Tia's Thread - Pressure Cooker!!!

Hello dearies,

As you all know I was going to be on vacation from Aug 23rd onward and Gauri was going to post during my absence.

However, since the show is ending on Aug 25th, Gauri will be updating the blog on Thursday, Aug 24th and Friday, Aug 25th, 2017.

If you want to continue any discussion, I will open a page called "KRPKAB Reloaded" where you can share, admire, appreciate, criticise or just generally talk about any scene/episode/characters you want to talk about.

What will I do in this blog once the show ends you ask?

Well, since I will be travelling, I will write my travel diaries with pictures from my trip. If you guys are still interested, feel free to check them out.

As for my co-writers, feel free to write anything you feel like writing or sharing. If you want to talk about any new show, go ahead.

Thanks for everything...

T

We, most particularly Asians, are all very familiar with familial pressure. In fact, we have literally turned it into an art form.

When we are kids, the pressure for marks and grades take precedence.

As teenager, the responsibility to carry the burden of the family's prestige and respect.

As an adult, the pressure to marry and carry on the family's legacy. And because family's last name is so important (even if many families exist with the same last name), that at least one kid gotta be boy.

As parents, the pressure to produce brilliant and heterosexual offspring who in return can be pressurised to fulfil all of the above.

As elderly, the pressure to behave as per our age and be religious (even if you had been an atheist your whole life). After all, the path to eternal nirvana in the afterlife gotta be paved in gold.

But the thing is that people often get so busy to try to please family that they forget that this is their life and that they aren't getting another for their good deeds.

If we don't get to live our life and give in to familial pressure, whatever it may be, then when will we get our turns?

Like the famous commercial, "Hamara number kab aayega?"

(When will it be our turn?)

Imagine if we, this generation, lived our entire adult life as per our wishes.

Will we then be that eager to force our children to live their life as per our wishes?

I think not very likely. Because then we won't feel we missed out on life and have to live it through someone else.

So how can we make it happen?

Well, take control of our life. How else?

I am an only child. If my Mamma had her way (Don't get me wrong. I adore my mother), I will be surrounded with half a dozen kids by now so that she can spoil her grand babies.

But we will have children when we are ready - both financially and personally and only as many as we want. Gender matters very less for us. All we want are happy and healthy kids. And my mother knows it.

Fortunately, she is not at all a pushy mom. That doesn't mean she doesn't do her occasional pilgrimage to motherly guilt trip. She sends me subtle hints by making baby sweaters, booties and bonnets for her friends' grand kids which I very conveniently pretend that I didn't understood and generally pretend to be dumb.

It all works out for us.

But for those who are not so subtle, I will just say one thing. Life is precious and unless you strongly believe that you will get another shot at being born as human in a country which will allow you the choice and opportunity to live your life as per your choice, you have to decide if living this current life as per someone else's choice is something you can afford.

Because the saddest word in any dictionary is regret and at old age, it really doesn't feel any satisfactory.

EPISODE: The episode starts with Ishwari telling Soha that she didn't tie the Rakhi to her mother. She tied it to her brother who is in her mother's tummy.

Bhaiya looks like he can't believe his luck. I think he is in shock.

Sonakshi smiles at him.

Soha asks: But what if it's a little sister?

Ishwari says: What if it's a little brother? We can't say anything now. But we can tie Rakhi.

Soha hugs Sonakshi.

Ronita looks at Asha for confirmation. She nods with a smile.

Me: Lo bolo. (Go figure). Why does all pregnancy related information comes from Mummys? Wouldn't it be better to ask the mother-to-be?

Anyhoo, Nikki finally announces: Bhaiya, Bhabhi is going to be a mother.

Mamaji tells Bijoy that he is going to be a grandpa again.

Ronita is excited too. She jumps to hug Sonakshi.

Sonakshi says: Be careful, what are you doing?

Ronita remembers her own baby and says: Sorry.

Then she tells Soha: Babu, now you are going to get two brothers or sisters, not one.

Then she turns to Sonakshi and says: Didi, we will shop for pregnancy together.

Sonakshi agrees.

Bhaiya is still shocked with his mouth open.

Me: Someone congratulate/hug this poor guy too. He is not a guest appearance in Ishwari and Sonakshi's party, is he?

Then Elena says: Now it's my turn.

She hugs and congratulates Sonakshi.

Then everyone takes their turn hugging Sonakshi while Bhaiya is sitting like unwanted guest in his own celebration trying to control his tears of happiness.

Then he walked away from there to hide his tears. But no one noticed.

Me: I understand all the excitement surrounding a mother. But doesn't the dad deserve anything? No one even looked at him since they found out the news. No one gave him a hug and didn't even leave him alone for a moment with his wife to share his happiness.

First they made their private celebration a public announcement and now no one is even congratulating him as if Sonakshi got pregnant through an anonymous sperm donor.

I never thought I'd say this. But CVs finally made me feel pity for this poor guy.

He came to the garden and thinks back all the hints Sonakshi was giving him.

Sonakshi comes there.

Bhaiya says excitedly: We are going to get a little baby? I can re-live the moments I missed?

Sonakshi nods happily: Yes Dev.

Bhaiya says: Soha will call someone brother or sister.

He hugs her happily.

Then he says: I am not dreaming, am I? It's true, right?

Sonakshi takes his palm and puts it on her tummy: I know nothing can be felt yet, but it's our baby. Now with Soha, we will have one more baby who will call us (spoke in masculine gender) Mamma and Papa.

Bhaiya: Or will call us (spoke in feminine gender)

Sonakshi: Just like you.

Bhaiya says: Just like you.

They smile at each other.

Then the family crashes their private moment screaming congratulations.

Me: Next time choose the bedroom and close the damn door. By the way, family. You already congratulated them. How about some privacy, huh?

Mamaji says: Sorry kids. We couldn't stop ourselves. This moment is like that. May be this is the happiness, this family was waiting for such a long time.

Saurabh jokes: Sona, you are really very competitive.

Everyone laughs.

Bijoy says: I am going to throw a party for the whole Delhi to celebrate this happiness.

Nikki says: Uncle, you first throw a party for us.

Bijoy says: Everyone will get a party, but to capture this moment, let's take a picture.

Bhaiya says: Today I am willing to do whatever you say.

Everyone agrees.

Nikki takes a selfie.

Then the family start taking selfie.

Sonakshi looks sad thinking about the complications.

Ishwari notices that. She pushes Bhaiya beside Sonakshi.

He goes by her side and more picture session follows.

Me: The pressure cooker is on and the pressure is building. And this is only the beginning, Sonakshi. You better talk to Bhaiya first.

At night, Bhaiya is restless. I think Sonakshi told him about the complications.

He says: How can you say this so casually, Sonakshi? Doctor said that there are complications. It can be risky for your life.

Sonakshi says: Dev, I know that there are complications. But so many cases have complications too.

Bhaiya: I don't care about others. You are my concern. Don't say this to make me feel better.

Sonakshi: Dev, there were complications before. If I had aborted then, then Soha won't have been with us. I am willing to take this challenge.

Bhaiya: Challenge? What are you saying, Sonakshi. This is not a joke. Doctor said that this time there are more complications than before. Why aren't you getting it? What if something happens to you?

Sonakshi: Dev, nothing will happen like this. We have to think positive. And you were happy to hear this news naa. So let it continue like this.

Bhaiya: No, Sonakshi. I can't do this.

Sonakshi: Dev, everything will be normal. Everything will be fine.

Bhaiya: But what if it isn't?

Bhaiya storms off.

Sonakshi: Dev, where are you going? Dev...

But he doesn't stop.

Sonakshi thinks to herself: Oh God, he doesn't know that I didn't tell full truth to Maa.

She is worried.

Me: Bhaiya, you are absolutely right. You should personally visit the doctor and find out what are the complications. However, because Sonakshi has already involved your mother, it won't be easy.

I wish Sonakshi you had this discussion before you blurted everything to Ishwari, not after. And by the way, what didn't you tell Ishwari? I thought you pretty much told everything to her.

Anyhoo, if Ishwari didn't know, then at least you could have taken the right decision suitable for both of you without any pressure.

I am not saying aborting a baby is ideal. But you have a daughter to think off. If it's too much risk to you to give birth to another baby, then you should think that your daughter needs you more than another sibling.

A martyred but dead mother is not something any child particularly needs.

Bhaiya comes to Ishwari and asks: Maa, did you know about this?

Ishwari guesses right what he is talking about: Dev beta, what do you think that being a mother is easy? A mother feels so much changes in her body in the nine months. These kind of complications happen. We just have to take very good care.

Bhaiya says: Maa, how can you say this so easily? Sonakshi's pregnancy has a lot of complications, even more than last time. What we don't know about, how can we take care of it?

Sonakshi comes there and stops him: Dev, we were talking naa? Why are you bothering Maa?

Bhaiya: Sonakshi, we have to take decisions together. If we talk, then we will be able to decide, naa?

Ishwari is back with her psycho look. She looks at Bhaiya and then Sonakshi. She says: Decision? What decision are you talking about, Dev?

Bhaiya stammers: Maa, there are risks. So Sonakshi...

Ishwari: Sonakshi, what?

Bhaiya stammers: Maa, I don't think it's safe. So I think Sonakshi should...

Ishwari stops him and says: Dev, come out with me. I want to talk to you.

Bhaiya leaves.

She tells Sonakshi to wait there and follows Bhaiya out.

Ishwari comes out: Dev, what is this? If you have no other advice for my daughter-in-law, if you want to be a husband like this who instead of encouraging his wife and supporting her at her moment of difficulty wants her to give up, then you don't have to talk to her.

Sonakshi is thinking worriedly what is going on.

Bhaiya: But Maa...

Ishwari: I am not done yet. I don't want such negative thoughts around Sonakshi. So if I have to keep you away from Sonakshi for nine months, then I will. Did you hear me? If you can't support Sonakshi now, then don't come around us.

Bhaiya: Maa...

Ishwari: Shut up. I don't want to hear such talks.

She goes in and shuts the door.
Bhaiya protests from outside: Maa, I want to talk to her. Sonakshi... Maa, open the door. Let me talk to Sonakshi.

Sonakshi looks at the door worriedly.

Ishwari shakes her head and hugs her with a smile.

She says: Everything will be all right. He is mad.

Me: Ummm... Actually, Ishwari, if you ask me, I think you are mad. You can't keep a husband and wife separate.

And Bhaiya, what yaar? Get some volume on those pipes and claim your wife. Sonakshi is not married to your mother, nor carrying your baby.

The wife is yours, the baby is yours, so the decision should be both of yours.

Sonakshi, now you know why I wanted you to talk to Bhaiya first, eh?

Ab jhelo psycho budiya!!! (Now handle the psycho oldie)

At Vicky's house, Vicky is working and Elena is feeding Golu.

She says that if this was burger or pastry, he would have eaten first.

Then she asks: Golu, are you excited for the baby? You are going to have a little brother or sister.

Vicky listens to what Golu has to say.

Golu shakes his head.

Elena asks: Why? Why aren't you excited?

Golu says: I don't know if I am going to get a brother or sister. If it's a brother, I will punch him.

Elena: Golu, does anyone punch a little baby? It's wrong.

Golu says: If it's a boy, then BigCha will love him, feed him ice cream, take him out on a bike ride and everyone will forget me.

Vicky says: Who says everyone will forget you? I am here naa. I will always be with you.

Golu: But I want BigCha with me always. That's why I want a girl, not a boy.

Vicky: Yes, but listen to me.

Golu storms off: Don't wanna listen.

Vicky says to Elena: So much anger?

Elena makes faces.

Me: Golu takes after his BigCha. He doesn't share the people he loves very well.

Bhaiya is in his room when Ishwari walks in.

Bhaiya says: Maa...

Ishwari ignores him and starts taking Sona's clothes from their wardrobe.

Bhaiya continues: Maa, don't you think I want this happiness? I want it too. But we can't let anything wrong happen. Maa, are you listening to me? Your daughter-in-law is something to me too. I am also worried for her. I am saying something to you. Maa, listen to me. Maa, I want to talk to both of you. Maa, what kind of forceful behaviour is this? Where are you taking Sonakshi's clothes? Arre?

Ishwari completely ignores him and walks off with Sonakshi's clothes.

Bhaiya: You are not talking to me nor you are letting me talk to her. Maa, talk to me naa. I want to talk to both of you. Maa...

Me: Bhaiya, stop meh-ing like a lamb and use your brain. You got a cell phone, Sonakshi got a cell phone. Call her and ask her to come out to meet you. And if all else fails, ask Suhaana to ask for her Mummy. You have so many ready made ally and you use none.

Bhaiya is pacing in the dining room.

Mamaji laughs.

Bhaiya: Mamaji, Maa threw me out of the room and you are laughing.

Mamaji says: What else should I do? You are father of a 8 year old girl and still you didn't grow up in Ishwari's eyes. You must have done something.

Bhaiya: Mamaji, you don't know the reason that's why you are saying this.

Mamaji: Okay sorry sorry. Tell me the reason.

Bhaiya: Sonakshi is pregnant and there are complications in her pregnancy. Doctor has said that first three months anything can happen. And I am trying to explain this to Maa that I can't take such a big risk.

Mamaji: But Maa must have refused to listen.

Bhaiya: If I am thinking that, am I wrong? Shouldn't I be worried for her?

Mamaji: No son, your worry is right. If I was in your position, I'd be scared too.

Bhaiya: Then you tell me what I should do? I can't sit idle like this. If you were in my position, what would you have done?

Mamaji: I'd have done what you are doing. But I'd have regretted later. If truth to be said, I am still regretting it.

Bhaiya: What are you saying?

Mamaji: Beta, there were complications in your Mami's pregnancy too. Vicky came in our life, and we didn't even think about another child in fear. Radha was ready, but I didn't want. But when we realised it was too late. God didn't support us, beta. But I always wanted a daughter. Dev, kids are blessings of God. Don't take hasty decision which might make you regret later.

Bhaiya thinks.

He says: Mamaji, I can understand what you are saying. I want a new emotion to add into our family... But...

Me: Mamaji, he is already paying for your user wife and loser son. How many kids do you want him to pay for? It's good that you didn't think of another kid. Poor Radha can't carry your family burden anymore.

And Bhaiya, don't listen to Mamaji. Do what you and Sonakshi feel is right. Mamaji doesn't love Radha nearly as much you love Sonakshi. So for him, losing his wife won't kill him.

But you know that what losing Sonakshi will do to you. So just find out about the complications and make an informed decision, whatever it may be.

So Bhaiya goes to someone who has proven guts to stand up to his mother - Bose family.

He says: I am sorry, I woke you up so late. Actually, I can't understand anything. Do you also think I am wrong?

Bijoy says: Dev beta, you think all problem is the biggest problem.

Asha stops him: Bijoy...

Bijoy: I am talking...

Asha: I want to say is...

Bhaiya: I know you think I am doing wrong. Every pregnancy has complications. I don't know why everyone thinks that I don't want this baby. But the truth is that I don't want anything more than this. But what if something happens to Sonakshi...

Bijoy says: I am sorry, Dev. Asha, I think Dev is absolutely right. He got a point.

Asha: Bijoy, you please let it be.

Bijoy: Why should I let this be? Sonakshi is my daughter too. She is something to me too. I am sitting here and Dev is talking to me.

Asha: Okay, fine. Dev, your worry is valid. I am not saying we should not think about the complications. But I think that you should put yourself in Sonakshi and Ishwariji's place once. Why don't we talk to Ishwariji to take Sonakshi to another doctor for second opinion? We will get some clarity.

Bhaiya: I am saying exactly that. But Maa is not willing to talk me nor letting me speak to Sonakshi. We can't ignore what doctor said, naa.

Bijoy: But talking is must. How else will we get a solution?

Bhaiya looks at Asha: If you talk to Maa, then may be...

Asha: No, I don't think that's right. If I talk to her, she might think that I am telling her what she should do. It's just one day. Why are you so tensed? Relax. You sit, I will make a nice cup of coffee for you.

Bhaiya says: No. Thank you. I have to go home now. I must talk to Sonakshi. Thank you and sorry once again.

Bhaiya leaves.

Me: I just can't tolerate Asha. Bhaiya came to them for advice, what does she do?

First, she always undermines Bijoy in front of anyone every single time as if he is her servent who spoke without permission or butted in someone's discussion. Even when Bhaiya is directing the questions to Bijoy, she is shutting up Bijoy.

I don't know how anyone can think such a disrespectful woman is wise.

Secondly, she is the platitude queen. She doesn't give a damn about her daughter. She is more concerned with how Ishwari is feeling.

She could have called Sonakshi to stay at her home so that Bhaiya could also be with her. Ronita is also pregnant. She could have got company. Yet, she doesn't want to interfere. Who cares about daughter? Grandkid is more important.

I seriously feel that Bijoy should just dump her and move on with his life.

At Dixit house, Ishwari is reading to Sonakshi from religious book.

Bhaiya is protesting from outside: No matter how much someone ignores me, my protest will continue. If you are my mother, I am your son.

Ishwari gets irritated. Sonakshi looks at Ishwari as if her school teacher caught her boyfriend peeking from the window.

Bhaiya writes messages on pieces of paper and passes through under the door.

So Ishwari writes her own message. Bhaiya reads it: Go to sleep. There will be no talk.

Bhaiya shouts from outside: I am not going anywhere. I am going to sit here.

Ishwari is exasperated.

Sonakshi can't figure out who to manage and how. Then she decides to check on him.

Ishwari stops her: Where are you going beta. Let him be. You take rest here. You should have full night's sleep.

Sonakshi: Dev is sitting outside.

Ishwari: Yes, let him sit there. (Then in an increased volume) What does he think? Only he worries for you? I don't worry for you?

Bhaiya is busy texting.

Ishwari continues: Now you are my responsibility. Everything will be all right. I will read good shlokas (hymns) from Geeta (Hindu religious book) to you. The child will get good culture. Go to sleep.

Sonakshi worries, but lies down.

Me: Maata, you are back with your tricks no? Sonakshi's husband and father of her child is sitting outside who happened to have missed all this during Soha's time. Yet you are keeping him away from his wife?

And Maataji, this baby isn't yours. It's your son and his wife's. So let them have their freedom.

Now you see, Sonakshi? When will you learn? You know how prospective wedding turns some women into bridezilla? Well, prospective grand kids turn some women into grandma-zilla. Now handle this mess.

Soha comes there and sees Bhaiya sleeping outside Ishwari's room. She goes in and sees her mother and her grandma in the bed.

She comes out and calls Bhaiya: Papa?

Bhaiya wakes up and says: Soha, what are you doing here? You didn't sleep?

Soha asks: Now what did you do? Why are you sleeping here and why is Mamma sleeping inside with Dadi? Papa, didn't I give you the best Papa title on my birthday? If you hurt Mamma and baby, then I will get angry and take that title back from you.

Me: Haila!!! Blackmail to inke khoon mein hain re... Ittu si ladki bhi emotional atyachaar mein expert.

(Blackmail runs in Dixit blood. This tiny kid is also expert in emotional torture)

Bhaiya: Soha, I wish I could tell you everything. But there are something you won't understand.

Soha: But you understand everything naa. You know I love little baby and I always will. If someone doesn't love him, then I won't love him either.

She walks off.

Bhaiya thinks.

Me: Poor Bhaiya. What a life!!! He has turned into Bijoy Bose. Even when he wants to do good, his entire family gangs up against him as if he is the common enemy.

Bhaiya is standing in the garden and looks at Ishwari's window.

Sonakshi wakes up. She caresses her tummy, checks on Ishwari and sits up on the bed.

She thinks: Dev, this is our baby. We also have to think about him naa? Nothing wrong will happen.

Bhaiya thinks looking at the window: Sonakshi, how do I make you understand? This baby is important to me too. But not more than you. I can't let anything happen to you at any cost.
Me: You know, these two are thinking on their own. But thanks to Ishwari, they are not being able to communicate.

Bijoy is right. How will it solve the problem without any communication? Ishwari can hardly block him from his wife for 9 months.

Had hain, yaar!!! (This is the limit, yaar)

PRECAP: Bhaiya is in the living room. Ishwari brings Sonakshi. The doctor is also there with another doctor.

Me: They should have brought a third one for tie breaker.

Bhaiya asks: Tell me doctor, what should we do?

The doctor says: It's still the same condition.

Ishwari asks the other doctor: What do you say?

The other doctor says: We are still talking about the child. But in this kind of condition, the mother is also at same risk.

Ishwari is shocked: What?

Me: Ooohhhh... Does it mean that Ishwari didn't know about the risk on Sonakshi? I thought Sonakshi must have told her. But since Sonakshi told everything to Bhaiya, why didn't she also said everything to Ishwari? Bhaiya could reveal this to Ishwari any time. She can hardly follow her everywhere.

Anyhoo, I have this feeling that this will be a chance for Ishwari to truly establish Sonakshi's value as a woman more than her grandchild.

Last time, Ishwari made Sonakshi feel worthless when she found out about the infertility. This time, she can make Sonakshi feel like her daughter if she values Sonakshi's life more than her grandkid.

NO RULES!!! YAY!!!

  1. Omg. When I think this woman can't irritate me more, there she goes with her self centeredness. Nothing can stop her from what she wants.

But u see the kid will be born and all thanks to the goddess ishwaris courage.

    1. Yep. CVs have this unhealthy obsession to prove Ishwari right every time. I have no doubt this time will be the same.

  2. In a country where hundreds of women die due to pregnancy complications there u have character like Ishwari who endorse risk taking.

    3. I know Tia.,i know my tweets will never make a difference. But they are pretty vain about their own product. You can make that out in most interviews. Just wanted them to know that not everyone is buying this crap.

  3. 1)ishwari will never change.i guess we'll have to deal with that.she might have accepted sona but she'll never stop her manipulations.even yesterday she was cold shouldering sona when she thought sona was gonna abort the baby.plus i really hated how she passed her demands on to sona through the story of nikki's birth.and now she wont even let dev and sona talk.
2)Asha should bijoy open his mouth.she is ready with her condescending "Bijoy" before he even let a word out.
3)sona;ishwari might as well lock her up inside IN for 9 months.her hypocrisy irks me the most. She sprouts awesome lectures any time Dev goes off the track which he often does,i agree.and in all those occasions we get ample lectures on feminism, women empowerment, integrity, free will, self respect etc etc.but when ishwari does the same i dont even see sona mildly tilting her head in protest.it seems she married dev to get ishwari for mil.Dev still has his reasons for his mommy obsession.but i will never understand sona's obsession for ishwari

    2. Exactly. Ishwari is behaving as if Sonakshi is carrying her child.

What the heck is this kicking Bhaiya away from his own wife carrying his own baby? How is this stress is good for Sonakshi?

And yes, I agree. The cute music doesn't suit the feel of the scene. Bring back the oho oho tune to amp up the creepy factor.

Asha is as usual disrespectful and insulting to her husband. But if Sonakshi had talked to Dev, she will be the first one to lecture on how to talk to one's husband.

Sonakshi loses her personality and voice in front of Ishwari. This is my biggest pet peeve. I can't tolerate her behaving like a meek lamb every time Ishwari makes her unreasonable demands. If you want to see your husband, go and see him. Who can stop you?

  4. What happened to Ishwari's job ? Did she resign? I don't remember. People get some space if she concentrates on her work. She was really irritating when she locked up Sona.

    1. I don't know. I haven't seen her stepping foot in that office since she went back after finding out Lakshya and Nikki's relationship. It seems Lakshya is happy to pay her for zero work because she is Nikki's mother. No intern could keep a job with so little attendance.

I don't think she is even interested in a career anymore since now she got her new obsession. Now Sonakshi will have a momzilla to hover over her for nine months. As I said, she should have talked to Bhaiya before disclosing her pregnancy to everyone.

    2. Haven't been here in a while. How have you been Tia? heard KRPKAB is ending so checked IF and your thread. So Ishwari got a job for herself? Interesting and strange. would actually go and watch those episodes. All said and done, Ishwari is a women with grit and endurance and can excel when she sets her eyes on a target. But from what I read, it seems she is back to her interfering self. Obsession for Dev and waris was always on her mind.

    3. Hey there. It's good to see you. Yes, Ishwari for a while turned incredibly progressive. But the moment Waris came into question, she is back to her obsession it seems. She has again started her interference. So I don't know what's going on. So watch the episodes, there are some interesting stuff to watch.

  5. This was one of the reasons why the cvs should never have brought a leap.

Either I wish there was no leap .. or even if there was a leap I wish Suhana was Saurabh's daughter whom Sonakshi loved just like Golu was for Dev.

Now since Suhana turned out to be Sonakshi's daughter, Ishwari's acceptance of Sona became so easy.

I wanted to see a scenario where Ishwari & Dev would have accepted 'infertile' Sonakshi back to their life.

Now everything looks so superficial & hollow.

Now we will never know if Ishwari accepted Sonakshi back just because she already got her waaris :-(

    1. I agree. That was precisely one of the objection I had raised when they got pregnant in Ishwari arranged honeymoon. They could have shown Suhaana as adopted daughter of Sonakshi too. There was no need to turn an her into a mother so that she becomes acceptable to Bhaiya and Ishwari.

      Delete
    2. Yes even if they would have showed Suhana as Sonakshi's adopted daughter that would have been great and also very progressive.

    3. I don't think we will ever see a progressive track in Indian television as long as regression sells.

  6. Now I really know why sony channel planned to shut this show. They must have heard the future tracks and come to this conclusion. The cvs keep going over and over the same situations again. There is momentary change in characters and then they r back to their original form. And Durjoy was blaming the fans for trp. If anything is to be blamed it's the sloppy writing and all the illogical tracks which drove ppl away.
Also I just can't bear Asha anymore. She doesn't let Bijoy speak only. And any mother, however strong will get little upset knowing that her daughter has complications in her pregnancy. Yahan to she is super cool and doesn't even ask for the probs. She is busy shutting up her husband and giving gyaan to Dev. It was the most pathetic scene.
And one thing I wud like to mention is the priceless expressions on Devs face when he got to know the news. I mean really hats off to Shaheer for that scene. I rem the scene where he comes to know of Suhana. U see the acting stand out amongst the illogical tracks. The one thing that we shud applaud is the acting of the characters. I mean they r too good. I guess that's why many stuck to the show instead of the story going down the drain.

    1. Agreed on all points. Ishwari is back on psycho mode, Asha is forever insulting to her husband but very willing to sacrifice her daughter for a grandkid (I totally agree with you. I mean not even a wrinkle of worry on her, wtf? Is she Sonakshi's real mother or step mother?). The only saving grace is Erica and Shaheer's brilliant acting. At least CVs give Shaheer good dialogues to carry the scenes with his excellent emotional acting. But poor Erica has to carry the bad dialogues convincingly with her acting. She has a harder task than Shaheer. If you ask me, I am now glad that the show is ending next week.
