Tia's Thread - One Down, Two to Go!!!
Happy Canada Day to all my fellow Canadians!!! Hope you have a great Canada Day tomorrow and fingers crossed no rains (Down South) or snow (Up North) and just warm sunshiny weather!!!
P.S. Guys, can any of you open this thread on Monday, July 3rd? It's a long weekend and Mr. O and I might be out enjoying the long weekend. If none of you are available, then I guess we will skip the post for Monday since there doesn't seem to be as many people interested in the show anymore.
EPISODE: The episode starts with Riya, Dev and Sona talking about Kabir. Riya is complaining that her brother likes about Kabir what she doesn't like about him. She says that Kabir likes to sit every Sunday to do accounts and bills.
Bhaiya wonders: So?
Riya says: Every Sunday, Bhaiya...
Sonakshi says: You may complain. But I can see that you love him.
Riya feels shy.
Bhaiya says: I like him, no matter what you say.
Just then Radha comes there with Ishwari. She says that these two are sitting here chatting.
Riya says: Two of them? But they are three.
Me: Three? You mean Radha actually noticing the woman who handed over the keys to her? No. She is Mrs. India. Invisible.
Radha: Same difference. We looked for you two brother and sister the whole house.
Bhaiya says: We are here. Now tell us what you want to do?
Radha asks for selfie. They take a selfie.
Then Ishwari sees the selfie and sees that Radha blocked Sonakshi's face. She makes excuses that her eyes are closed and asks for another one and drags Sonakshi by her side.
She says: And we will say what Sonakshi says when she takes selfie.
Sonakshi says: Family?
Ishwari says: Yes, family.
Everyone says: Family
And take selfie.
They all like the selfie.
Then Riya and Ishwari take a selfie just the two of them.
They show it to Radha. Radha says overexcitedly: I am feeling so good like rainfall in Delhi's 49 degree temperature.
Riya agrees: Yes, Mami. I am also feeling good.
Ishwari hugs her again.
Radha wants Riya to come with her so that she can gossip with her.
Me: Radha irritates me. These days she can't complain about Sonakshi to Ishwari. I bet she will be venting to Riya. I am still angry with Sonakshi for handing over keys to her. Idiot woman.
Bhaiya sits back besides Sonakshi once Riya and Mami leave.
Ishwari tells him: Dev, do me a favour. Get me a glass of water.
Bhaiya shouts: Jassi...
Ishwari says: Dev, you go naa. You get me a glass of water. I want to talk to Sonakshi.
Bhaiya says: Oh dear. In-law drama has started.
He gets up.
Ishwari says: Stop talking rubbish. Go get me a glass of water.
Bhaiya hugs Ishwari and tells Sonakshi: You stole my mother from me, Sonakshi Bose.
Both Sonakshi and Ishwari say together: Sonakshi Dixit.
Bhaiya: Oh dear...
He laughs and scoots.
Sonakshi asks Ishwari to sit. She sits down.
Ishwari says: Sonakshi, one more time thank you.
Sonakshi says: Oh God. You have again started your thank yous. Don't say thank you.
Ishwari says: Then what should we do? Today because of you...
Sonakshi: Not because of me. Actually, Dev and I both did it together for our family. In fact, the the whole credit to get Riya back home should go to Dev.
Ishwari: Yes, but the credit to give him courage to go to Riya belongs to you. Beta if you put onion on hot oil, it gets burnt. If you don't saute them properly, they don't taste good. But for that you have to use a spatula to stir it. And you moved the spatula and sent my Dev there.
Sonakshi: One minute, you tell me the difference between a spatula and strainer. Tell me naa, which one has holes?
They laugh.
Me: Ishwari and Sonakshi's bond are getting stronger. As per new spoiler Ishwari is going to get a job in Lakshya's office. I hope Sonakshi prepares Ishwari before she finds out about Nikki. If she tells Ishwari in her room where she can vent out and be prepared before facing Nikki, then if she faces Nikki, it won't be either shocking nor as hurtful. Besides, the sooner she knows, the sooner she will be able to accept.
Radha tells Riya that it's good that she came. She can now share her feelings with someone. This house wasn't feeling like hers.
Riya wonders why does she think so.
Radha says that Asrani's character in the film Sholey only came in the movie once despite being such a great actor. It's his insult. She also feels like him in this house.
Riya doesn't get it.
Radha says: The day Sonakshi came into this house, Jiji took the keys from me like someone snatches expensive things from a little kid. She gave Sonakshi the keys. It was Jiji's choice, so I could not say anything. You tell me Riya, is it easy to care for a house for 7 years? When Jiji took the keys from me, my heart broke.
Radha wipes her tears.
Riya consoles her: Mami I know how you took care of this house. If you hadn't taken responsibilities, then who would have taken it? Please don't be sad like this. Now even Sonakshi bhabi came back in the house naa. Now everything will be alright and all problems will get sorted out.
Radha fake smiles.
Bhaiya overhears everything.
Me: Yippie!!! Bhaiya heard. See Bhaiya, Radha got the keys back and still complaining. Please tell your wife to stop trying to be nice to jerks.
And Radha, if you truly think like a family, then you won't think of those keys/power being your compensation for taking care of your duty. Because taking care of family is our duty. That doesn't mean that the family owes you the keys.
And besides whether they know or not, at least Bhaiya has seen how you and your son have misused your power.
I hope Bhaiya now got an idea of at least Radha's nature and he won't ignore it like he did Vicky's despite knowing his truth.
Nikki is checking the pictures Riya took. She posted it in facebook.
She is shocked.
Lakshya comes there with her favourite pizza to cheer her up.
He sees her sad mood and asks what's going on.
Nikki first hesitates, then tells him that Riya went home and she spent time with her family.
Lakshya says she should be happy about that. And if she feels sad, she should block her past relationships like he did. Because if he can't see anything about them, he won't feel sad.
Me: Hummm... Does it mean his family is also against their relationship?
Nikki says that she saw it already.
Lakshya says that she should relax. Hadn't she said that if people don't care about them, they should not care about them either? Now does she want the Pizza or should he have it himself?
Nikki is about to have pizza when doorbell rings.
Lakshya says: This better be important than this pizza.
He opens the door and it's Sonakshi with a gift.
Lakshya looks at Nikki.
Nikki is surprised to see her. But she comes to the door.
She asks: You came again?
Lakshya politely says: I didn't know last time that you are Nikki's sister-in-law. So... But we don't want any more problem. So with all due respect, please leave.
Sonakshi: Lakshya, I know you are a good boy. And may be you are even a better boyfriend. You want to protect Nikki. But Nikki is part of our family. So please don't stop us from meeting her or talking to her.
Nikki: I can't believe this. After all these years, in just two days, you guys remembered your rights on me? Whatever Lakshya said now are my thoughts too. So please, no need to put him on the spot. And please also take this gift with you. This doesn't work. I am not a kid.
Sonakshi: I wish you were still a child. May be you'd have been happy to see this gift. Please take it.
Nikki: I don't want it.
Sonakshi: Open and see it once. Then whatever you decide, it's your choice.
Nikki opens the gift and it's X-box.
She remembers Sona and her playing games.
Lakshya: Once again, this is massive... (Not sure what that means)
Sonakshi says: We have played a lot of games on this and won it too.
Lakshya jokes: She was always this cool before? I mean I didn't know. I thought I made her cool.
Sonakshi smiles at him.
Lakshya says: Nikki, I am sorry. I am keeping this.
Nikki stammers: And the one who brought the gift...
Lakshya says: I like her. The rest is your decision.
Nikki thinks.
Sonakshi says: If Nikki says, then I'd like to come in.
Nikki smiles and says: Please come in.
Sonakshi came in and sat down.
But being who she is, she starts to look around.
Then she notices signboard with NIL written on it.
Sonakshi asks: What is that?
Nikki says: Lakshya has made an app. That's the logo of it.
Sonakshi is impressed: App? You are an app developer?
Lakshya says: I know, I am a little cool for that. But yes, that's mine.
Nikki says that Lakshya has decided on the name combining their names.
Sonakshi says: Oh, so you too work with Lakshya?
Nikki says: No, di. I mean Sona Bhabhi. I am still not used to calling you Sona Bhabhi. Lakshya has set up this business and he runs it himself.
Sonakshi smiles: Oh.
Me: Question. Phir Nikki kya karti hain? (What does she do then?)
Lakshya asks for coffee. Sonakshi nods yes. Nikki also nods yes.
Then he says: Nikki, go get coffee. I also would like to have a cup.
Nikki says: You always break the flow of the conversation. You make coffee. Last time I made it.
Lakshya says: Who got Pizza? I did no?
They bicker like kids. Sonakshi smiles seeing them together.
Me: Now finally Sonakshi got the right strategy. She will never get Nikki back without taking Lakshya. Nikki is completely loyal to Lakshya. So instead of treating Lakshya as serial seducer who seduced poor little Nikki, she has to convince everyone to treat him as someone Nikki loves. It won't be easy. But pissing off Lakshya also means pissing off Nikki.
If Bhaiya had kept a neutral face and had bothered to get to know Lakshya and their relationship before reaching a judgement, she won't have to start from scratch. But anyway, she has made a lot more progress in one day. She will just have to keep Bhaiya away from them until Nikki and Lakshya are both completely comfortable with her.
Radha is giving instructions to Jassi on what to prepare.
Just then she sees Bhaiya is standing there.
Radha says: Dev beta, do you want anything? Should I call Jassi?
Me: Radha will now get it. Yay!!! Bhaiya khilayega aapko ab to. Unki biwi ke baare mein ulta sidha bola jo chal ke keys de gayee? Ab pata chalega. Keys wapas biwi ke paas.
(Bhaiya will now show her place. His wife returned the keys and still she was bad mouthing her. Now she will get it. Methinks the keys will return to Sonakshi again)
Bhaiya says: I haven't come to talk to Jassi. I need something from you.
Radha says: Then tell. What do you want?
Bhaiya says: Forgiveness. I want to say sorry to you.
Me: WHAT?????????????????????
Radha is also surprised: Forgiveness? Why beta?
Bhaiya: I have made a few life's worth of mistakes in last seven years.
Radha says: No, no. Dev beta. It's not your fault. You have always taken care of your family. And the time was such that...
Bhaiya: Regardless of time, one should not turn off from their family. You have always taken care of this house and you will take care of this house in the future as well. I have never said thank you to you for that nor I had said sorry. So I am doing everything now.
Radha is overwhelmed. Radha says: Will you make your Mami cry? Which house don't have kids who don't make mistakes? And the house where kids don't make mistakes, isn't a home.
Me (Face Palming hard): Oh so that's why you raised such a jerk so that someone else's house can look like a home? Now Vicky's numerous jerkwad behaviours are perfectly explained.
Seriously Bhaiya? Ek hi to hope tha. Woh bhi aap ne Guilt ki Ganga mein baha diya.
Abey, pehle sorry nikalta nehin tha. Ab rukta nehin hain. What the eff?
Aapne Americans ko sorry bola? Trump ko president banane ke liye?
Aapne Polar Bears ko sorry bola? Global Warming ke liye?
Aapne Syria ke orphans ko sorry bola? ISIS wale gadho ke liye?
Kyun nehin bola? Unko bhi sorry milni chahiye.
(I only had one hope and that too got sacrificed in Bhaiya's guilt alter.
He could not say one sorry before and now can't stop saying sorry.
Did you say sorry to Americans? For making Trump president?
Did you say sorry to the Polar Bears? For Global Warming?
Did you say sorry to Syrian orphans? For assholes from ISIS?
Why didn't you say sorry to them? They also deserve sorry.)
At night, Bhaiya asks Sonakshi: Come on, Sonakshi. Don't tell me. Why didn't you ask Nikki to come home?
Sonakshi says: When I saw them together, I just couldn't ask. They were looking so happy together. I didn't have courage to ask. I know Lakshya is a little different from us. But that's not a bad thing.
Bhaiya: Didn't you see how rudely he talked to me...
Me: He behaved way less rudely to you than you did to Bijoy Bose. He still let his daughter go back to you. So as I keep repeating, learn from him.
Sonakshi interrupts: I know. I know that you might have felt him to be a little rude.
Bhaiya: A little?
Sonakshi: Dev, if I had cried because of Dada, what you'd have done?
Bhaiya has no answer to that.
He walks to the window.
Sonakshi: Dev, he spoke rudely to you because Nikki got hurt because of us. He loves her.
Bhaiya: He has no manners to speak off, how will he take care of Nikki?
Sonakshi: Like he had been taking care of her. They have a lot of compatibility between them, they are equal. They don't have any restrictions between them. They understand each other very well. And I also think that they should be together. If they decide to get married later, then there is nothing wrong in this.
Dev, we have to understand their relationship like we understood ours. The time has changed. And there are some things which our generation can't understand. But we know naa, Dev? That two people needs to be happy to be together.
Me: Very well put, Sonakshi. Well said. I feel the priviledge of being born a human being in 21st century is having a choice regardless of gender. Those who prefer marriage, can marry. Those who want to taste the waters (so to speak) before getting married, can do so. Those who just want casual relationships, also should be able to take that decision. Just because one decision is not suitable for me, it doesn't mean I have the right to judge someone else who took that decision.
I may not have ever lived together, but that doesn't mean that if tomorrow my children or someone else tells me that they will be living with someone, I won't try to impose my ideas on them. I'd rather they don't end up marrying someone not right for them than live with someone first and find out if they are the right person for them.
It's very important in Canada because here, since the second marriage is registered, both husband and wife become equal owner of their combined property. Many people have lost half of their fortune that way. So it's better to be safe than sorry.
Although, even two years live-in gets Common Law status here and status of a Common-Law spouse. But at least you get two years to decide.
Bhaiya says: It's not that I absolutely don't understand this. But how will you explain Maa this concept of live in? She won't ever be able to tolerate this. And that boy? What will you tell Maa?
Sonakshi says: I won't handle this alone myself. Whatever needs to be done, we will do it together, always. We will come up with one solution or another. Don't worry.
Bhaiya: If you are here, what's the need for me to worry?
Sonakshi: Really? Then why were you tensed for so long, Mr. Obhodro?
Bhaiya puts his arms on Sonakshi's shoulder: If I don't act like I am tensed, then you won't come close to me and try to make me understand.
Sonakshi smirks: Someone should learn from you the art of turning any topic into romance.
Bhaiya gets romantic: You know, I...
Sonakshi looks at her.
Just then Golu and Soha come running and fighting: Me first, me first...
Bhaiya gives up: Who has ever come first?
Sonakshi hides her smile and clears her throat.
Bhaiya: Did you hear what I said?
Sonakshi says: May be you didn't finish what you were going to say...
Bhaiya is frustrated. Sonakshi goes to the kids.
Me: Talking about frustration, someone should learn from you two the art of turning any possible romance into PG 5. When will you learn to close the damn door?
In the meanwhile, Vicky will pop out some more kids for you to baby sit. He gets such uninterrupted time with his wife. Because he closes the damn door.
Sonakshi sits down on the bed and asks what are they up to?
Bhaiya sneakily texts Sonakshi.
Sonakshi's phone chimes.
Soha says: Mamma, your phone is ringing.
Before Sona could get to the phone, Golu picks up the phone much to Bhaiya's frustration and reads: Hawww... BigCha texted you "I love you"... BigChaaaa....
Bhaiya says: What? Hattt...
Soha smiles. Sonakshi snatches the phone.
She glares at Bhaiya. Bhaiya smiles.
Me: Okay, so not only you don't close the door, you also don't password protect your phone. So may I have your credit card no, banking information and all passwords? I mean I could just open your laptop and it should be all neatly arranged there, no? Duffer!!! Abey yeh successful hue to hue kaise? No wonder Vicky kab se chat raha hain inka maal.
(How the heck did they get successful? No wonder Vicky had been licking clean their wealth for so long.)
Sonakshi finally remembers her mother. She told Asha everything.
Asha says: My God, Ishwari ji stayed away from her daughters for so many years. I can't even imagine.
Sonakshi says: I know, Maa. And see Dev is so strong. He himself went to Riya and brought her back.
Asha smiles.
Just then Ronita comes running chirping: Sona di, look what Sona di ordered for me. When did you order? You didn't even tell me.
Sona says: Arre I ordered it just yesterday and it arrived today already?
Ronita says: I must say that their service is super fast.
Sona says: Yes. And see it's looking even nicer in person.
Ronita agrees: Yes. Maa, see.
Asha asks: Where did you order this from?
Sonakshi says: Maa, there is an app called NIL. A young, promising boy has developed it. You put your measurements there and you can then decide what style is best suited for you.
Asha is impressed.
Ronita says: Wow, that's super cool. I am downloading this app right now. My problem got solved. I will try this and show you.
She goes to try them on.
Asha says: Today's children are so smart. Online shopping, you put measurements and choose your style. Where do they get such innovative ideas?
Sonakshi says: Actually Maa, this is online shopping, right? So you don't need much stuff either. It's such a big company, but a small office. You know, just ten people work there. And they don't need much resources either.
Asha asks: Which app is that, Sona?
Sonakshi: NIL.
Asha thinks and nods.
Me: Asha got the idea. She got the perfect company for Ishwari to work in.
Ishwari is in an office with Asha.
The receptionist there asks Ishwari to fill up a form so that she can forward it to her boss.
Asha says: Thank you.
Ishwari wipes her sweat and says: Ashaji, where did you bring me?
Asha says: Where you should be. Remember you said that you don't want to work in a big place where a lot of people work? Then this is absolutely the right place for you. I asked around that these people are looking for interns.
Ishwari doesn't get it.
Asha says: Intern means that they will get you a job and also teach you here. Most importantly, they will teach you things. This is called internship. And if they like your work, then job is confirmed.
Ishwari nods but says: But Ashaji, one should work in such office naa, where people wear suits? Look how everyone is looking so young here. These people will chat in English and I won't understand anything.
Asha: Do you know what? Today's children have one speciality. They can work with people of all ages. And what's the big deal about English? You will learn it this fast (she clicks her fingers)
Ishwari smiles. Asha fills out the form on her behalf.
Me: This kind of reminds me of the movie I watched on the way to Mexico. It's called the Intern where Anna Hathaway's online company hires Robert De Niro's character and eventually becomes a good friend with the older man who wins her over with his experience and wisdom.
The interview was taken by another young man, not Lakshya.
He tells Ishwari: You have applied for internship?
Ishwari says: Yes.
He said: Oh I thought you have come here for your son or daughter.
Me: If someone's parents come to apply for a job for them, be a smart dude, don't hire them. There are somethings people should do on their own. Applying for job and appearing for interview are just two of them.
Ishwari says in Hindi that she has come for the job of Assistant.
He doesn't get the Hindi. He looks in the application but can't find the same job in Hindi. He says that they don't have a job called "Sahayak".
Ishwari says: I won't lie. I didn't fill this form. My son's mother-in-law has filled it up for me. She is a writer.
The dude says: You mean writer.
Ishwari: Yes. I don't understand English very well.
The guy says: Then ma'am you tell me what kind of work would you like to do?
Ishwari gets chatty: I don't know what kind of work you do here. Ashaji told me...
The interviewer says: Who's Ashaji?
Ishwari: I told you naa? My son's mother-in-law. The one who is the writer? She came with me. She said that my experience of sewing and knitting of so many years might be useful here.
Me: Ishwari is more proud of Asha's writing career than Sonakshi. She still hasn't congratulated Asha nor bothered to read her book. If she had, she might have been able to fix the issue. And Asha is of the mentality that once daughter leaves the house, she becomes a stranger. And no one shares anything with an outsider. So she won't ever tell Sonakshi the blunder she did until she finds out from elsewhere.
The guy asks: Your experience won't be useful for our company.
Ishwari says: Look, son... I mean look, I will say only that for the last 20 years, every day, I did my work on time all the time. I didn't take even a day off. And no one had any complaint about my work. So I think you might have something to do for people like me in your office.
He says: Mrs. Dixit, I also want to tell you one thing. We started our company with a small app. And within a few months, this app became such a big hit that we got flustered. And I am very sure if someone like you joins our company, then they will help us keep our feet grounded. So ma'am, I'd definitely would like to give you a chance. So Mrs. Dixit, welcome to NIL.
Ishwari smiles huge and extends her hand. The guy folds her hand. Then smiles and says sorry and shakes her hand.
Ishwari says: I will not disappoint you.
Me: Experience is priceless. In today's world, nothing beats it. In Canada, you may not find a work with a fresh MBS degree. But if you have a high school diploma combined with decades worth of experience, you will definitely find a job. Because life's experience is the best teacher a person can have.
Good job, Ishwari. I wish all elderly people found something for them to do, whatever that may be, after retirement. It keeps mind stimulated and health better. Without purpose or passion, life gives up on people and they give up on life.
PRECAP: Riya tells Sonakshi: After you left, if someone Bhaiya has hurt the most, is Maa.
Sonakshi asks: Means?
The scene changes to Sonakshi asking Bhaiya: Since I came back, I didn't see Maa waiting for you for dinner.
Bhaiya says: You also wanted this, no?
Sonakshi is taken aback.
Me: There she goes again. Sonakshi, your problem is that you keep assuming about what others want based on a stray comment. For God's sake, ask the person what do they want or if they still want the same thing as before?
1. Riya said that Bhaiya has hurt Maa. But have you even seen Ishwari as happy before as she is now? That means she is totally fine.
2. She used to wait for Bhaiya before. Now she doesn't. It could be because Bhaiya doesn't want her to anymore or she doesn't want to anymore. ASK, DON'T TELL.
3. You wanted to have the freedom to go out with Bhaiya occasionally, or go on a vacation, or even a date. Now you can. It's not as if Ishwari is sulking at home anymore. Then why would you assume that Ishwari is dying of unhappiness there?
Someone stop Sonakshi's tendency to fix what doesn't need fixing. It irritates the hell out of me.
NO RULES!!! YAY!!!
P.S. Guys, can any of you open this thread on Monday, July 3rd? It's a long weekend and Mr. O and I might be out enjoying the long weekend. If none of you are available, then I guess we will skip the post for Monday since there doesn't seem to be as many people interested in the show anymore.

NO RULES!!! YAY!!!
Nice title Tia. Trust me. It will be achieved and will be another feather in sona's cap
ReplyDeleteWhy not? Woh to Mrs. Fix It hain. Problem ho naa ho, Sonakshi is always ready to fix them.
DeleteU know what Tia. The show has reached its culmination point that's y the writers are running out of ideas. Kuch bhi dekha Rahe hain. I never saw anywhere sins being so indiscriminately justified. Phew this show is setting bad examples in the name of realism.
ReplyDeleteForget it. Lock your brain and watch it. I honestly can't tolerate Sonakshi's tendency to fix what doesn't need fixing anymore. What else now? When Vicky and Radha's truth come out, Sonakshi and Dev should apologise for that too?
DeleteHi Tia, Soumya here
DeleteI loved what they are showing with respect to Ishwari these days....its very important for any person to do something for themselves....it doesnt need to give them any income...but satisfaction is what that is needed....this experience of Ish is so close to my heart....I have personally know a few people who pursued their interests after they turned 50+
- my mom, she started learning computers - basics, then programming...earned a quite a few certificates and taught school kids...all this when she was 40 years :)
- my aunt, she was a teacher for over 20 years...retired recently...now she started to work on her passion - creating art from household waste...and i can say that when you see the final result...no one will guess what they were made of!
- a friend's dad - did his PhD after he retired from service...he always wanted to pursue that, but because of so many responsibilities that fell upon him during his early life, he couldnt
- my grand father - he started to learn new language every year after he turned 75 :)...he now knows more than 14 languages...indian and others included
Story wise, I dont think I have anything to say...as you mentioned, it looks pretty stale and ordinary...and it doesnt excite me any more....
-
oops, sorry, my response got posted as a reply...i think i used a wrong button while typing....
DeleteNo worries, Soumya. Yes, you are absolutely right. In fact research has proved that if we engage our brain in learning something or doing something that requires planning/thinking (not mindless repeatative task) or pursue a hobby at an advanced age, it helps keeps both mind and body healthy for longer. The pleasure you get out of a sense of achievement is just extra bonus.
DeleteWhat was that pre cap ? I could not understand..dev saying even she wanted like that something. Seriously crazy. Now whatever they are showing ma-beta pyaar not enough? May be we will get to see dev lying on eshwari lap and crying and cringe worthy hugs for saying sorry and thank you. Skip next week episode guys
ReplyDeleteWho knows? With the pace Sonakshi is going, she'd pick Bhaiya up and put him on Ishwari's lap whether she wants him or not.
DeleteNot only that. Sonakshi seems to b the new relationship guide. She is giving advices, making statements whenever not required, seriously the dude who writes sona's lines need to tone down, she 's coming across as extremely naive.
ReplyDeleteSonakshi is now all-knowing annoying super bahu. Like Ishwari and Asha pretended to be all knowing annoying super mom. I just can't tolerate know-it-all. Specially people who don't pay attention to their life instead of poking their nose where they belong.
DeleteThey give Sonakshi ugly clothes but why don't they tailor them properly? Today the light blue outfit's top part was tailored so badly.
ReplyDeleteI also wish they hadn't rushed Ishwari's realization and the proposal just to match the first proposal date, because the current story tracks are just forced and nonsensical. Ishwari getting a job is like a copy of the movie "The Intern" with Robert Deniro.
This show is now coasting on Sharica
Did you see the materials they use? Our Halloween costumes are made with better material than them. You can't properly stitch such cheap fabrics. You have to velcro them together.
DeleteProposal was total disaster for me. But what is more annoying for me is that until Bhaiya said that he has screwed up, Sonakshi showed no inclination to move in with Bhaiya. In fact she said that she doesn't want to get married so soon (if they are already married, then what marriage? And why would Bhaiya ask if she does not want to get married just then or never?).
But the moment Bhaiya revealed that he has screwed up and lost his three sisters, suddenly Sonakshi had a fix it project and can't wait to move in with Bhaiya. And since she moved in, how much time did she spent with him? She spends more time chasing sisters and fixing diets.
Some people like projects to work on, Sonakshi's projects are fixing things.
Very true. It looks like bhaiya vulnerability gives the boost to sona's ego. It's very obvious.
DeleteHi Tia.
ReplyDeleteBelated happy Canada day :)
I had a nice weekend at Paulton's theme park with my kiddo, and friends :D
Title is JUST PERFECT ...LOL
Coming to the episode:
I liked how Sona handled Nikki and her explanation on Nikki-Lakshya.
I like Ishwari's scenes and her job searching/interview, Ish-Asha friendship...this was what was missing in S1. These two bonding and fully accepting each other.
Finally, they showed Sona in Bose house...I thot she never visits them...now I know they dont bother to show unless required.
Disliked: Dev again going on guilt trip
I thot he will thank RR after overhearing her convo with Riya and then, will probably be stern to her for badmouthing Sonakshi....nah re nah...I always expect two too much.
Sonakshi likes to fix issues whn thr r n any, Dev luvs to go into DevD mode for crimes when thr r nt any. Thr is absolutely no solution to this permanent fixture in the two leads and probably this makes them more human and less of a hero-heroine couple.
Dev-Sona still needs to learn the essence of having a bedroom-door.
Thanks hun. We are in Huntsville in a cottage with another family enjoying the long weekend.
DeleteYep, I agree. I was shocked to see Bhaiya apologizing to Radha. I mean it's one thing to go to guilt trip once. But he seems to have seasons pass for guilt trips. He hardly returns before he is off on another one. Good lord.
By the way, will you be able to open the thread tomorrow hun? We will be late coming back tomorrow so I won't be able to write anything. Sorry for the short notice.
Ok. I'll open the thread.
DeleteI'll type in the dialogues..without any Me comments...:)
Thanks hun. You can write anything you want to write. You don't have to make identical post. It's just a way to give people a place to speak their mind. You can even write what you write in comments. Thanks very much. I really appreciate it.
