Tia's Thread - House of Cards!!!

This weekend was Toronto's Doors Open Weekend. Those of you who don't know what that is, it is two days every year when all historical buildings across the city open their door for general public to see the architecture, learn about what they do, ask questions about their history, their present day operations etc. I'd highly recommend this for all Toronto - nians or visiting tourists.  So that's what my husband and I did this weekend.  Somethings like art, historical landmarks, natural resources should remain unchanged and unspoiled. And somethings should just frigging upgrade.  This weekend was also a lesson in frustration because what I feared has happened.  Now Maata did change. Tia's Thread - Love Notes!!!

Today I would like to share something my husband and I discussed over the last weekend.  I told you that we went to Stratford Festival last weekend. One of the shows we watched was Twelfth Night last Saturday night. In that story, this duke who is crazy in love with a lady, keeps sending his minions to woo her on his behalf. In the end, the lady falls in love with one of the minions he sent to impress the lady. So when we came out, I said that even when I read the play way back when, I thought that the duke was a wimp. You don't send minions to do the task that matters to you. You certainly don't send minions to woo your lady.  My husband said that's right. It was a dumb move on the duke's part. Then he asked me if he had ever written any love letters for me like the duke wrote for his lady love. I laughed and teased him that nope.
