Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi RELOADED!!!
Today is the day when KRPKAB returns for six weeks. I think it airs at 7 p.m. India time.
I am not sure when they will upload the episodes online. But as soon as they do, I will write the updates.
So stay tuned for the ride!!!
Episode: The episode starts with Bhaiya and Sonakshi sleeping and baby Shubh screaming his head off.
Bhaiya says groggily: I am in such condition after taking care of Shubh so long that I am dreaming of him crying.
Sonakshi mumbles: I am also dreaming of the same.
Bhaiya smiles groggily: This is our love that even our dreams are the same.
Sonakshi then wakes up and looks at Shubh who is screaming his head off.
Me: Honestly, how can anyone sleep through that much noise?
Sonakshi switches on the light.
She nudges Bhaiya: Dreams are not same, situation is the same. Shubh is really crying. Get up.
Bhaiya jumps up: What?
Sonakshi is about to jump out: Wait, Mamma is coming.
Bhaiya stops her: Sonakshi wait. I will go. You go to sleep. You go every time anyway.
Bhaiya picks Shubh up: No no no no. I am sorry, Shubh. I am sorry. Papa and Mummy thought you were crying in our dreams. We didn't realise that you were crying for real. Please tell me what you want.
Sonakshi: Papa is so mad that he doesn't even know that you can't speak.
Bhaiya: Hello. What are you saying? Shubh and I talk everyday.
Shubh agrees by screaming in the top of his lungs.
Sonakshi says: Are you done? Now give him to me.
Bhaiya refuses to hand over Shubh: Arre, no Sonakshi. If I don't do it, how will I learn? I also want to learn. You go to sleep and that's an order. I said naa? One second.
He hands over cottons to Sonakshi: Stuff your ears with these and go to sleep quietly.
Bhaiya then tells Shubh: You know Shubh, Mamma thinks Papa can do nothing. But Shubh is Papa's son.
Shubh screams louder.
Bhaiya: Okay okay. I will sing lullaby for you.
Then he sings horribly (not sings but just says some sorts of poem loudly). The gist of the poem is that why should we listen to old lullaby when everything is new. Now Shubh stop crying because you have Mummy and Daddy who needs to go to sleep.
Sonakshi laughs.
Shubh screams some more. Quite obviously the lullaby wasn't up to the mark.
Bhaiya keeps bouncing Shubh. Sonakshi falls asleep.
Me: I am very happy to see Bhaiya taking full responsibility of a parent. It's very important for both parents to bond with the baby and not just one.
If only mothers take care of the baby, the baby doesn't get a chance to bond with the fathers and it's important to have a father and child connection as much as a mother and child connection since the child will instinctively identify the mother's touch and smell since the moment of birth due to nine months of extra time within the mother.
Next morning, Bhaiya is making some list in foreign language (Sounds like Indonesian to me). Sonakshi wakes up. She checks on Shubh and then comes to Bhaiya.
She hugs him from behind and wishes him good morning.
Bhaiya also wishes her.
Sonakshi says: You didn't sleep naa. That's why you are making sounds like that.
He says: This is Indonesian language, not sounds. I am fine. I was just taking care of Shubh. Otherwise he'd have ruined your sleep. We should check on Shubh. Does he go out for drive at night?
Sonakshi says: Shut up.
Bhaiya says: Sonakshi, whatever I missed during Suhaana's time, I want to experience everything, do everything. On that note, your coffee is ready.
Sonakshi is impressed: You also made coffee?
Bhaiya smiles and nods.
Sonakshi asks: Okay, now tell me, why were you speaking Indonesian language?
Bhaiya: Some clients are coming from Indonesia.
Sonakshi: So what? You could keep an interpreter.
Bhaiya: Yes, but I want to impress them. I want some discounts.
Me: Also, it's courtesy and good manners to learn one or two words in the guests' language. It makes them feel welcome.
For example, greeting guests in their language and knowing words like "hello", "good morning", "good night", "thank you" and "sorry" goes a long way to make guests feel welcome in a foreign, unknown country.
Sonakshi: Oh so, Dev Dixit, business tycoon, wants discounts? Now speak in Indonesian language. It was sounding cute.
Bhaiya: Oh so now joker is sounding cute?
Me: Ummm... I think I missed a scene. Did I? Did the uploaded section missed anything? Where did that joker comment came from?
Sonakshi: Now speak.
Bhaiya looks at her intensely and says something in the language.
Sonakshi asks: And what does it mean?
Bhaiya says: I love you.
Sonakshi then repeats I love you in Indonesian language.
Bhaiya smiles and holds Sonakshi's hands: We got time for each other, but in Hindi-nesian language.
Sonakshi smiles: I know.
Bhaiya says: For that matter, now the family is not around...
Sonakshi: So?
Bhaiya says: So...
He is about to kiss Sonakshi, just then Shubh wakes up screaming.
Bhaiya says: Shubh definitely doesn't want any more brothers or sisters.
Sonakshi says: Actually, Shubh needs a nappy change.
Sonakshi goes to change nappy.
Bhaiya goes to help.
Sonakshi says she can do it.
But Bhaiya wants to help.
So Sonakshi says: Okay, fine. Hold him.
They change nappy together.
Shubh enjoys dual attention. His screaming stops.
Me: Shubh is one chubby adorable kid. I could just squeeze his cheeks. Good to see that Bhaiya is interested in all aspects of child rearing.
Bhaiya tells Sonakshi: Sonakshi, you have meeting today, naa?
Sonakshi: Yes, but I am not going to office today. I am at home.
Bhaiya: Okay, but what was the meeting about?
Sonakshi says: It was a project for the nutrition planning for the kids at Govt. school and Govt. official were going to come. But no worries. Dada will handle them.
Bhaiya says: But Sonakshi, you should go. Along with Shubh, those thousands of kids should also get good nutrition. I think you should go.
Sonakshi: I am here as back up. Dada can handle it.
Bhaiya: Sonakshi, what is your worry? You are worried for Shubh? Here Maa, Mami, Elena are here. They will handle Shubh. You go.
Sonakshi: But Dev...
Bhaiya: You are going to office from today and that's final.
Sonakshi: No, I don't want to go. I will miss Shubh. I wish I could take him with me.
Bhaiya: Sonakshi, you had to join office sometime anyway. Why not today? Besides, you will miss him. But I don't know if he will miss you.
Sonakshi: How mean!!!
Bhaiya: Anyway, you are the best. So you go and plan nutrition for those thousands of kids. Don't worry about Shubh, we will take care of him. So go and get ready.
Sonakshi smiles.
Me: Bhaiya has evolved into a truly enlightened mind. I am very happy to see that now they have a balanced and mutually respectful relationship and not controlling relationship like before where one or the other imposed their ideas on each other without their permission.
Anyhoo, Ishwari is playing with Shubh. Mamaji is also there.
Suhaana and Golu come running and starts to tug at Shubh who is very happy to have attention from his brother and sister.
Golu holds Shubh's hands and says: His fingers are so small naa?
Suhaana says: He is so small himself.
Mamaji says: You two are talking as if you two are so big yourselves.
Then Mamaji asks to take Shubh in his lap.
Ishwari doesn't want to hand over Shubh: Bhaiya, I just got him.
Then two sets of brothers and sisters start fighting over Shubh.
Golu says: You will see when Shubh grows up, he will look like me.
Suhaana: No, he will look like me.
Mamaji: You always do this, Ishwari. Whenever I say, give him to me, you always say that he just came to me.
Ishwari pouts and cuddles Shubh close.
Suhaana: There is no rules like that. I am a girl and I still look a little like Papa. And he is my baby brother.
Golu laughs: Who said that?
Ishwari intervenes: Oh ho. Now don't start fighting. Shubh looks a little like his Golu Dada (Elder brother) and a lot like his Suhaana didi.
Suhaana says: But Dadi, you and Cool Dadu were fighting too.
Ishwari and Mamaji look sheepish.
Golu makes fun of them: Hawww... Dadu was fighting with his Kachori?
Ishwari and Mamai laugh.
Just then Elena comes there: Golu, you are getting late for school and you are chatting here. Suhaana, you also come.
Golu doesn't want to go. He wants to play with Shubh.
Elena sees Bhaiya and Sonakshi. She complaints: See, Dev Bhaiya. He is not listening to me. Now you tell him.
Bhaiya sides with Elena: Golu, eat naa.
Sonakshi takes Golu's sides: No one will scold my Golu. My Golu is the sweetest. He is the best. See how he finishes his food fast.
Vicky says: Really Golu? Now let's see how best Golu finishes his food.
Sonakshi tells Suhaana to finish her food too.
Suhaana: Maa, I don't want to eat either. I have tummy ache. I can't go to school today.
So Golu also gets tummy ache: Yes, I have tummy ache too. I can't go to school either.
Mamaji: Looks like the tummy ache is a little too much. So these two have to be taken to a big doctor who has a big injection.
The kids get worried.
Elena: These two want to play with Shubh. That's why they are making excuses.
Bhaiya: Guys, you need to go to school naa? Otherwise what will you tell Shubh? That you failed?
Suhaana says: Papa, I have a lot tummy ache.
Sonakshi says: No tummy ache. No more excuses when it comes to school.
She goes to the kitchen.
She says to Elena: Here I am scolding the kids and I don't want to leave Shubh and go to work either.
Elena asks: You are returning to work? Is the leave over?
Sonakshi: Actually, I could have stayed back a few more days. But this Govt. project is very important. And if Dada didn't need me, he won't have told me about this, naa?
Elena: Did you tell Buaji that you are going to office from today?
Sonakshi looks at her.
Ishwari overhears their conversation and looks worried.
Sonakshi says: No. Not yet. What do you think? How'd it go?
Elena: There's no problem as such as you know. But Buaji may not like you returning back to work so soon. Shubh is just five months old.
Sonakshi: You are right. I will do one thing. When everyone leaves, I will talk to Maa.
Ishwari hugs Shubh and worries.
Me: Ishwari, remember that you were the one who wanted to love Sonakshi as she is. And you know that she is a career woman. Don't turn into annoying mother-in-law and be the support Asha and Dida must have been when Sonakshi didn't even have a husband to help out and didn't have any choice but to go to work.
Motherhood is important. But a woman's self identity and her personal life goals are also important.
Bhaiya is talking to his client on the phone in Indonesian and is about to get into his car when Sonakshi calls him.
Sonakshi: You are forgetting something.
Bhaiya: Oh yes.
He kisses Sonakshi's forehead.
Sonakshi: Not one, you are forgetting two things trying to impress these Indonesian clients.
She shows him his lunch box.
Bhaiya: Now what will I do with this lunch?
Sonakshi: Means what?
Bhaiya: I mean there is so much love around me. My tummy is full with that love.
Sonakshi: Don't talk rubbish. Eat your lunch on time.
Bhaiya: Okay.
He kisses her again.
Sonakshi: Double tip? Why is that for?
Bhaiya: Actually, it's your first day at work. That's why.
Sonakshi stammers: Actually, I was thinking how will I leave Shubh behind? If I get involved in this project, then...
Bhaiya: So what? There are plenty of people to take care of him. You go.
Sonakshi: But I didn't even talk to Maa yet. I don't know how she will react...
Bhaiya: When it comes to you, then Maa doesn't even listen to me. I am sure she will understand.
He leaves.
Me: That's what we are hoping for. Strange, isn't it that no one worries how a child survive if a father leaves for work. But assumes that the child will be psychologically damaged, if the mother leaves for work even if every single person in the house is available to take care of the child who sleeps most of the time anyway.
But how strange that when the same mother is doing twice as hard work in the kitchen or running errands, grabbing groceries, doing laundry (or other approved for women chores) etc., no one feels that the child is anyway getting mentally damaged or is neglected.
How many women have luxury to hover over their child exclusively without doing anything at all until the child is old enough?
Exactly!!!
At Bose house, Sourabh is saying to his daughter (who has same round face of Sourabh and same big eyes of Ronita): My baby, don't you have anything else to do except pee and poo? Huh?
Ronita: Do you think Shubh also pees and poos as much?
Sourabh: He is also a human baby. So he must pee and poo just as much.
Me: FYI, Sourabh dada, animal babies also pees and poos.
Sourabh says: But Sona is a super woman. You will see, Mishti (looks like Sourabh named his daughter, Mishti) when she joins office, naa...
Ronita stops him: One minute. Sona di is joining office? She was in maternity leave.
Sourabh: Yes, but I requested her to come back to office. This is a big project for the Govt. And we will only get this project on Sona's face value. But she is saying no.
Ronita: But how can she, Sourabh? Her child is very young now.
Sourabh: That's why she is saying no.
Ronita: Obviously she will say no. It's good that she said no. I am with her.
Sourabh: Ronita, this is a big Govt. project and there's a lot of prestige attached to it. We can only get it on her name. Otherwise, we won't get it. If she attends the first meeting, then I can handle everything else.
Me: That's quite understandable. Why would anyone give a nutrition contract to someone who has no degree in nutrition? Govt. will definitely want to meet the nutritionist to check their knowledge and experience. Why would anyone give a project without interviewing the project head?
It's like sending someone else to give your job interview.
Sonakshi comes inside where Ishwari is speaking baby talk with Shubh: Ask Mamma where she was. She didn't take you. Scold her where she was. She didn't take you. Take him, take him.
Then she hands over Shubh to Sonakshi: A child can't stay away from his mother longer than this. Isn't it?
Sonakshi smiles and hugs Shubh.
Ishwari says: What is going on? You are looking tensed.
Sonakshi says: Actually Maa, I have to go to office.
Ishwari says: It's only been a few months. Why so soon? Look Sonakshi, if you don't take care of yourself, then you may get problems as you get older.
Sonakshi: Maa, I asked doctor about this. She said that I have recovered. There will be no problem.
Ishwari: Arre, but if you don't go to work, then there will also be no problem naa. This is your own work. Your brother is there naa to manage everything. A child needs his mother for six months. In fact, a child can recognise his mother's smell. He knows that his mother is around. When his mother is around, a child is healthy. Now see, how happy he is with you. Isn't it? If you don't stay at home, then how will he be fine?
Me: Ishwari is back in her interfering ways.
1. A child needs his/her mother for life. Not just six months.
2. Unlike pampered rich wives, there are plenty of women who give birth in the field in the morning, strap the kids in the back and get back to work. Childbirth is the most natural process.
Now there are different cases and situation associated with the birth. But if the doctor says that Sonakshi is good to go, then she is good to go back to work. If there's to be any possibility of future complications because she went back to work a month earlier than expected (Shubh is five months old), then the doctor would have warned her.
3. Until now, when Ishwari was hogging Shubh to herself, Shubh was just as happy as he is when he is on his mother's lap.
If Sonakshi would have clutched Shubh 24/7 to keep him healthy by sniffing her body's scent, then also Ishwari will get pissed.
Until now she didn't think that Sonakshi must be around Shubh's general vicinity for him to sniff out her scent. But the moment she said that she needs to go to office, suddenly Sonakshi's scent is the new oxygen.
Seriously?
Now how about the father, eh? Doesn't the baby need his scent to sniff and grow healthy? Why didn't Ishwari think to tell Bhaiya that baby is happy on his lap, so he needs to keep sniffing his dad?
Ishwari better not go back to being psycho aunty.
Sonakshi: But Maa, you all are here, naa?
Ishwari: Beta, we are here. We are all here to give him love. But a mother's touch? A child can't stay without a mother's touch. And you tell me, can you stay at office without Shubh?
Sonakshi thinks.
Me: Come on. A mother's touch? Is Sonakshi going on a world tour? She is going to office which ends on the same day. Probably for her, the moment the meeting ends. Why is Ishwari behaving as if Sonakshi said that she is going on a month long business trip?
Just then Sonakshi gets a call from Sourabh.
He is hoping Sonakshi picks up her phone.
Sonakshi doesn't pick up the phone. So Sourabh sends her a text message hoping she'd read it.
In the meanwhile, Bijoy is showing Rabindra Nath Tagore's book to Mishti to introduce her to Tagore.
He asks Mishti: Do you know who he is? He is Rabindra Nath Tagore. Who is he?
Just then Ronita says in baby voice: Rabindra Nath Tagore.
She laughs.
Bijoy says: Did I ask you? I was asking her. She was about to answer.
Ronita laughs: Baba, she still have time to answer.
Bijoy ignores her and sings Rabindra Sangeet to the baby.
Asha makes faces and shakes her head: Oh ho, Bijoy. If you sing so bad, then she will start crying. She will think what kind of grandfather I got?
Bijoy says: I am telling her about our culture. Just the way I taught Sona. See how intelligent she is.
Asha says sarcastically: Correct. You were the only one who raised Sona. I had no contribution there.
Bijoy says smugly: You raised this football, naa? Sourabh? His credit goes to you and Sona's credit goes to me.
Sourabh: Baba, I also run the company with your bright daughter okay? I am an equal partner.
Bijoy: Yes, you have some of my genes too, naa.
Ronita laughs.
Asha: Oh... So all the good qualities of our children came from your genes. Happy?
Bijoy: Yes.
Sourabh: Don't ask this from Dad. I will ask Sona. She is coming to office today anyway.
Asha is surprised: Sona is joining office today?
Sourabh: Not yet. She is neither replying to my messages not picking up the phone.
Asha is shocked.
Me: Why is everyone making this such a huge issue I am not understanding this.
May be I am too blind to gender to get it.
The doctor gave okay health wise.
The life partner (as in husband) is also fine because he knows his baby whom he loves just as much as his wife loves him, will be fine with his family.
The mother is feeling hale and healthy and the baby is yet to make an issue of the mother's not being around.
Yet, the two mothers are behaving that if Sonakshi goes and attends one meeting related to her career, Shubh will either hang himself upside down from his crib, stuff his face with his pillow, cry until his lungs comes out, breathe in carbon monoxide for lack of motherly scent and will be rubbing himself on sandpaper because mother's touch is missing for say at the most 6-7 hours.
Yet, when both the babies' fathers are planning to go to work, there's no hue of the same cry and wailing.
Apparently, babies are known by their father's name. But don't really need their scent or touch or their presence 24/7 for that matter. Then why not give babies the mother's name since only a mother is as essential as oxygen who needs to be on call on demand 24/7?
What the heck?
Sonakshi asks Ishwari: Maa, you are not happy with my decision naa?
Ishwari: Sonakshi, if you can read my mind, then understand your little heart's needs. It's just a matter of a few months.
Here Asha is blasting Sourabh: Why did you ask her to join so soon?
Sourabh: Maa, this is not a little project. It's a big Govt. project which only Sona can handle.
Bijoy: But why are you getting so worried because she is joining work? She joined work in two months in Soha's time.
Asha: Yes, but then she needed the work. She didn't have any company at that time.
Bijoy: Yes, but now the company is bigger. It's important for her to join.
Ronita: I can't even think about going anywhere for two years. Hats off to Sona di.
Me: Asha, you never had earned money and that shows very clearly.
Here's some facts for you.
1. Sonakshi joined at two months when it was Soha's time. Sonakshi is healthy and Soha is not mentally damaged. Shubh got four extra months of his mother's undivided attention. I am pretty sure, if anything, by your and Ishwari's twisted logic, Shubh should turn out better than Soha because of mother's scent and touch for four extra months.
2. If Sonakshi wants to work, she can. It's one thing if she was physically weak or feeling exhausted. But she is looking as healthy as Sourabh and Bhaiya. If they can go to work, she can too.
Childbirth affects different women differently. If Ronita doesn't wanna move and Sonakshi does, only they have the right to decide what is suitable for them in terms of health and their children.
Because let's face it. No one knows the welfare of a child better than his parents. So let Shubh's parents decide what is good for their child and you two mothers butt out.
Asha: No, I am not happy with Sona's decision. Ishwari ji won't be happy with her decision either. She is so over protective about Sona and Shubh.
Me: And that is the crux of the matter. Everything about Asha is pleasing others over her own family. The only reason she is showing displeasure of Sonakshi joining work is because she thinks Ishwari will get upset.
If Ishwari doesn't mind or care, Asha will also have no problem with Sonakshi joining work.
Who the eff cares about one's own daughter when you can care about her mother-in-law more?
What loyalty, Asha!!! You deserve slow claps for being the mother I won't wish on anyone.
Sonakshi says: Okay Maa, I won't go. It looks like I shouldn't be going. So...
Shubh starts fussing. Sonakshi leaves with her.
Ishwari stops her: Sonakshi wait. I am worried for Shubh. But I am also worried for you. I can't see you upset. You go to office.
Sonakshi says: No, Maa. I am not upset. What you were saying was right. I will stay back for a while.
Ishwari says: I know you. I didn't give you birth. But you are my daughter. You are understanding when you are happy. But you are also understanding when you are upset. It's only a matter of one day. I will take care of him.
Sonakshi: But Maa...
Ishwari says: Do you want get scolded before you leave? Give him to me.
She takes Shubh from her: Go get ready.
Sonakshi caresses Shubh and leaves to get ready.
Ishwari cuddles Shubh.
Me: Again, Ishwari has turned into a better mother than Asha. Asha only cared for what will Ishwari think. She was not at all concerned for her daughter.
But Ishwari only cared about her grandson and her daughter-in-law's happiness. She didn't care for anyone else.
Now who is the best mother?
Precap: Sonakshi is showing Soha's picture to the school guard and asking about her.
The guard says that she didn't come.
Sonakshi calls Bhaiya and tells him that Soha didn't come to school.
Bhaiya relays that news to Ishwari who gets shocked. Looks like Asha is also there.
At the school, Sonakshi says she can't find Soha anywhere.
Bhaiya asks if she came on time.
Sonakshi says: Yes. But I can't find her anywhere. Where she can go, Dev?
Bhaiya thinks.
Me: Soha's antics started again. Then it will be the same thing on repeat. Soha broke her promise to never run away again to do something cutesy for her brother, her parents will say awww and she will again got away learning that if you do cutesy staff, your actions don't matter.
Last time when Soha ran away before Shubh's birth the day of ultrasound, she promised that she will never go anywhere without telling her parents.
But it seems like she learned from Bhaiya the art of making and breaking promises.
No Rules!!! YAY!!!
I am not sure when they will upload the episodes online. But as soon as they do, I will write the updates.
So stay tuned for the ride!!!
Episode: The episode starts with Bhaiya and Sonakshi sleeping and baby Shubh screaming his head off.

No Rules!!! YAY!!!
Hi Tia,
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see KRPKAB is back. Glad to read your updates again.
Waiting to read complete update.
Thank you so much.
Thank you. Updating... :D
DeleteThis 's the reason I don't like this show. They glorify and beautify a woman who 's just human.
ReplyDeleteHi Tia,
ReplyDeleteAs much as I hate ishwaris idiosyncrasies I feel she 's rite. 5 months is too early for a mother to leave her baby. I know others are there but fir a kid mothers care comes first. But I don't like d way ishwaris manipulating.
Sorry Tia. I take back previous comment. Looks like krpkab is still hung over Ishwari. Everything in this show 's abt Ishwari. Noone else matters.
ReplyDeleteShubh 's obviously ishwaris project and sona is d tool. Hav never seen a show so obsessed with a character.
DeleteHi Milly,
DeleteI agree. Five months is too early to join work. But in my opinion, every situation, one should judge the priorities of the situation.
For example, if Sonakshi was not feeling well, then even one year is too early.
If she lived in a Nuclear family, then she'd have to give her little child to a nanny who may or may not do a good job.
But if five months are not too early for a father to rejoin work, then it's not too early for a mother to rejoin work.
Simply because, while a child only needs the mother in nine months before he/she is born, once the child is born, either of the parents can take care of the baby.
Traditionally mother had been doing that role. But here in Canada, since we have both maternal and paternal leave, some women take maternity leave from the ninth month until the baby can drink breast milk from a bottle (like up to 4-5 months) and then the mother goes back to work and the father takes paternal leave until the baby is 10-11 months old.
That way, both can enjoy raising the baby and bond with the baby equally.
But that's my opinion. I believe, only the parents should decide what is best for their children until they are adults. The grandparents can baby sit and pamper. But their jobs are not interfering in parenting.
Unfortunately, Asha is that parent. Ishwari was going that direction. But she turned herself at the last moment. I will tell you, she is still the favourite character of CVs.
Agree with u. My problem with d show is the sloppiness in writing the other characters..I mean strong women like Asha and sona just become props in front of Ishwari. To highlight Ishwari they just steal sona and Asha logical and reasoning ability.
DeleteExactly. But that was always the case here. They tried to highlight Ishwari so much that every other character suffered for it.
