Hi All,
Sorry for being so late, it was just that I was rewatching the epi,catching the repeats and YouTube to relish the last episode. The scene of Dev-Bijoy ,loved it so much..how I wish they had shown more such scenes during the actual course of the show.Sigh!!!
Devakshi love story in flashback with that title track tune...good old memories and then I understand why the show was so special.
Anyways,enough of my reminiscing the show
EPISODE :
Sona Ishwari hug
Sona: I'm sorry maa
Ish: again the same thing, do you love to say sorry? Ok, so I'm also sorry since I couldn't take care of you well
Sona:it's not like that Maa, I'm leaving bcoz I have so many mood swings that I don't want Dev and you to get irritated with them. During Soha too I had so many mood swings that I wanted this sometimes, sometimes that ..I had made everyone mad at house. U and Dev love me so much and care so much for me that I didn't want you both to love me less.
Ish: Arre, what are you saying I also have to see your mood swings. Did I call u a daughter just like that? I accepted you as daughter so I have to tolerate your tantrums too. It'ms ur right to trouble us with ur tantrums. The more you throw tantrums the more we will love you. Your every tantrum is of top priority
Dev: Sonakshi, you really thought maa and my love for you will decrease bcoz of your mood swings, tell Sonakshi.
Sona: If I feel like waking you up at midnight to fight with you, not even then
Dev: Of course not
Sona: If I feel like going to the rooftop and eating non veg, not even then
Dev: absolutely not
Ish: why will my daughter-in-law eat on the rooftop, you will eat here on the dining table with Shubh
All are happy as Asha,Bijoy look on happily
Sonakshi Dev are sleeping at night when Sona calls Dev
Dev jumps out of bed blabbering what happened?
Dev: What happened. Water broke...let's go to hospital ur file, Soha welcome file ,Balagopal, Rabindra sangeet.. He looks at Sona smiling
Come on Sonakshi not again
Sona:how many times will you practice the drill?
Dev: Arre yaar, done with so many wolf came wolf came next time even if you call in real pain, I won't get up
Sona: even if I wake u up 100 times , still u will wake up for us, we know this, baby and me
Dev: how are you so sure?
Sona: bcoz after every drill you say this same thing
Dev: Not funny
Sona: You know Dev during Soha's time, I was so afraid but this time, you are with me, so I'm not afraid of anything. You are obhodro but you're the best
Dev: I want this only, you shouldn't be afraid of anything. I'm here na.
Ok let all these go.I wasn't able to live these moments earlier so thank you for giving these to me.

Dev gets up to go..
Sona: Where are you going,..hospital?
Dev: going to drink water, not hospital
Dev is pouring water in the glass and thinking in flashback what doctors said about the danger to the child and the mother
Ishwari comes and asks him what is he doing here
Dev: Nothing maa, I had come to drink water.
Ish notices Dev hadn't drank any water
Ish: what is the matter beta? Are you afraid?
Dev: No I'm not afraid maa...yesss I'm so much afraid. First Soha came and she was already 6 year old, having her own personality, but this coming kid....I have to take half the responsibility, I have to take care, I can't do anything wrong
Ish: Dev you're my Dev, my Devrath who never fails, who takes other's responsibility...my Devrath, you will never fail
Dev: That only na Maa, this is not anyone's responsibility it's mine own, my own child, I can't fail this time, I can't do anything wrong, I can't accept failure. I know you're there, Sonakshi is there, u both will take care but being the father I have got responsibilities too,I want to do everything for him, I have thought of many things, I want if he wants to learn swimming, he won't have to go to the waste water canal, I want on holi and Diwali,they should have no shortage of colours or crackers. I want no one should call Suhana , Ranganathan ...they won't have to draw on each other's faces,they should have so many books to draw, all colour books, I don't want that before their childhood, their childhood ends.
Ish: you have seen a lot many things Dev, when your eyes were supposed to be lighted with Diwali, your eyes had worry for ur sisters. When your hands should have been playing Holi, then those hands had signs of labour. I know what you want to give them...you want to give them what I couldn't give you. You want to give them their childhood, you want to live your childhood through theirs. Son, I could never say this in clear words to you but today, I want to say ...I apologise to you
Dev: What r u saying?
Ish: son, I took away ur childhood and gave u responsibilities of the grownups. When the age was for you to ask questions, you had to give answers. Under the burden of responsibilities, your innocence was lost. But my son never complained. He stood by me and took all responsibilities.
Dev: you also did so many things. You remained hungry to feed us.
Ish: Parents take care while upbringing their children, they have their own selfish reasons. Parents think that when they grow old, their kids will be their support system.
Dev: Ok, you remember the selfishness but not the love.
Ish kisses Dev on her forehead and both are in tears.
Ish: God should give a son like you to every mother
Dev: And God should be every son a mother like you.
Both hug...
ME: nice emotional scene which sums up the storyline of krpkab, well enacted by both the actors.
Dev enters the room to find Sonakshi awake
Sona: you came
Dev : You haven't slept yet.
Sona: No, baby was missing you
Dev : Baby, or his mother?
Sona: Are you ok?
Dev: Now all is ok
Sona : I know all is ok but are you ok?
Dev : Yes, I'm ok and very excited, very happy. This baby was only yours for so much time but when it comes out, it'll be mine too.
Dev phone buzzes with messages. Sona gives his phone to him. He checks and says that vicky has messaged . He wonders why he messages that this odd time.
Then he reads the message and says to Sona : he wants to meet us now and is downstairs.
Sona: Let's go and see
Both get up and go.
Vicky , Elina and Golu are standing at the door
Dev: Elina, you and Golu are always welcome in this house but not this person
Elina: This time Vicky brought me here , so you talk to him
Vicky: Bhabhi, this is for the baby(he gives a baby carrier to Sonakshi)
Dev: We don't want anything from u
Vicky : Bhai listen to me
Dev: I had told your Bhai is dead for you
Vicky : why are saying this for u Bhai, u can say to me but not to u. At least listen to me once.
Sona: Dev listen to him once
Vicky hands Dev some papers
Dev: what are these?
Vicky: These are company papers. Along with that I promise I won't ever make any demand for rights on this house. You have given me everything without asking but I was feeling strange loneliness. This poor girl(Elina) also remembered her family but even she didn't say anything to me. I'm really sorry Bhai. Please call me back Bhai. I can't stay without you, without my family. I know you won't trust me. Why should you? I have always troubled you both.but today I'm joining my hands to say sorry to you . Please call me back to my house, I can't live without my fa,ily...please Bhabhi
Vicky cries with folded hands. All others come running there.
Dev removes his folded hands and hugs him when he is about to go.
Dev: when you said Bhai and Bhabhi , I felt it was from your heart.
Elina : finally Dev Bhai has forgiven Vicky
Mama ki and Ishwari hug, Mamiji is in tears. Elina: (To Sona) And what you wanted..happened
Dev : ( to Sona ) this was your plan?
Sona : No it wasn't my plan but a wish that Elina, Vicky return back home with Golu . I just wanted that all differences should be sorted out between you both. And the love should always be like this.
Mami: Thank you Sonakshi beta. Today for you only my Vicky's family is also complete.
Elina: Anyways, God fulfilled my wish too.
Sona: which one?
Elina : To see you as a fat person (Sona)
All laugh. Mamaji hugs Vicky and says
Mamaji: I'm proud of you son. You did something from your heart today. I can say now proudly,first time, please hug me.
Golu: All are hugging but what about me. BigCha forgot me.
Dev: How can I forget you? You're my champ. thank you Vicky.
Vicky: Why thank you?
Dev: No seriously. You came back na and brought all happiness back.
Golu: you won't say thank you to me BigCha
Dev: Thank you champ.
Golu: Thank you for what?
Dev: bcoz you came back to this house and brought the shine back to the house. Dev Golu hug and Suhana comes running shouting Goluuu and calls Vicky Chachu
Just then Sona phone rings. Sourabh is calling
Sona: Yes dada
Sourabh: Sona you come here asap as we are taking Ronita to hospital
In the background, Bijoy and Asha are fighting
Bijoy: Asha you haven't packed anything properly
Asha : I had packed everything, what was the need to change the bag.
Sourabh is irritated.
Sourabh:Sona, please come here. I can't handle Ronita how will I handle these two..
Sona: Yes I'm coming.
Bijoy: ultrasound report kept?
Asha: Yes
Sourabh : all ready..both reply as YES. They go.
Dev asks Sonakshi if all ok?
Sona: Dev I know I need to rest now but my brother needs me now.
Dev: I won't stop you now but I'll come with you since we are partners, we should do all together.
Sona: Okay
In the hospital, Bijoy and Dev are pacing. Bijoy is very tensed.Dev tries to pacify Bijoy
Dev: Baba, please sit here. please sit baba.
Bijoy: No Sourabh is a fool. He said this hospital is the best. I told him to admit in a nearby hospital, but no he had to come here. Now, in the process of coming here, we are late...I hope nothing wrong has happened Dev
Dev: no no don't worry, all are worried for Ronita and so we have brought to the best hospital, don't worry.all will be ok.
Bijoy: But son..
Dev: No, in sometime, you will have a grandson or granddaughter and you will go in front of him like this...with this angry face
Asha: hope what you said comes true
Dev: It will be like this only. With whom, you both blessings are there, only good will happen to them.
Suhana: Papa, now you're talking like a grownup
Dev: what are you saying beta? How was I talking earlier?

Sona comes running saying Ronita had a daughter...all are jumping happily with joy.
Asha: both are ok
Sona: Yes, both are ok. Only dada(Sourabh) had fainted. All ok.
When Asha is leaving Sona clutches her hard as her water breaks. Dev shouts for doctor.
Sona: Maa
Dev: (Bijoy) baba, so suddenly...I hadn't even prepared...how come so suddenly..I didn't tell mom too. I didn't bring anything. Now I need to bring everything..
Dev panics badly as Bijoy tries to pacify him
Bijoy:Dev beta, till now you we're giving us strength, you have some patience,relax
Dev: no baba, you don't understand...I dint know this will happen, had I known I wad have prepared.
Dev panics and faints while Bijoy holds him.
Dev is sitting on a bench when Bijoy gives him a glass of water to drink. He drinks when Suhana comes there
Suhana: Papa come quickly, my small brother has come..dadu, you also come..
Bijoy and Dev run happily inside. Dev sees his son and picks him up in his arms. He takes him near Sonakshi and they both hold their son together.
The flashback shows Dev-Sonakshi love story with the title tune in the background...their journey together.
Dev:Thank you Ms. Sonakshi Bose
Sona: Thank you Mr. Obhodro bcoz this time you were with me.
Dev : Thank you Sonakshi for giving me my lost 7 years. For giving me back my happiness.
He kisses the baby
Suhana: Thank you papa, mama for giving me a new friend.
The title track plays on as the whole family gathers at IN for a family photo
Ishwari: I'm very happy today,so happy that I can't even express
Dev jokes: why maa, why are you happy?
Sonakshi also asks: Tell maa
Ishwari: It feels like only yesterday you brought me here.(Flashback of the first epi scene when Dev enter IN with Ishwari) We could have stayed anywhere but my Dev wanted,not to build a house for his mother but wanted to bring his mother to their house. Brother this house has seen so many colours of love that they are now decorated like the colours of rainbow in this house. Even having everything, it took so much time and today,I feel in the true sense that I have come home bcoz today I feel my whole family is here.
Golu: let's take the family pic..where is the uncle
Dev ask him to get down Vicky shoulders.
RR: son, no uncle but bhaiya...she calls Jasssi. Since now there so many kids, we have to save money, so Jassi will take the photo. All smile and pose for the family photo saying Family. The END
ME: I was happy to see a very happy ending with some scenes which made it so very special. All I can say is the show was special in many ways. I got to know many wonderful people and interacted with them, and I got to read some awesome posts and lastly I fell in love with Shaheer and Erica.

Scenes I loved...
1. Ishwari allowing her pregnant daughter-in-law to have non-veg at her own dining table when she was the one who sent back every single wedding gift given to her son and daughter-in-law by her family because a fish was sent with them by mistake - She has truly became a shining example of a mother from a mother-in-law.
2. Bhaiya made fun of Bijoy in the hospital and Soha got him into trouble. But when Sona went to labour, Bhaiya had exactly identical reaction. I always knew that Bhaiya and Bijoy are very similar in nature. Hence proved.
3. Soha pointing out that she knows her father's tendency to behave like a overgrown toddler and she is finally noticing grown-up behaviour from him. That was classic. Samajhdar ko ishara hi kaafi hain.
4. Bhaiya and Ishwari talking about their past, fear and consoling/encouraging each other. They are no longer self-made victims of the bitter past which they used as a crutch and a weapon. They are survivors and proud of their achievements of the struggles from the past. They learned from it and let it finally rest in peace.
5. Bhaiya's emotional reaction when he saw his baby son for the first time.
Scenes I hated:
1. The freeloaders duo found out that success needs hard work and that they are not capable of doing it. So they pretended to have missed their family and slithered back to mooch from the Dixits. Long leave moochers. However, Vicky didn't mention in his sudden personality improvement and even for the sake of clearing the past deeds that he sent goons to beat up Bhaiya and snake to Soha and Golu's camp. Then again, had he done it, Bhaiya would have never let him come back to mooch again.
I hated how they got away scot free.
2. Sonakshi only wanted to go to her father's home to have non-veg food, not to spend time with them or that she was even missing them - She has truly became those women who use their family as convenience once they are married. She has become one of the best daughter on screen to one of the worst ungrateful example of a daughter no parents would want.
3. Asha doesn't want her pregnant daughter in her home because her mother-in-law may not like it and is planning how to beg for the audacity to assume that a daughter is a daughter for life. Actually a son is a son for life but a daughter is a daughter until she is married. Afterwards she is a stranger and someone else's property.
4. Last family picture didn't have the sisters nor they mentioned what happened to Nikki and Lakshya.
Anyhoo, all's well that ends well.
