Sonakshi: These are invoices. Scan and email them to the Chartered Accountant.
The employee gets a call again.
Sonakshi says: Your phone is ringing. Pick it up.
The employee says: No ma'am. It's okay. It's from my home. I will call back later.
Sonakshi: So what if it's from your home. It could be something important.
The employee says: No ma'am. Nothing like this. I will get print out of this.
She is about to leave when Sonakshi calls her back and asks her what happened.
The employee says: This is our wedding anniversary and my husband planned dinner for us. But I have made him understood that today I have a lot of work pending at office. We should postpone our dinner. But he is not listening.
Sonakshi says: He should not listen either. Arre, occasions like this don't come all the time. Go and call him and let him know that you are coming.
The employee says: But ma'am. There are so much to do here.
Sonakshi says: I will manage. Now you go and enjoy. And Happy Anniversary.
The employee thanks her and leaves.
Sonakshi gets back to work. But she remembers the past when she was alone in her anniversary with only Soha for company.
Flashback:
Sonakshi is in a restaurant. She sees couples spending time together.
Soha calls her: Mamma, did you order ice cream for me?
Sonakshi says: Of course and it's already here. See, it's your favourite. Vanilla ice cream.
Soha says: Thank you, Mamma.
She eats her ice cream.
Then next scene is her writing her email where she writes how their life could have been like this. She wondered if he will ever wait for her under her house. She missed his madness, his anger.
Me: I think these scenes are fillers. Bhaiya already read those letters and he has more than made up for the past.
Sonakshi comes to her room at night and sees it decorated with roses and candlelight.
She is surprised.
Bhaiya comes out of the bathroom and stands by the door in style.
Sonakshi asks: Dev, all these...
Bhaiya says: I did all these for my beautiful wife. It was such a special occasion.
Me: Awww... Good job, Bhaiya.
Sonakshi is surprised: Occasion? Is today something special?
Bhaiya says: That means you don't even remember today?
Sonakshi asks worriedly: What is today?
Bhaiya acts: You broke my heart, Sonakshi. You forgot such an important day of our life?
Sonakshi stammers out: Tell me naa what is today.
Bhaiya continues pretending: No, enough. Don't say anything else.
Sonakshi starts pleading: Dev, I forgot. Okay, I am stupid. Tell me naa what is today?
Bhaiya continues his act: Sonakshi, how can you forget? Today, today is our romance day.
Sonakshi gets mad: You... I won't spare you.
She is about to leave when Bhaiya holds her hand.
Sonakshi: What are you doing? Let go of me.
Bhaiya: Did you see your face?
Sonakshi: Let me go.
Bhaiya: That's the problem. Now Dev Dixit can't leave you.
Sonakshi peeks into Shubh's bed.
Bhaiya continues: Shubh is sleeping with Maa. Golu and Suhaana are also in bed because they had no homework. That's why, coast is clear.
Sonakshi: One minute. There are no homework today either?
Bhaiya: Now are you going to discuss kids' homework with me right now?
Sonakshi: Dev, Elena and I are getting calls from Golu's classmates' parents because their children are getting spoiled because of Golu.

Me: Ummm... First of all, kids are in bed. And secondly, they will think that their parents love each other. Oh wait, as per Indian tradition, kids may never be able to confirm their guess that their parents actually love each other, right?
Bhaiya gives smouldering look. Sonakshi: Enough huh? Two is enough for now. Besides, all my excuses are finished.
Bhaiya: Then should I think this is a sign of agreement?
Sonakshi says: Dev, let go off my hand.
Bhaiya lets go.
Sonakshi: Okay. Now it's your turn.
Bhaiya: Me?
Sonakshi: Yes, and now it's your turn. You too give excuses like me.

Sonakshi: Yes.

Next morning, Ronita is lying on the bed and reading a magazine. Mishti starts crying.

She goes back to her magazine. The baby keeps crying.
She finally gets up: He went to office.
Then she calls out to Asha and Bijoy.
No one responds.
Ronita: Where did everyone go?
She finally picks up the baby and does baby talk.
The baby stops crying.
Ronita swings her and says: If you were in Sona didi's home, Dev jiju could have managed you too. Mamma's tension is over. She could have chilled then.
She gets up and goes back to the bed: Oh dear, how do they manage kids?
Me: Are you serious? God, such a lazybones. Why did she have a baby if she wants someone else to raise the baby for her? Children are primarily parents' responsibility. They can get help. But they are still parents.
In the school, the teacher has even less kids in the class than the day before.
She tells them to note down everything and learn it the next day. She will ask them questions on this.
Outside the class, the kids are having fun in Golu's troop.
They cheer.
A girl says: Golu, you know I went to the park yesterday and saw the flower from our textbook. I had fun.
Everyone wonders: You had a lot of fun?
The girl says: Yes.
Everyone choruses: Wow.
The teacher comes out and says: Golu, you made a joke out of my class. Because of you, no kid is paying attention to studies. Now you just watch what I do to you and your BigCha.
The kids hang their head.
She stalks off. The kids watch her leaving.
The kids ask Golu: Golu, what will happen now?
Me: I can't believe Bhaiya put Golu in this situation. This is utterly ridiculous. I hope no kids are watching this show.
What kind of moronic concept is 9 years old bunking class and playing outside, but miraculously acquiring knowledge?
Sonakshi is working at her office.
One of the employee says that she wants to discuss about the project. She got the list from the officials.
Sonakshi wonders: Of all phase?
The employee says: Yes, ma'am.
Just then she gets a call from Suhaana's principal: I am the principal of Suhaana's school. You come to the school immediately.
Sonakshi says: What happened? Is there any problem with Suhaana's grades or attendance?
Principal: There is no problem with Suhaana.
Sonakshi: Then Golu? Did he do any mischief?
Principal: Mrs. Dixit, this is about your husband Mr. Dixit. He has created chaos in school. If you don't come here in half an hour, I will cancel Golu and Suhaana's admission.
He hangs up the phone.
Me: Wait a minute. Principal, do you know that Mr. Dixit is an adult. You don't get to call his wife as if she is his mother whose kid didn't behave well. You can talk directly to Bhaiya face to face. Why did you call Sonakshi if this is nothing to do with Suhaana?
You should have called Bhaiya for issues about him or Elena for situation regarding Golu.
Bhaiya is in the school with other parents,
Sonakshi also comes to the school: Cancel my kids' admission means what? Is this a joke?
Bhaiya says to the principal: Please don't blame the kids. Management should know what is kids' requirement.
The principal says: Now you will tell me how to run my school, Mr. Dixit? I am principal of this school. I don't need anyone's advice.
Bhaiya: That is exactly your problem. You are not open to ideas. You are not even willing to listen to us. I also learned by this method. But it hasn't changed even after so many years. Everything should be updated with time. Today's children have different requirements.
Principal: Let me tell you again. I am principal of this school. I will decide what I have to do and when.

Me: Hold on a moment. That means, when the parents were complaining that the teacher was incompetent and wasn't doing a good job in PTA meeting, they were right. Bhaiya still argued with them for no reason then.
The principal says: Mr. Dixit you can't bring the kids in this.
Bhaiya: When we are on this argument, then I will make you realise that your schooling method is old and should be changed.
Me: But he can't change them, Bhaiya. It's not in his hand.
Whichever board the school is operating under decides the system. For example, ICSC, CBSC etc. Individual school can only control attendance, test time, facilities in school etc. They can't control the educational system.
CVs, couldn't you have at least ask around before bringing up this topic? This script is a complete hogwash.
The parents talk to each other.
Sonakshi says: Dev, what are you doing? Please calm down. At least think once.
Bhaiya: Sonakshi, I decided this after thinking it through. Whoever trusts me, please take the kids out of the class.
All parents take their kids and walk away.
Principal and the teacher worry.
They walk away.
Only Golu with his rebel troop keep standing.
Me: Where is their parents?
However, Sonakshi never ever supports Bhaiya in anything. But even then, at the very least, she could have made her point in private. This is undermining his position by directly speaking against him in front of everyone including those who are against him already.
She gave one month to Bhaiya and decided to trust her. But where is the trust if she questions everything he does? She can speak of her concern. But not in public like this.
Sonakshi approaches Bhaiya to talk when she hears Golu's troop saying: Golu, your BigCha is super.
Golu says: Not super, he is a superhero.
Sonakshi asks Bhaiya: Dev, what are you doing? This is a little too much. There must be another way naa.
Bhaiya: There is no other way. Someone has to raise their voice. I have no personal problem with anyone. Teacher also teach what they are taught to teach. Today, the whole world trains their children using practical examples. But here they are just asked to memorise books. Every child has a potential, a talent. But no one is paying attention to that.
The parents come back.
Bhaiya says: You all heard me. You know what I want. If you are with me, come with me.
The parents go out.
Sonakshi is surprised.
Me: I don't know what to say about this hogwash script. Nothing is making sense anymore.
Elena comes storming out of her room: I can never reach Vicky when I need him.
Radha says: What happened to my photographer daughter-in-law? Why are you rushing off like this?
Ishwari also comes there.
Elena: I am going to Golu's school.
Ishwari: Why? What happened?
Radha: Oh dear. Did my red's red do something wrong again?
Elena: No Mummyji. This time it wasn't Golu, but Dev bhai who did wrong. Whole school has been disrupted. The kids our out of the class.
Radha and Ishwari are shocked.
Ishwari: Why would Dev do this?
Elena: Because they have some conditions which the school didn't agree on. So he with protesting with some parents. And they said that the kids won't attend the class until the school agrees with their condition.
Radha: Oh God, why is Dev fighting with the school?
Elena: Mummyji, if the kids get affected because of this, I won't forgive Dev bhai. What if they suspend Golu and Soha from school? At least, he should have thought of their future. Dev bhai is... Okay, I got to go.
She leaves.
Radha asks Ishwari: Jiji, what happened to our Dev? Why did Dev have to start a revolution now, Jiji?
Ishwari worries.
Me: Elena, the school runs with Bhaiya's money. I think you can be sure that his kids are not going to be thrown out.
And if you are that concerned, why are you again late from going to the school? Other parents came on time. Even Sonakshi reached there on time despite being busier than you.
And if you have so much problem, why don't you take the responsibility for Golu? Bhaiya can decide for his kids.
First you take the responsibility before you start pointing your finger. She is such an ungrateful moocher.
But what Bhaiya is doing is not right either. He should not harass the school. Instead he should approach the education minister.
Golu calls Soha: Soha, did you get the news?
Soha asks: Which news?
Golu: If BigCha wants, he can rule the school. He is so powerful.
Soha: How?
Golu: BigCha is fighting the principal to make our study fun.
Soha: Wow, Papa is the best. It will be so much fun if that happens. But did the school give permission?
Golu: They will agree. BigCha is there naa. He will play his next trick.
Soha: You are sounding like TV serial's villain.
Golu: I may sound like that, but BigCha is hero.
Soha: Whose father is he?
Golu: Don't take too much credit. If BigCha rules the school, it will be fun. I will definitely pass if he teaches me.
Soha: Good for you, Golu. Bye.
She hangs up the phone.
Me: One thing I don't find palatable is how kids are growing up thinking that their father controls the world. It's not good for the kids to get used to power play. It creates a sense of entitlement and a corrupt society.
Bhaiya is telling everyone that he has collected data to prove that the kids don't need old education system. But until our fight with the management is over, we have to take the children's responsibility. The kids' studies should not get impacted. Do you guys agree with me? We will teach the kids at home.
Elena comes there: Dev bhai, I want to talk to you.
Bhaiya: Yes, Elena. Tell me.
Elena: Dev bhai, what is this? What's the need to create such a big issue in school? At least think about the kids. I don't agree to all this.
Sonakshi tries to stop her but she doesn't stop.
Me: So now you are seeing how it sounds. You did the same thing, Sonakshi.
And Elena, at least he is thinking about the kids. In your case, you even forget you have a kid.

Me: Bhaiya, let it be. Just keep this in your head that Elena and Vicky are like the junks and trash that people use as land fill and you will be fine.
PRECAP: Bhaiya tells Ishwari: The word Maa is so beautiful, isn't it? Today when I am managing house and handling kids, I realised what you have done for us. You listened to people's taunts but you still didn't complaint.
Ishwari smiles.
Bhaiya: Takes care of children and asks nothing in return. I love you, Maa.
Me: Bhaiya has become a better son since he stopped being a blind devotee to Ishwari. Now he is his own man, so he is also a better human being and a better son. And this will make him a better father.
Only an independent, strong man with solid personality can raise future stars.

They have gone too much overdrive. Too much OTT. Nothing is making any sense anymore. Sony TV just played with the sentiments of audience who were demanding extension. The truth is they just wanted a filler till PPK was ready.

Yes, may be people don't just solve one problem. But one can't solve all problems at the same time. That's where prioritising skills come into play.

This normal principal cannot do anything relates to system. If dev wants a change then he shd approach education board. Also in India CBSEI already introduced which has practical based classes.

Exactly my point, Pramila. How'd fighting with the principal or teacher help when they are answerable to the education board and to the education minister? At least that's what I know from my knowledge of the system. Not sure what has changed in India within past decade.

Changing education system cannot be over night. It would take months and years. They made it like they fight today n over night all training materials changed and ready for next day. How stupid is this.
