Tia's Thread: Ram vs Laxman

Hello people,

First of all, Happy Rakshabandhan and belated Happy Friendship day to all of you here.
Its Ram vs Laxman aka our very own Dev vs. Vicky (Ram, Laxman of krpkab land) ,just for the sisters , so that they have a choice which kind of brother they want...Dev Bhaiyya types or pyaare Vicky bhaiyya types...ironically Laxman is considered as an epitome of ideal brother in mythology.

Please excuse me if I hurt any sentiments with my sarcasm ...no hurt intended **

EPISODE:

Suhana is crying on Ishwari's lap and Ishwari is consoling her, wiping her tears.

Ish: No beta, dont cry. Stop crying. Golu will tell everyone in the school that Soha is a cry-baby. Please stop crying beta. My good girl...please stop crying. I'll tell you a good story now since you like hearing stories.

Soha: No dadi.I dont want to hear story as only papa tells me stories but I wont talk to him ever.

Ish: Arre, everyone troubles my good kid. I'll do one thing Soha,I'll pull your papa's ears. But now, let me tell you a good story please. Let me tell a story to you please.

Soha nods in agreement.

Ish starts the story and keeps the phone on the table besides the bed.

Ish: There was a kingdom and there was a princess ..(Dev-Sonakshi are sitting on the stairs and Dev is telling the story on phone to Ishwari)

Dev: There was a rule in the kingdom. If anyone becomes angry on the other, they used to meet and do dishoom dishoom(rant/talk/fight) and 

Ishwari: ..solve all the problems between each other. You will hear more beta.

Ish-Dev keep on story-telling and Soha is slowly falling asleep on Ishwari's lap. Soha sleeps , Ish smiles and Dev ends the call.

Sonakshi: You are a very good story-teller.

Dev smiles.

Sonakshi: I'm bringing food for you.

Dev: No, I'm not hungry.

Sonakshi looks at him: Dev..

Dev: Ok. Bring a little food.

Sonakshi goes to bring food and Dev is looking at Golu-His pic on his mobile. Then he brings up Vicky in his contact list and thinks of calling his number.

Just then, Ishwari comes there.

Ish: Dev..

Dev gets up and asks: She slept?

Ish: Yes.

Dev: Is she happy?

Ish: How will she be happy until her brother comes back.. I also know another thing. Till your brother comes back home, you wont be able to be happy either.

Dev thinks sadly.

At Bose house, Elina and Asha coming downstairs talking.

Asha: So many things happened and no one told me. Not even Sona or Ishwariji..both

Elina: Maasi, all were worried at home.And I was worried about Vicky. So, couldnot talk to you

Asha: I can understand. But going ahead, anything happens, you will first come and share with me.When you share things with your own people, only then you feel better. Anyway, whatever you're doing is absolutely correct. You need a lot of courage to do what you did. At this time, Vicky needs your support. How is Golu?
Elina: Golu is very brave. After coming to stay with Vicky, not even once he asked to go back to IN. But he misses his BigCha and Soha so much. He doesnot show much but we understand.
Asha: Hmm, kids understand everything but we dont. If you need anything anytime, just ask me for it. Bye.


Dev is waiting impatiently outside Golu's school. Golu comes there.
Dev sees him and goes near him.

Dev: Golu, listen to me...Golu...where are you going? Please come home with me(Golu doesnot listen to him)
 What happened...listen to me? (Golu goes and sits on the bench, sadly looking down but angry)
Your BigCha has come to meet you.
Golu: Why? (Golu is angry)
Dev: Golu, Your BigCha is missing you..he wnats to play with you, talk to you. We all,at home, are are missing you...Soha is missing you.... All at home are sad. Soha is sad. I'm sad too.
Golu: If I go with you, mummy papa will be sad. I cant make them sad.
Dev: I know you're angry. You are just like me na. Golu, see you're angry about me and your father then I told you, two brothers always fight even when you have grown up. What are you thinking, hug me quickly and come home with me.
Golu: I dont want to talk to you or hug you. Yesterday you let me go and didnot stop me. And now, why should I go with you?
Dev: Then I am also angry on you. I thought you will not leave me and go.
Golu: You're big , you could have done something to stop me. I'm  small na.
Dev: Ok. I'm sorry. Be angry as much as you want on me but come home with me.
Golu: I wont come with you BigCha. You have hurt me BigCha. And mummy has also said not to go with you.

Golu runs away as Dev keeps shouting his name


Sonakshi comes to Elina's house and rings the bell. Elina opens the door.
Elina: Sona, I wud have invited you inside for tea but I know what you have come to talk.
Sonakshi gives her a packet and says "Maa has cooked, so its for you"

Elina takes it.

Sonakshi: I know the real reason why you left. Atleast think once about Golu. Until we talk, how will the issues get resolved.
Elina: You're right. We should to talk. So, Dev bhai had come to school to talk to Golu and take him home. But Golu denied. Actually, with whom Dev bhai should talk, he wont talk to him.

Golu comes there running saying "BigChi, when did you come"

Sonakshi:  I missed you a lot, my favourite boy.
Golu: I also missed you a lot, my favourite girl.

Elina: You know Sona, Golu loves Dev bhai a lot but still he refused to go
Sonakshi: You know Dev. He didnot do it knowingly. And you know the situation with Vicky. In the past, Dev had given many chances to Vicky but he always took undue advantage of it.
Elina: Yes. But if someone wants to change for the better, and if he is your own brother, then he should not be kicked like this. I and Golu will only come back when Dev bhai will accept Vicky.

Vicky comes there and sees Sonakshi

Vicky: Bhabhi..you? Why are standing outside?Elina, why have not you asked her to come inside.
Elina: Because she has not come to sit here.She has come here to take Golu.
Golu: But I dont want to go anywhere.
Vicky: You should not say like this Golu. You dont want to go meet BigCha and Soha?
Golu: Mama has said we will stay here with you.
Vicky: Forget what mama has said. Go and meet Soha, BigCha, dada, dadi, badi dadi..you dont want to go?
Golu: No, I dont want to go anywhere and I dont want to talk to BigCha.

Golu runs away angrily while Vicky keeps shouting his name.

Vicky: You should not have said these things to Golu Elina. Let me go and talk to him.
Elina: See Sona, people change if they are given a chance.

Sonakshi looks on.

At IN, Dev is waiting for Sonakshi.

Sonakshi:Dev
Dev: What did Elina say? Did she agree to come here?
Sonakshi: Elina didnot agree.
Dev: And Golu? He wanted to come na.
Sonakshi nods saying NO.
Dev: I also tried to talk to Golu. But he didnot agree. He was very stubborn. Earlier, Golu always used to say BigCha BigCha ...used to follow me everywhere, even he didnot use to go to bathroom , used to say BigCha, Shushu(means toilet). But now, he is taking his own decisions, he is not ready to listen to anything I say. Infront of him, I kneeled down, cried, held my ears but still he didnot agree. Kids grow up so soon we dont even  realise. Golu wont come back to me . He doesnt want to come back to me.

Dev is in tears and Sonakshi is sad too.

Next morning, Dev is dressed up in casual wear and coming downstairs when Sonakshi sees him.
Sonakshi: Mr. Dixit, today you were leaving without meeting me?
Dev: No, Good morning.(he fumbles to say Good morning)
Sonakshi: Are you sleep-walking?
Dev: No, I had a meeting scheduled.
Sonakshi: Meeting...in this attire, you're going for a meeting?
Dev: Yess...No(Fumbling)
Sonakshi: You're going on a date?
Dev: No, meeting is with someone I know, so no need to wear formal.
Sonakshi: But atleast eat something.
Dev: No, I will come back and eat.

Dev leaves and Sonakshi smiles.

Sonakshi goes to wake up sleeping Soha.

Sonakshi: Soha, wake up
Soha doesnot wake up.

Sonakshi: Wake up Soha you will be late for school and again teacher will give remarks.
Soha sits up.
Soha: I dont want to go to school.
Sonakshi: Why?
Soha: I have  a headache.
Sonakshi: You 're holding your stomach and saying you have a headache.
Earlier you never used to make such excuses. What happened? Tell me.
Soha: I dont want to go to school alone. I want to go to school with Golu only. Papa didnot stop Golu , I hate him.
Sonakshi: You should not say such things. Next time, dont repeat these words. Papa loves you a lot  and he alo is not liking that Golu is not here. He is trying to bring back Golu.
Soha: Ok then, when Papa brings back Golu, I'll go to school.
Soha goes back to sleep as Sonakshi keeps shouting his name. Her phone rings and she picks up. She talks of some meeting, refusing to go to meeting at this time and asking to reschedule all meetings.

Soha gets up and listens.

Sonakshi ends the call and goes to talk to her.
Sona: Soha...
Soha: Wherever you want to go, you go, I'll stay with dadi in the house. As such, you both dont have time for me.
Soha goes away as Sonakshi is staring ..surprised.

Dev rides motorbike and stop in front of Golu. Dev is wearing something to cover his nose and mouth. He keeps on moving the accelerator infront of Golu. Golu does not recognise him and Dev talks in a heavy voice.
Golu: A bike like this is with my BigCha.
Dev: My bike is more cool.
Golu: No, my BigCha's bike is more cool. He can defeat you in a race too.
Dev: OK..so call your BigCha.
Golu: I cant call him as I'm angry on him
Dev: Then forgive me na yaar(friend)...he shows his face.
Golu goes running to him shouting BigCha..

Dev: Lets go on a bike ride .
Golu: Ice cream too
Dev: Ofcourse icecream.
Golu happily goes but then thinks and stop...
Golu: I cant come with you
Dev: Why?
Golu: I'm angry with you.

Dev runs after Golu

Dev: Where are you going? Why are you angry one me? So many tantrums...you know what, I hadnot run after your chachi this much.

Golu: So, dont run after me.
Dev: Where are you going?
Golu: School
Dev: Its ok if you dont go to school one day..you're not a topper either.
Golu: BigCha you're kidnapping me
Dev: If you dont agree normally, then this way I have to do

Dev gives a new helmet for Golu...he wears it.

At Bose house.

Sourabh is listening to cricket commentary in radio for Sourav Ganguly debut match infront of Ronita.

Bijoy-Asha come there.

Asha: What is happening? What are you listening to?
Sourabh: I was listening to cricket commentary so that the kids also coems to know how Dada(Sourav Ganguly) made his debut.
Bijoy is all praises: Finally you did something intelligent.

Sourabh is all smiles.
Sourabh: There are two benefits of doing this. One my kid is going to hear cricket commentary. Second, Ronita is snoring after pregnancy these days and I'm not able to sleep...
Ronita: I dont snore..(angrily)..you must be hearing something else.
Sourabh: Anything you say, suddenly she becomes angry  or cries. Through out pregnancy will it be like this.

Asha: After reading so many books on pregnancy, still you dont get it and doing dada dada(Sourav Ganguly is lovingly called as dada)If the child is not a boy but a girl..
Bijoy: Then we will make her like Harmanpreet Kaur or Mithali Raj.

All are smiles.

Dev is riding on the bike with Golu happily.

At IN, Ishwari is pleading with Suhana to go to school.
Ishwari: But Suhana all others in the class will go ahead and you will forget everything..please go na
Soha: If you dont go to office I wont go to school.
Ishwari: Arre you should not do like this. You need to score well in the exam na. Go na.


Just then, Golu comes and Soha is excited.. Ish calls RR, Mamaji.

Dev enters.

All love Golu and hug him, all are happy.
Soha: How are you?
Golu: I'm fine.
Soha: I was so bored without you.
Golu: Me too.

RR: How are you?
Golu: I'm ok. You made my face wet(to RR)..Chhiiii

RR laughs

Sonakshi: See Maa Late but Dev did everything ok. And I'm sure he knows his mistake.

Dev: See Golu how all are happy...lets go inside.

Just then Vicky comes at the door and Suhana sees her..

Soha: Vicky Chachu

All turn. Soha runs and hugs him. RR hugs him and asks him to come inside.
Vicky refuses: No I cant come in.
RR: But why beta? See Dev brought Golu here.
Vicky: No. I had to guess so as well. Golu had come out to go to school but he didnot reach. Elina was crying badly. Because Dev bhai has brought Golu here without asking us.

All are surprised.

Sonakshi: Dev...

RR: You have become so weak. Please come inside and have something to eat.

Vicky: No, after all I have done, I dont have the right to come inside. I have come here to take Golu only. Golu beta, please come, lets go.

Dev comes angrily

Dev: Golu is in his house. He wont go anywhere.

Soha: Lets go Golu

Vicky: Bhai I havenot come to fight with you here. I have come to take Golu. He should be in school and so should be Soha. Please bring back Golu. I have to go to office.

Dev: I brought him from school, I will leave him back.

Vicky: No its mine and Elina's responsibility.

Soha: Chachu, we both are ready to go to school. Will you please drop us both in school?
Vicky:Yes, sure.

Dev is surprised. Soha-Golu leave with Vicky.

PRECAP:
Soha's class teacher explains to Dev that she has been missing school 3 days a week. Both Golu-Soha have been missing school regularly. Dev asks her if she did her homework today, she refuses and says Soha is not in school. Dev is surprised.

While going back, Soha lies to Dev and Sonakshi when Dev asks her about school and homework saying all was ok in a angry mode. Dev is angry but Sonakshi stops him.





Done...

ME: I wish I could be angry on Asha, Elina...particularly their scene pissed me off completely.
There is a difference between supporting your husband and emotionally blackmailing your brother-in-law to forgive his crimes.
