Home!!!

Last few weeks, I had been very busy. As you know, I had been updating quite late.

 Today was the day it all came to a conclusion.

 Not sure if I should laugh or cry.

 Today, I found out that my ankle is not going to get better before 6 months to an year. So that means, if you rate ankle sprain from 1 to 10, 1 being mild and 10 being severe, I got 10 out of 10 in that department.

 I was always an over-achiever. Why sprain less when you can sprain more?

 Now I know why I was still in pain three weeks after the sprain. 

 But the good news is that we also bought a house today. So, that is the best part. Introducing Mr. & Mrs. O's new home...

    Ur house is gorgeous both exterior and interior.The exterior had a natural feel and the interior is plush and modern.Awesome.

    Thank you. The furniture is off course not ours. But yes, we like the mix of rustic feel of reclaimed wood and contemporary style while maintaining the natural look of the place. That's why we bought it. :)

      Hi Soumya,

      Thank you.

      I am very fond of white counters. But of course eventually the wall colours will be changed. But for now it's a good neutral until we decide which colour we want in which room.

      Not sure where you are buying, but you have question about buying a home, feel free to ask.

      Yeah I love white walls...it brightens up the rooms...and I love to have rooms with natural lightings....we are looking in California...we already own one...but looking to upgrade :D

Home Grown Terrorism!!!

Before I write this post, I'd like to warn that this is a very controversial topic. But since this is what's going on in India, I'd like to share what it looks like to me. The whole world hates ISIS today. Why? They are terrorists. They don't believe in democracy. If anyone dares to speak against them, they issue death threats and carries them out. They don't want to listen to any opinion other than what they think is right.  Now let's take a look at so-called Rajput Karni Sena who is issuing violent threats left, right and centre. Do they believe in democracy? I don't think so.  How can any group issue open physical threat to another human being in a democratic country without being branded as terrorist? Tia's Thread - Love Notes!!!

Today I would like to share something my husband and I discussed over the last weekend.  I told you that we went to Stratford Festival last weekend. One of the shows we watched was Twelfth Night last Saturday night. In that story, this duke who is crazy in love with a lady, keeps sending his minions to woo her on his behalf. In the end, the lady falls in love with one of the minions he sent to impress the lady. So when we came out, I said that even when I read the play way back when, I thought that the duke was a wimp. You don't send minions to do the task that matters to you. You certainly don't send minions to woo your lady.  My husband said that's right. It was a dumb move on the duke's part. Then he asked me if he had ever written any love letters for me like the duke wrote for his lady love. I laughed and teased him that nope.
