or figure out using solid logic and reasoning.

There is a saying that if you ask cooling touch from fire and warmth from ice, you will only be disappointed.

The same way, if Bhaiya expects Sonakshi to pamper him or let him treat her as delicate china doll, he will be disappointed and if Sonakshi expects Bhaiya to behave rationally and in a matured way, she will be disappointed.

So that brings them to an impasse which is where they are standing right now. 

So what can end this impasse? Compassion, patience and understanding.

Compassion to someone else's weakness which may not be yours, but it's theirs.

Patience to understand and acknowledge that not everything which is trivial for you, has to be perceived the same way by another and letting them be as they are without trying to change them.

And understanding someone's nature what makes them who they are.

And all this has to come from both sides. It's not just Sonakshi's responsibility to understand Bhaiya, it's also Bhaiya's responsibility to understand Sonakshi. 

Bhaiya has a tendency to run away from problems, that has to stop.

And Sonakshi has a tendency to have a different standard for herself and others, that got to go.

When husband and wife deal with their problems together, they can overcome any difficulties.

But one thing is a big no-no for every couple. It's to keep your personal disagreements to yourselves unless the matter is of abuse or general physical and mental well being.

Bitching session about one's husband or wife to family members are never a good idea. In short, what you don't want to be done to you, don't do it yourself.



EPISODE: The episode starts with Sonakshi comes to the garden. 

Golu says: BigChi, pass the ball to BigCha naa.

Sonakshi picks up the ball and walks towards Bhaiya.

But Bhaiya walks away.


Sonakshi thinks.

Soha and Golu look at each other.

Soha asks: Mamma, what happened? Why did Papa walk away when you came?

Golu asks: BigChi, did BigCha hurt you?

Sonakshi says: No, he didn't hurt me. He can't hurt anyone. Because he loves me, you, all of us very much.

Golu: If you are saying it, then okay. Until BigCha comes back, will you play with us?

Sonakshi smiles and says: Let's play.

The kids start playing with Sonakshi.

Me: One thing I'd like to say here. Parents often hide their personal differences in front of the kids so that they don't feel upset. But both Bhaiya and Sonakshi are utter failure there.

Sonakshi doesn't tell Bhaiya about Suhana being sick in school because he behaved in such a way she doesn't approve and Bhaiya went away sulking leaving two kids behind who wanted to play with him because Sonakshi did something he doesn't like.

Are you frigging kidding me? If you ask me, they should have never got back together with this kind of irresponsible and selfish nature. As long as they were separated and before Ishwari started the engagement drama, they were raising kids just fine with proper attention, love and care.

The moment they got back together, they are back to being selfish and irresponsible. They have time to fight with each other, but not time to spend with each other.

They have time to fix other family member's life, but not for the kids who need them to be their parents.

They have time to run their business, but not to handle their own marital business.

Seriously?


Vicky comes home and gets a text message where Thakkar is taunting him if he got scared of his brother. He should hurry with the inside information. 

Vicky curses and texts Thakkar back.

Me: Who cares? They will both suffer. Moving on.


Sonakshi then comes to Elena who was fiddling with her camera.

Elena just looks at Sonakshi. 

And she gets sufficient encouragement to get started: I don't know how to handle Dev. Seriously. Dev is problem and not a problem at the same time. I mean, sometimes he does something that anyone will fall in love with him. 

Elena laughs.

Sonakshi: And sometimes he keeps following me like Mr. Obhodro. 

Elena says: Sona, you are very lucky. I had been saying Vicky to follow my photography page for three years, but he didn't do it. Dev bhai is following you physically. He loves you yaar.


Me: CVs, are you serious? Am I hearing this right? Sonakshi, the moron, went to Elena, the duffer to discuss her marital issues and to get solution whose own marriage is inches from being into the gutter as Sonakshi herself witnessed on the day of the family photo?

Let's see here, Elena. The thing is that following someone on social media and following someone physically are two completely different ball game.

The first is showing support and/or admiration for them or their work. The second is downright annoying and creepy. I think women, regardless wherever they are from, needs to learn this difference.

Also, Sonakshi, please stop asking people for advise if you are not going to come clean about the whole situation. What you are doing is holding out information so that the answer is what you want to hear. You used to do it in season one and you are still doing it.

Let me also give you an example. If you say that someone has bought a gun, it means one thing and if you say that someone was attacked by a bear and they live near a jungle, so they bought a gun, it means something else.

So the perception becomes different based on additional information.

If you want to whine about Bhaiya's following you, then start from the time when you behaved like an idiot.



Sonakshi says: Love is fine in its place. This is hardly what I wanted. I mean if Dev stops going to his office, how will it work? Seriously? He has taken money from investors to develop his software. If he keeps on being like this, then how will he manage? 

Elena: Sona, if someone does it to me, I will go mad. And you are standing here pouting. Don't think from your head, think from your heart.

Sonakshi: You don't think everything from your heart. If you do, then why do we even have a head? I sometimes don't understand him. Now look, as long as I am at home, then everything is fine. The moment I step out, his tension will start.

Me: Again, you are hiding information. Did he get tensed when you were running around behind Khatri, did he follow you every day when you kept going to Nikki's home to bring her back? He recently had a trauma and his stalking tendencies have intensified because of that. If you can't deal with this, then take him to a counsellor. Don't go around whining about him to your cousin. How would you feel if you overhear Bhaiya is whining about you to Vicky? Will that make you feel good?

And what about the time you went to Ishwari's room and went through her cupboard in her absence? Didn't privacy and respect for another person's space bother you then?



Elena: I think you are a little defective. I think this is all romantic.

Sonakshi: You got mad watching too many movies.

Elena says: You are mad.

Then she tells her to pose: Okay, one picture. Smile.

Sonakshi swats at her: Are you mad?

They bicker around.

Vicky sees and hears everything. He got a new weapon against Dev thanks to Sonakshi, the blabbermouth.


He thinks: Yes, this is the chance I was waiting for, for years. The more Dev bhai jump around this Bangalan, the easier my task will get.

Me: And this is why I said, husband and wife should not air their personal grievances to everyone. 

Sonakshi must be the only woman in the world except Asha, who fixes everyone's life and just create problem and stress in their life partner's life.


Next morning Bhaiya wakes up (Sonakshi isn't there) and notices the picture he got from Asha hanging on the wall. He smiles. Then he sees a note on the side table.

He reads it and smiles: I love you too. 

So I think I love you was written on it.

He then checks the time and says: It's 12 o'clock already? Where is Sonakshi?

He goes around calling her name. But she is nowhere.

Then he comes running downstairs and asks Radha: Mamiji, where's Sonakshi? Do you know?

Vicky is listening hiding behind a pillar.

Radha says: Yes, beta. She has gone. She has to drop kids to school. Then she has a meeting with someone.

Bhaiya asks: Meeting? With whom? Where?

Radha laughs: Dev beta, why will she tell me about her meeting?

Bhaiya feels restless. So he calls. Sonakshi isn't picking up the phone.

Bhaiya mutters: Come on, Sonakshi. Pick up the phone.

Radha says: Why are you getting so worried? She goes to work everyday.

Bhaiya stammers: Yes, Mamiji. But...

He checks the tracker app. Then he runs out.

Vicky is talking to a driver: The break of the white car isn't working. Why did you give its keys?

Bhaiya comes running.

The driver says: Sorry, sir. I didn't know about this.

Vicky scolds him: If you didn't know, you should have find out.

Bhaiya asks: Vicky, what happened?

Vicky: Bhaiya, the brake is not working in the white car and he gave the key to that to Bhabhi. She left with the car.

Bhaiya: What?

So Bhaiya hops onto the motorcycle and follows.

Me: Seriously? Bhaiya, where is your brain these days and how long will it be on vacation? I am really missing him. 

Now let's try to grasp the situation.

Radha tells you that Sonakshi took the kids which means Golu and Soha to school and then she will go for meeting.

And here Vicky is scolding the driver calmly that he gave the key of a car whose brake is bad to Sonakshi.

Now let me ask you, if you find out that the car Soha is in has a faulty brake, will you stand there and scold the driver who handed the key or run after the car to save your daughter?

Now doesn't it even ring your bell that Vicky is scolding the driver as if the driver gave a wrong colour car to Sonakshi instead of sending her in death trap? 

No really? You seriously can't connect the logic there?


Anyhoo, Bhaiya sees Sonakshi is helping an accident victim. He thinks Sonakshi must have got into an accident. So he comes running there calling her name.

Sonakshi sees Bhaiya and comes running: Dev, you are here? 

Bhaiya starts scolding: Why did you leave without telling me? If I was sleeping, you could have wake me up and tell me that you are going out. Who goes out without saying anything? Are you in such a hurry to leave me?

Sonakshi tries to talk but Bhaiya is determined to shove both his foot in his mouth. So he continues: The brakes aren't working in the car, what if something had happened to you?

Sonakshi shouts: Dev. If the brake weren't working, then how did the car stop? She fell from the bike. I was just helping her.

Bhaiya still doesn't get it: By chance the brake worked, the car stopped. What if it hadn't stop? You won't ever go without telling me from home. Let's go.

Sonakshi is shocked.

The guy with the accident victim thanks Sonakshi.

Then Bhaiya again starts: Today you won't go anywhere. Let's go. Right now. 

He storms off.

Me: Bhaiya, if the brake isn't working, how did it by chance work? For that matter, what if by chance, Bay of Bengal get a storm and it floods India and reach Delhi, then? 

Are you even listening to yourself? And most importantly, Sonakshi, are you listening the escalating problem in Bhaiya? Do you have time to address this or does it have to impact any random person except your own husband before you pay attention?


Vicky is in the office. He is saying on the phone to someone: Today's kids like you don't respect anything. What is taking you so long?

The guy says: I am trying to complete your job as fast as I can. But what to do? Ishwari Communication's security system was designed by Dev Dixit himself. It's very tough to break through.

Vicky says: You had been telling me this for four days. What did you tell me? That I will get the password by morning. Look bro, if you can work, then do it. Or I will hire someone else.

The guy says: No sir. It's done. I am emailing you temporary password which I replaced with the original. But it's only for an hour. Whatever you do, do it in an hour or you will get caught.

Vicky says: No no. I will do what needs to be done in an hour. But I don't want to get caught.

The guy tells him not to worry.

Vicky then uses the password to log in to Bhaiya's laptop which he leaves at work when he is at home. How strange.

Then he puts a pen drive and copies the software. He says: Dev Dixit, this is not password but the key to your treasury. Now this key has changed.


Me: I will just wait and see what kind of protection Bhaiya built in the software. No software developer puts every single information on his laptop. He always keeps some data in his head so that he can later claim his rights. But of course idiot Vicky doesn't know it. 


It's lunchtime at school. Golu and Soha are having their lunch.

Golu asks: So? How much did you cheat? Tell me naa.

Soha says: I didn't cheat. Cheating is bad habit. Mamma told me.

Golu says: Then you didn't write anything?

Soha: Whatever teacher taught us, I remembered. I wrote that. I never cheat.

Golu laughs.

Soha wonders why is he laughing?

Golu says: What will I do then? Dance? Cheating is not bad habit. It's fun. I am champion in this. Come to me to take tuition sometime.

Soha says: I will complaint about this to Maa and Masi (Elena).

Golu says: If you complaint at home, then I will also tell everyone that you made excuses of tummy ache. Then you will also get scolded. Now you won't tell anyone naa?

Soha agrees to keep her mouth shut.

Golu smirks.

Me: And this is why parents need to pay attention to kids. If Bhaiya and Sonakshi paid more attention to Soha and Golu and less attention to other adult family members, may be Golu also had turned to the right direction. 

But who cares? They'd rather run after Neha, Riya, Nikki instead of taking care of those who are their responsibility.

And Soha, now you know why you should never take the way you know isn't the right way even in the name of your heroic father's supposedly stamp of approval? Here's an easy way to find out right thing from wrong.

If you can't tell what you have done to your parents, then you did wrong. If you can tell your parents honestly what you did without hesitation, then you are right.


Bhaiya and Sonakshi come home.

Sonakshi calls after Bhaiya. But he walks away again.

Elena sees Sonakshi. She asks: Sonakshi, you had a meeting naa? Why are you home so early? What happened? Is everything okay?

Me: Also, when you blabber your person issues to outsiders, they get fodder for gossip. Since you told Elena what's going on, she is asking pointed question to find out more information. Elena herself has no life. So she is always poking her curious nose into others' life. You know that. And you, yourself made your relationship a fodder for gossip.


Sonakshi says: Yes, everything is okay. The meeting got cancelled. 

Elena says: Don't lie. I know you came here because of Bhai. What happened?

Me: This is what I was talking about. If Elena already knows the reason, then why is she asking you questions? Any decent person would reach the right conclusion and will stay out of it unless the person concerned themselves come to them to share their issues.

But people like Elena who has pathetic lives, actually poke their nose to find out and confirm problems in other people's life to feel better about their own life.

She wants gossip about your marriage and you being the moron is handing her more thing to relish at your relationship's expense. 


So Sonakshi starts her complaining: I told you naa? Dev is becoming too possessive. His this nature, his love can become problem for me. I can't understand what I should do? I don't want to hurt him Elena. But his behaviour isn't healthy for our relationship.

Elena gestures behind her.

Sonakshi asks: What happened?

She turns around and sees Bhaiya standing there shocked. He heard everything.

He walks away angry.

Me: Now come on, Elena and Sonakshi. When you two started this gossip session in the middle of the living room, you could hardly expect no one to overhear you. So don't pretend to be shocked.

Did you think that Bhaiya will be overjoyed to see you two discussing him behind his back?

Would you be happy if your husband does it with their buddy behind your back? 

Won't you feel betrayed and let down by your husband?

My problem with Asha and you were always that you have one standard for yourself and another for the rest of the world. You never apply your own preaching to yourselves. 

You said to Ishwari that you understood Bhaiya's problems and you can handle them now. Yet, you went and gossiped to Elena about Bhaiya? And because you opened the door, today she came back for another gossip session.

I just have nothing to say to you anymore. 

And Bhaiya, don't be shocked to see that you are being discussed behind your back. If you hadn't run away and actually listened to Sonakshi and shared your issues, you two would have sorted this out between themselves. But you kept running and left her to discuss your private relationship with other people.

I agree that she shouldn't have done so. But you also shouldn't keep running away. And if you do, then don't be surprised to see yourself excluded from actual discussion.


Bhaiya is upset in his bedroom and thinks about what Sonakshi said.

Ishwari comes there and calls his name.

He asks when did she come?

She says: When I found out how much stress is on my son. 

She calls him close.

Bhaiya sits with his head on her lap.

Ishwari says: Dev, I know everything. You and Sonakshi... 

She stops herself from prying and just says: Do you want to talk? This is not your fault. I know that when you guys were young, I used to leave you at home and go to work. I used to imagine all sorts of bad scenarios in my heart. Then I learned to calm my mind and trust in God. 

Bhaiya says: I have learned to trust in God now. But I only know how to trust myself, Maa. I love her. I love Sonakshi very much. I can't live without her.

Ishwari says: Yes, those whom we love, we worry about them. Crazy man.

Bhaiya: But she doesn't get it. She thinks that I am interfering in her life. She has problem with my love.

Me: Well, what have you done to make her understand your way of love? She had tried to ask you. But you kept running away. You can't complaint that she doesn't understand you if you don't make her understand yourself. I am saying it again. Love is not the problem here. Your inflexible attitude is.


Ishwari says: It's not like that. As much as you love Sonakshi, she loves you just as much. For her, your love is just as valuable. It's just your ways are different because you are very different. Sonakshi's love is like a deep lake and yours is like a flowing river which can flood but can't be contained. 

Bhaiya is still sad and crying.

Me: Ishwari is absolutely right. She told both of them what they had to listen. But I don't think any of them registered what she said.

Bhaiya, I am feeling sad for you. I have much sympathy for people going through a difficult mental trauma which is what happened to you. 

But you are your worst enemy, do you know that?

You keep running away from situation you can't control and then expect people to keep chasing you. One day, they will get tired and stop running behind you which is what happened here.

Sonakshi got tired of your hide and seek games. 

If you want her to understand something, then stand and talk. Even argue. But don't run away.

And also listen, not just hear what she has to say.

Marriage runs on communication. The moment you stop talking, issues start cropping up.


Vicky is saying to himself that if people live the door open, then thieves will enter. After today there won't be any stealing because there will be nothing left to steal.

Me: Vicky is finally saying the truth. Haan, tu chor hi hain. (Yes, you are a thief).


Suddenly he hears people's voice and hides. Two guys come. One of them is Dev's new secretary.

One of the guy got some files to get approved. He wonders should he leave the files there.

The secretary dude says that he will take the files and hand them over to Bhaiya.

Then he notices that Bhaiya's laptop is on. But he walks away with the other guy.

Vicky grabs the pen drive and leaves the moment they leave.

Me: We aren't blind CVs. Just because you put the same chair and kind of similar desk, we won't be fooled in believing that you didn't change Bhaiya's office location. He had a wall behind his chair where Vicky had fit camera. How did that wall disappear?

Also, the desk was facing the door of his office. Now suddenly the door is behind his chair. Are you kidding us?


At Bose house, Asha, Bijoy, Saurabh and Ronita are sitting in the living room.

Saurabh says: It will take a lot of time naa? She drank so much water, still she is not going to washroom?

Asha shushes him.

Saurabh gives Ronita more water: Drink more water naa.

Ronita says: I drank so many glasses of water.

Saurabh says: Drink some more, please.

Me: What is this? Water torture? Paani peela peela ke maarenge bechari ko? (Will he kill her by constantly making her drink water?)


Saurabh is still wondering: What is taking so long?

Asha says: Saurabh, shut up. She will get there.

Just then Ronita gets up and runs.

Asha and Saurabh get excited. 


Saurabh says: I am feeling weird. 

Asha nods happily.

Bijoy scolds him: What? Look here. You are feeling strange? Look at her. We made her drink one bucket of water and you are feeling weird?
This is how it feels.


Me: I still don't get it. What's going on?


Anyhoo, Sonakshi comes to her bedroom. Bhaiya gets up and is about to run... AGAIN.

Sonakshi says: Dev, stop. Talk to me.

Bhaiya says: Sonakshi, I don't want to talk to you right now.

Sonakshi says: But I want to talk to you. Listen to me. Dev, you heard only half. You can't make assumptions on that.

Me: Really? Then what about the half ass information you were handing out to Elena? Did you think that Elena also heard half information and she won't be of any help to you?

Bhaiya: What I should or shouldn't be doing, I know very well.

Sonakshi: Dev, I want to talk to you and until I talk to you, I won't move from here.

Me: Good going. You should have done it before gossiping with Elena.

Bhaiya: Sonakshi, what do you want to talk? For you, even my love is a problem. After that what is left to say anymore? You only see your life. How can anyone interfere in there? Do my feelings even matter to you or not?

Sonakshi says: No Dev.

Bhaiya says: No Sonakshi. It's exactly like that. I don't know what is love for you. But for me it's just this. From getting up in the morning to going to bed at night, I only know how to love you. Nothing else. This is my love. You are most valuable thing in my life. If I can't protect you, then what can I do? My life begins and ends with you. I am nothing without you. I learned it by living alone for last 7 years. But you won't understand this. I don't think you even feel for me like that. May be as much as I love you, you don't love me. May be that's why all these differences are cropping up. I am giving you a fact, Sonakshi. I can give my life for you. But I think after I am gone, your life will go on as normal.

Sonakshi says: That's enough. Just stop it now.

Bhaiya: Why? Why should I stop now? You wanted to talk naa? I am like this. I am this much emotional. But may be my emotions are a problem for you. You know what? If you give me a shout once, I will come leaving everything behind. But will you also come without thinking anything if I give you a shout?

Sonakshi: If you are in trouble, I will definitely...

Bhaiya: Exactly. You will think, understand, analyse the situation and then you will come. Love happens from here (he holds his heart), Sonakshi, not from here (he points at his head). That's the difference between business and love. But may be you will not understand it.

He walks away.

Sonakshi thinks.

Me: You know what? This is the discussion they should have had before jumping into each other's life again. This is what I meant when I kept harping about compatibility. Opposite attracts for sure. But if they are polar opposites, then they can't co-exist peacefully without them finding a middle way.

These two attract and repel each other in equal measure because they are polar opposites to each other. That's why I had said, it's one thing to be in love and another to live together.

Bhaiya, I think you need to understand the difference between talk and rant. Talking is a two way street and ranting is a one person's job. You didn't really want to talk because you didn't give Sonakshi any opportunity to speak. You just wanted to rant away.

Just like you don't know the difference between hearing and listening, you don't know the difference between talking and ranting.

You asked Sonakshi a question that if she will come when you need her. I think you are forgetting Bhaiya that when you two were at loggerheads, she came running to you to save you from dying by the road alone. She didn't analyse the situation and the lack of relationship between you two then. So I think it is unfair for you to accuse her of not coming for your help when you need her.

Also, the thing is that you can't compare your love with hers. You are emotionally needy. She is not. But you knew that before marriage. You actually liked her emotional maturity when she was fixing things in your life. Now because she is not behaving like a teenage in love or behaving exactly like you are, suddenly you are questioning her love?

If you are my husband and raised a finger on my feelings, you'd be sitting in dog house by now. 

You could have scolded her for gossiping about you to Elena. But you are the one who kept on running away and then got offended when she didn't keep on running behind you.

And Sonakshi, you came into the room with a lot of attitude. But you left stammering because like always, when Bhaiya says he laus you, your brain cells commit suicide in happiness.

If I were you, I'd have said that if he loves you, you love him no less. And just because your love is different, he has no right to question the limit of that love. Had you not loved him, you won't have come back in his life.

But you never say what you need to say to the person who needs to hear it. 

You could have arranged for a night out or something and that would have got you Bhaiya's undivided, uninterrupted attention for the whole night to talk or do whatever like you arranged your wedding night. But instead you decided to approach an emotional problem using practical logic. How will it work?


At Bose house, Ronita come down upset.

Asha looks at her and says: It's okay. No need to worry. You just have started trying. It will happen. Don't be sad.

Ronita says: I know Maa. But we won't try anymore. Because it's positive.

Asha becomes happy.

Saurabh and Bijoy get happy too.

Bijoy says: Asha, today is the happiest day of my life.

They group hug.

Me: Wait, was it all for pregnancy test? Oh dear lord. She could have just done it in the morning. What was the need for the water torture. These people are mad. 


Next morning, Bhaiya and Sonakshi are still sleeping. Bhaiya turns side and puts his arm on Sonakshi. 

Sonakshi also turns to Bhaiya and holds his hand in sleep.

They wake up and look at each other.

Then Bhaiya runs.

Sonakshi keeps looking disturbed. 

Me: Don't get disturbed, Sonakshi. You very well knew his tendency to run and sulk before you married him. This is what you decided to jump into without thinking or giving it any time. Now you deal with it.


Bhaiya is sitting in the garden. Vicky comes there. He offers to start work out from now.

Bhaiya says no.

Vicky says: I know that you are stressed out. Whatever happened was scary. Now Bhabhi also spends so much time outside. What is the need to work so hard? If you want then I...

Bhaiya says: Do you know, I couldn't concentrate on work for a while. So I thought to arrange a meeting with actuaries. You will be at office naa?

Vicky gets scared: What's the need for that? I will keep on updating you. You are already stressed out. So just relax.

Bhaiya says: I want to do it. But every office has one person there who thinks that if boss is not in his chair, they can relax.

Vicky gets flustered: Ummm... Yes. There is no lack of slackers. But I am there. I will handle everything.

Bhaiya says: It's one thing to steal time from work and it's another to steal from work.

Vicky is super scared: Means?

Bhaiya: Means that there is someone at work who is stealing data from office. That means one of us is a thief, Vicky.

Vicky: Thief?

He walks away.

Elena is putting things on her cupboard when she finds the pen drive within clothes.

She wonders why is the pen drive there.

Bhaiya and Vicky come to the table.

Sonakshi brings the food.

Vicky says: Something is smelling good today.

Me: All the better to hide your stinky lies, my precious!!!


Bhaiya says in a serious voice: I am in hurry. So I won't be able to stay for very long.

Sonakshi says in equally monotone: Eat fast or the food will get cold.

Just then Elena comes there and asks: Vicky, what is in this pen drive?

Vicky is shocked. He runs and grabs the pen drive: Elena, what you are doing? You saw it naa? Then you should have left it there. 

Then he modifies his tone: I mean, important things should be kept where they were naa. I am just saying that if I can't find it later, I will be in problem naa? Come on, you have breakfast. I will go and keep it back.

He leaves.

Elena says: I said such a simple thing. What was the need to get so angry? Someone should see Vicky's cupboard. It's such a mess.

Bhaiya says: Sometimes we ask a question and think the answer in our head. And when we don't get that answer, we get very disappointed. It feels bad. We wonder if our question is wrong or what we used to believe until now, is wrong. What do you say, Sonakshi? Anyways, it's getting late. I am leaving.

Elena is confused. 

Sonakshi glares at him.

Me: To have any answer, you will have to wait to listen to the answer naa, Bhaiya? But you ask the question, you assume the answer you want to hear, then you provide the answer you don't want to hear and then you run. So I am surprised that you are actually wondering about disappointment. Because if you ask me, considering you are the only one doing the talking, you can give yourself whatever answer you want to hear or don't want to hear. It's all in your hands.


PRECAP: Sonakshi tells Bhaiya: You raised so many questions on my love without asking anything.

Bhaiya: You forced me to raise question on your love. 

Sonakshi: There is no need to prove anything in love, Dev.

Bhaiya: What I can do for you, why can't you do it for me?

Sonakshi: Sometimes I have to hold back my emotions.

Bhaiya: That means you will always hold back your emotions.

Sonakshi: If I have to hold back my emotions a thousand times for you, I will even do that.

She walks away.

Bhaiya is disturbed.

Me: I couldn't make heads or tails out of that conversation. So the reaction will be on Monday when I get the full conversation.
