Patronising Pat!!!

Have you ever experienced patronising pat?

What is that you ask?

Well, then you haven't experienced it.

Allow me to explain.

Please read the following in cutesy baby voice.

Awwww... You did such a great job for a <insert gender>

How sweet... I didn't know <insert race/gender> can also be so smart.

How adorable... You understood the concept so fast. You are smarter than I thought you'd be. Want a cookie?

Now watch the episode to see live telecast of patronising pat to the audience.

EPISODE: The episode starts where yesterday's episode ended.

She hands over her phone: Take this and go. And there's no need to come from tomorrow.

Nikisha: I have no desire to work in your home either. And I will tell my manager to blacklist your family. Then I will see how you get nanny.

Radha says: The door is there.

Nikisha leaves.

Radha whispers to Ishwari: Thank God.

Ishwari also makes the same gesture.

Sonakshi turns to Bhaiya: Dev...

Bhaiya says: Sonakshi, please now you don't start to lecture me.

Ishwari says: Dev, you are seeing my fault in this?

Bhaiya: Maa, it's not your fault. I am just not getting why there was so much need to panic? I took the children out and came back. But you all came all the way to hospital.

Sonakshi: Dev, your phone was switched off and we were also worried for Shubh.

Me: Ummm... Hold on a second. Worried for Shubh? Whyever for? Shubh wasn't the one who was sick. Suhaana was sick. If anything, you should have been worried about Suhaana. Who worries about the healthy child when another child is sick?

Are you also developing Ishwari like obsession with the male child, Sonakshi?

Bhaiya: Why were you worried? Because he was with me, that's why? You think I can't take care of him naa? Sonakshi, all I wanted was a chance, a month to prove myself. Give me that chance. I can handle everything. There was no problem. But I don't know why you interfere so much.

Ishwari: Dev, even after seeing everything, you will say this?

Bhaiya: Maa, I am just saying I need some space to do my job. I want to take my own decisions. I need your support but you have it in your head that I can't do anything, can't take care of my kids.

Me: Bhaiya is absolutely on point in here. But Bhaiya, the thing is that if you take impulsive decisions, then it's hard to take you seriously.

You hired a girl on the first day, without seeing her work. You agreed with whatever salary she asked for and believed every single thing she said without verifying if she is lying or not.

Then tell me, who will believe you?

You want to be taken seriously? Prove it by action.

First of all, take help when you need it. If you think your family is judgemental, then get someone who is not judgemental. Gunni was already familiar with Soha and had proved herself. Call her and hire her since Sonakshi already trusts her and you all have seen her work.

Secondly, forget playing Betty Crocker in the kitchen. You got help for that. Not every stay at home has that convenience. You do so take help where you need it.

Thirdly, concentrate on figuring out a workable schedule with the children. Here's one.

1. Make sure Shubh wakes up with the older kids and you can feed him at the dining table while the older children have their breakfast. Get the school bags packed the night before and not left to do in the morning rush time. Tell your helps when to get the lunch ready and make sure the kids take it. Drop them off to the school and take Shubh with you then.

2. When you come back, give Shubh a bath, massage, feed him and then put him for a nap while you take rest. If you are not well-rested, you won't be at the top of your game.

3. Make sure you set an alarm to get up at least 1.5 hours before pick up time. Feed/change Shubh and again take him with you to pick up the older kids.

4. When they come home, make sure the older kids eat and then play while you and Shubh have fun with them.

5. When the sun goes down, it's time for studies and homework for the older kids.

6. Once homework is done, it's dinner and bed time. Make sure you put down Shubh right after the older kids go to bed so that he sleeps through the night.

Next day, repeat.

Sonakshi says to Bhaiya: This was your decision. And you also said that you will make mistakes and it will take people time to accept this decision. Then if you said that, then also accept your failure naa.

Ishwari nods her head completely in sync with Sonakshi just like she used to do when in season one Bhaiya used to lecture Sonakshi after their first marriage.

She just changed team now. It seems Bhaiya and Sonakshi are never one team though.

Sonakshi continues: Okay. If you still want one month, you will get one month. I won't break my promise.

Me: Wow, Sonakshi. Don't do him any favours. You admitted that you aren't interested in career anymore. So why don't you stay at home as your goddesses Asha and Ishwari suggested?

Let Bhaiya choose what he'd rather do.

The way Sonakshi behaving it's as if Bhaiya is the step-father to her children and he needs her permission to take care of his kids.

Ishwari and Radha are shocked.

Ishwari walks off in huff.

Me: *SNORT* As usual.

Bhaiya and Sonakshi run after her.

Ishwari goes to her room and shuts the door.

They knock on the door and pleads for her to open the door.

Bhaiya promises that he will do anything she says.

Sonakshi also begs for her to open the door.

Ishwari is sulking inside: Today my own children are not listening to me. I am a mother. I wish their welfare. What wrong am I doing here?

Sonakshi pleads from outside: Maa we know you are angry with us. But don't be angry like this. Scold us if you want to.

Ishwari goes and opens the door: I don't want to hear what you have to say. You have your opinions, your decisions. I won't interfere in there. But I also took a decision. That I will take care of Shubh, not some nanny. He is so young. Why can't you understand this? No outsider will raise Shubh. Whatever decision has to be taken for him, I will take them and no one will interfere in there. Did you get it?

Bhaiya and Sonakshi agree.

Me: Seriously? Isn't that repeat telecast of "I take all decisions for my Dev" replacing Dev with Shubh? Ishwari is back to her Maata antics.

And Maataji, no one ever asked you to step back from taking care of Shubh. You were the one being uncooperative because Bhaiya and Sonakshi didn't dance to your tunes.

You don't get to huff, puff and sulk and behave like a bratty teenager at your age.

And what Bhaiya and Sonakshi? This is why you two get manipulated. Spine naam ki koi cheeze hain ya nehin? Koi bhi aake dhamki deke ya patti pada ke nikal leta hain.

(Do you even have something called spine? Anyone can threat or brainwash you two)

Ishwari asks Sonakshi to get Asafoetida and Carrom Seeds. She says: Shubh is not being able to digest his food and that's why he keeps crying. And he is not even getting massage properly (Glares at Bhaiya). That's why he is getting rashes. We are having to run to doctor constantly. Bring me heated massage oil. Didn't you hear?

Bhaiya: Yes, I am going.

They leave.

Sonakshi says: Dev, let Maa do what she wants to do. She knows these things better than us and she loves Shubh very much. She will be at peace. Okay?

Bhaiya: Okay.

Sonakshi: Let's go.

Me: I didn't know motherhood comes with a medical degree. It seems that Sonakshi doesn't know why Shubh is crying, the doctors can't figure out (although to my recollection, Shubh has not been taken to doctor even once), but Ishwari knows what's wrong and of course it's because Bhaiya is incompetent in taking care of his own child.

Well, the question is that if she knew what was wrong, why did she let Shubh scream his lungs out just to teach Bhaiya a lesson? What kind of loving grandma is she if proving a point is more important than Shubh's comfort?

And if grandmother knows better than even a doctor mother, then why did Ishwari create such a major fuss about Sonakshi being the only option for Shubh?

By the way, shouldn't they all be worried for Soha who actually keeps having stomach ache than Shubh who just cries and calms down after a little attention?

Soha is lying on Bhaiya's lap. He is caressing her head. Sonakshi brings some brown stuff for Soha. She asks her to drink it. She says that Ishwari made it for her. If she have it, she will feel better.

Me: Ishwari Maata is the cure all for all diseases.

Soha drinks the brown stuff. Sonakshi kisses her.

Soha: Papa I know. You are feeling sad.

Bhaiya says: No. Why are you saying this?

Soha: Yes, Papa. Because you aren't with Shubh. Right?

Bhaiya feels sad.

Sonakshi says: Dev, Maa is doing this because she also loves Shubh very much. And Shubh is also so young. I remember when Soha was young, Maa and Baba used to feed her something or other. Isn't it?

Soha nods giggling.

Sonakshi: Let Maa do what she wants to do.

Soha says: Yes, Papa. Mamma is absolutely right. Dadu and Dida used to feed me something or other. She just used to go to office.

Sonakshi teases her: Oh kiddo. You are complaining about me...

Sona tickles Soha. She giggles.

Bhaiya also smiles.

Soha: But I have a question. Shall I ask?

Sona: Hummm...

Soha: Papa takes care of Shubh very well. Whenever he cries, Papa stops him from crying. Why did Dadi scold Papa then?

Sonakshi doesn't have answer to that question.

Bhaiya scoots closer to Soha and says: Because Dadi's anger also has a lot of love. She loves Shubh a lot. And she knows how to care for children. I am just learning. She is worried for him. That's why she scold me.

Soha: But now you are a big boy. You still get scolded.

Bhaiya: Yes, I am a big boy. But everyone gets scolded by their mummy.

Soha: But I know Papa that you will learn everything.

Bhaiya laughs: Really? How did you know?

Soha: Because you are super papa.

Bhaiya hugs her in happiness. Sonakshi smiles.

Me: May be this is why every man needs a daughter. No one can match this unconditional faith, blind trust and immense love that a daughter has for her father.

Sons also have the same feelings towards their father. But for daughters, their father is the first superhero, the ideal man, the bravest knight in shining armour who can do anything.

Sonakshi don't have this trust, this support for her husband. In fact, she doesn't have it for her father either. She only has it for Ishwari and Asha.

The kids are arguing at the dining table.

Golu says he will finish dinner before Soha.

Soha gets competitive: No, I will finish it before you.

They argue.

Bhaiya smiles.

Elena says: Golu, enough. Soha, chew your dinner properly or your tummy will hurt again. Don't listen to Golu Molu.

Soha laughs: Golu Molu?

Just then Ishwari comes with Kofta. She asks them to have it. She says that she made it.

Bhaiya gets excited: Oh wow. Kofta? I even forgot the look of Koftas. You made Kofta after a long time, no?

Ishwari doesn't respond. She just goes back to her throne... errrr... pardon. Slip of the typing... I mean chair and continues to sulk.

Bhaiya, poor oblivious guy, keeps enjoying the food.

Me: One good thing happened to him is that now he is no longer fine-tuned to Ishwari's sulk-o-meter. Before Ishwari would sulk and Bhaiya will lose whatever peace of mind he had left and run after her to promise her sky and moon.

Now he knows the value of peace of mind. So he is licking off Kofta instead of biting on the bitter gourd (Ishwari).

Just then Shubh starts crying.

They all look at each other.

But no one moves.

Me: Bhaiya, poor thing, is now scared to go to his own son. This is what these women did to him.

Didn't Ishwari say that Shubh's responsibility is hers. Then why is she not moving her butt?

Ishwari says: Why are you two looking at me? Shubh is crying naa. Go and make him stop.

She looks at stunned Bhaiya: Shubh is my grandson but he is also your son. Go. He will calm down when he sees you. Go...

Bhaiya: Thanks Maa.

He runs.

Ishwari smiles in a benevolent style

The kids cheer: Yay!!! Superman Papa is back.

Everyone smile.

Me: I didn't find this scene cute at all. Instead I found it sad. I am seriously feeling sorry for this hapless man. Today he thanked his mother for allowing him to go to his own son. Asha, Sonakshi and Ishwari made him like a stranger to his own children who needs their permission before he can go to them while his children cheered to see their father getting the priviledge to handle one of them.

Imagine if Bhaiya was a woman and needed Ishwari's permission to go to her child while her children cheered to see her getting that opportunity. Hard to imagine naa what kind of mother will threat another mother to stay away from her own child?

But this happened to this father. How sad that it looks comedy to the people at the table and not a tragedy.

This is the definition of patronising pat where you get pieces of your right handed to you as a priviledge and you are supposed to be grateful for it.

Upstairs, Bhaiya quiet Shubh down and put him to bed.

Sonakshi comes upstairs: Shubh baby fell asleep.

Bhaiya shushes her: He is sleeping.

Sonakshi whispers: Okay. You made that baby fall asleep. Now what about this baby?

Bhaiya pats his ears: Are my ears okay? What am I hearing? My wife is being romantic?

Sonakshi laughs: Tired?

Bhaiya: At least relieved that Maa forgave me. She accepted this new job. Now I will just have to do this job well.

Sonakshi: It's been so long.

Bhaiya: I missed you.

Sonakshi: I missed you too.

Me: I don't know if you guys are enjoying this romance or not. If you are, don't read this portion of "Me". If you aren't then read along.

I had a big issue in season one when Bhaiya would not support Sonakshi in anything she would do until Ishwari gives her nod of approval. Then suddenly he is in romantic mood.

Now I have the same issue with the reverse character. Now Sonakshi made Bhaiya feel useless and is doubting his every move, but when Ishwari nods her regal head, she is suddenly in buttering mood.

Seriously? Do you only appreciate your spouse when they are in popular list of Ishwari? And when they are in her shithead list, suddenly you are against that same person?

I have never seen Sonakshi or Bhaiya actually stand by each other regardless who is against them. NEVER!!!

So I did not enjoy this romance. Sorry.

They are about to hug when Shubh wakes up crying.

Bhaiya is about to say something when suddenly Shubh stops crying.

Bhaiya says: He is teasing us, you know?

Sonakshi: Yes, he takes after his father.

Bhaiya: I think if we want to spend time together we have to think of something else.

Sonakshi: Like what?

Bhaiya: I guess, we should meet at your office.

Sonakshi: At office?

Bhaiya: Yes. If we need privacy from the kids, then that's the best place. Besides, your work just started now, you will get even more busy in the future.

Sonakshi looks tensed.

Bhaiya: What happened? When I talk about work, you get tensed.

Sonakshi: No, it's nothing like that.

Bhaiya: No, you can tell me.

Sonakshi says: Actually Dev, that project...

Sonakshi tells how she is torn between Ishwari at home and Sourabh at work.

Sonakshi: So that's why the project is not confirmed yet.

Bhaiya worries.

Next morning, Bhaiya brings Shubh to Sona's office.

The female employees say to each other: Just look at him, he is so cute naa?

Bhaiya peeks into Sonakshi's office.

Sonakshi is instructing her employees.

Bhaiya tells Shubh: Shubh, look. Your mummy. She is working. She is not as efficient as me. But sometimes she gets the job done. How I am efficient? Really? Look, I am doing multitasking. I am managing you and also came to meet your mummy. Now let's go and let her work.

Shubh is gnawing his carrier. Bhaiya plays with him: What happened? What are you up to?

Just then some clients come and ask Bhaiya: Excuse me, we are here to meet Dr. Bose.

Bhaiya says: This is her cabin. Go straight and then turn left.

The clients say: Thank you.

Bhaiya says to Shubh: Someone came to meet mummy.

The clients come to Sonakshi's cabin.

Sonakshi apologises for leaving so suddenly last time.

The clients say: No worries. Do you have a perfect dad campaign going on in your office?

Sonakshi is wondering what he is talking about.

She looks at her employee. She says: No.

The clients point out Bhaiya with Shubh outside.

Sonakshi smiles seeing them.

Sonakshi says: He is my husband.

The clients say: You mean Dev Dixit?

Sonakshi says: Yes.

The clients confirm: Business tycoon, Dev Dixit?

Sonakshi says: Yes. For that matter, your perfect dad campaign idea isn't that bad. So shall we start?

The client smiles and says yes.

Sonakshi does the meeting.

Bhaiya makes Shubh wave at her.

Sonakshi smiles.

The client says: Sorry to interrupt. But you are really very lucky.

Sonakshi agrees with him.

Bhaiya says to Shubh: Let's message your Mumma.

He asks her to finish her work soon. Son and Daddy need her.

Sonakshi smiles and responds back: Almost done and she also says that they are both looking handsome.

Bhaiya smiles.

Me: Talking about unprofessional behaviour, Sonakshi should not receive or send personal text messages when at work. Specially since it's not anything urgent.

Part of being a working person is respecting the work time and home time.

She can't scold Nikisha for unprofessional behaviour if she is doing the same.

Bhaiya is on his way home with his family.

Suhaana (where did she come from?), Shubh and Sonakshi are sitting at the back and Bhaiya is in the front by the driver.

Bhaiya says: Today Shubh came for an outing.

Sonakshi says: Dev, you know, my clients are very impressed with super dad. They think that we are running a super dad campaign at work.

Bhaiya: What can I do? Whatever I do, turns out to be the best and perfect. Just don't get jealous of me.

Sonakshi: I will try. For that matter, Saturday we are throwing a party. Will you come with me?

Bhaiya: Yes, of course. It's important occasion for you. And Shubh will also come.

Sonakshi: Really? You two boys don't forget my Soha.

Bhaiya: Soha is also in our team.

Suhaana smiles while playing with Shubh with a ball.

Bhaiya asks the driver to stop the car.

Sonakshi asks why. Bhaiya says: You do your work. I will have to get some fruits and vegetables for Soha.

Sonakshi: Okay, I am coming too.

She asks Soha to keep an eye on Shubh.

Bhaiya: No, it's okay.

Sonakshi says: Are you sure?

Bhaiya: I am sure. Ya.

Sonakshi says: Okay.

Bhaiya gets out.

Sonakshi tells Shubh: Look look, what is Papa up to? He has become vegetable man.

Suhaana laughs.

Bhaiya comes back with a bag of vegetables and probably fruits too.

Then they go home.

Me: This scene was cute. I liked this scene. I wish I had just watched the second half. The first half irritated me to no end.

On the day of the party, Bhaiya is in a suit with Shubh in his career, Soha is also dressed up making faces at Shubh to keep him entertained.

Media is interviewing Sonakshi while Bhaiya looks proudly at her.

The waiter brings drinks and snacks.

Soha grabs some snacks: Papa, I am having this. Do you want it?

Bhaiya says: No Suhaana, you know you should not have it. But you can have juice.

Suhaana gives up on the snack and takes juice instead.

Bhaiya says: Good girl.

Suhaana spills juice on her dress: Oh ho, juice spilled on my dress.

Bhaiya: So what? It will get cleaned.

He takes out a wipe and wipes off the juice.

Sonakshi excuses herself from the media and comes to Bhaiya: I am so sorry I got late from talking to everybody.

Bhaiya says: What to do? You are looking so pretty. Everyone must want to talk to you.

Sonakshi smiles.

Media continues to take picture.

Suhaana shows juice glass to Shubh. Shubh bends his head as if he wants it too.

Sonakshi asks Suhaana: Suhaana, do you want something to eat?

Bhaiya says: Sonakshi, bring us some starters. We are very hungry.

Suhaana says: Yes, Mamma. I want noodles.

Bhaiya says: Suhaana...

Sonakshi looks at Suhaana apologetically.

Suhaana grumbles: Offo. When will this stomach infection end?

Sonakshi says: I will go and bring something for you to eat. Okay?

Sonakshi is about to leave when someone comes to Sonakshi and says: Ma'am, everyone is waiting for you to give speech.

Bhaiya says: This is your project. People would want to hear your speech. So go.

Sonakshi makes sheepish face and goes with the lady.

Shubh yawns huge.

Bhaiya asks Shubh: Are you hungry? Do you want to eat something? Huh?

Shubh makes cute faces.

Bhaiya says: Let's sit right here and eat something.

He sits down with Shubh.

The presenter announces Sonakshi and congratulates her. Everyone claps.

Sonakshi says thank you.

Me: She is holding some sort of award. I don't know what it's for.

The presenter says: Don't thank us. You implemented such a big project in such a short time which will benefit so many kids. We want to know how did you manage to do that? Isn't it difficult for a working mother of two to balance work and life?

Sonakshi comes to the podium, puts the award and says: Actually it's difficult when no one stands by you or doesn't support you. But in this instance, I think I am very lucky. And all this credit, in fact 90% of the credit goes to someone else.

The presenter asks: Wow, who's that?

Sonakshi: Him, who has proved that a man can fill a woman's shoe. He went against the norms of the society and proved that he can be a super dad. He left his job so that his wife can work and get ahead. I know this doesn't sound true. But it's true. Because all these my husband has done. Until yesterday, he used to manage billion dollar company and today he manages our children. He left everything, even his work, so that I can get ahead.

If this was any other husband in the world, he'd have told me to leave my job and manage children at home. But my Dev handled everything and let me live my dream. People say, behind every successful woman is a man. But my Dev changed the definition of that saying. I can proudly say that behind my success is my husband's contribution. And thank you so much Dev. You are world's best husband and along with it, you are also world's best Papa.

Everyone claps.

Bhaiya raises Shubh's hand to acknowledge Sonakshi.

Me: Sonakshi, I am happy that you finally acknowledged your husband's contribution. But you actually proved me right which is my biggest disappointment with you.

When yesterday you were talking to Ishwari, no one could have guessed that this project is your "dream" and you are at all interested in your career. You blamed Bhaiya for pushing you to leave your children and you kindly bestowed the opportunity on him to handle the kids and prove himself for one month.

You also behaved in front of Ishwari that the only reason you are at work is because Bhaiya is stubborn and doesn't listen to anyone.

As a result, Ishwari showered her taunts, indifference and insulting attitude to Bhaiya. You, on the other hand, remained in her good books.

Today, you are proudly claiming that had there been any other husband in the world, he would have asked you to sit at home.

First of all, visit North America sometimes. You will see just how many husbands in the world won't even presume that they have the right to tell their wife what to do. They can request, but they can't insist.

Secondly, if the wife wants to be a stay at home mother and is dying to be exactly that, then yes. They won't have "forced" you to go to work. Because you know, individual freedom is a big thing here.

However, you are today behaving as if Bhaiya was the wing beneath your wings after Ishwari gave her approval. Until then, he was the stone around your neck that you had to carry or that's how you portrayed him while looked utterly innocent in front of Ishwari.

There are reasons Sonakshi that I no longer can tolerate you. All these Asha like traits are the reasons for it.

PRECAP: Bhaiya, Ishwari and Radha are in the kitchen. Ishwari and Radha look upset.

Bhaiya asks Ishwari: Did you also see the video?

Ishwari: We had to see it. We are getting so many calls all day, what can I tell you?

Bhaiya: I am managing my home. Is there anything wrong with it?

Ishwari: What's the need to tell outsiders what's going on in our house?

Bhaiya: We shouldn't have anything to do with people who have such low mentality.

Ishwari: Not all people in the society we live in have the same mentality as you.

Me: So? So what if not every person in the society think the same? Does it mean, like a sheep everyone has to change their thinking to match the popular opinion? Are thoughts to be picked by popular votes?

Is Bhaiya doing anything illegal? Criminal? Immoral?

Then why should he care about what anyone thinks?

If everyone decides that old women should not be allowed to live, will you Ishwari opt to die as well?

NO RULES!!! YAY!!!

  1. Did u hear it. My husband gave me the freedom. Does any woman need to be given d freedom. What disgusting lines.

    1. Precisely. And funnily enough, until yesterday, Bhaiya was the one forcing her to go to work.

  2. The writing socks. First they showed as ish can't handle the kids just so that bhaiya could become house husband. Nw suddenly ish is the answer to all issues. I can't even tell u how passed I'm with the cvs rite now. Trust me I'll never read a book of durjoy, if this is what it offers.

    1. Yep. I don't even get the point of the tracks.

  3. I don't know what made makers to make this track...how come they could not think about real issues.

They made Sonakshi...dont know what she is. When dev taken responsibility means she washed hands in taking care of children. Yday shub is crying...she looking at dev n eshwari? Which mother on the earth wait for permission to meet her child.

Dev supporting is good concept...but sona is all eshwari mahaan is bad concept. It's so irritating to se ma ma...all the time. When she will learn trust n give imp to dev? If dev is failing, she cannot support him?

No doubt Erica is not at all happy about this track. Erica is such a fine actress, they could have given Sonakshi centric story as sha is out of town. Hope in future, she selects some better concept..

    2. Exactly. But are you surprised? CVs took social issues on women's rights, infertility, gender biased etc and butchered them in the name of stereotypes before. Why would it be any different now?

    3. I am not at all surprised. Once I wanting to know dd's writing...now I don't want even know names of book.

  4. I was wishing to see

    A) sona wants to continue job not dev pushing. Any girl who faced such a past with prenuptial agreement..will never depend on anyone. They could have shown eshwari realising what extent her act has damaged.

    B) instead dev leaving job, both adjusting their working time n managing. In this process they could show dev compromising some deals

    C) eshwari could have been shown same disappointing lady as she cannot see dev helping wife

    D) when children are small..its tent to get so busy...we forget our personal life n you will not be able to pay attention to partner. There side effects of ignoring partners. How they make up..They could highlight that part as well.

There are so many real issues. Off all those issues..they came up with crap..sona robotic.saying ma ma.. dev bichara.. eshwari don.

Most hilarious is they are giving Vicky Elena lovely lovely moments..which was most eagerly waited by audience.😂

    1. Exactly Pramila. There are many ways this track could have been played. But instead they showed as if Sonakshi is no longer interested in her career (not torn having to choose between her children and career, but it was a clear choice for her), but because the project is for a good cause Bhaiya is forcing her to do it even though she is unwilling.

But what about those women whose work is not serving some altruistic cause? What if their work is serving the purpose of their own personal satisfaction and growth? Do their work then turn meaningless?

Why not show that Sonakshi wanted her career because she is a career woman, but with Bhaiya going for his work late and Sonakshi coming from her work early, they can tag team in raising children and having a career at the same time?

There are so many ways this could have been played. But I was expecting CVs to do justice to this issue when they had never done it before.

And the worse thing is that first Bhaiya needs permission from Sonakshi to take care of his own children and now they both need permission from Ishwari to tend to their crying baby. Are you frigging kidding me? Bhaiya is no longer Mamma's boy, but Sonakshi is definitely a Mamma's girl now.

    2. We being working parents we know hurdles in career while grazing children. Cvs have taken most stupid n illogical way.

They are giving wrong message about parenting. When child cries we parents leave everything n run to child to see what happened. No parent will wait for other person approval.
Also the way sona character is shaped it's really sad.

      Delete
    3. Exactly. The surprising thing is that usually other people wait for parental approval before approaching a child. Here, parents are waiting for other people's approval before going to their own child. Seriously?

  5. Bottomline 's sonakshi does not have a personality now. She is just there to play second fiddle to ish and romantic interest of bhaiya. Did u see the way she ran after bhaiya. Have u seen her portray such overt emotions for anyone else. Not even for shubh.
